Poem About Mcdonalds Analysis Essay
You Can t Write A Poem About McDonalds Analysis Ana 8 4 The poem You Can t Write A Poem
About McDonalds talks about consumption, and our hungry world, as well as a challenge implied. In
the title, You Can t Write A Poem About McDonalds states that the writer can t and is challenging
themselves. The challenge is answered by R.W writing this poem. There is quite a lot of sensory
details in this poem. For example, in line 2, the word singing you can hear the grumbling and feel the
rumbling in the readers belly. Also, in line 7, the reader can hear the screaming doom , as well as in
line 10, the reader can see how people are really slow and lazy and basically carrying themselves and
their weight. This makes the think that people who eat a lot at McDonald s and other fast food
restaurants are addicted and they can t stop and their body reacts in a bad way, such as they get larger,
are lazier, and many more. Next, in line 13, the reader can smell the saltiness of not only sweat but
also their fries and burgers. When the reader thinks about this line, it makes the reader think: People
are not exercising too much after eating a lot of McDonald s so there must be a lot of people and when
there is too much people in a room things can get smelly. Now, in lines 15 and 16, the reader can see
their stomach ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In line 5, the adverb coupling is describing the couple as R.W is walking to McDonald s; also showing
sign of symbolism. This makes the reader understand the time it takes for writing a quality poem.
Next, on line 3, the preposition through and the adjective blossoming are feeding the reader s brain,
and the reader can really enjoy this. Lastly, on line 18, the phrase the counter girl is as crisp as a pickle
is a very descriptive simile that makes the reader starving after reading so much descriptive adjectives
about McDonald s and their

Biomechanical Intervention Case Study
1) Many individuals have UE paresis after experiencing a stroke. This is why occupational therapy
service is needed; since they address many of the deficits, including stroke related motor impairment
of the UE. However, despite improved UE functional capacity, UE performance may remain severely
limited after stroke (Doman, Waddell, Bailey, Moore, Lang, 2016). There is a difference between the
function and the performance. For example, many individual after rehab are able to have movement
with their affected UE but, are not able to complete their activities of daily living; like brushing their
teeth and washing their face. So as an OT you must create an intervention that allows the client to
regain both the movements and complete their everyday performance. Like Many OT s I would first
create an intervention to regain movement of the affected UE while utilizing the side without paresis. I
will begin with therapy aimed at strengthening and increasing the range of motion. Once a client
achieves movement required to continue on the different tasks and accomplish their R UE. I would

work activities along with exercise to improve the person s ability to perform specific tasks

The Important Role Of Bureaucracy In The United States
I strongly believe that the bureaucracy is the real government. We the people just have a person in
office claiming to get things done. While congress passes laws, it would be somewhat impossible for
congress to make all the decisions that have to be made to translate the laws into action or to make
policies and choose actions on how the laws are to be carried out and enforced. So, then it looks like
bureaucrats run our country. Bureaucrats serve an important role by working with interest groups to
help get legislation presented to congressional subcommittees. Now with bureaucrats they all come
together from different agencies to form government policies. We Americans still have no clue as to
what really happens in those meetings or what anyone ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Interest groups give money to congress, who in return pass laws favorable to the interest groups.
Interest groups ae known to have a great influence over the policies that are made in areas that affect
them. They all get what they want at the end of the day. However, the public eye does not see the
amount of money that is being spent supporting certain groups. An example of a huge iron triangle
would be the American Association for Retired People (AARP), the House Subcommittee on Aging,
and the Social Security Administration all working together to set government policy on Social
Security. They have a goal of keeping the elderly all together and looking out for their well being.
When it comes down to policy making the iron triangles can pull different favors in return for making
policies just for

Business In Australi Business Analysis
Business is essential to any developed and developing society as it makes various contributions to the
economy and the progress of the society. In Australia, business is considered as a driving force for
social progress. There are currently 2.1 million businesses actively trading in Australia, as of 2016.
This is an increase of 2.4% from 2015. In the last couple of years, business entry rates have increased
from 13.4% to 14.6% while exit rates have decreased from 12.4% to 12.3%. This shows that there has
been business growth in Australia recently. At the moment, the industry classification with the highest
survival rate is Health Care and Social Assistance, which has a survival rate of 74.2%. On the
contrary, Accommodation and Food Services ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first factor is the failure to react to changes in society or the marketplace. Many business owners
think that their success in the past will continue to work and help their business grow, but in reality,
society and demands change all the time, especially with the development of technology. Failure to
adapt to these changes will cause many businesses to become outdated and lose to their competition.
Another factor for failure is the inability to price a product or service correctly. There are many
examples of this, one including a business making a product expensive for customers even though it
isn t of high quality. This mistake will make businesses lose their customer base and eventually fail.
Another example is if a business tries to make a high quality product, but also sell it for a cheap price.
This will make the business lose money, therefore narrowing its chances of achieving business
success. Although there are many failure factors, one important one that means the difference between
a successful business and a failed one is the lack of financial management. Good financial skills are
needed in a business in order to control and track the money that it earns and spends. An example of
this failure factor is if a business chooses to spend more money than it can earn, and also chooses to
spend it on something unproductive. This will cause the business to lose its money and fail. Overall,
there are

Global Sourcing And Global Supply Management
Global sourcing and global supply management are both very important concepts in global supply
chain management. Global sourcing, on the one hand, is the process of procurement or obtaining
much cheaper goods and services from foreign to domestic markets. Global supply management, on
the other hand, can fit a narrative of implementation, maintenance, and control of strategic processes
of buying, including outsourcing from low cost countries. Many companies and international
organizations today conform to such strategies to reduce total costs, gain a competitive edge over their
competitors in the same marketplace, increased their organization s profitability, meeting and
exceeding shareholders annual returns and more importantly steadily optimizing customer s
satisfaction. In today s international business environment, the world is seen as a global village where
goods and services flow across geographical boundaries and territories for the common purpose of
providing high quality supplies to domestic and foreign markets at a lower price to satisfy today s ever
increasing demand for quality products and services. Here are some major forces that have made
global sourcing and global supply management a reality for many contemporary businesses and
industries. Some of these factors can be traced back from historical factors, technological changes,
free trade agreements between countries, an increase in global competition and low cost of sourcing to
mention a few. Historical

