Example Of Comparison And Contrast Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of "Example of Comparison and Contrast Essay" can be both
challenging and rewarding. The difficulty lies in the intricate balance between comparing and
contrasting two or more subjects while maintaining a coherent and logical structure. It requires a
deep understanding of the chosen subjects, the ability to identify meaningful similarities and
differences, and the skill to express these insights in a clear and compelling manner.
One of the challenges is to avoid a mere listing of facts and details without providing a
meaningful analysis. A successful comparison and contrast essay should go beyond surface-level
observations and delve into the significance of the identified similarities and differences.
Crafting a strong thesis statement that highlights the purpose of the comparison and contrast is
crucial, as it sets the tone for the entire essay.
Organizing the essay can also be a complex task. Striking the right balance between the two
elements is essential, ensuring that each point contributes to the overall argument without
becoming overly biased towards one side. Transitions between paragraphs and ideas should be
seamless to maintain the flow of the essay and guide the reader through the analysis.
Moreover, the selection of suitable subjects for comparison adds an additional layer of difficulty.
Choosing topics that are both relevant and meaningful requires careful consideration. The
research involved in gathering information about the subjects should be thorough, and the
sources should be credible to support the essay's claims.
In conclusion, writing a comparison and contrast essay necessitates a blend of analytical skills,
critical thinking, and effective communication. While it can be challenging, successfully
navigating these challenges leads to a well-crafted essay that provides valuable insights into the
chosen subjects. If you find yourself struggling with such assignments, it's worth considering

Outline of the Concept of Genetic Manipulation
The purpose of the report is to outline the concept of genetic manipulation, which is
an all inclusive term that describes the deliberate manipulation of the genetic material
by biochemical techniques. It is also referred to as genetic modification or genetic
engineering. These are the terms for the process of manipulating the genes, usually
outside organisms natural reproductive process. It involves, isolation, manipulation
and reintroduction. In this report the type of genetic manipulations that will be
discussed are selective breeding in the plants in order to produce desired
characteristics. The case study that covers selective breeding in the report is on Red
Fleshed Apple. On the other hand, transgenesis in animals is the other type of genetic
manipulation being covered which means taking a genefrom one species and inserting
it into another. The case study organism explaining transgenesis in animals will be
transgenic cow.
SELECTIVE BREEDING

Selective breeding also called artificial selection is the process by which according
to human need, animals and plants are bred for particular traits. The main aim for
doing selective breeding is to pass the desired traits on to the future generations and
in an attempt to produce offspring with improved traits. The techniques involved in
selective breeding include In breeding, line breeding and outcrossing. Few steps
involved in selective breeding are:

Short Essay On Circus
History of circus
A circus is a group of entertainers, which consists of includes clowns, acrobats, trained
animals, trapeze acts, jugglers, unicyclists, and other object manipulation. The term
circus through many formats over 150 years of modern history. Philip Ashley was the
father of the circus. He opened his first circus in England in 1768. The early circuses
consisted of equestrian skills with horsemanship performances. The performances
developed through the next 50 years with large scaled theatrical recreations. The
traditional format consisted the ringmaster who used to introduce the performances.
Contemporary circus originated from the traditional circus from the 1980s. A number
of groups introduced the curious based on human skills. Overtime styles of
performances changed since the time of Philip Ashley. There are the types of venues
where these circuses take place. In the early ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

He did not introduce clowns and acrobats, instead he used to display horse riding
tricks. He wanted to create a space where these acts would assemble together to
produce a show. Astley referred to the circus as an arena. In England, the circuses
were held places with built building such as the London hippodrome. The London
hippodrome was built as a combination is the circus, a theater where wild animals
appeared in the ring. The royal circus opened in London by Charles dibdin and his
partner Charles Hughes. Astley established the Amphitheatre Anglais in Paris,
France. It was the first built circus in France leading by 18 other permanent circuses
in the cities throughout Europe.

