iTRACK
The intelligent track system
Simply intelligent
A track system is an ideal solution for large spaces where many luminaires have to work in unison. This level of functionality, unfortunately, often comes at a price. Complex and time intensive installation is a traditional characteristic of these solutions, where the slightest change easily transforms into an in-depth project. Limitations within the track systems of today often force a choice between functions and types of fixture. That’s why Fagerhult developed iTrack; a system which refuses to compromise.

Energy efficient smart street light for smart city using sensors and controllerjournalBEEI
Smart street light is an intelligent control of street lights to optimize the problem of power consumption of the street, late in night. Conventional street lights are being replaced by Light Emitting Diode (LED) street lighting system, which reduces the power consumption. The focus of this project is to design a system of street lights controller to provide a reduction in power consumption. The prototype was designed by using Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Infrared sensor (IR), battery and LED. The brightness of the lamps is being controlled in this project to reduce the power consumption. The dimming of the lamps depends on the speed of object motion detected such as pedestrians, cyclists and cars. The higher speed of moving object, the greater the level of intensity. For this idea, the innovation of street lights is not quite the same as conventional street lights that are controlled by timer switch or light sensor which automatically turns light on during sunset and off during sunrise. According to the study, motion detection devices may help to save up to 40% of energy per month.

Street lighting accounts for 53% of outdoor lighting use, and the market is continuously increasing. In the context of rising energy prices and growing environmental awareness, energy efficiency is becoming one of the most important criteria for street lighting systems design. Monitoring of street lights and controlling is of utmost importance in developing country like India to reduce the power consumption. The world is converging towards wireless as a communication channel and at the same time facing energy and environmental problems .The paper presents a remote streetlight monitoring and controlling system based on LED and wireless sensor network. The system can be set to run in automatic mode, which control streetlight. This control can make a reasonable adjustment according to the seasonal variation. Also this system can run in controlled mode. In this mode, we can take the initiative to control streetlights through PC monitor terminal. This street light system also includes a time cut-out function, and an automatic control pattern for even more electricity conserving, namely when vehicles pass by, the light will turn on automatically, later turn off. This design can save a great amount of electricity compared to streetlamps that keep a light during nights. The design implements traffic flow magnitude statistics without adding any hardware, facilitating transportation condition information collecting. Furthermore, this system has auto-alarm function which will set off if any light is damaged and will show the serial number of the damaged light, thus it is easy to be found and repaired the damaged light. The system can be widely applied in all places which need timely control such as streets, stations, mining, schools, and electricity sectors and so on. In addition, the system integrates a digital temperature and humidity sensor, not only monitoring the streetlight but also temperature and humidity

Low iron counts and even anaemia due to iron deficiency is a widespread problem. Among adolescents, it will bring consequences on growth, school performance, morbidity and reproductive performance.
Iron deficiency also has several negative physical symptoms such as tiredness, headaches and difficulty to concentrate.
Conventional iron deficiency treatment with pharmacological iron doses often causes side effects such as abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhoea.
Uptake for heme iron is 20 – 40 %. (Non-heme 2 - 4 %)
Heme iron is very well tolerated. There are no known unpleasant side-effects. Uptake or tolerance will not change over time.

At the end of the vast flat lands of southern Sweden, at the edge of the Baltic Sea, lies the small town of Åhus. This is the setting for ateljé Lyktan, a lighting manufacturer with a 80-year long history and an archive of lights that have defined Swedish design over the last century, but ateljé Lyktan is not resting on its laurels. It is busy creating the next generation of lighting.
Light, naturally
The human need for light is simple. We need light in order to see. In order to live, work and feel safe. The best light is natural light; it surrounds us from all sides, never dazzles and we can always find shade should it become too obtrusive.
VIDI
We know that light improves communication
New lighting for better ommunication
A corridor is a place where we are on the way to somewhere else; but that's no reason to compromise on the lighting.
Few rooms have such high demands for glare-free, pleasant light and thats why we have always taken a little extra care. Vidi is another step away from traditional downlight or surface mounted corridor lighting solutions. Focusing on the people within the space, Vidi offers new opportunities to create a varied, glare-free, energy-efficient light.
By its very definition it’s a hard concept to prove at an early stage. Film, music, fashion, architecture all inspire towards it and it’s a statement which can come back to haunt you after a decade or two. But we will take that risk. Tibi is a luminaire suitable for virtually any application. Inspired by a classic principle and brought right up-to-date with contemporary technology, Tibi is ‘’timeless’’.