Essay Theory of the Absurd
According to critic Mark Esslin, the concept of Theatre of the Absurd relates to the playwrights
loosely grouped under the label of the absurd attempt to convey their sense of bewilderment, anxiety,
and wonder in the face of an inexplicable universe ( The Theatre ). Esslin stressed the fact that plays
and stories belonging to the Theatre of the Absurd were composed of situations dealing with the way a
human reacts to an event, without any form of importance, thus only stressing over insignificant things
and rejecting the notion of logic. Albert Camus, a major writer of the Theatre of the Absurd , construes
the Absurd by completely varying this concept through the human personality, exemplified by The
Stranger and The Myth of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This act depicts that there is no true point to human life. While Meursault is a strong believer of this
concept, humanity attempts to form reasonable justifications for an insane wrongdoing. In the story,
Meursault states that The truth is I never have much to say. I just keep quiet (Camus 104). Thus, by
Meursault statement, Camus stresses the absurdity of silence as the prosecution unravels why
Meursault committed murder of the Arab. The Stranger opens up with a simple quote: Maman died
today. Or yesterday maybe, I don t know. I got a telegram from the home: Mother deceased. Funeral
tomorrow. Faithfully yours. That doesn t mean anything. Maybe it was yesterday (Camus 3). This
abrupt and distinctive introduction expresses the attitude that Meursault possesses that there is simply
no meaning to life as a whole a true stranger to the world. Furthermore, the trial in which Meursault
partakes is absurd in itself because the judge, prosecutors, and jury try to find meaning where there is
none to be found ( Albert ).
Moreover, Meursault implies that fact that he does not have any particular reason to live, and death is
the only way to go. His apathy and indifference about life further reveal the absurd in this novel.
According to McCarthy, Meursault is not truly saddened by his mother s death because in his mind,
death is an unavoidable force mankind is destined to die. During Meursault s mother s funeral,

Macrophage Cell
The Macrophage cell is a part of the Immune system (the immune system protect your body from
virus, bacteria and pathogens) The word microphage actually means big eater. The job of the
Macrophage is to inform other cell in the immune system (mainly the natural killer cells) that there is
virus and bacteria or pathogen, then the immune system will come to kill the bacteria or virus.
Macrophages will join the fight against foreign bodies by digesting enemies by process called
Phagocytosis. It is broken down into a couple of steps:
1. Pseudopod reach out and grabs the bacteria.
2. As the bacteria is swallowed in the cell phagosome is formed around it to prevent escape.
3. A lysosome reacts with the phagosome, releasing enzymes like the ones in stomach.
4. The bacteria get digested.
5. The remains of bacteria exit the cell to get absorbed back into the body.

1)to provide rationale for a macrophage centric approach to tissue reconstruction
2)to give an overview of the current state of the understanding of the implications associated with host

Eli Lilly Ranbaxy joint venture Essay
Executive Summary The Eli Lilly Ranbaxy joint venture allowed both Eli Lilly and Ranbaxy as
separate companies to grow and expand as one venture. The support and reliability that both
companies had with one another allowed for a strong business relationship to form which led to the
same business strategy vision and goals. This joint venture eliminated trade with other companies for
the same thing that one another could share to become one of the largest and most successful
pharmaceutical companies in the Indian market. The problem that Eli Lilly Ranbaxy was being
exposed to was a plateau of success with a joint venture and the thoughts of separating and selling

Eli Lilly was approached by a leading pharmaceutical firm in India to consider building a joint venture
together. Ranbaxy Laboratories began as a family business in the 1960 s, but with strong
entrepreneurial skills the company grew to become one of the largest manufacturers for bulk drugs
and generic drugs. The two companies considered pursuing a joint venture that would support on
another s products by supplying one other with ingredients to complete company products without
having to trade with other companies internationally. The JV would potentially lead both companies,
together to become a dominant force in the Indian market. In 1993 the two companies decided to build
a joint venture called Eli Lilly Ranbaxy JV that had a common business strategy and the intention to
focus on high ethical standards, technology, and innovation. The JV focused directly on the Indian
market since Ranbaxy had an existing relationship with the Indian Pharmaceutical Market they were
able to continue exploring potential clients and business relationships. Ranbaxy alone was a very well
known pharmaceutical company that had a large distribution network and was able to easily obtain
government approvals, licenses, distribution and supplies. The advantages to this joint venture are the
work ethic by both company s senior management teams as well as the previous relationships that

Video games go on to do more than just entertain us with the right dedication and structure a game can
be used as a tool. Much like how video games are being used to help terminally ill children learn the

video games can be used to help children with severe developmental issues learn to develop socials
skills so they can go about their lives like a child and cope with stress and emotions like how children

The Benefits of Playing games by Isabela Granic, Adam Lobel, and Rutger C. Engels, children
develop a belief about their intelligence and abilities, beliefs that underlie specific motivational styles
and directly after an achievement. Also in the research The Benefits of Playing Video Games it is
stated that Several studies have shown a causal relation between playing preferred video games and
improved mood or increases in positive emotion ( Russoniello, O Brien, Parks, 2009; Ryan, Rigby,
Przybylski, 2006). For example, studies suggest that playing puzzle video games games with minimal
interfaces, short term commitments, and a high degree of accessibility (e.g., Angry Birds, Bejeweled

has further been suggested that some of the most intense positive emotional experiences are triggered
in the context of playing video games. Contrary to conventional beliefs that video games are
intellectually lazy and sedating they actually promote a wide range of cognitive skills. This is
especially true for violent video games that have been hammered down by the media for their negative

