Example Of Interview Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Example of Interview Essay" can be both challenging and
rewarding. The intricacy lies in the delicate balance between presenting the interviewee's
thoughts coherently and weaving them into a compelling narrative. The process involves
meticulous planning, thoughtful questioning, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from
the interview.
To commence, one must meticulously prepare for the interview itself, researching the
interviewee's background and crafting questions that not only elicit insightful responses but also
contribute to a well-rounded portrayal. The actual interview can be an intricate dance, requiring
keen listening skills and the ability to adapt questions on the fly based on the interviewee's
responses.
Transcribing and organizing the collected information is another hurdle. The essay should have a
clear structure, introducing the interviewee and the context, followed by a smooth transition into
the main discussion. Balancing direct quotes with paraphrased content can be challenging,
aiming to preserve the interviewee's voice while ensuring the essay flows naturally.
Moreover, weaving a cohesive narrative demands a keen understanding of the interviewee's
perspective and the overarching theme of the essay. Skillful integration of personal insights,
reflections, and contextual information can elevate the essay from a mere transcript to a
compelling piece of storytelling.
The difficulty intensifies when attempting to strike a balance between objectivity and
subjectivity. Maintaining the authenticity of the interviewee's voice while infusing the essay with
the writer's perspective can be a delicate task, requiring finesse in language and narrative
construction.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of an interview is a multi-faceted endeavor. It
involves meticulous preparation, adept interviewing skills, and the ability to transform raw
conversations into a coherent and engaging narrative. Success in this task is not only measured
by the accurate portrayal of the interviewee but also by the artful storytelling that captures the
reader's attention. Similar essays, and assistance in crafting them, can be sought through

The Core Values Of Benevolence In The Analects And The
Bible
Kindness is one of the core values of humanity and civilization. A man with kindness
is spontaneously capable of loving, and love is the foundation of almost every
relationship, an untiring pursuit and unceasing desire of people. The Analects and the
Bible are the two most influential classics in China and the western society. The
Analects looks at life from the angle of humannature while the Bible uses religious
thinking to explain the world and humanity. As the source of the development of the
East and the West, the Christian culture and the Confucian culture have common
features in many aspects. Therefore as the essences of the cultures, the two classics
reflect the same values, which are kindness and love. The values are still remarkable

One of the most important ideas the Bible delivers is that God loves all human and
all other creatures. Therefore Christianity advocates that people should follow the
example of God, love him back and love each other like siblings. People should
learn from the Holy Spirit because the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness ( ( removed HTML ) 5:22 23). The
foundation of Christian love is different from Confucius love. It is not family
oriented, which means blood ties are not that important. God wants all people to
enjoy the love of brothers and sisters they are actual family. According to the Bible,
when people told Jesus that his mother and brothers were outside looking for him,
he responded that whoever did God s will was his brother and sister and mother ( (
removed HTML ) 3:32 35). Christian love has no difference between each person
and no closeness or social class difference, it is equally given to every living being
on earth. However, the ultimate purpose of Christian love is the same as Confucius
benevolence, which is achieving universal love for all. When a law expert Pharisee
tested Jesus by asking him the greatest commandment in the Law, Jesus replied that
first love God with one s soul, heart and mind, and then love the neighbors as
oneself ( ( removed HTML ) 22:34 40) The two commandments of love are the

Why The Grizzly Divided In The Bare Bears
What if you see three bears right in front of you on the street? I bet you will scream
and run. The situation could be totally different if it happens in a cartoon on the
screen. The Bare Bears is such a story about humanised bears in human society,
created by Daniel Chong. The main characters are three bears as indicated in the title.
They are grizzly, panda and ice bear. The grizzly is always active and enthusiastic on
making friends, whereas Panda is like a normal geek, obsessed with his phone all day
long. Ice bear is as silent as ice, but he is the backup force of the bear family, because
he is capable of literally everything. By the way, he is also an excellent cook. The

Females also favour their same sex friend more than opposite sex friends in kinder

with same sex friends in preadolescence.(Strough and Covatto 2002) The situation
changes as they grow older, OSFs are found more intimate than in younger
age.(Sharabany, Gershoni et al. 1981) Adolescents over 16 are more probable to
have a OSF who is very close to them.(Kuttler, La Greca et al. 1999) Older
adolescents are also expected to enjoy more when interacting with OSF.(Strough
and Covatto 2002) Another interesting research by Hartup and Stevens found that
having SSFs in childhood will forecast the romantic relationship later during
adolescence.(Hartup and Stevens 1997) Above all, SSF plays a important role in
early life span of individuals, but OSF gradually become more frequent as the
person grows older. There is an implication that OSF is taking the role of SSF in the
childhood period. SSF is also a preparation for the relationship growth of OSF.
Regarding that OSF is a potential beneficial component of mating process and
therefore reproductive success. It seems that SSF relates to evolutional success of
individual through the function of OSF
Essay On The Maze Runner
The Maze Runner
The Maze Runner is about a boy named Thomas that is deposited in a community
of boys after his memory is erased; soon learning they are all trapped in a maze.
Wes Ball directed the Maze Runner. It is an Action, Mystery, Sci fi movie. The
goal of the movie is to escape the Maze to complete the trials. Grievers are in the
maze to prevent the characters from making it to the end of the maze. There were
many heroic scenarios on the adventure to the end of the maze. Thomas by far is
the most heroic. He runs into the maze breaking the rules to save some people that
are not about to make it out in time. Thomas also go s out with Minho to find the
exit and tricks a griever into being stuck in between two walls closing and the
griever dies. After he kills the griever, he pulls of his arm and found a key. When
Thomas went to touch the griever Minho said, If you ain t scared... you ain t human

You are not allowed to leave the box in the middle of the maze because it is against
the rules if you are not a runner. The reason runners are only allowed to leave the
maze is because they are faster and in shape. They will be able to escape all of the
traps and obstacles the maze throws at them while grievers are chasing them. I
just...feel like I need to save everyone. To redeem myself (The Maze Runner). If a
griever gets you in the maze, the village looks at you as a dead man. They don t try
and help because they don t have a cure for the sting. They all surround you by the
maze door with polls and force you into the maze when the door closes. You were
not allowed to break the rules because that is how everyone has lived for the last
three years. Because they are still alive, they feel as if the rules is what kept them
alive. After breaking a rule, you are sentenced to death by being shoved into the
maze. You get lazy, you get sad. Start givin up. Plain and simple (The Maze
Criminalization Of Cannabis In Canada
In Canada, cannabis use became illegal in 1923 after the Act to Prohibit the
Improper Use of Opium and other Drugs added cannabis to the list of illicit
substances. Cannabis then became an illegal substance under the same category of
harder drugs such as cocaine and heroin, despite lack of scientific or criminal
correlations to suggest such categorization (CAMH, 2014). An increase in illicit drug
use in the 1960 s and 1970 s was met by greatly increased criminalization and the
associated individual and social costs. The strain on the courts, and the rising
numbers of otherwise law abiding youth being sentenced for recreational use of
cannabiscreated pressures for the liberalization of Canada s drug laws. As a result,