Jonathan Swift Poetry Analysis
In the early twentieth century Ireland two poets were well known for their radicals
views of the country. Theirs names were Antoine Raftery and Jonathan Swift.
Raftery was a blind man that was able to get by from traveling and singing or
telling stories about Ireland. A lot of his tales were based on how beautiful all the
nature was and how connected the people were to it. He makes this point because of
the hard times in Irelanddue to the French rule. The French did not care about how
poor the majority of Ireland was. Swift is another poet of the time who was more
focused on bringing forward the idea to rebel against the French. He would not
come right out and say this in his work but would instead suggest different points of
action like in his poem A Modest Proposal. Their work did not have a great effect
until later when a poet by the name William Butler Yeats
, based his poem Cathleen ni
Houlihan, off of their inspiration. In Rafterty s poem County Mayo he talks about
the land of plenty. This is the town where he was born and can remember how it
was before the French took control. Being a poor, blind, old man he would ask to
stay with people and in exchange he would tell his stories. He was almost always
on the move so many people heard of his tales and he became well known. The
people he would stay with were the common people, often poor farmers who loved
to hear about the natural beauty of Ireland. In his stories he would tell of the land of
plenty and how it was now
Ree In The Ozarks
Ree has also developed confidence as a survival attribute. Watching the turn of
events, it is apparent that the entire Ozarks are full of meth cooks. This is clearly
illustrated by the fact that she is attacked on her attempt to seek the intervention of
the local crime officer; everyone lives in constant fear of betrayal. However, the
young lady is confident enough and doesn t fear explaining her case to people she
believes can be of help (Paludi, 2011). Having been once bitten by the Milton
women, she quickly agrees to accompany them to the bond with hope that she will
find her father. She has the courage to face the women for the second time, even
though they beat her in their first meeting.
Unlike her neighbors and kinsmen, Ree has only ... Show more content on

All in all, I liked the movie for a number of reasons. For instance, the movie clearly
brings out the plight of young children who are burdened with parental
responsibilities at a very tender age. While the case in the movie is as a result of
crime and medical incapacitation, there are so many other vices in society that
have turned young children into parents even before they internalize the true
definition of who a parent is. Vices such as civil wars, the HIV/AIDS menace and
even sporadic wars between warring nations have left so many young children with
the responsibility of bringing up their siblings. Ree is thus portrayed as an example
to be emulated by all other children of her age who unfortunately finds themselves in
similar circumstances (Paludi, 2011). Rather than sit around crying the whole day, it
s always advisable to pick up the left pieces and move on with life since at times,
those you expect to offer a helping hand might turn out to scorn you
Christine Darden s Accomplishments

Research Paper On Rhizobia
Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
Situational Analysis
Soil productivity is an important concern for farmers. Green manuring, crop rotation
and mix farming are oftenly used to improve the soil fertility at the same time the
nutrients used in plant growth are conserved and returned to the soil to enhance its
fertility (Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, 1993). Green manuring is the plowing
under or soil incorporation of any green manure crops while they are green or soon
after they flower. Green manures are grown for their leafy materials needed for soil
conservation (Boller et al., 2004). Plants are commonly used for green manuring have
Rhizobia bacteria for nitrogen fixation similarly crop rotation is alternating legumes
and non legumes plants
Most plants need nitrogen from various sources one of which is fixed by a group of
bacteria known as Rhizobia (Herridge et al., 2008). Rhizobia have the ability to fix
nitrogen in plant and help for their growth. The Rhizobia chemically convert the
nitrogen from the atmosphere to make it available in plants. If there is not enough
nitrogen available in the soil, plants look pale in color and their growth development
is reduced (Ngakou, 2009).
Rhizobia are remarkable bacteria because they can live either in the soil or within the
root nodules of host legumes and non legumes plants. When ... Show more content on

carcinogenic effects of heterocyclic amines generated when grilling meats at a high

Saint, best known by pen name Miss Reed, she is an English novelist. The text is
extract from the novel Fresh from the Country , the story of a young country girl
who has taken a first teaching job in the big city.
The text tells us about first day of a young teacher at school. She was introduced to
her new class by the headmistress. At that moment Anne felt helpless and
embarrassed. The headmistress, Miss Enderby, is imperious and strict person, she
spoke in an imperative tone and with children and with Anne. When ... Show more