Millennial Themes in The Prelude and Mont Blanc Essay
Millennial Themes in The Prelude and Mont Blanc
On reading Book VI of Wordsworth s thirteen part version of The Prelude, I was particularly struck by
the passage in which, following his crossing of the Alps, the poet describes the sick sight / And giddy
prospect of the raging stream (VI. 564 565) of the Arve Ravine as both an apocalyptic foreboding and
an expression of millennial unity in his theory of the One Mind:
The unfettered clouds and region of the heavens,
Tumult and peace, the darkness and the light,
Were all like workings of one mind, the features
Of the same face, blossoms upon one tree,
Characters of the great Apocalypse,
The types and symbols of eternity,
Of first, and last, and midst, and without end. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The time in which Wordsworth and the other Romantics wrote was itself at the turn of a century, and
the events of the French Revolution and later, the Napoleonic War also served to aggravate
apocalyptic/millennial thinking, in both senses. The initial promises of the overthrow of the monarchy
to bring about a unified millennial society soon gave way to the lurking destructive potentialities [that]
became evident with the Reign of Terror (Beer 110) and the declaration of war between Britain and
France in which people known to Wordsworth had become involved, many losing their lives in the
process. The journey retold in Book VI of The Prelude was one Wordsworth had made in 1790, when
he was twenty years old, when the turn of the century was still ten years away, and when the
Revolution was still in its earlier, more optimistic phases. As he had also done in Tintern Abbey,
Wordsworth uses his memories of the travels of his younger days to reflect upon the changes in his life
since those days, as well as to express his belief in The universal reason of mankind / The truth of
young and old (VI. 476 477) that would always endure even through the most violent upheavals in
society.
Many times throughout The Prelude, and especially in his musings on the imagination and the One
Mind in Book VI, Wordsworth contrasts his earlier use of the picturesque with his later use of the
sublime, which itself

Liberal Feminism vs. Radical Feminism Essay
Liberal Feminism and Radical Feminism
The goal of feminism as both a social movement and political movement is to make women and men
equal not only culturally, but socially and legally. Even though there are various types of feminism
that focus on different goals and issues, the ultimate end to feminism is abolishing gender inequality
that has negative effects on women in our society. The issues and goals that a feminist may have are
dependent on the social organization or the type of economic structure that is present. However, an
ultimate end (a goal, achievement and/or accomplishment) would have to be social equality between
men and women. This would mean the elimination of bias and discrimination towards women and the

They also argue that gender inequality in not the outcome of choices, personal attributes or
relationships with others, but structural sources such as workplaces, schools, and the government as
they are unable to provide women with the same resources as men. This includes healthcare,
education, equal wages and an overall balance between men and women. On the other hand, radical
feminism is a form of resistance feminism, which means their issues primarily lie within patriarchy or
men s dominance towards women. They argue that patriarchy is found wherever men and women are
in contact with each other. They believe that patriarchy is almost impossible to abolish because to be
superior is an attribute that most men have acquired of is already built into them. And whether it s
consciously or subconsciously, these traits are applied into their privileges that Western society has
given them (because they are men) and displayed within all the different aspects and occupations in
their lives. The main view of liberal feminism is that all people are created equal by God and deserve
equal rights. These types of feminists believe that oppression only exists because of the way men and
women are socialized by society, which supports patriarchy and keeps men in powerful positions.
Liberal feminists believe that women have the same mental capacity as males and should

although they should be interpreted with some caution as they may be slightly exaggerated. Anxiety

This research attempts to identify if any, a relationship between playing multiplayer online games and
developing communication like skills. Online multiplayer video games involve thousands of players
all over the world who may play solo, in teams, or with one other player. To begin the study, a survey
will be created in order to gather information on the communication skills of collaborative gaming
individuals. The survey will have subjects answer different questions regarding their communication
behavior during videogame playing. In addition the number of years that a subject has played a
particular video game or participated in online video gaming will also be gathered. The reason why

This sample size is appropriate because the study must account for the vast number of multiplayer
games that a respondent may participate in, which may have an impact on their communication skills.
It is important to recognize however, that this particular sample, though a convenience sample, is also
made up of respondents who are part of the gaming community. Thus, this sample has certain
limitations in that the data will compiled from a self selected sample.
Section 3: Key Variables
The main question was to identify whether online collaborative gaming improved communication
skills. Four variables were used to assess whether communication skills could be improved due to
online gaming they are as follows: team communication skills, communication through leadership
skills, autocratic leadership skills, and leadership through democracy skills. The team communication
skills variable which consists of questions on the survey 1 7 which can be found in the Appendix as

received by the respondent, the better team communication skills they believe they had. The next six

Artificial Intelligence In Chapppie
In a world where Artificially Intelligent robot police keep the streets in order, smarter inventions are
bound to arise. In the movie Chappie, the main character Chappie, is programmed with a new system
that can make him feel and think independently. This film relates to the philosophers Searle and
Turing due to their similar topics of Artificial Intelligence.
Searle distinguishes two types of Artificial Intelligence which is Strong Artificial Intelligence and
Weak Artificial Intelligence. They are both categorized based on the objectives that the inventors and
researchers are concentrated on attaining. Strong Artificial Intelligence is a computer programmed to

On this view intelligence is just being able to imitate or mimic what a human being does. So, a
computer that can pass a turing test is intelligent. Chappie relates to Turing s position because Chappie
speaks and acts the same as a human, if it wasn t for his appearance it would be very difficult to
differentiate Chappie from a human. This film fully supports Turing because Chappie perfectly
represents Strong Artificial Intelligence. As soon as Chappie is created by his inventor, he establishes
a mother and father figure for himself. He grows up the same as a child does, starting from scratch and
learning by watching and listening to his surroundings. Then, Chappie soon gets his own ideas and
opinions the more time goes by. He acts and thinks independently, just the same as a human being,
therefore he is truly intelligent.
The Chinese Room Argument is Searle s refutation of Strong Artificial Intelligence. The idea will be
that we have an entity that will pass a Turing Test, but which clearly lacks intelligence, therefore it
represents Weak Artificial Intelligence. The Chinese Room argument Searle created has an English
speaker in a room with chinese writing and symbols and rules in English for translating a words into a
symbol. Just because the person can translate a symbol into a word does not make the room
intelligent. The answers come out right, but that

The Euthyphro, Socrates And Euthyphro
Ortecia Guity
Introduction to Philosophy
4/30/15
In Plato s Euthyphro, Socrates and Euthyphro have a battle concerning the meaning of piety. Socrates
interrogates Euthyphro on whether or not is possible to have an objective definite definition of a
concept/object. This came to be known as Euthyphro s Dilemma. This argument can be clarified as
follows; what is dear to the gods is pious, and what is not is impious : if an object is God love, than the
object must be loved by all Gods; therefore, pious objects are those that are necessarily loved by all
Gods. (10a). The dilemma emanates when one realizes it is God loved if it is pious, and pious due to
being God loved; in this case, piety in itself would be considered irrational in ... Show more content