In R. v. Readhead (2008), the accused was charged with the possession of
marijuana and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and was
sentenced to a term of imprisonment of two and one half years. Readhead argued
that the sentencing judge erred in his decision and asked for a fairer sentence. The
British Columbia Court of Appeal stated that the sentence prescribed by the
sentencing judge is within the proper scope of his judgment but still reduced the
sentence to two years less a day. As pointed out by the British Columbia Court of
Appeal, Readhead s past experience with the law, in which he has three previous
charges for trafficking marijuana, did not deter or rehabilitate him in any way( R.
v. Readhead, 2008). In R. v. Evers (2011), the accused was charged with the
offences of unlawfully producing a controlled substance and possessing this
substance for the purposes of trafficking. However, despite Evers s lack of remorse
for producing marijuana and her explicitly stating that she intended to continue her
grow operation, the trial judge did not impose any jail time. The trial judge stated
that there was no point in imprisoning Evers as doing so would only make her a
martyr for the legalization of marijuana (R. v. Evers, 2011). Both of these cases
Essay On Informational Interview
Informational Interview Report
The person who I conducted my informational interview was Chang Wang, Esq. I
was acquainted with Mr. Chang Wang through a class he taught at the University
of Minnesota. Professor Wang is a man of many professions; he is a lawyer, a
professor, an actor and a writer. I could tell that he is extremely accomplished in
his many careers through the list of schools he has taught at, awards he has
received, the many licenses he s obtained, and the number of publications he has
authored. Because of his busy schedule, I contacted him a month before the
interview to solidify a schedule with him. I requested half an hour of his time, but
he was very generous and gave me over an hour of his company. I wanted to
interview Mr. Wang for my assignment because I always wanted to pick his brain and

he truly hopes for a better China with a rule of law . I think Mr. Wang intentionally
decided not to share the technicalities of work because he wanted to share the
bigger picture of his work. His approach of sharing the significance of his work
reminded me of the parable of the three stonecutters; how the first two stonecutters
only saw the individualistic means of their work and how the third stone cutter
embraced the broader vision of his work. I don t know if my future career will be

Gambling In The Elizabethan Era
Aside from sports, Elizabethans took pleasure in a wide variety of different
pastimes. They particularly enjoyed gaming and gambling. From taverns to inns,
and even the theatre, citizens gambled nearly everywhere. They gambled by
betting on certain games and sports. Card games included One Thirty, an earlier
form of Blackjack, and Ruff and Honors, a game played in groups of four. They
also played board games, such as chess and Alquerques, a strategy game similar to
Checkers. Moreover, Elizabethans reveled in betting on dice games and sport games.
They enjoyed various forms of entertainment as well. For example, jesters and

ruled the stage. Elizabethans had the option to either read plays at home or attend
a playhouse, which Shakespeare described as a wooden O , open to the sky, with
the stage at one side of it and galleries all around (Picard). Refreshments primarily
consisted on fruits and nuts. Most of the audience stood in front of the stage.
Because of the all male casts, male actors had to play female roles. Traveling from
place to place, actors did not use scenery or backdrops because props needed to fit
into the wagon and be carried on and off the stage. However, actors did have
sumptuous costumes made from the clothing of deceased, wealthy people. Plays
were performed only during the day, for there was no stage lighting except by
candles, which glinted on the gold lace and velvets of the costumes, and caused
frequent fires (Picard). Built in 1599 by Shakespeare s playing company, Lord
Chamberlain s Men, the Globe Theatre remains the one the most famous theatre, even

Later, relocating to Rome in 1498 Michelangelo career was in full swing when he
was commissioned to carve the sculpture now known today as Pieta which was a
statue of the Virgin Mary holding a lifeless Jesus in her lap after his crucifixion.
Returning to Florence Michelangelo had become somewhat popular throughout the

Essay on The Death Penalty
Capital Punishment
The Death Penalty
In the United States many crimes are committed every day, people killing another
person, raping innocent children. I strongly believe that people who committed a
crime should be punished and punished harshly and those who commit harm to
another person should die. The Capital Punishment is a controversial topic that affects
society as a whole and causes a great deal of disagreement. Capital punishment is the
government legally kills an individual as punishment for a serious crime. It is not
intended to inflict any physical pain or any torture; it is only another form of
punishment. Addressing the follow questions:

state with the second highest number of death row inmates in the nation. The crimes
that are punishable by death in Florida are first degree murder, felony murder, capital
drug trafficking, and capital sexual battery. Currently, the methods of execution
practiced are lethal injection and the electric chair. In lethal injection, there is a three
drug combination which consists of Sodium Pentothal (an anesthetic), Pancuronium
Bromide (a paralytic agent), and Potassium Chloride (stops the heart and causes
death). In electrocution, the inmate is strapped down to a chair while various cycles
of electrical currents differing in voltage and duration (500 2000 volts and up to 30
seconds) pass through the body damaging the internal organs and causing death.

scale. Due to the increase in usage of web services, it has become of prime
importance to design systems for effective web service recommendation. In our
project, we propose a system for effective web service recommendations
incorporating users preferences regarding quality and diversities amongst web
services. Users requirements are considered and mined from his usage history. Then
we find functional similarities using clustering techniques followed by applying a
ranking algorithm to list top k services. To discover high quality Web services, a
number of QoS models for Web services and QoS driven service selection
approaches have been proposed in the service computing field. In this system user
explicitly specifies his/her interests and QoS requirements, and submits them to the
service discovery system. Then the service discovery system matches the user s

institutions should focus campaigns for healthy living to reduce future healthcare
cost. The data that will be utilized to answer this business question will be the
percent of children ages ten to seventeen that are overweight or obese in each of the
fifty states. The states will then be categorized into their respective regions of East,

This information is however a great place to start to see if a region does in fact
tend to be more obese, or if it simply a County wide pandemic. If a region is found
to be more obese more data gathering could then be conducted to answer such
questions. Therefore as shown for this given data analysis the data gathering
methodology is advantageous because of its ease of use and presentation, and also
has a disadvantage of being to broad.
C1. Description of Analysis Technique The analysis technique that will be utilized to

the Cluster analysis is used to group people or things together into meaningful
clusters, in which these clusters share similar characteristics and differ from the other
clusters in which they are being compared to. The similar characteristics in this
analysis will be where they are regionally in the United States. By putting each state
into a cluster of other states within their respective regions it will become evident if
there is in fact a correlation between obesity and region in the Country. If this analysis