When Miss Enderby gave Anne final instructions I think Anne felt reassurance
because Miss Enderby was very polite and she said that she could depend on her. In
my opinion in school Anne was attentive and diligent student, she was active and had
good relations with teachers. When the headmistress went out and the noise grew in
volume, because the children communicate with each other very animatedly, Anne
remembered advice given her at college in such a situation: to stand still and to be
calm and gradually children will notice that you are waiting. Such advice could give
her one of her teachers.
Plot structure of the text is direct. It consists of the exposition: Anne meets her class
; the beginning of the plot: Miss Enderby goes out of the class ; plot complications
begin with the phrase Anne gave watery smile and end with the phrase Anne
advanced into action ; the climax of the text is considered in the following phrase:
To your desks! she roared, And quickly. and the denouement: Anne s self esteem crept
back .
My attitude to Anne is positive. Reading this extract I understood that she is good
natured and modest person and treats with respect to other people. What about the
text itself? Unfortunately we don t know the continuation of the story, but
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Truly there would be reason to go mad were it not for music. (― Pyotr Ilyich
Tchaikovsky) Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky used music as an escape, crafting
wondrous melodies to entice the heart and mind out of its worldly miseries and
into the land where musical delight reigned supreme. His life lay troubled, and
music became his refuge. As a result, he spent copious time dedicated to
developing his musical talent and composed the worlds of fantastic delights in
which, as he states, he truly lived. His wildly prolific music graced the ears and
eyes of many, drawn into his finely crafted masterpieces of Russia lore. To further
understand Tchaikovsky s influence, we will examine his personal life, his career,
and his family life. Composer Pyotr... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Petersburg Conservatory, as one of their first composition students. Upon
graduation, he moved to Moscow, where he became a professor of harmony at the
Moscow Conservatory. In 1875, acclaim came readily for Tchaikovsky as he
embarked on a tour of Europe. During this time he published his most famous
ballets, including Swan Lake and the fantasy Francesca da Rimini. Tchaikovsky
displayed an unusually wide stylistic and emotional range, from salon works of
innocuous charm to symphonies and operas of tremendous depth, power and
grandeur. As a Romantic composer, he emulated the emotionality of the period,
drawing out long, heart felt performances from the folk and native stories and
legends of his homeland. Pyotr Tchaikovsky s first publicly performed work
Characteristic Dances was conducted by Johann Strauss the Younger in 1865, at a
Pavlovsk concert. In total Tchaikovsky published 169 pieces of music, including
operas, symphonies, ballets, cantatas, concertos, and fantasias. March 1884,
Tchaikovsky received an official statement from the current Tsar, highlighting his
work as a Russian composer and pushing to him the title of the Father of Russian
Romanticism . His works influenced several famous Russian composers, including
Stravinsky, and Rachmaninov, and composers of other nationalities as well, such as,
Richard Strauss, George Mahler, and Jean Sibelius. His ballets and operas are still
performed around the world and his name lives
Nineteen Eighty Four And The Inheritors Are Related
Firstly, Nineteen Eighty Four and The Inheritors are related because the societies
in these novels control people through despair. In Nineteen Eighty Four, the Party
constantly manipulates the minds of its citizens and rewrites historical records in
order to keep them inferior and to obey the government s commands. However,
even if an individual revolts against the Party, they will be tortured to the extent
where they will relinquish all of their rebelliousness and become loyal once again.
For instance, in the novel, Winston s completely surrenders himself to the Party
when the narrator states, But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle
was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother (Orwell
298). Winston, who initially despised the Party, is now beginning to love Big
Brother as he was severely tormented by O Brien in several ways, Winston is
renouncing his desire to cause the collapse of the regime, which indicates that O
Brien, who is a Party member, has directly provoked the former through the tortures
to state that there is no hope of forming a revolution in Oceania as the Party is the
supreme power in the universe. Likewise, in The Inheritors, the Homo sapiens
brutally attack Lok and Fa, forcing them to relinquish their desire to rescue Liku and
the infant. For example, after the evolved species escape after striking the couple,
Lok, who attempts to persist, eventually gives up: The creature wrestled with a rock

