Uses

School: Some students may create groups to help each other
with homework by posting on a group wall.

Business: Help advertise new products and let the masses
know in an easier way

Home: Find friends, connect with people, share information,
share pictures, etc...
Facebook: The Web 2.0 Tool
A web 2.0 tool is something that helps with communication,
share information securely and collaborates online.
Facebook is perfect for talking and communicating with people,
and makes it easy with wall posts, status comments, photo
comments, Facebook chat, leaving videos on people's walls,
and inboxing.

It also shares information securely because you have complete
control of how much information people can see, to the point
where you can never be found by anyone you don't want
finding you.
All of this takes place on the internet, thus completing the
definition of a Web 2.0 tool.
