All students participated in an activity to practice identifying words, letters, and sounds. Younger students focused on identifying initial letters of words or objects in pictures. Five-year-old students were asked to not only identify words and their first letters but also say another word starting with the same letter. The activity took place in January 2014 at Kindergarten Corredoura in Portugal.