Essay Standardized Testing
Standardized testing is used practically worldwide for all sorts of various criterion. A

Bush wants tests to be used to tell if in fact the student has taken in the standard
amount of knowledge they should have while in that grade. Getting eighty out of one
hundred questions would not be bad neither. That is because often times, questions
are thrown in that may not have necessarily been something the student would have
learned during his third grade year but rather his fourth grade year. If the student
does answer those questions correctly the student is advanced and know more than
the standard amount of information that was taught to them. Under Bush?s plan, if
a large amount of students are not meeting state standards of what they should be
learning, then tax money will be yanked away from that school. In this case, it is
crucial that all teachers do their job in teaching children the standard information
required to be known by a specific grade or skill level. If the standard information
is taught thoroughly and correctly then it should be easy for the student to take a
standardized test and come out equal to or ahead of set standards. A Norm
Referenced test compare a person?s score against the scores of a group of people
who have already taken the same exam, called the ?norming group.?
The Impact Of Technology On Technology
The statement linking technology negatively with free thinking plays on recent
human experience over the past century. Surely there has been no time in history
where the lived lives of people have changed more dramatically. A quick reflection on
a typical day reveals how technology has revolutionized the world. Most people
commute to work in an automobile that runs on an internal combustion engine.
During the workday, chances are high that the employee will interact with a computer
that processes information on silicon bridges that are .09 microns wide. Upon leaving
home, family members will be reached through wireless networks that utilize
satellites orbiting the earth. Each of these common occurrences could have been
inconceivable at the turn of the 19th century.
The statement attempts to bridge these dramatic changes to a reduction in the ability
for humans to think for themselves. The assumption is that an increased reliance on
technology negates the need for people to think creatively to solve previous
quandaries. Looking back at the introduction, one could argue that without a car,
computer, or mobile phone, the hypothetical worker would need to find alternate
methods of transport, information processing and communication. Technology short
circuits this thinking by making the problems obsolete.
However, this reliance on technology does not necessarily preclude the creativity that
marks the human species. The prior examples reveal that technology allows for
Essay on Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas
Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas
Frederick Douglas, a slave born in Tuckahoe Maryland, was half white and half
black. His mother was a black woman and his father a white man. Though he never
knew his father, there was word that it was his master. Douglas wrote this narrative
and I felt that it was very compelling. It really showed me the trials and tribulations
that a black man went through during times of slavery.
In his early years, Douglas lived on a farm where he watched many slaves receive
harsh beatings and whippings. For example, one of his masters whipped his Aunt
Hester because she was not there when he desired her presence. At the time she was
in the company of another man, which was something that Colonel ... Show more

Hopkins, and Mr. Austin Gore were all cruel overseers. An exception to this was Mr.
Hopkins, who was not a typical overseer. Unlike the others, he did not curse a lot,
and bent the rules every now and then. He was called by the slaves a good overseer
(p. 7). The typical overseer would have beat a slave the second he stepped out of
line. For example, Mr. Gore, who took Mr. Hopkins place was very cruel and
would not take any sort of talking back. He would not communicate with any of
the slaves except for giving orders and beating them. He was, in a word, a man of
the most inflexible firmness and stone like coolness (p. 13). There were also those
white people who encouraged black people to escape, and them catch them to receive
rewards. Slaves could not catch any breaks.
On the other hand, there were some good whites. Douglas wanted to learn how to
read, so he made friends with some little white boys on the street. Douglas spoke
of running errands, and stopping in with the white children to learn to read in his
spare time. As a symbol of his gratitude, Douglas would give the children bread to
eat. They, in fact, had a discussion about slavery at one point. He told the children,
You ll be free as soon as you re twenty one, but I m a slave for life! Have I not as
good a right to be free as you have? (p. 22). He recalled that this troubled them, but
they still showed much sympathy towards him. The presence of sympathetic white
people gave him