Looking for a star
Throughout the ages, stars have amazed people. The mystery of their existence has intrigued scientists in all times. In the early 1990s Fagerhult also gazed at the night sky with the wish to create our own luminous sphere. We wanted a luminaire that was just like a star – from this Pleiad was born.

The flexible identity of retail
Welcome to the ever-changing landscape of retail: an exciting, spellbinding world of commerce constantly advancing to attract the customers of today – and also of tomorrow. Increased desire for brand recognition and identity, emerging new technologies and shifting consumer behaviours are constantly challenging the physical set up of retail shops.
Open your eyes.
Architecture comes alive with light; without it the walls, depth, lines and context of a space disappears. Daylight is an obvious starting point when putting pen to paper, and when daylight ends, that’s when artificial light takes over. But what happens then?
The development of artificial light has always been dependent on technical restrictions, with the most creative of approaches still operating within these limitations. Lighting, like many other elements of a building, is selected out of a catalogue. From pendants through to downlights and recessed modules, luminaires are nearly always shaped by a light source appropriate for general lighting which closely mirrors daylight. The alternative is to hide the naked source behind panels and mouldings. Traditionally it’s been virtually impossible to offer the liberty to design with light – thanks to LED technology that’s about to change.

Fagerhult e-Sense – lighting control made simple
Some forms of technology have been steeped in mystery to the extent that they negate the purpose for which they were designed.
Light control is such an example. A technology that was born from our need of ergonomic and energy-saving lighting. Obvious, yet too diffi cult to understand. Both to those planning, the person installing, and to the person who has to use it.
At last the technology has fi nally matured and Fagerhult can now introduce a unique concept. e-Sense – added intelligence. All you need to do is to connect the luminaire and press a button.
Our aim has been to eliminate all the hidden costs of installation, operation and maintenance. To avoid switches and complicated settings. You install a normal luminaire, but get a complete control system.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

track systems of today often force a choice between func-
tions and types of fixture. That’s why Fagerhult developed
iTrack; a system which refuses to compromise.
Simply intelligent
3. 3
Simply complete
iTrack is a complete lighting system which unites lumi-
naires, controls and emergency lighting on a single track
solution. This inherent flexibility ensures energy efficient,
future-proofed systems can be configured to complement
the functions being undertaken within the space – in
virtually any application.
Track
The track, with its twelve circuits forms
the heart of the system. This advanced
technical solution is concealed within a
subtle white housing – contributing towards the visual
appeal of the space.
Luminaires
iTrack can be equipped with a range
of different fixtures, from the stringent
industrial to aesthetic interiors there is a
luminaire option for virtually any environment.
Connectors
A large number of different connectors
further enhances the flexibility of the
system. In addition to standard X, T, L and
straight connectors there is a new flex connector – which
is excusive to iTrack.
Installation
Ease of installation was one of the driving
forces behind the development of iTrack.
Either surface mounted or suspended
iTrack simplifies the process for a fast and attractive instal-
lation every time.
Control
Embracing the energy savings offered by
lighting controls iTrack can be supplied
with a range of different sensors, combin-
ing with other functions such as emergency lighting, for a
complete and simple installation.
A single lighting system that addresses the needs of the entire project? Wish-
ful thinking until now. iTrack makes what was impossible, possible.
4. 4
The ability to accommodate and compliment the design of
a space is one of the most desirable features in a lighting
system and iTrack boasts an unrivalled level of versatility.
The track itself is available in four different lengths, with
its host of connection options, offerings the scope to cre-
ate dynamic systems free from traditional limitations.
The expected X, T and L couplers are enhanced by iTracks
flex-connector which can be horizontally or vertically an-
gled up to 135°. Traditional problems of finding a solution
which can be used throughout a building, regardless of
varying ceiling angles, is now a thing of the past; offering
synergies which benefit the design, installation and main-
tenance of a project.
The flex factor