This left the Russian people isolated as they had little, if any means of income to
buy basic necessary items. Too make matters worse for both the Tsar and the
Russian people, little action was taken in aid of these inconveniences. Before the
war Moscow had been receiving 2200 railway wagons of grain per month in 1914;
however by Christmas 1916 this reduced to only 300. This therefore resulted in the
accumulative discontent of the Russian people which only made matters worse
for the Tsar as the likely hood of the occurrence of revolution was high. The lack of
political reform can accountably be taken in as one of the main reasons for the
outbreak of revolution in 1917. The union of zemstva provided medical facilities
for the army; however the government did not know how to incorporate them into
its own war effort. Moreover, the progressive Bloc called for a government of
public confidence in which the ministers would be responsible for the Duma.
However, Tsar Nicholas refused to listen to any of their demands, this resulted in
the ministers who campaigned for change and reform; were either dismissed or
resigned. Due to the fact that no reform was made, all the blame was directed to the
Nicholas. Reform was needed greatly at this time yet no reform occurred, this
accumulated the ever rising dissatisfaction of the Russian people. Furthermore, as a

Designing For Many Architects And Designers
Designing for people is a challenge for many architects and designers. The idea of
creating something innovative, beautiful or in this case, sculptural, which stands the
test of time, is ideal for many designers. But what happens when a building doesn t
meet the needs of its occupants? What happens when, what is considered, a
magnificent architectural feat begins to leak, grow mold and become a safety hazard?
The Ray and Maria Stata Center for Computer, Information and Intelligence Sciences
(also referred to as Building 32) is housed on the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology s (MIT) historic Building 20 site. Between 1946 and 1948, Building 20
functioned primarily as a temporary facility specifically for wartime outdoor training
exercises, and as a research laboratory for war related innovations. Building 20
continued to function as a research facility until its 1998 demolition. Architect, Frank
Gehry was selected, from a pool of sixteen firms, to design the new building after
funding became available through a donation from Ray and Maria Stata in 1998. The
Institute sought a daring design that set them a part and portrayed the school as the
best. The criteria initially established by MIT in 1989 proposed buildings that
wrapped around the exterior of the site, opening the interior space to the campus. This
didn t quite match Gehry s vision. Instead, Gehry challenged MIT s traditional bar
buildings by dividing the building mass into clusters, connecting the interiors
Music Amoral Research Paper
Is music amoral?
We as Christians will ask or wonder at some point in our life if music is amoral or
not. Is music amoral? If something is to be amoral, that means there is no possibility
of it being right or wrong; it means to be neutral. So is music amoral?
Many CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) artists will say that there is no right
or wrong in music, therefore music cannot be good or bad for a Christian. These
contemporary artists will argue that if the lyrics are okay then it doesn t matter
whether or not the way it sounds is right or wrong. This is not right! Since we as
Christians know that there is certainly a difference between rights and wrong, we
know that must mean good music and evil music do exist. If music has a poppy beat
that will make me want to dance or go against Christ then that music is not God
honoring. If a song has good lyrics but a bad sound, then that is mixing the world

God should respond to the music we make today the same way he did in II
Chronicles. God was pleased. Pleasing God through the music we make today will
not be achieved through songs that are filled with simple, shallow and meaningless
lyrics.
So in conclusion, the answer to my beginning question is no. Music is not amoral.
There is certainly music that is good and there is music that is evil. We as
Christians should strive to listen to and make music that is only glorifying to God
in the highest way possible. The entire reasoning for God s creation of music was to
bring praise to Him. Psalm 19:14, Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of
my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my
Evolution Of Photography

Not many people know how photography started, and nobody knows who thought of

The good things that come out of photography come from special moments, like
capturing a blind man see for the first time in over thirty years, or a little boy being
baptized in a Muslim country. There are also very bad things about photography.
People tend to abuse their right to use cameras. Many people take inappropriate
pictures and film inappropriate videos. For example: people film pornography,
which is a sin. Matthew 5:27 28 states You have heard that it was said, You shall
not commit adultery ; 28 but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to
lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. (Matthew 5:27
28) also since pornography is a sin, Titus 3:1 7 states; Remind them to be
submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good
work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect

Stereotypes In Family Guy
When people think of domestic jobs they think of jobs that give low pay, are labor
intensive, have no benefits, require no degree work to carry out, and are worked by
minorities. While these perceptions for the most part are true; the negative stigma
attached to them is wrong as well as the assumption that only minorities are the ones
who work them. Another negative portrayal of Mexicans displayed by the media is
that Mexicans only work domestic jobs, but that is not the reality. In the show Family
Guywhere they too make fun of ethnic groups regarding their stereotypes they
portrays a Mexican woman named Consuela who is the housekeeper of the Griffins

The image of Consuela shown as the typical Mexican housemaid is one with many
negative repercussions. She is shown on many occasions portraying these stereotypes
in many other episodes as well. In an article called Mexican Immigrants in the United
States the Migration Policy Institute gathered information from the U.S. Census
Bureau to show the occupation of jobs that Mexicans have. For the most part
Mexicans do have a large portion of their population working in service occupations.
Aside from that Mexicans do work in jobs of management, and business which are
all jobs that take a higher level of education to obtain. Although the percentage of
Mexicans occupying these jobs is low the assumption and stereotyping of all
Mexicans assuming they work domestic jobs is something that should not be done
because it diminishes the accomplishments of the Mexicans who have obtained those
higher paying jobs through hard work. Instead of stereotyping Mexicans by this
misconception we should not be judgmental towards them, and be able to recognize
their accomplishments of being able to obtain higher paying jobs and breaking that
Intelligent Traffic Surveillance System Essay
Abstract Due to the traffic accidents over the last few years; the development of
surveillance systems with multifunctional techniques has received increasing
attention. The use of the smart camera is one solution to solve the traffic problems,
Smart cameras are cameras that can perform tasks far beyond simply taking photos
and recording videos. Intelligent Traffic Surveillance System (ITSS) is used to
monitor the roads in preventing accidents at the same time finding what causes the
accidents. This is done by implementing some image vision protocols as that of
Gaussian and Canny. This paper will discuss about the cameravideo surveillance
capabilities of tracking across different and varied road environments including

difficulties lie in:
Vehicles are a non rigid object. In other words, the shape and size of vehicles vary
greatly, and therefore the models of vehicles are much more complex than that of
others objects.
In the case of the clutter background. It does not matter if we are analyzing images
from a typical city or from a country traffic environment or highways; the
background formed by trees, wire poles, and billboards is much cluttered. Most of
these backgrounds can be taken for vehicles, due to their similar shapes.
Illumination and weather conditions vary greatly. The on vehicle vision systems must
be able to deal with the different illumination conditions [2].
One of the goals is to develop a system that can be used to Monitor the highways and
prevent accidents by implementing an algorithm program in OpenCV (IntelВ® open
source computer vision library), Real time tracking objects will be achieved by using
a smart camera which captures the frames and sends the image signals to the main
server
The system will be a replacement of human for triggering alarms which if something
dangerous has happened or potential horrific scenario (potential accidents) is about to
happen. In general this project consists of a smart camera system interconnected with
wireless technology for traffic surveillance which
The American Imperialism Essay
After the civil war, United States took a turn that led them to solidify as the world
power. From the late 1800s, as the US began to collect power through Cuba, Hawaii,
and the Philippines, debate arose among historians about American imperialism and
its behavior. Historians such as William A. Williams, Arthur Schlesinger, and Stephen
Kinzer provides their own vision and how America ought to be through ideas centered
around economics, power, and racial superiority.
Economics becomes a large factor in the American imperialism; but more specifically
that expansion in foreign markets is a vital part in the growth of America. As
historian Charles Beard puts it, [it] is indispensable to the prosperity of American

