2. Reflections
For the reflections experiment I decided to walk around college and find
different objects that gave a reflection excluding mirrors which are the
obvious, I found reflections in puddles outside which gave a nice reflection
of the trees, I also found a few items inside college such as the bins which
gave a good fish eye effect to the photographs and showed both me and
other students, the last reflective image I got was from one of the light bulbs
in the college building which clearly reflected the windows on the roof of the
building.
The photographs I have produced for this experiment brought out a number
of good and bad results, some of the bad results included bad lighting so
that I was unable to see the reflections, another big issue whilst trying to get
reflective images included bad light reflections from the camera especially
on the bin reflection because it was such a clean reflection the flash on the
camera gave an unneeded bright reflection. Working outside also caused a
few issues because the weather was bad which caused issues with the
lighting.
The positive aspects of my results are that I managed to create some
interesting images that were all different when compared with one another,
each image I took has a different aspect that I like the most, the bin
reflection image almost creates a fish eye effect because of the shape, I
also like that it shows me in the reflection, other students and the building
behind me.
The reflection in the puddle is very interesting because there are so many
different puddles which are all different shapes and sizes and they create a
collage of the trees.
The last image is my favourite because it is so clean and crisp, it is also
very clean and simple but I like how the light from the sky has reflected
though on to the glass of the light bulb and that all the windows are different
shapes.

I also like that some of the image is out of focus which brings more attention to the reflection of the skyline on the glass and
that I can mildly see the inside of the light bulb which I think also brings an interesting effect to the image.

4. Out of focus
For the out of focus experiment I decided t take my photographs in my own
house as I found that some items in my house were very interesting and
would give a good effect when taken out of focus, overall I am happy with
the results I have produced because they look interesting and have similar
aspects to many other out of focus photographers.
During my experiments I found that using lighting helped to make the
images look better so I included taking an image of a light and also two
images where the lighting was in front of the object and the lighting was
behind the object.
The results I managed to get were very interesting and each result came
out very differently because I incorporated different photographic
techniques with the out of focus technique.
My first photograph is of my cat, I like this image because the background
is in focus whereas the subject is out of focus, I think this creates a good
effect because it makes the subject stand out more I also like the lighting in
this photograph because it brings out the green and yellow colour in her
eyes which I think is the most interesting part of the photograph.
The second image is of a light in my dining room, this is my favourite of the
three photographs because the subject is so different from most lights and
it looks interesting when it is taken out of focus, this photograph is a little bit
different from the first one because the background is also out of focus
which brings the light source to attention.
The final image is a photograph of a flower again from my dining room, the
aspect that I like most about this photograph is that I have chosen to take it
with the lighting behind the subject which I think gives an interesting effect
because it shows the silhouette of the subject along with it being out of
focus.

5. This is my best photograph for this experiment because there are a few different aspects that
catch my eye, I like the effect that the positioning of the lighting gives, having the lighting
behind the subject creates a silhouette and still shows the bright colour.

6. Movement
For the movement experiment I aimed to capture the trail of movement as if
two separate images had been layer on top of one another.
I did these experiments in two different places as I wanted to get different
and interesting images and at the same time use different lighting to create
different and interesting effects, overall I am happy with the second image
the most because it has more movement and the first image is very simple
compared to the second. My first image was taken in my home and the
subject is my hand whilst the second image is of a guitarist at a recent
concert.
The results I achieved I think are very simple but also very interesting
because they are two completely different subjects with different lighting
and scenes.
My first photograph has many positive aspects including the dark lighting
which I think helps this photograph to link with the final theme of exorcisms
because it is dark and also the subject is part of a body, Another thing that I
like about this photograph is that the movement has been captured really
well and we are still able to make out what the subject is, I also like the fact
that the background of the photograph is completely still which brings more
focus to the subject.
My second photograph is of a guitarist at a recent concert I attended, I
managed to get to the front of the barrier and decided to use this to my
advantage as I noticed that the guitarist was moving a round a lot, I like this
image the the most because it is not as blurred as the first and it also
captures the movement a little better. The thing that I like most about this
photograph is the lighting because the lighting is much brighter in this
photograph compared to the first one and it is also mainly coming from
behind the subject.

7. I have chosen this image as my favourite because there are many different and interesting
aspects such as the different coloured lighting and the position of the lighting, I also like how
well the movement has been captured from the camera moving and also the subject.

8. Photomerge
For the photomerge experiment I wanted to take a photograph
of a pattern so that when I merged it together it looked more
interesting and easy to place together, to do this I took several
photographs of the wallpaper in my home living room because it
has a floral pattern which changes on each section of the wall,
the outcome of this photomerge photograph is very interesting
because the pattern does not match up completely but we are
still able to make out and see what the pattern is supposed to
be.
Overall I am happy with the results I gained from this
experiment because it looks like a collage but still I am able to
see the floral pattern of the wallpaper.
The aspects I like most about this photograph are the lighting
and the way the photographs have been positioned, the lighting
is interesting because the pattern on the wallpaper is silver and
it has caused the flash of the camera to bounce back and bring
more attention to the silver colouring, I also like the positioning
of the photographs because they have been placed differently to
how the pattern looks on the wall and also some of the
photographs are of the same sections of the walls and they
have been positioned away from one another.