Also justice should be applied and any man who breaks the law should be prosecuted. Euthyphro s
second attempt to define piety is; What is dear to the gods is pious, and what is not is impious (7a).
What he s saying is that actions that are pleasing to the gods would be pious and those opposed to
them are impious. Socrates didn t agree with this because what s pleasing to one god isn t to another,
thus piety cannot be simply what is dear to the gods. In the real world, we could apply this to a
religion that serves one God, Christianity. By being a Christian we work to live our lives in a positive
way by what s written in the bible. But are our actions pious because God tells us to do so, or does
God tell us to do them because they are pious? In comparison to Euthyphro, our actions are pious
because God says to do them, while he says if were not pleasing the gods than were not pious.
Because we believe that God is omnipotent, we view his work as pious and want to live by his word.
Socrates points out that he has yet to answer the question and asks, how can you be so sure that your
action is not impious? His third attempt; The godly and the pious is a part of the just that is the care of
the gods, while that concerned with the care of men is the remaining part of justice (12e). Euthyphro

Paternal Rearing Styles
Furthermore, there are other ways besides a daughter s perception of her father that parenting styles
can affect the development of eating disorders in females (Jones, Leung, Harris, 2006). The research
of Jones, Leung, and Harris dove deeper into the different paternal rearing behaviors and core beliefs
and their influence in the development of disordered eating behaviors in females rather than simply
looking at perception alone, and they found some similar themes. Their research discovered that core
beliefs i.e. abandonment, vulnerability to harm, etc. mediated the relationship between different
paternal behaviors and the factors that can directly cause eating psychopathology. Individuals with
disordered eating tended to have more negative memories of paternal rearing and higher levels of
three core beliefs: abandonment, defectiveness/shame, and vulnerability to harm. This research also
found that the daughter perceiving their father as overprotective was predictive of a drive for thinness.
This data shows that paternal rearing behaviors are related to daughters developing and maintaining
eating disorders. Therefore, fathers are pertinent when considering how body image issues/eating

Kano Model And Quality Deployment Essay
Kano Model and Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
Introduction
It is a fact that the main target of any company is to meet the needs of customers. Customers are the
main goal as they are the main asset which brings in the profits to companies. As companies do their
best to attract as more as possible, and as there is a severe competition among companies to attract
customers, researchers also do their best to provide with means to analyze customer needs to help
companies meet these needs. One of these models used to identify the needs of customers is the Kano
Model. This model helps determine the main needs and the delights customers which the customers
expect to find in a product or a service. Therefore, Professor Noriaki Kano could give us a powerful
technique to address the issue of needs of customers. According to theory of Kano, the customer
satisfaction is not the same as this is proportional to the degree to which the product or service is
completely functional. So, the Kano Model and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) helps identify
the needs of customer in any of the products or services to determine how to meet such functional
requirements. Through this report, I am going to tackle the following tasks.

The developers really focused on accentuating her features that distinguishes a biological female from

whenever she would jump Lara would sexually moan than create a noise that was more suited to her

Problems Associated With Flood Patterns And Poor Water...
Introduction
The River Churn has various issues associated with flood patterns and poor water quality, affected by
continually changing land use patterns. A bi product is the negative impact that poor water quality has
had on ecology. The main aim therefore was to improve the water quality and biodiversity in order to
meet the demands of EU Legislation, during a three year pilot project. The approach was provided by
the WILD Project (Water with Integrated Local Delivery). The WILD Project was initiated in 2013, by
FWAG (The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group), set within the Cotswold Water Park (FWAG
South West, 2015).
The EU Legislative Body is the Water Framework Directive (WFD) defining a water body as not a
commercial product like any others, but instead a heritage which must be protected, defended and
treated as such (European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, 2000). Under the
Community Water Policy Seminar (1998), the need for Community legislation covering ecological
quality was established. Therefore an integrated Community policy on water was developed, an area
that the WILD Project has incorporated, using an Integrated Local Delivery method integrated with a
Catchment Based Approach . The main objective was achieving the good ecological status on all
surface and groundwater, or in heavily modified sections the river must achieve good ecological
potential (European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, 2000). The

Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska Research Paper
Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska was born Helena Kowalska on August 25, 1905 in Głogowiec, Poland.
Helena s family was very religious, so she and her nine siblings grew up with an understanding of the
Catholic faith, despite their immense poverty. It was apparent that she was deeply interested in
Catholicism from a very young age. She first attended Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the
impressionable age of seven. From there, her love of prayer and devotion to the Lord only increased.
She celebrated her first Holy Communion at age nine. Helena only had a three year education. Right
when she got out of school, she wanted to enter a convent. However, her parents refused to give her
permission. Once she became old enough, Helena got a job as a housekeeper to support herself and
her family. She never could have expected the coming wonders the Lord had in store for her. Around
1924, Helena had the privilege of experiencing her first vision of Christ. She was at a dance with her
sister when she saw an image of Jesus covered in wounds from his suffering on the cross. Helena
rushed to a cathedral and began to pray. There, she heard a voice tell her to leave immediately and set
off for a convent in Warsaw, Poland. She complied and joined the Sisters ... Show more content on

Pope Leo XIII Advantages And Disadvantages
Pope Leon XIII marked that history of society with his encyclical because of the moment that was
written. The industrial revolution was a transformation in the history of the world with the creation of
job s factories, the origin of two classes: the wealthy and the poor, and the migration of people from
rural to urban. Pope Leon XIII, could see that advantages and disadvantages of the industrial
revolution because the industrial revolution was violating human rights he made some arguments on
the common goods, the right of the workers and the private property.
Sharing benefits between member of the community is a principal that Pope Leo XIII is transmitting
in his encyclical. The common good is an important quality that society should develop every day. The
church has been always in behalf of the poor, for that reason Pope Leo XIII used that Bible as way to
support his idea of the common good, He cited, There was not a needy person among them, for as
many as owned land or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold (Acts 4:34). This
passage support his idea of common good in the way that if the wealth people could provide or share
their goods to the needy, poverty will decrease with the help of the church and the state. In this
argument he talks to those who practices almsgiving and those who ignore to help the needy (22) he
quoted, And the king will answer them, Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these
who are members of my family, you did it to me. (matt 25:40). This argument has a good intentions,
but I according to his source matt 25:40, it does not applied to the moment in the history and neither
today because if people could follow that norm of helping the needy, it would not be extreme poverty
as it was and it is. So, I do not consider this specific passage as essential for this argument. However,
he mentioned the state should be responsible of the common good. He defined the state as the
reasonable institution to take care of the administration of the commonwealth (32). His bases his
argument in one of his encyclicals named, On the Christian Constitution of the state before Rerum
Novarum, this encyclical explains