What is urbanization? Urbanization is the increase of population in an urban area. It is
as much as a social process as it is an economic and territorial process. There are a
few major cause of urbanization which include the industrial revolution,
immigration, push and pull factor. Industrialization is the increase and development
of a society or country that transforms its self s itself from a primarily agricultural
society into one based on the industrialized of goods and services. The increasing
number of factories created has a powerful need for labor, compelling people in rural
areas to move to the city, and drawing immigrants from around the world to come to
Canada for employment. As a result, Canada has transformed from a rural to an urban
nation, and the demographics of the country shifted dramatically. Subsequent
industrial development the process of urban¬ization is accelerating at much more
rapidly rate. Urbanization brings about social and cultural changes in community life,
which also correspond to modernization. The loss of community life and traditional
large sized joint families on one hand and growing individualism, and smaller sizes
of house¬holds and development of independent personalities in a diverse
community on the other, are the commonly observed characteristics of urban as well

direct production workers, support, and overhead staff. As the processes matured and
became more and more automated, fewer direct production workers would be
required. American Connector Company s Sunnyvale facility was divided into five
separate production areas: terminal stamping and fabrication, terminal plating, plastic
housing moulding, assembly and testing, and packaging. Typically, terminals were
cut or stamped, then transported to a holding area to await plating. Concurrently, the

batches of housings and plated terminals were shipped to assembly, where most of
the units were assembled through an automated assembly process (10% of

Analysis Of Cave Of The Forgotten Dreams
In the movie Cave of the Forgotten Dreams, director Werner Herzog and a very
small crew are given the opportunity to go to France and see Chauvet Cave. While
watching the start of this movie, I was very surprised to see that they were limited
with how many people they could bring into the cave. I have gone to a cave in
South Dakota and they took hundreds of people in it at a time. So, seeing that I
think they only had like five crew members was very shocking. I was surprised
though how many experts they had working on mapping the map and doing other
tests on the cave. I thought maybe, there would only be like two experts in at a
time and not five or six. I also didn t know there was that many different experts
that all can work on the same thing at the same time. Also, while watching I was
surprised to see the equipment that they had to use.I never really thought about
how the lights can affect the cave walls and the paintings.I was impressed that they
filmed the movie in the cave with a non professional movie camera, I did not know
that there were other cameras that could work that well in the dark of a cave. In
class and watching this movie we find out that Chauvet Cave was discovered in
December of 1994 when Christian Hillaire, Eliette Brunel Deschamps and Jean
Marie accidently found it, because they had felt a draft. In the introduction to the
movie we find out that the cave sits next to this beautiful river named Pont d Arc.
We later find out that it might be this river that feeds into the cave that brings some
bones into it, such as golden eagle bones. I also find out that the entrance that these
hikers had found was actually not the true entrance. We find out that the actual
entrance was covered when the cave had collapsed in earlier times. I was really
surprised that they were able to find the actual entrance. I thought since the cave
had collapsed that it would have damaged or destroyed the original entrance. In the
cave I was shocked with how beautiful it was on the inside. The caves I have visited
have never looked this neat. When we first saw the inside we see that there were
these crystal icicle looking things all over the place and they looked really clean
compared to other caves that I have
Dress Code Bias
There are many topics to chose for an argumentative essay but I have chosen one
that is important to kids at school. Every student s thinks that the dress code is
dumb. The three details that this essay is going to cover is how dress codes are
gender biased, what we have to wear because of dress codes, and how it affects the
way we learn. Many students say I think it s not cool how we have to have a dress
codeit s so gender biased. The dress code is against both genders and what we wear.
It s about looking professional for our learning/working not distracting the boys. It is
a gender biased attitude about it that needs to change. The fact that schools think we
should have a dress code is unfair. Students are prohibited from wearing, while
The s Operational Values Internal Communication
Alaska Airlines have lately recovered from a period of operational uncertainty, yet
its executives worry the airline is draining its reserves of goodwill and consumer
loyalty, due to variability in, its data for on time flights and mishandled baggage and
losses over the past two years. The senior executives question whether the
organization could survive if the functionality were to slip again after concentrating
lots of resources on operations in an attempt to recover equilibrium. Is staying status
quo good enough, or should the airlines leadershiptakes action to transform the
operational values Internal Communicationis one of the most neglected areas of
strategic planning.
Most companies spend a great deal of money and effort on their external
communication plan but fail to expend any energy toward creating an organized plan
for internal communication. They rarely discusses using a planned approach to
internal communication as a proactive strategy for long term business success.
Expected benefits are important an elements as well as issues for consideration are
presented along with the planning and measurement of the internal communication
strategy. The ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and
employees is imperative to providing greater customer satisfaction and improving
business productivity. How well information is communicated both externally to
customers and vendors and internally to employees is vital to long term business
success.
Home School Has Become a Popular Way of Education
So many reasons why parents choose to home school their children. Even though it

