 What is It ? :-
•Pop culture is the vernacular
(people’s) culture that prevails in any
given society.
•Popular Culture is also known as Pop
Culture.
•Popular culture is the culture of
Masses.
•Heavily influenced by mass media,
this collection of ideas permeates the
everyday lives of the society.
 What Is Popular Culture Or Definition :-
• Popular culture is the entirety of ideas, perspectives,
attitudes, memes, images, and other phenomena that are
within the mainstream of a given culture, especially
Western culture of the early to mid 20th century and the
emerging global mainstream of the late 20th and early
21st century.
• The general culture of a society, including ideas, music,
books, and the mass media, as opposed to high culture.
• The term “Pop Culture" became mainstream during the
1980's.
 How is Pop Culture Determined ? :-
•By everyday interactions, needs and
desires, the cultural “moments” that
make up our everyday lives.
 Who Influences Pop Culture ? :-
• In modern society, pop culture is
influenced by the industries that
disseminate cultural material.
• Film, television, news media, music,
publishing, anime.
 What Makes Pop Culture Unique ?
• It is constantly changing
• It is specific to time and place
 Types Of Popular Culture Analysis :-
 There are four main
types of popular culture
analysis like,

3. Audience Analysis,
4. Historical Analysis. These analyses seek to
get beneath the

meanings and examine