The Themes Of Entitlement In Lucky Jim By Kingsley Amis
Sam Torabi
Ms. Cordia
British and World Literature 7

Entitlement for the Ages
Stigmas, judgments, and misconceptions surround the newest generation of today s society, cleverly
named the millennials, like a virus. This particular generation is often subject to criticism and even
mockery, both justified and not justified. Similarly, the generation that is focused on in the events of
the novel Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis has been given the title of entitled. This conception is shown
through various characters and their respective developments, such as Jim, Dixon, and Bertrand. As
Amis develops these characters, we begin to see why their reputation is both justified and not justified,
and Amis leaves most of that interpretation open to the reader. Rather than forcing character traits by
explicitly telling the audience how each character thinks, he uses point of view to open up major
character decisions to the reader.
In order to look at the general feelings and actions of characters through the lens of entitlement, it is
important to define such a vague and often overused term. A TIME Magazine article, titled The Me
Me Me Generation, focuses on why millennials are the most narcissistic, self centered generation in
the history of western civilization. This attitude spreads not only among the upper and middle classes
but reaches as far as those living in poverty, who are selfish but for entirely different reasons than their
counterparts. According to the study, this movement of thinking inwards began with trying to
artificially inflate the self esteem of young adults in order to prevent them from thinking terribly about
the world around them. That self esteem movement began in the 70s, a decade of historical
significance highlighted by the Cold War. The article further states that not all of this narcissism is not
the fault of millennials, but because of the steady diet of entitlement, they have been fed. The author
mentions that kids grow up watching reality shows, which are basically documentaries about
narcissists. History classes frequently discuss how great the younger generation is now compared to
the past, where everyone was a farmer of some kind. All of this evidence and

Church History on Water Baptism
Church History on Water Baptism
Introduction
Baptism can be traced back to the Old Testament era during the time when the wanted to identify
themselves with the Israelites and become Jews. The word Baptize was coined from the Greek work
Bapto which basically means to immerse down in water and then pull out. Christians have been
practicing water baptism since time immemorial as a way of cleansing themselves of sins and getting
closer to Jesus Christ. Some churches require that a person must have specific qualifications before
one can perform a baptism.
However, in the Old Testament the act wasn t actually practiced as a way of repenting but rather the

Instead of using water during the baptism, Holy oil was used. The priest would meet the child at the
entrance of the church and if the child had not yet been baptized, the priest would put salt in the child
s mouth as a way of exorcising demons.
At the baptismal font, the priest would anoint the child after which the child would be immersed under
water. The child after being taken out of the water would then be wrapped by the godparents in pure
christening white linen gown. The child s godparents and the sole responsibility to look out for the
child as one would to their own children. Other than looking out for the child, the godparents were
expected to teach the child prayers and even go further to teach the child on morals and ways of
conducting one in a Christian manner in the society.
The Reformation
The reformation was a movement lead by Martin Luther in the sixteenth century in Western Europe
whose main purpose was to change of the Christian beliefs that were already in place at the time. The
reformation brought about the rise of four major Protestants; Lutheranism, Calvinism, Anglicanism
and Anabaptism. All the four Protestants were in agreement that baptism of infants was unnecessary
since as a new born child one could not possibly already have faith in something. Luther s views on
water baptism was just as similar as that of the Roman Catholic church as he believed that infant
baptism was of

The Role Of Robots In The Military
During the last few decades, technology has advanced. The modern technology has the capacity to
build robots that are now being used in the military. This website discusses the diverse uses and
advantages robots have in the military force, especially in combat. Everyday soldiers go on suicidal
missions in different parts of the world. These robots have a sense of comfort to these soldiers to
prevent an injury and even death. Certain uses of these robots include performing dangerous tasks
humans cannot be exposed to, using different type of weapons that are 100 percent effective, and
having robots that include cameras to detect enemy troops. Along with these maneuvers, many
advantages for the military occur, such as programming the robot to perform a task they asked for,
completing missions without humans actually been there, and destroying enemies without hurting
soldiers. All of the purposes that robots serve within the military frontier contribute to the big picture
of how the functions of robots help us as a society. Everyday, society observes that humans now
depend on technology in one way or another. This allows the use of robots to be implemented in the
medical field, allowing them to perform surgeries, in the military by letting robots complete missions
without the presence of humans, and to increase the production and profit in big industries. In this
article, their main concern is to prevent humans from drying on the suicidal missions they go to.

The Seven Functions Of Management
For any organization (in this case, health organization) to succeed, survive or thrive, there must be
effective and efficient management on the part of the leadership. Management is an essential
component of any organization because it is the component that directs and coordinates the current

Acceptance of Loss in Eveline and Hills Like White Elephants

Comparing Griswold Vs. Connecticut

Often times in today s world we take certain luxuries for granted. The right to vote, the right of free
speech, etc. But one of those luxuries that people often don t consider is the right for women to use
birth control. The Supreme Court case that argued for the use of contraceptives was Griswold vs
Connecticut. The court case was argued March 29th 30th 1965, but was not decided until June 7th
1965. The case was on the debate of whether or not the use of contraceptives should be legalized.
Griswold, the Executive and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood League of Connecticut, was on
the side arguing for the legalization of the use of contraceptives in a marriage. While the opposing
side, the state of Connecticut statute, had forbidden the use of contraceptives since 1879.
The Appellant, Estelle Griswold, had been counseling married couples at the Planned Parenthood
League of Connecticut, located in New Haven. The counseling aimed to give them medical advice as
well as information about different types of contraceptives, such as devices or drugs. Ms. Griswold
would meet with married couples and discuss which form of contraception was the right fit for the
patient. Due to the fact that these actions broke a Connecticut law that criminalized counseling about
birth control, Griswold and one of her colleagues were both found guilty. Nine days after the Planned