Engineered for value
Product development at Fagerhult takes a holistic view of
value, from design and installation through to operation
and maintenance we produce systems which offer a cost
effective solutions throughout the life-cycle of a project.
The concept behind iTrack was developed from scratch,
offering a fresh perspective on the functionality and
technology available to offer cost efficiency in every area.
The performance of an iTrack scheme is determined by the
selected configuration and choice of luminaires. Fagerhults
Life Cycle Cost calculator, LCC, helps identify at the plan-
ning stage an accurate picture of the costs throughout the
lifecycle of a project. The LCC is available to download at
www.fagerhult.co.uk
Planning and installation
A wide range of intelligent accessories simplifies the de-
sign process, offering the scope to create the right solution
for the specific project requirements- without compro-
mise. iTrack can quickly and easily be rebuilt, facilitating
adjustments to the positioning of the luminaires should
the layout or usage of the space change.
Energy efficiency
The choice of light source is a key consideration when de-
signing energy efficient luminaires, that’s why iTrack was
developed to utilise the two most efficient sources on the
market; LED and T5. With this as the foundation iTrack can
offer further energy savings through the use of control. A
presence sensor which detects the occupancy in a space,
and switches the light on or off accordingly, can signifi-
cantly reduce the energy consumed across a range of ap-
plications including corridors, schools and offices. Daylight
sensors work in unison with natural daylight, regulating
the level of light to ensure suitable luminance levels are
achieved while minimising the consumption of energy.
6. 6
Twelve circuits of built-in flexibility
A longstanding limitation of track systems has been
the number of circuits; often placing limitations on the
number of functions which can be used simultaneously.
iTrack is supplied with 12 built in circuits- more than any
other system on the market offering the freedom to ac-
cess three different phases for luminaires, in addition to
emergency and lighting control. Use 3, 7, 8 or 12 circuits
depending on your requirements, now you never need to
compromise in your selection. This advanced technical so-
lution has not been achieved at the expense of aesthetics.
Its compact design and clean lines are manufactured of
extruded aluminium, creating a lighter solution than the
traditional track systems constructed of steel.
Four circuits of openness
iTrack was developed to accommodate 3-phase adap-
tors, creating a unique open system. The ability to select
virtually any spotlight offers the designer greater freedom
to choose the lighting solutions they want from across
the market. Should the positioning of the furniture or
activities being undertaken within the space change, the
installed iTrack system can be easily and quickly adapted
accordingly.
Expect more
All connections are made in the supply connector before it is connected to
the track.
iTracks ‘openness’ is unique and
provides an opportunity to mount
spotlights from any manufacturer
anywhere along the track

Four circuits for control
iTrack is designed to incorporate the functions of con-
temporary lighting control; compatible with most of the
markets leading suppliers. iTrack has been optimised for
DALI to maximise the fully capabilities of the system. The
addressable DALI control simplifies the process of coordi-
nating numerous luminaires digitally, without the need for
manual intervention. From presence sensors to daylight
control iTrack creates an ideal lit environment while keep-
ing energy expenditure to a minimum.
Double up
Today the DALI protocol is used to create flexible, digital
control solutions for fluorescent lighting. The system
presents numerous opportunities to programme custom-
isable controls, however existing installations are limited
by the number of addresses (64). The standard 7pole itrack
can be delivered with up to 63 addresses, while the twelve
pole version has two DALI systems working in unison. The
first DALI connection (C1/C2) and the second connection
(X1/X2) offering the scope to control almost twice as many
fixtures within the same track system.
The second circuit (X1/X2) is connected to a DALI router
ensuring full compatibility between the two systems- of-
fering twice the capabilities of a standard offering. By
offering additional features, such a push button panels
and touch screens the full capabilities of the system can
be accessed in a user-friendly fashion.