The United States Government ( Usg ) And Department Of...
East Asia continues to present a broad spectrum of opportunities and challenges to
the United States, our allies, and partners. The United States Government (USG) and
Department of Defense (DoD) continues to work closely with its allies and partners
to build relationships and capacity vital to advancing U.S. national interests of
security, prosperity, international order, and the promotion of universal values. The
most profound and alarming trend within the East Asia region over the past several
years is the increasing belligerence and defiance of the Kim Jung un regime of North
Korea. The United Statesregards the coercive activities by North Korea, in particular
its pursuit of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and ballistic missile capabilities,
to comprise the most urgent security threat in the region. The USG is fully
committed to maintaining peace throughout the Korean Peninsula by effectively
working with our allies and other regional states to deter and defend against North
Korean military provocations, weapons proliferation, and illicit trafficking; and to
support enforcement of international sanctions restricting North Korean arms trade
and other prohibited activities.
In order to protect and advance U.S. national interests, while operating within the
increasingly volatile environment on the Korean Peninsula, the United States must
remain vigilant in deterring activities by the Kim Jung un regime that threaten U.S.
interests. Additionally, the DoD must remain

It Was 2045 And World War II
It was 2045 and world war III had been in play for almost five years now. It was the

Can Video Games Be Considered Art
Can Video Games Be Considered Art
Although video games are often associated with being there just for fun and not real
quality entertainment, some people consider video games to be an art. Video games
offer many different combinations of arts. They also involve using as much creative
work as other forms of art. Video games can be inspiring, teach valuable lessons, and
bring out strong emotions. There is no question that video games are art.
Video games have a lot of different forms of art in them. They feature music, visuals,

Video games are indeed art. They combine multiple art factors. It takes quite a bit of

The Election Process Of A Functionalist
1.In the election process, a functionalist would see it a process which contains
many parts working together. A functionalist would describe is as a process which
is made up of many other small processes. As a functionalist, he would be
concerned about the function of each small part of the election process rather than
what the election process seeks to accomplish. A conflict theorist would see the
election process as a struggle between the poor and the rich. He would look at the
process in terms of how it will benefit either group. A symbolic integrationist would
describe it as a social process whereby everyone in the society comes together for
one common good. A critical theorist would want to know whether it has any good.
He will criticize the process and probably describe it as a process which promises
to care for the people but it never helps anyone. 2.The presence of other people
affects the behavior of an individual. As the group changes in size the social
interactions change. Dyads and triads are the smallest. The people in these small
groups have intense interaction .It is more stable than the other social groups. When
the group becomes big an organization or a community is formed. The way it
operates changes. The interaction is less intense as people have attention from
different people. At this level, the need for a leader emerges. 3.In the philosophy of
money, Simmel talked about money and value. He believed that we created value by
making things then we

What it takes to summarize A P A P is an amazing piece of literature, it captivates
the thoughts and action of a young man challenging his place in life. The author
Mr. John Updike really perpetuates the growth of a young man though his story.
Updike uses very descriptive language in the story to insure the reader understands
every detail, though sometimes those details go over there heads, which makes the
reader read again to understand. Sammy could even be seen as an everyman
because of his youth and relatable first job. The protagonist (Sammy), will
experience a coming of age situation. Being young and naive, ironically Sammy
finds out what the world has in store for him. The situation is set in motion as the
three girls walk into the store. When Sammy spots the girls he loses all sense of

Compare Gatsby And Blanche Dubois
Jay Gatsby, the mysterious millionaire from The Great Gatsby by F. Scott
Fitzgerald, and Blanche DuBois, the heroine in A Streetcar Named Desire by
Tennessee Williams, seem to represent two different kinds of protagonists. While
they both deal in illusions, Gatsby and Blanche are significantly different people,
and their illusions stem from different motives. Gatsby creates illusions that
present an idealized personal lifestyle, hiding the impracticality of his dreams. He
already has wealth, enough to survive, but he wants more. Therefore, he portrays
that he is a man who can provide anything to his ideal love, Daisy through ways
such as showing her his house; he wants to lure her with the glamour of his wealth
in order to complete his life. Blanche, however, is poor and cannot provide for
herself, so she creates illusions to escape the bleak reality she is trapped in and
hide the fact that she is helpless. Blanche s motives for hiding behind her illusions
are more practical; it is unlikely that any man would provide for her, and let her
breathe as Blanche describes to Stella, if he knew about her sexual promiscuity
(85). But she also is able to create a magical world for herself to hide that she is
broken and helpless and what she is doing is merely practical. She wants to believe
that what she is doing is noble and fulfilling and transcends an animalistic relationship
like Stanley s and Stella s. Despite the difference in their motives of their illusions,
both Gatsby
How Does Kawabata Use Shame In Thousand Cranes
In Kawabata s Thousand Cranes, identity becomes inescapable and transiently shared
across generations and people, rather than belonging uniquely to individuals. The
lingering presence of Mr. Mitani after his death reminds Kikuji of all the moral
inadequacies Mitani possessed. As he begins to exhibit these inadequacies himself,
Kikuji attempts to hide his imperfections by intoxicating himself and engaging in
lustful affairs, but ultimately the cycle of shame continues. Ignoring or hiding from
the world is not a sufficient escape from the shame associated with one s identity. I
will argue that Kawabata uses the art of subtle cues in order to convey that shame can
be transferred, and shame must be confronted directly to overcome vulnerabilities...