Foxtrot Dance History
The Fox Trot Approaching the 20th century it was hard to pick just one topic to write on. Since I did
not have a good understanding on what the Fox Trot was or how it originated, I decided to dig into
some research. After spending some time I had found that the Fox Trot was one of the most famous
dances at this particular time. The Fox Trot is defined as a ballroom dance that has alternating two
quick steps and two slow steps. The long walking movements involve a subtle rise fall action. Turning
movements are similar to Waltz, but with a more moderate rise and fall, and more length wise action (
Foxtrot Dance Steps in Ballroom Dance. ). When researching I found that the Fox Trot was associated
with the Vaudeville era and was named after the Vaudeville actor, Harry fox. Although, that was not
his real name, he was born with the name Arthur Carringford in Pomona, California, but in 1882, he
adopted the stage name of Fox after his grandfather ( Foxtrot Dance History Origins of Ballroom
Dance. ). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Fox was noticed for his trotting steps that were made to ragtime music. Trotting steps consisted of The
Foxtrot Basic forward dance step, The Foxtrot basic backward step, The Foxtrot Rock left turn,
Foxtrot forward progressive step, and the Foxtrot promenade steps. ( Foxtrot Dance History Origins of
Ballroom Dance ). When reading these steps, I felt as if the choreography sounded like clogging or tap
steps to me. Clogging steps such as the Possum Trot, which I had learned during my previous years in
clogging, reminds me of the

Essay on The Station Nightclub Fire West Warwick, Rhode...
The Station Nightclub Fire West Warwick, Rhode Island.
The building of the Station Nightclub was constructed in approximately 1946. Many restorations and
repairs were made to the building since the time of construction by different owners to fulfill their
business needs. The building was a wood frame construction with wooden shingles on the exterior
walls that also included a flat roof, but the interior walls surrounding the stage were staffed with sound
proof polyurethane insulating foam. Windows were located on the north side of the building and on
the east side of the front entrance. All of the windows had security bars on them (this could be an
issue!). The building had only four doors; a front main door, a bar side exit door, a ... Show more

They had to request for mutual aid from the encompassing jurisdictions for any apparatus and
ambulances available. The end result was a combination of 583 fire, EMS, and police personnel
including 57 ambulances (BLS ALS) and two buses for transportation and shelter.
The Local, State and Federal agencies were called to investigate the Station Nightclub fire incident
and they found many issues. The polyurethane foam that was on the interior walls was the major
factor in the Station Nightclub fire. It was easily ignited and also contributed to a faster fire spread
within the building. According to NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, the interior finish is required to be
Class A or B for general assembly areas with occupant loads of more than 300. It has been calculated
that the number of occupants at the Station Nightclub was around 440 458 people, obviously well over
this limit. The ignition of polyurethane foam gave out a magnitude of smoke and heat in such a short
period of time and created mass chaos, thus resulting in a crowd wide panic towards the initial entry
point. Also NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, section 13.2.3.6.1 states that the main entrance/exit shall be
of a width that accommodates one half of the total occupant load and shall be at the level of exit
discharge or shall connect to a stairway or ramp leading to a street. If the owner of The Station
Nightclub would have

Essentialist Theory Of The Queer Theory
sexuality often impacts the success of claims made by bi sexual refugees. The author argues that this
dominant understanding jettisons complex subjective positions and disregards varying realities. The
refugee determination system misinterprets and misidentifies the lived experiences of bisexual
claimants because of this knowledge, further disadvantaging this group of refugees. Rehaag observes
that individuals seeking asylum on the basis of oppression for their bisexual tendencies have
significantly higher rejection rates compared to other claimants.
To investigate this assertion, Rehaag uses the queer theory as the main theoretical framework.
According to Rehaag, the Queer theory is an interdisciplinary medium that examines the complex
interactions between sexuality and gender, and conceptualizes such views of sexual orientation as
essentialist. The essentialist view dichotomizes individuals as being either straight or gay on the basis
of early childhood psychological factors or biological traits. Consequently, this essentialist argument
comprehends sexual orientation as unchangeable and inflexible. Essentialists may, in selected
instances, acknowledge groups beyond gay and straight, such as transgendered and bisexual
individuals. Queer theorists reject the essentialist view arguing that these categories are not inflexible.
Rather, these categories are regularly recreated through socio historical patterns or structured social
exchanges. Consequently, the queer theory

