1. On your Samsung Galaxy S phone, press the Menu Button, then select Settings
2. Select Accounts and Sync
3. Select Add Account
4. Select Corporate

Email Address: your MIT email address
Password: your MIT Kerberos password
6. Select Next
7. Enter in the following information...
DomainUsername: exchangeusername –> full email address or Infomedia18 user login
name
Password: should be pre-filled with your Kerberos password -> Password
Exchange Server: oa.exchange.mit.edu red003.mail.apac.microsoftonline.com
Use secure connection (SSL): (checked)
Accept all SSL certificates: (unchecked)
3. 8. Select Next
9. The phone will now verify the account information...
10. Account Options... (these options are YOUR preference)
Email Checking Frequency: PUSH (instant)
Account to synchronize: One day (one day back, adjust accordingly)
Email size: 2 KB (amount pre-downloaded, adjust accordingly)
Send email from this account by default: your choice
Notify me when email arrives: your choice
Sync contacts from this account: your choice (sync contacts from MIT exchange)
Sync calendar from this account: your choice (sync calendar events from MIT exchange)
Delete from Phone and Server: your choice (when you delete on phone it deletes on
server, vise versa)
4. 11. Select Next.
12. Enter in the following information...
Give this account a name (optional): MIT Email
Your Name (displayed on outgoing messages): Your Name e.g. John Smith
13. Select Done
14. Your Galaxy S phone will now begin synchronizing your Exchange information, please
give it a few minutes to synchronize this information. To verify that your information is
properly synchronizing, open up either the Email, Contacts, or Calendar app.