Identity is connected to the shame of a character because they continuously repeat the
cycle of disgraceful actions like their predecessors. The identity determines what
shameful act a character will engage in, and whether they will acknowledge or ignore
their shame. To examine parallelisms of behavioral patterns within the characters, the
Ota women must be compared to the Mitani men. The sins of the father become the
sins of the son when Mrs. Ota pursues Kikuji in an attempt to relive the past (33).
Mitani and Kikuji both focus on their pleasures more than their obligations to society,
likewise they both have affairs with Ota women as a sexual outlet to fulfill their
pleasures, and never acknowledge their affairs as shameful. Rather than becoming
overcome with guilt from unfulfilled obligations to society, the Mitani men become
charmed by the bodily and emotional warmth of Mrs. Ota (33). Their dismissal of
shame functions to strengthen their carnal desires towards the Ota women. The Ota
women differ from the Mitani men in how they respond to shameful acts,
consequently they are overcome with their shame to the point it consumes them.
Both Ota women crumble from the idea that they are preventing Kikuji from marrying

he uses his passion for beans to express his emotion. These emotions are always
emotions of joy. Heinz also uses real life situations to relate to the audience. For
example, when his kids would sit alone on the dining table and eat sloppily. Geoff
put in the effort to make a can of beans that would not be spilled once eaten in a
sloppily manner. Once Geoff s boy ate the bean filled sandwich and saw that there
was no mess. He decided to sit at the dining table with the family. Heinz used this
scene specifically to symbolize that the can of beans brought Geoff s family
together. Expressing signs of joy as they ate on the dining table. Symbolism could
also be found when Geoff s wife was giving birth. The babies were portrayed as two
beans inside their mother s stomach. Instead of having two embryos. That could also
show how the beans brought happiness through Geoff and his wife s life through
ways that are very different from the cans of beans that were portrayed throughout the
advertisement. By using symbolism in their ad. Heinz successfully related to a wide

Easyjet s critical success factor is built around its leading market position in European
convenient airports, low fares, and exceptional customer orientated services.
However, the successful growth of EasyJet has brought it into direct competition with
Legacy Carriers and similar Low Cost Airlines.
This Report has been divided into three sections, the first section analyses the
business model using the four box framework: Customer Value Proposition, Profit
Formula, Key resources and Key processes. Easyjet s customer value proposition is
based on providing low fares with customer orientated services using key resources
and processes such as standardized fleets and online booking systems to maintain its
cost structure which is a crucial component of its profit formula. Together with this,
to maximise revenue, a number of methods such as sophisticated yield management
techniques are in place.
The second section analyses the dependencies and constraints of the business model.
Easyjet s business continuity to an extent depends on IT systems, Processes at the
London Luton Airport and
Markets where customers value low price and quality at the same time.
Macroeconomic activities outside its control such as industry consolidation,
weakened consumer confidence, inflationary pressure, competition, regulatory
intervention, airport charges, and the rising cost of fuel are the constraints that
disrupt the viability of their business model.

`` The Merchant Of Venice `` By William Shakespeare
Risk is a situation that involves the possibility of exposure to dangers. Risks exist
everywhere, even the most minute of actions can place someone in jeopardy. It is
an inescapable labyrinth that plagues the lives of all ever since humanity s first
existence. Yet it,s double edged sword like characteristics of also providing
opportunities and gains keeps many enthralled in it. In William Shakespeare s The
Merchant of Venice, Antonio, a protagonist, gives himself over to a life threatening
contract with the villain, Shylockthe Jew, in order to provide the means for one of
Antonio s friend the opportunity to woo a lady. Over the course of the play, various
risky opportunities and events also expose other relationships as means of satisfying
their wants, although not all their outcomes are favourable. Risk is the root cause of
rewards and punishments in The Merchant of Venice. This is seen between the play
s rivals, such as Antonio and Shylock. Also is seen between lovers, such as Bassanio
and Portia. It is seen again between fathers and children, such as Shylock and Jessica.
The outcomes of the rivals plot, namely the struggles between Antonio and Shylock,
were greatly influenced by the partaking of risks. One of the risks taken by the
main pair of rivals is Shylock employing a malevolent bond purposed with ending
the life of Antonio. Shylock demands that he will have [his] bond; speak not against
[his] bond:/ [he has] sworn an oath that [he] will have [his] bond.
Contact Movie Analysis
Contact
Based on the previous Carl Sagan s novel about an adolescent scientist s
determinations to make Contact with life itself beyond just our universe. The most
famous quote that Sagan tells the story of this movie is that there is billions and
billions of stars up there . The fascinating science fiction film/thriller of that century,
Contact, combines many concepts that do not usually go together or are thought
about in relation to each other. That being the concept of faith, politics, and most
importantly science. This movie was released on July 11th, 1997 by producers
Robert Zemeciks and Steve Starkey. Dr.Ellie Arroway played by Jodie Foster rushes
to translate a message that they think could be coming from the Vegastar system.
When contact at first happens, Dr.Ellie Arroway communicates with the
constricting National Security Advisor Kitz who is played by James Woods. After
this unravels, they go in to see the possible problems with occurrence of this event.
An out breaking message is discovered in the signal, but the question is will
Arroway be the only one to be able to solve it or will there be more involved to help
including theory s and arguments? Science versus religion is one of the main topics
and many topics of this movie which I can agree on as I watched this thriller. Ellie
doesn t believe in god and doesn t have a set religion and Palmer does so they clash
personalities a lot throughout Contact. I took interest in one character while watching
Contact.
Difference Between School Life And College Life
An Essay on School Life and College Life
There is a great deal of difference between school life and college life. School life is
a life of restrictions and control, a life in which the student has to be accountable for
his daily work to his teachers and his guardian. But a college student, of the other
hand, enjoys much greater freedom from control and supervision; he is, to a very
large extent, the master of his own destiny. It lies with him to make it or mar it.
At school the students has to be in attendance for fixed hours every day. He has to
leave home at ten or eleven and return at four at college, however, the hours of
attendance very. Sometimes, a college student has hardly time in the morning to
gulp his food; at others, he has enough time to lounge about for a few minutes after
a leisurely meal. On some days he returns early from college; or others, it is late
evening by the time he gets back home. He has ample time at his disposal to use,
abuse, or misuse.
At school the student has to prepare his daily lessons and may be taken to task for
what he has left undone. But at college he can do his lessons daily, or not at all, as
fancy may please or conscience may dictate. He is left to his own resources; he
must understand his difficulties, and find out ways and means to remove them. He
must, for the most part, depend upon himself, and take the help of a friend or a
teacher only as his means and circumstances permit.in one respect however, school
life is more joyous then college life.
A student can run about and exercise his limbs in school more vigorously then at
college. The sight of boys shouting and running down the staircase or the corridors
or in the school quadrangle is something that one will seldom find in a college.
College boys are either boisterous and rowdy, or grave and decorous. They are
must behave as grown up people. Of course, it the college happens to have its
playgrounds, they can go there after college hours and take part in regular games.
Nowadays every college has gymnasium to help student s build the body beautiful . A
college, in other words, many not permit uproarious merriment, but it often gives
larger opportunities for organized games sports.
Another respect in which
How Did Catholic Church Sacred Music Influence
Medieval...
Between the back drop of the end of the Roman Empire and of closing of the Dark
Ages the Roman Catholic Church had rose to pre eminence to fill the governing
roles in medieval society by direct control or through influence. This influence had
grown to dominate nearly every walk of life of the time. With clergy the most literate
people of the time the nobility had to depend on them as counsel. During 450 1450
AD basic traditions of western culture in both art and music had formed. Through the
guidance of the Church sacred music, Gregorian chant had become the most common
in Europe.
A very important role of the church was as a patron of the arts. In music nearly all
composers and singers were priests within the churches and monasteries. Singing
had become to play a very important role within the Church. Inspired liturgical
music was incorporated into the Mass as Ordinary and Propers sung in Latin.
Women of the time were not allowed to sing in public places like a church unless
they were members of a convent. However, a notable woman composer of Gregorian
chant was Hildegard von Bigen O.S.B. Having lived her life as a Benedictine nun she
was very talented in many disciplines including medicine. But her compositions such
as Ordo Virtutum (Play of the Virtues) are significant in the history of sacred music.