Although some research shows that home schooled children have higher levels of
self esteem and are friendlier than those who attend public schools, I honestly believe
that the outcome of home schooled children falls on the parent s decisions
throughout the child s home schooling career. If the parent chooses proper
extracurricular activities and has their children attend social events, then it can affect
the child in positive ways. Whereas if the parent chooses not to have their child
participate in social activities, then it can negatively affect the child s social levels
and self esteem levels.
Bullying has become such a huge, debatable issue within the public school system.
This has become one of the main reasons why parents have decided to home school
their children. There is virtually no fighting or bullying that go along with home
schooling. However, this does not mean that home schooled children do not have to
face bullying or fighting in their entire schooling career. There are children that bully
other children that are being home schooled or public schooled children even though
there is monitoring by the parents. Unfortunately there are opportunities within the
sport teams and social events that require children to go through, and deal with
bullying and fighting. Another huge reason why

the fear of childbirth, and it was a fear that I overcame. Throughout pregnancy, many
women decided to research anything, and everything that could happen to you, or the
baby. Further along. into my pregnancy, I realized that I was starting to fear childbirth
. While I was pregnant fear overcame my body because, I was scared of the risk of
dying, the fear of something going wrong with me or the baby, and then how bad the
recovery would be. I had several fears throughout my pregnancy, but a tremendous
fear was the risk of losing my life. From the beginning until the end, this thought
was always in the back of my head. Another thing is you always see something
happen in movies, or on a show, you really do not know what to expect of
childbirth until it actually happens to you. However, my nerves started to calm
down, and I did realize that many women survive childbirth; and that I could top.
Once I did start to think positive thoughts it helped a lot. For me, it was after
having my son that I think I overcame the fear of dying, and if I ever had a second
child, I do not think I would worry so much about that.... Show more content on

For instance, you always have that fear in the back of your mind that there could
be something wrong with the baby. Of course, you never want that to happen, but
it was a huge fear of mine. Again, you do the research, and you hear the stories of
something being wrong with a baby. But for me, something before birth happened,
I was pregnant with twins, and I did lose a baby early in my pregnancy. After that,
the doctors reassured me because of that the other baby was perfectly healthy.
Another thing, I did was to stop looking on the internet, and to talk to my doctors if
I felt as if I had other questions. One last thing that helped me is when I saw my baby
and he was perfect in every
Pros And Cons Of Integrated Marketing Communications
Integrated Marketing Communications
As online presence has advanced, there are more and more business minded people
turning to the Internet as a way to make a living. There are plenty of pros and cons
to go around with the online community, but the savvy business person can overcome
the cons and become quite successful. It all begins with a strategy. What is the best
way to get your message out there where customers will find it? For the successful
business person integrated marketing communications is the key to online success.
Integrated marketing communications applies messaging about your brand using
traditional and non traditional marketing strategies. Each method of communication is
used to build up other forms of communication. In ... Show more content on