  • 2. Poem About Mcdonalds Analysis Essay You Can t Write A Poem About McDonalds Analysis Ana 8 4 The poem You Can t Write A Poem About McDonalds talks about consumption, and our hungry world, as well as a challenge implied. In the title, You Can t Write A Poem About McDonalds states that the writer can t and is challenging themselves. The challenge is answered by R.W writing this poem. There is quite a lot of sensory details in this poem. For example, in line 2, the word singing you can hear the grumbling and feel the rumbling in the readers belly. Also, in line 7, the reader can hear the screaming doom , as well as in line 10, the reader can see how people are really slow and lazy and basically carrying themselves and their weight. This makes the think that people who eat a lot at McDonald s and other fast food restaurants are addicted and they can t stop and their body reacts in a bad way, such as they get larger, are lazier, and many more. Next, in line 13, the reader can smell the saltiness of not only sweat but also their fries and burgers. When the reader thinks about this line, it makes the reader think: People are not exercising too much after eating a lot of McDonald s so there must be a lot of people and when there is too much people in a room things can get smelly. • 3. Biomechanical Intervention Case Study 1) Many individuals have UE paresis after experiencing a stroke. This is why occupational therapy service is needed; since they address many of the deficits, including stroke related motor impairment of the UE. However, despite improved UE functional capacity, UE performance may remain severely limited after stroke (Doman, Waddell, Bailey, Moore, Lang, 2016). There is a difference between the function and the performance. For example, many individual after rehab are able to have movement with their affected UE but, are not able to complete their activities of daily living; like brushing their teeth and washing their face. So as an OT you must create an intervention that allows the client to regain both the movements and complete their everyday performance. Like Many OT s I would first create an intervention to regain movement of the affected UE while utilizing the side without paresis. • 4. The Important Role Of Bureaucracy In The United States I strongly believe that the bureaucracy is the real government. We the people just have a person in office claiming to get things done. While congress passes laws, it would be somewhat impossible for congress to make all the decisions that have to be made to translate the laws into action or to make policies and choose actions on how the laws are to be carried out and enforced. So, then it looks like bureaucrats run our country. Bureaucrats serve an important role by working with interest groups to help get legislation presented to congressional subcommittees. Now with bureaucrats they all come together from different agencies to form government policies. We Americans still have no clue as to what really happens in those meetings or what anyone ... Interest groups ae known to have a great influence over the policies that are made in areas that affect them. They all get what they want at the end of the day. However, the public eye does not see the amount of money that is being spent supporting certain groups. An example of a huge iron triangle would be the American Association for Retired People (AARP), the House Subcommittee on Aging, and the Social Security Administration all working together to set government policy on Social Security. They have a goal of keeping the elderly all together and looking out for their well being. Many business owners think that their success in the past will continue to work and help their business grow, but in reality, society and demands change all the time, especially with the development of technology. Failure to adapt to these changes will cause many businesses to become outdated and lose to their competition. Another factor for failure is the inability to price a product or service correctly. There are many examples of this, one including a business making a product expensive for customers even though it isn t of high quality. This mistake will make businesses lose their customer base and eventually fail. Another example is if a business tries to make a high quality product, but also sell it for a cheap price. This will make the business lose money, therefore narrowing its chances of achieving business success. Although there are many failure factors, one important one that means the difference between a successful business and a failed one is the lack of financial management. Good financial skills are needed in a business in order to control and track the money that it earns and spends. An example of this failure factor is if a business chooses to spend more money than it can earn, and also chooses to spend it on something unproductive. • 6. Global Sourcing And Global Supply Management Global sourcing and global supply management are both very important concepts in global supply chain management. Global sourcing, on the one hand, is the process of procurement or obtaining much cheaper goods and services from foreign to domestic markets. Global supply management, on the other hand, can fit a narrative of implementation, maintenance, and control of strategic processes of buying, including outsourcing from low cost countries. Many companies and international organizations today conform to such strategies to reduce total costs, gain a competitive edge over their competitors in the same marketplace, increased their organization s profitability, meeting and exceeding shareholders annual returns and more importantly steadily optimizing customer s satisfaction. In today s international business environment, the world is seen as a global village where goods and services flow across geographical boundaries and territories for the common purpose of providing high quality supplies to domestic and foreign markets at a lower price to satisfy today s ever increasing demand for quality products and services. Here are some major forces that have made global sourcing and global supply management a reality for many contemporary businesses and industries. Some of these factors can be traced back from historical factors, technological changes, free trade agreements between countries, an increase in global competition and low cost of sourcing to mention a few. • 7. Essay Theory of the Absurd According to critic Mark Esslin, the concept of Theatre of the Absurd relates to the playwrights loosely grouped under the label of the absurd attempt to convey their sense of bewilderment, anxiety, and wonder in the face of an inexplicable universe ( The Theatre ). Esslin stressed the fact that plays and stories belonging to the Theatre of the Absurd were composed of situations dealing with the way a human reacts to an event, without any form of importance, thus only stressing over insignificant things and rejecting the notion of logic. Albert Camus, a major writer of the Theatre of the Absurd , construes the Absurd by completely varying this concept through the human personality, exemplified by The Stranger and The Myth of ... While Meursault is a strong believer of this concept, humanity attempts to form reasonable justifications for an insane wrongdoing. In the story, Meursault states that The truth is I never have much to say. I just keep quiet (Camus 104). Thus, by Meursault statement, Camus stresses the absurdity of silence as the prosecution unravels why Meursault committed murder of the Arab. The Stranger opens up with a simple quote: Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don t know. I got a telegram from the home: Mother deceased. Funeral tomorrow. Faithfully yours. That doesn t mean anything. Maybe it was yesterday (Camus 3). This abrupt and distinctive introduction expresses the attitude that Meursault possesses that there is simply no meaning to life as a whole a true stranger to the world. Furthermore, the trial in which Meursault partakes is absurd in itself because the judge, prosecutors, and jury try to find meaning where there is none to be found ( Albert ). Moreover, Meursault implies that fact that he does not have any particular reason to live, and death is the only way to go. His apathy and indifference about life further reveal the absurd in this novel. According to McCarthy, Meursault is not truly saddened by his mother s death because in his mind, death is an unavoidable force mankind is destined to die. During Meursault s mother s funeral, ... Even though there are various types of feminism that focus on different goals and issues, the ultimate end to feminism is abolishing gender inequality that has negative effects on women in our society. The issues and goals that a feminist may have are dependent on the social organization or the type of economic structure that is present. On the other hand, radical feminism is a form of resistance feminism, which means their issues primarily lie within patriarchy or men s dominance towards women. They argue that patriarchy is found wherever men and women are in contact with each other. They believe that patriarchy is almost impossible to abolish because to be superior is an attribute that most men have acquired of is already built into them. And whether it s consciously or subconsciously, these traits are applied into their privileges that Western society has given them (because they are men) and displayed within all the different aspects and occupations in their lives. This argument can be clarified as follows; what is dear to the gods is pious, and what is not is impious : if an object is God love, than the object must be loved by all Gods; therefore, pious objects are those that are necessarily loved by all Gods. Socrates didn t agree with this because what s pleasing to one god isn t to another, thus piety cannot be simply what is dear to the gods. In the real world, we could apply this to a religion that serves one God, Christianity. By being a Christian we work to live our lives in a positive way by what s