Calling Vs. Texting Appropriate Communication When
Phone...
Two of the most common ways to communicate in today s age are calling and texting.
There are many advantages and disadvantages to these modern communication
methods. Phone calls can help both communicators to better understand the
conversation, but can be very public to people standing nearby. On the other hand,
texting is more discreet in public, but texts can make it harder to decipher the
meaning behind the words. Where one option lacks, the other provides for your
needs, and vice versa.
Texts have many advantages, as well as disadvantages. The benefits of texting include
quick conversations when time is scarce, and the ability for a reserved person to

Some of the benefits of calling include being more suitable for long conversations, as
well as making sure the other person receives the message. Calling is more
appropriate for long or complex conversations because lengthy and complicated
ideas are not as easy to convey with typed words. Conversation can better move
around the topic, and be better explained, when spoken words are used to get the
ideas across. Furthermore, when a telephone call is made, it can be ensured that
the intended person is the one to receive the message. This does not always work
with texting. No texted reply from the other person could either mean that they
didn t receive the information, or that they simply didn t feel the need to respond.
When calling, the caller will know that the answerer received the message once the
phone is picked up. If the phone is not picked up, the caller will know for certain
that their message was not delivered. One of the hindrances of calling is the chance
of being overheard. When words are said aloud, anyone within earshot could hear
the conversation. This can be a problem when the conversation is private, whether
for personal or business reasons. The examples listed here are just a few of the many
advantages and disadvantages of

says many years ago researchers showed that women who walked sluggishy with
eyes on the ground, as if carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, were
much more likely to be mugged than those who walked briskly and purposely with
hair erect . This paragraph show us that a posture makes a bad impression but we
can t prove that posture was at fault. The article show us how weight forces us to

Recognizing The Benefits Of Not Only A Diverse Workforce,
Recognizing the benefits of not only a diverse workforce, but a diverse culture has
been an issue for us since the founding of this nation. We ve seen from the beginning
how intolerance and bigotry was present in a society which proclaimed that all men
are created equal by decree. Our society has struggled with the inclusion of anyone
into our culturewho did not fit the mold of we saw was the norm simply because it
was different. This brief discussion focuses on how those differences can be
harnessed to produce a more productive workforce making the proclamation that all
men are really equal come true. I ll begin by talking about the importance of having
people with different lifestyles included in our workforce. Then I ll discuss... Show

People will be more apt to spend their money more comfortably with them
(Mayhew, 2017). There are intangible benefits to maintaining a robust diversity
policy starting with the way people are able to engage in interpersonal
relationships in the workplace. Individuals will always have some kind of conflict
in the workplace. How people deal with that conflict will determine the
effectiveness of their overall performance. The more diverse an organization is has
a direct correlation to how well people are able to deal with conflict and adversity.
The degree in which we re able to resolve interpersonal conflict directly affects
employee productivity. This high level interaction also builds the mutual respect we
have for each other. When people are able to see and recognize each other s
differences while working through conflict as it arises, builds respect also allowing
an increase in overall productivity (Mayhew, 2017).
Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Workforce A diverse workforce is required to be
successful in today s business market. People want to be a part of an organization
which embraces diversity at all levels and tiers of a company not just at the entry or
middle management. One of the ways to retain a diverse workforce is to ensure
people can see that diversity at every level not just in the new location where they
were just hired. Seeing this will allow a future vision of upward mobility unhindered
by barriers commonly
The Nigerian Stock Market and Its Impact on the Economy
CHAPTER ONE
OVERVIEW
Nigeria, like many other African countries, was created from a multi ethnic, socially
and culturally diverse people, situated between the Equator and the tropic of cancer,
its climate and vegetation can afford the growth of many tropical commodities such
as cocoa, groundnuts, palm produce and rubber. Starting from a low technological
base after political independence in 1960, the country embarked on the arduous task
of building a state with one identity by integrating the different ethnicities and
transforming the barter economy into financial exchange economy. The country
provided infrastructure and social amenities for a very young population. Over the
years, policies were pursued in order to achieve the goal of a ... Show more content on

Fakiyesi, O.M. in his paper also said that the poor in Nigeria have limited access to
savings and credit facilities, good roads, pipe borne water, innovative technology and
low output markets. They are predominantly in subsistence agriculture and in petty
trading, utilising traditional input. This is why the role of the capital market as agent
of growth and development is very important, thus this role has been subject of
concern and has drawn comments from different fora. It is under this background this
study was proposed, to further clarify the symbiotic relationship between the capital
market and economic development.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Economic advancement and allocation of the aggregate investment in an economy
for production of goods and services are too prominent factors in our national
development. The importance of capital market can be ascertained from the
increasing emphasis and recognition accorded to investment as veritable instruments
of development by policy makers in Nigeria and the world over.
Capital mobilisation and allocation are very essential if the regular features of poor
infrastructural facilities (i.e. bad roads/poor road networks, lack of electricity, water,
indecent accommodation, inadequate educational institutions, lack of health centres

Aeneas, The Titular Hero Of Virgil s Aeneid
Aeneas, the titular hero of Virgil s Aeneid, is the flawed Trojan hero sent on a
divine quest to found the new Troy and establish the basis for the Roman Empire.
Along this journey, he is pushed to his limits both mentally and physically. This
strain shows him to be a deeply Roman hero, especially in the values that come
forward in his actions and response to tragedy. He embodies two major Roman
values: pietas and respect for family, both past and future.
One of the most important values that Aeneas embodies is pietas. Pietas is a nigh
untranslatable word that means great devotion and piety, the two words Lombardo
uses most in his translation of the Aeneid to indicate this value. Randall Ganiban, in
his introduction to the Aeneid states that Aeneas is placed in such a difficult
position because of his pietas his duty towards his family, state, and the gods
(Ganiban, p.15). Aeneas struggles to balance his sense of duty towards all three and
the fact that despite his immortal parentage, he is simply a human man with the
weight of the world on his shoulders. He possesses an almost supernatural sense of
duty, which is why it is very strange that he finds some of his strongest opposition in
the form of the divine. Juno, queen of the gods, violently opposes Aeneas quest for
Rome. This is marked as strange by Virgil: That she forced a man of faultless
devotion / To endure so much hardship (Aen. 1.14 15, Lombardo). Aeneas is known
throughout the land for his