While some strategies are very strong, others are very weak. When combined, each
strategy works effectively for the betterment of the other. This allows the business to
reach a broader customer base and to provide a greater impact.
Modern day marketing
In 1989 there were not many people thinking about Internet marketing. Most people
went to a brick and mortar store to do their shopping. Sometimes they had to use
mail order, but rarely did they think of any other way to purchase the products and
items they wanted. Today is an entirely different world. Social media has taken the
Internet by storm, allowing people to communicate around the world. By utilizing
social media, business are able to reach more people who are looking for what they
have to sell.
Along with social media, search engines are geared to lead people to a certain site.
Successful search engines use search engine optimization, or key words that are used
to find a site. The more often the key words are placed in a promotional piece, the
easier it is for the search engine to locate the proper site. For example, if you are
looking for kitchen utensils, the phrase kitchen utensils should be used in the title of
the communication, and it should be used several times through the remaining
Anglican Churches
Newly ordained Anglican priests are given a bible to show that all their authority
is rooted in scripture, while priests that are ordained in the Roman Catholic church
are given a chalice and a patten to symbolize their receiving power to consecrate
the Last Supper. The Anglican polity preserves the ordained orders of bishops,
presbyters priests, and deacons that go back to apostolic times. Although there is no
official doctrine of having a priest, some Anglicans consider it essential; some feel it
is needed for the proper ordering or fullness of a truly catholic church (Encyclopedia
of Religion).
All Anglican churches are constitutionally governed. Each church has their own
canons for executive and legislative authorities (Encyclopedia of Religion). From the
outside, we can see the ways the Anglican approach to scripture is similar to the
Catholic approach and also various Protestant views, but it follows neither approach
neatly. The Bible holds a place of supreme authority and formation of beliefs in the
Anglican community. Jesus Christ is one of the sure revelations of God and holy
scripture is one sure record that revelation itself is both inspired and revealed by God.

Located on every continent, Anglicans speak many languages and come from
different races and cultures. Although the churches are self governed, they are also
uniquely unified through their history, their theology, their worship and their
relationship to the ancient See of Canterbury. Anglicans uphold the Catholic and
Apostolic faith. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Churches are committed
to the proclamation of the good news of the Gospel to the whole creation. In practice,
this is based on the revelation contained in Holy Scripture and the Catholic creeds and
is interpreted in light of Christian tradition, scholarship, reason, and
Positive And Negative Outcomes Of The Industrial
Revolution
There were many positive and negative outcomes of the Industrial Revolution. Some
of the negatives was that there was pollution, terrible working conditions, and
poverty. However, some of the positives would be new technological advancements
and Labor Unions. As a result of The Industrial Revolution, there was more of a
negative effect than a positive one.
There were lots of negative outcomes of the Industrial Revolution. One example: the
terrible working conditions in which employers didn t want to spend money to make
things better, so dangerous working environments worsened. Another negative
outcome was pollution. Pollution occurred from all the CO2 emissions into the
atmosphere from dirty factories. Finally, under payment is another negative
In The Wake Of The Plague Summary
In the novel In the Wake of the Plague by Norman F. Cantor he researches the
details etched into the minds of us Americans about the Black Plague. Cantor states
that the Black Death was probably not solely due to rodent borne forms of the
bubonic plague. He will begin to prove his argument by the use of biomedical
context. When a human contracted this disease without antidote, there is a four out
of five possibility that he will die within two weeks. The first stage is marked by
flulike symptoms, normally accompanied by high fever. In the second stage, black
welts and bulges appear on the victims. These bulges vary in size and are known to
be extremely painful. Diarrhea and vomiting also accompany this. The third and often
most fatal stage is basically pneumonia. Today if this was to outbreak once more, the
patient can be treated with antibiotics during the first two stages. If the patient
reaches the third stage, the antibiotics may not work. During the time of the bubonic
plagueand the Black Deaththey didn t have antidote to be treated with. Antibiotics did