written in the bible. In comparison to Euthyphro, our actions are pious because God says to do them, while he says if were not pleasing the gods than were not pious. Because we believe that God is omnipotent, we view his work as pious and want to live by his word. Socrates points out that he has yet to answer the question and asks, how can you be so sure that your action is not impious? Paternal Rearing Styles Furthermore, there are other ways besides a daughter s perception of her father that parenting styles can affect the development of eating disorders in females (Jones, Leung, Harris, 2006). The research of Jones, Leung, and Harris dove deeper into the different paternal rearing behaviors and core beliefs and their influence in the development of disordered eating behaviors in females rather than simply looking at perception alone, and they found some similar themes. Their research discovered that core beliefs i.e. abandonment, vulnerability to harm, etc. mediated the relationship between different paternal behaviors and the factors that can directly cause eating psychopathology. Individuals with disordered eating tended to have more negative memories of paternal rearing and higher levels of three core beliefs: abandonment, defectiveness/shame, and vulnerability to harm. This research also found that the daughter perceiving their father as overprotective was predictive of a drive for thinness. • 30. Problems Associated With Flood Patterns And Poor Water... Introduction The River Churn has various issues associated with flood patterns and poor water quality, affected by continually changing land use patterns. A bi product is the negative impact that poor water quality has had on ecology. The main aim therefore was to improve the water quality and biodiversity in order to meet the demands of EU Legislation, during a three year pilot project. The approach was provided by the WILD Project (Water with Integrated Local Delivery). The WILD Project was initiated in 2013, by FWAG (The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group), set within the Cotswold Water Park (FWAG South West, 2015). The EU Legislative Body is the Water Framework Directive (WFD) defining a water body as not a commercial product like any others, but instead a heritage which must be protected, defended and treated as such (European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, 2000). Under the Community Water Policy Seminar (1998), the need for Community legislation covering ecological quality was established. Therefore an integrated Community policy on water was developed, an area that the WILD Project has incorporated, using an Integrated Local Delivery method integrated with a Catchment Based Approach . The main objective was achieving the good ecological status on all surface and groundwater, or in heavily modified sections the river must achieve good ecological potential (European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, 2000). Helena s family was very religious, so she and her nine siblings grew up with an understanding of the Catholic faith, despite their immense poverty. It was apparent that she was deeply interested in Catholicism from a very young age. She first attended Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the impressionable age of seven. From there, her love of prayer and devotion to the Lord only increased. She celebrated her first Holy Communion at age nine. Helena only had a three year education. Right when she got out of school, she wanted to enter a convent. However, her parents refused to give her permission. Once she became old enough, Helena got a job as a housekeeper to support herself and her family. She never could have expected the coming wonders the Lord had in store for her. Around 1924, Helena had the privilege of experiencing her first vision of Christ. She was at a dance with her sister when she saw an image of Jesus covered in wounds from his suffering on the cross. Helena rushed to a cathedral and began to pray. There, she heard a voice tell her to leave immediately and set off for a convent in Warsaw, Poland. She complied and joined the Sisters ... • 33. Pope Leo XIII Advantages And Disadvantages Pope Leon XIII marked that history of society with his encyclical because of the moment that was written. The industrial revolution was a transformation in the history of the world with the creation of job s factories, the origin of two classes: the wealthy and the poor, and the migration of people from rural to urban. Pope Leon XIII, could see that advantages and disadvantages of the industrial revolution because the industrial revolution was violating human rights he made some arguments on the common goods, the right of the workers and the private property. Sharing benefits between member of the community is a principal that Pope Leo XIII is transmitting in his encyclical. The common good is an important quality that society should develop every day. The church has been always in behalf of the poor, for that reason Pope Leo XIII used that Bible as way to support his idea of the common good, He cited, There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned land or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold (Acts 4:34). This passage support his idea of common good in the way that if the wealth people could provide or share their goods to the needy, poverty will decrease with the help of the church and the state. In this argument he talks to those who practices almsgiving and those who ignore to help the needy (22) he quoted, And the king will answer them, Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me. (matt 25:40). This argument has a good intentions, but I according to his source matt 25:40, it does not applied to the moment in the history and neither today because if people could follow that norm of helping the needy, it would not be extreme poverty as it was and it is. So, I do not consider this specific passage as essential for this argument. However, he mentioned the state should be responsible of the common good. He defined the state as the reasonable institution to take care of the administration of the commonwealth (32). His bases his argument in one of his encyclicals named, On the Christian Constitution of the state before Rerum Novarum, this encyclical explains Another way the Pope Leo XIII ... The Themes Of Entitlement In Lucky Jim By Kingsley Amis Sam Torabi Ms. Cordia British and World Literature 7 November 17, 2017 Entitlement for the Ages Stigmas, judgments, and misconceptions surround the newest generation of today s society, cleverly named the millennials, like a virus. This particular generation is often subject to criticism and even mockery, both justified and not justified. Similarly, the generation that is focused on in the events of the novel Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis has been given the title of entitled. This conception is shown through various characters and their respective developments, such as Jim, Dixon, and Bertrand. As Amis develops these characters, we begin to see why their reputation is both justified and not justified, and Amis leaves most of that interpretation open to the reader. Rather than forcing character traits by explicitly telling the audience how each character thinks, he uses point of view to open up major character decisions to the reader. In order to look at the general feelings and actions of characters through the lens of entitlement, it is important to define such a vague and often overused term. A TIME Magazine article, titled The Me Me Me Generation, focuses on why millennials are the most narcissistic, self centered generation in the history of western civilization. This attitude spreads not only among the upper and middle classes but reaches as far as those living in poverty, who are selfish but for entirely different reasons than their counterparts. According to the study, this movement of thinking inwards began with trying to artificially inflate the self esteem of young adults in order to prevent them from thinking terribly about the world around them. That self esteem movement began in the 70s, a decade of historical significance highlighted by the Cold War. The article further states that not all of this narcissism is not the fault of millennials, but because of the steady diet of entitlement, they have been fed. The author mentions that kids grow up watching reality shows, which are basically documentaries about narcissists. History classes frequently discuss how great the younger generation is now compared to the past, where everyone was a farmer of some kind. All of this evidence and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. Essentialist Theory Of The Queer Theory sexuality often impacts the success of claims made by bi sexual refugees. The author argues that this dominant understanding jettisons complex subjective positions and disregards varying realities. The refugee determination system misinterprets and misidentifies the lived experiences of bisexual claimants because of this knowledge, further disadvantaging this group of refugees. Rehaag observes that individuals seeking asylum on the basis of oppression for their bisexual tendencies have significantly higher rejection rates compared to other claimants. To investigate this assertion, Rehaag uses the queer theory as the main theoretical framework. According to Rehaag, the Queer theory is an interdisciplinary medium that examines the complex interactions between sexuality and gender, and conceptualizes such views of sexual orientation as essentialist. The essentialist view dichotomizes individuals as being either straight or gay on the basis of early childhood psychological factors or biological traits. Consequently, this essentialist argument comprehends sexual orientation as unchangeable and inflexible. Essentialists may, in selected instances, acknowledge groups beyond gay and straight, such as transgendered and bisexual individuals. Queer theorists reject the essentialist view arguing that these categories are not inflexible.