  • 1. Example Of Interview Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of "Example of Interview Essay" can be both challenging and rewarding. The intricacy lies in the delicate balance between presenting the interviewee's thoughts coherently and weaving them into a compelling narrative. The process involves meticulous planning, thoughtful questioning, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from the interview. To commence, one must meticulously prepare for the interview itself, researching the interviewee's background and crafting questions that not only elicit insightful responses but also contribute to a well-rounded portrayal. The actual interview can be an intricate dance, requiring keen listening skills and the ability to adapt questions on the fly based on the interviewee's responses. Transcribing and organizing the collected information is another hurdle. The essay should have a clear structure, introducing the interviewee and the context, followed by a smooth transition into the main discussion. Balancing direct quotes with paraphrased content can be challenging, aiming to preserve the interviewee's voice while ensuring the essay flows naturally. Moreover, weaving a cohesive narrative demands a keen understanding of the interviewee's perspective and the overarching theme of the essay. Skillful integration of personal insights, reflections, and contextual information can elevate the essay from a mere transcript to a compelling piece of storytelling. The difficulty intensifies when attempting to strike a balance between objectivity and subjectivity. Maintaining the authenticity of the interviewee's voice while infusing the essay with the writer's perspective can be a delicate task, requiring finesse in language and narrative construction. In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of an interview is a multi-faceted endeavor. It involves meticulous preparation, adept interviewing skills, and the ability to transform raw conversations into a coherent and engaging narrative. Success in this task is not only measured by the accurate portrayal of the interviewee but also by the artful storytelling that captures the reader's attention. Similar essays, and assistance in crafting them, can be sought through platforms like HelpWriting.net, where a range of writing services is available to meet diverse needs. • 2. The Core Values Of Benevolence In The Analects And The Bible Kindness is one of the core values of humanity and civilization. A man with kindness is spontaneously capable of loving, and love is the foundation of almost every relationship, an untiring pursuit and unceasing desire of people. The Analects and the Bible are the two most influential classics in China and the western society. The Analects looks at life from the angle of humannature while the Bible uses religious thinking to explain the world and humanity. As the source of the development of the East and the West, the Christian culture and the Confucian culture have common features in many aspects. Therefore as the essences of the cultures, the two classics reflect the same values, which are kindness and love. The values are still remarkable ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One of the most important ideas the Bible delivers is that God loves all human and all other creatures. Therefore Christianity advocates that people should follow the example of God, love him back and love each other like siblings. People should learn from the Holy Spirit because the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness ( ( removed HTML ) 5:22 23). The foundation of Christian love is different from Confucius love. It is not family oriented, which means blood ties are not that important. God wants all people to enjoy the love of brothers and sisters they are actual family. According to the Bible, when people told Jesus that his mother and brothers were outside looking for him, he responded that whoever did God s will was his brother and sister and mother ( ( removed HTML ) 3:32 35). Christian love has no difference between each person and no closeness or social class difference, it is equally given to every living being on earth. However, the ultimate purpose of Christian love is the same as Confucius benevolence, which is achieving universal love for all. When a law expert Pharisee tested Jesus by asking him the greatest commandment in the Law, Jesus replied that first love God with one s soul, heart and mind, and then love the neighbors as oneself ( ( removed HTML ) 22:34 40) The two commandments of love are the general

The situation could be totally different if it happens in a cartoon on the screen. The Bare Bears is such a story about humanised bears in human society, created by Daniel Chong. The main characters are three bears as indicated in the title. They are grizzly, panda and ice bear. The grizzly is always active and enthusiastic on making friends, whereas Panda is like a normal geek, obsessed with his phone all day long. • 5. Criminalization Of Cannabis In Canada In Canada, cannabis use became illegal in 1923 after the Act to Prohibit the Improper Use of Opium and other Drugs added cannabis to the list of illicit substances. Cannabis then became an illegal substance under the same category of harder drugs such as cocaine and heroin, despite lack of scientific or criminal correlations to suggest such categorization (CAMH, 2014). An increase in illicit drug use in the 1960 s and 1970 s was met by greatly increased criminalization and the associated individual and social costs. The strain on the courts, and the rising numbers of otherwise law abiding youth being sentenced for recreational use of cannabiscreated pressures for the liberalization of Canada s drug laws. Readhead (2008), the accused was charged with the possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of two and one half years. Readhead argued that the sentencing judge erred in his decision and asked for a fairer sentence. The British Columbia Court of Appeal stated that the sentence prescribed by the sentencing judge is within the proper scope of his judgment but still reduced the sentence to two years less a day. As pointed out by the British Columbia Court of Appeal, Readhead s past experience with the law, in which he has three previous charges for trafficking marijuana, did not deter or rehabilitate him in any way( R. v. Readhead, 2008). In R. v. Evers (2011), the accused was charged with the offences of unlawfully producing a controlled substance and possessing this substance for the purposes of trafficking. However, despite Evers s lack of remorse for producing marijuana and her explicitly stating that she intended to continue her grow operation, the trial judge did not impose any jail time. The trial judge stated that there was no point in imprisoning Evers as doing so would only make her a martyr for the legalization of marijuana (R. v. Evers, 2011). Both of these cases

Due to the increase in usage of web services, it has become of prime importance to design systems for effective web service recommendation. In our project, we propose a system for effective web service recommendations incorporating users preferences regarding quality and diversities amongst web services. Users requirements are considered and mined from his usage history. Then we find functional similarities using clustering techniques followed by applying a ranking algorithm to list top k services. To discover high quality Web services, a number of QoS models for Web services and QoS driven service selection approaches have been proposed in the service computing field. In this system user explicitly specifies his/her interests and QoS requirements, and submits them to the service discovery system. The Ray and Maria Stata Center for Computer, Information and Intelligence Sciences (also referred to as Building 32) is housed on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology s (MIT) historic Building 20 site. Architect, Frank Gehry was selected, from a pool of sixteen firms, to design the new building after funding became available through a donation from Ray and Maria Stata in 1998. The Institute sought a daring design that set them a part and portrayed the school as the best. The criteria initially established by MIT in 1989 proposed buildings that wrapped around the exterior of the site, opening the interior space to the campus. This didn t quite match Gehry s vision. Instead, Gehry challenged MIT s traditional bar buildings by dividing the building mass into clusters, connecting the interiors

He will criticize the process and probably describe it as a process which promises to care for the people but it never helps anyone. 2.The presence of other people affects the behavior of an individual. As the group changes in size the social interactions change. Dyads and triads are the smallest. The people in these small groups have intense interaction .It is more stable than the other social groups. When the group becomes big an organization or a community is formed. The way it operates changes. The interaction is less intense as people have attention from different people. At this level, the need for a leader emerges. 3.In the philosophy of money, Simmel talked about money and value. He believed that we created value by making things then we