Four circuits for safety
Emergency lighting is an essential requirement for modern
track systems. iTrack can be configured for both decen-
tralised and centralised emergency systems. Fagerhult’s
emLED emergency lighting range offers both options.
Both utilise the ultra efficient LED light source while the
decentralised version is equipped with a NiMHA battery
as part of its environmentally conscious design. The fourth
conductor is an earth wire, which ensures earth continual-
ity between the rails, past the links and joints.
emLED decentralised
The integrated emLED system is directly connected to
iTrack. The system includes electronics, battery and a LED
unit that provides emergency lights for three hours. The
system corresponds to the requirements of EN 60598-2-22
and has a built-in self-test according to EN 62034.
In iTrack with DALI, each emergency unit can be monitored
or tested through the DALI protocol, which makes the
system ideal for retail spaces, schools and offices.
emLED centralised
The centralised emLED system is based on an integrated
LED unit that connects to the central emergency lighting
system.

10. 10
With the practical and technical considerations of a track
system often coming to the fore during its construction,
it’s amazing how often the actual lighting solutions itself
ends up being a secondary concern. iTrack has been devel-
oped in the Fagerhult spirit of focusing on enhancing the
visual tasks and the experience within a room.
A prerequisite for a track system is that the light can be
adjusted to the needs of the room and with the scope to
reinvent itself over time. An open plan office can often be-
come a collection of cellular ones; the fact that a premises
and its use varies over time is the rule not the exception. A
lighting solution should be considered a long-term invest-
ment and accommodating of change. iTrack can be easily
rebuilt and extended to adapt to new needs.
The luminaires in the iTrack family are suitable for a
diverse range of applications. Should the activities
undertaken change, it is easy to rebuild or replace. A
truly future-proofed solution!

With its uncompromising functionality iTrack is a system
which opens up new possibilities in lighting design. The
slim profile conceals the technical elements from view
while the variation within the range offers a solution for
the most diverse of applications.
Customised solutions for every application
The ability for track systems to permit numerous lumi-
naires to communicate and act in unison lends itself to
large areas or longer spaces. From airports and warehous-
es to factories and showrooms there is an option within
the iTrack family for virtually any environment.
15. 15
Offices
The ability to reconfigure the lighting system as the
interior changes makes iTrack ideal for a host of commer-
cial applications. In call centres or large open plan office,
both which are subject to regular reinventions, fixtures
can be easily removed or replaced without causing major
disruptions to the operations. Fagerhults Dual and Kite
luminaires offer a choice between either a totally direct
light distribution or a combination of direct and indirect.
Both are equipped with the high performance Beta louvre,
safeguarding against glare and helping to create a com-
fortable working environment. Supplementing the system
with presence or daylight controls helps keep the energy
consumption to a minimum while a DALI system can pro-
gramme the luminaires for either set scenes or levels set
by the user for a personal lighting experience.
16. 16
Venues
iTracks ability to combine large-scale lighting solutions
with controls and emergency lighting lends itself perfectly
to rooms where many people gather - such as conference
centres and schools. With a DALI control system you can
create specific lighting scenes for different types of activi-
ties such as meetings, presentations and performances.
iTrack Dual is an ideal solution for conference halls or class-
rooms, where its combination of direct and indirect lighting
provides a comfortable environment that facilitates com-
munication and learning.
Presence and daylight control is an effective way of en-
suring energy is not wasted in these types of premises with
irregular usage patterns.

robust design, iTrack ticks every box of the essentials of
lighting in industrial environments. The system is quick to
install and be maintained or rebuilt with minimal disrup-
tion to ongoing production. Providing an effective working
light, the addition of controls offers the scope to optimise
the light levels to the different requirements of shift work.
The sturdy design of the luminaires and connections cre-
ates a durable, LONGLIFE alternative to more traditional
industrial fixtures.