  • 29. Compare Gatsby And Blanche Dubois Jay Gatsby, the mysterious millionaire from The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Blanche DuBois, the heroine in A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, seem to represent two different kinds of protagonists. While they both deal in illusions, Gatsby and Blanche are significantly different people, and their illusions stem from different motives. Gatsby creates illusions that present an idealized personal lifestyle, hiding the impracticality of his dreams. He already has wealth, enough to survive, but he wants more. Therefore, he portrays that he is a man who can provide anything to his ideal love, Daisy through ways such as showing her his house; he wants to lure her with the glamour of his wealth in order to complete his life. Blanche, however, is poor and cannot provide for herself, so she creates illusions to escape the bleak reality she is trapped in and hide the fact that she is helpless. Blanche s motives for hiding behind her illusions are more practical; it is unlikely that any man would provide for her, and let her breathe as Blanche describes to Stella, if he knew about her sexual promiscuity (85). But she also is able to create a magical world for herself to hide that she is broken and helpless and what she is doing is merely practical. She wants to believe that what she is doing is noble and fulfilling and transcends an animalistic relationship like Stanley s and Stella s. Despite the difference in their motives of their illusions, both Gatsby
  • 30. How Does Kawabata Use Shame In Thousand Cranes In Kawabata s Thousand Cranes, identity becomes inescapable and transiently shared across generations and people, rather than belonging uniquely to individuals. The lingering presence of Mr. Mitani after his death reminds Kikuji of all the moral inadequacies Mitani possessed. As he begins to exhibit these inadequacies himself, Kikuji attempts to hide his imperfections by intoxicating himself and engaging in lustful affairs, but ultimately the cycle of shame continues. Ignoring or hiding from the world is not a sufficient escape from the shame associated with one s identity. I will argue that Kawabata uses the art of subtle cues in order to convey that shame can be transferred, and shame must be confronted directly to overcome vulnerabilities... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Identity is connected to the shame of a character because they continuously repeat the cycle of disgraceful actions like their predecessors. The identity determines what shameful act a character will engage in, and whether they will acknowledge or ignore their shame. To examine parallelisms of behavioral patterns within the characters, the Ota women must be compared to the Mitani men. The sins of the father become the sins of the son when Mrs. Ota pursues Kikuji in an attempt to relive the past (33). Mitani and Kikuji both focus on their pleasures more than their obligations to society, likewise they both have affairs with Ota women as a sexual outlet to fulfill their pleasures, and never acknowledge their affairs as shameful. Rather than becoming overcome with guilt from unfulfilled obligations to society, the Mitani men become charmed by the bodily and emotional warmth of Mrs. Ota (33). Their dismissal of shame functions to strengthen their carnal desires towards the Ota women. The Ota women differ from the Mitani men in how they respond to shameful acts, consequently they are overcome with their shame to the point it consumes them. Both Ota women crumble from the idea that they are preventing Kikuji from marrying

Heinz also uses real life situations to relate to the audience. For example, when his kids would sit alone on the dining table and eat sloppily. • 35. Difference Between School Life And College Life An Essay on School Life and College Life There is a great deal of difference between school life and college life. School life is a life of restrictions and control, a life in which the student has to be accountable for his daily work to his teachers and his guardian. But a college student, of the other hand, enjoys much greater freedom from control and supervision; he is, to a very large extent, the master of his own destiny. It lies with him to make it or mar it. At school the students has to be in attendance for fixed hours every day. He has to leave home at ten or eleven and return at four at college, however, the hours of attendance very. Sometimes, a college student has hardly time in the morning to gulp his food; at others, he has enough time to lounge about for a few minutes after a leisurely meal. On some days he returns early from college; or others, it is late evening by the time he gets back home. He has ample time at his disposal to use, abuse, or misuse. At school the student has to prepare his daily lessons and may be taken to task for what he has left undone. But at college he can do his lessons daily, or not at all, as fancy may please or conscience may dictate. He is left to his own resources; he must understand his difficulties, and find out ways and means to remove them. He must, for the most part, depend upon himself, and take the help of a friend or a teacher only as his means and circumstances permit.in one respect however, school life is more joyous then college life. A student can run about and exercise his limbs in school more vigorously then at college. The sight of boys shouting and running down the staircase or the corridors or in the school quadrangle is something that one will seldom find in a college. College boys are either boisterous and rowdy, or grave and decorous. They are must behave as grown up people. Of course, it the college happens to have its playgrounds, they can go there after college hours and take part in regular games. Nowadays every college has gymnasium to help student s build the body beautiful . A college, in other words, many not permit uproarious merriment, but it often gives larger opportunities for organized games sports. Another respect in which

Some of the benefits of calling include being more suitable for long conversations, as well as making sure the other person receives the message. Calling is more appropriate for long or complex conversations because lengthy and complicated ideas are not as easy to convey with typed words. Conversation can better move around the topic, and be better explained, when spoken words are used to get the ideas across. Furthermore, when a telephone call is made, it can be ensured that the intended person is the one to receive the message. This does not always work with texting. No texted reply from the other person could either mean that they didn t receive the information, or that they simply didn t feel the need to respond. When calling, the caller will know that the answerer received the message once the phone is picked up. If the phone is not picked up, the caller will know for certain that their message was not delivered. One of the hindrances of calling is the chance of being overheard. When words are said aloud, anyone within earshot could hear the conversation. This can be a problem when the conversation is private, whether for personal or business reasons. The examples listed here are just a few of the many advantages and disadvantages of

Aeneas, The Titular Hero Of Virgil s Aeneid Aeneas, the titular hero of Virgil s Aeneid, is the flawed Trojan hero sent on a divine quest to found the new Troy and establish the basis for the Roman Empire. Along this journey, he is pushed to his limits both mentally and physically. This strain shows him to be a deeply Roman hero, especially in the values that come forward in his actions and response to tragedy. He embodies two major Roman values: pietas and respect for family, both past and future. One of the most important values that Aeneas embodies is pietas. Pietas is a nigh untranslatable word that means great devotion and piety, the two words Lombardo uses most in his translation of the Aeneid to indicate this value. Randall Ganiban, in his introduction to the Aeneid states that Aeneas is placed in such a difficult position because of his pietas his duty towards his family, state, and the gods (Ganiban, p.15). Aeneas struggles to balance his sense of duty towards all three and the fact that despite his immortal parentage, he is simply a human man with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He possesses an almost supernatural sense of duty, which is why it is very strange that he finds some of his strongest opposition in the form of the divine. Juno, queen of the gods, violently opposes Aeneas quest for Rome. This is marked as strange by Virgil: That she forced a man of faultless devotion / To endure so much hardship (Aen. 1.14 15, Lombardo). Aeneas is known throughout the land for his