Also, this subject is quite similar to what is going on in this day and time with the
wide spread virus known as Ebola. Surveying recent biomedical research on the
Black Death, he believes that two diseases were at work in the 14th century during
the Bubonic Plague, identified as the one of the major components of the Black Death,
and a variety of anti humanoid Anthrax. The result was devastating, with up to 40
percent of Europe s population dying from the diseases. Among the historical
consequences, Cantor believes it was the end of the Plantagenet s Anglo French
Empire, for the Black Death decimated the peasant population that supplied the
English kings with the skilled infantry archers that were the backbone of England s
military power
A Discussion Of Campaign Finance Regulation
In his discussion of campaign finance regulation, Christiano argues that with cases of
gatekeeper mechanism and opinion formation mechanism, campaign expenditures
should be regulated to prevent drowning out of the opinions of nonaffluents. He
proposes that certain regulations will actually help protect and promote freedom of
expression, and suggests to limit expenditures and distribute vouchers during
campaign periods. Using a prima facie equation, I will argue against the claim that
Christiano s restrictions interfere unduly with freedom of expression and defend his
proposal as a valid resolution to the problem of drowning out.
Christiano identifies two mechanisms by which expenditures influence a political
system and drowns out the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The most obvious criticism of Christiano s proposal is that regardless of a regulation s
intent or effect, regulation of campaign expenditures is an infringement on
freedom of expression. Many consider one s allocation of one s own resources to
be a mode of expression, and the Supreme Court has generally upheld this view in
Buckley vs. Valeon and Citizens United vs. FEC. In this sense, limiting campaign
expenditure is specifically limiting those who are able and willing to provide
private expenditures from doing so. Such a limitation can been seen as a violation
of freedom of expression, and Christiano s proposal to limit certain expressions in
order to promote freedom of expression can seem absurd.
Christiano, however, argues that this temporary limitation is not an unduly
interference because the cost of campaign regulation on freedom of expression is
surpassed by its benefits for freedom of expression. He admits that the affluents will
be restricted from fully wielding their economic advantages, but he claims that this
limitation will preserve and promote diversity of opinions during the campaign
period and also ensure long run development of discussions. Because campaign
regulations will prevent diversity of ideas from being diluted by drowning out,
political discussion will

From a young age John Fitzgerald Kennedy set on a path to political greatness.
John F. Kennedy was the 35th President. He was the youngest man to ever be
elected into office. On November 22, 1963 President Kennedy died in Dallas,
Texas. Which would also make him the youngest President to die. He was killed by
an assassin s bullets as he s motorcade went past the Dealey Plaza on the sixth floor.
They were only three bullets that were fired during the assassination of John F.
Kennedy. Some bullets hit President Kennedy and some hit Governor Connally. The
FBI are not sure at which bullets hit Kennedy and which hit Connally, but Kennedy
was first shot in his neck then on the right side of his head. As for Governor Connally

Physical education is a fundamental component of the Australian curriculum that
maintains an underlying goal of providing the knowledge and skills to students to
allow them to live healthy and productive lives. However, the beginning of physical
education in its purest form can be traced back to a time when human society was in
its infancy, when the discipline would have been exhibited mainly through necessary
survival skills including hunting and spear throwing along with combat skills
involving wrestling and swordsmanship (Lumpkin, 2004). The ancient Greeks
bestowed great honour and prestige upon those who possessed athletic perfection
through the emphasis on the anatomy of an individual and their balanced life. This
was coupled with the Olympic Games that were used to adjudicate athletic perfection
amongst many individuals. It was the
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Handcrafted Rules And...
NER has reached maturity for many languages (e.g. English and French) but Arabic
NER still attract researchers for more enhancements for the task.
In literature, NER approaches have been classified into two main streams:
handcrafted rules and machine learning (ML) based. ML itself is classified into
supervised, semi supervised and unsupervised ML.
The approaches that have been encountered for Arabic NER are reviewed below.
2.1Handcrafted Rule Based NER
The Rule based approach, also known as knowledge engineering approach, relies on
grammar rules coming from the linguistic knowledge and heuristic rules to identify
names, such rules are implemented as regular expressions or finite state transduction
based grammar for pattern matching.

from two newspapers ( Assabah and Alanwar newspapers14) . The overall F measure
achieved was 74.95%.

What Causes Pig Influenza
Every day brings a new challenge, a new lesson, and prayerfully, a new blessing.
Good things come but unfortunately, so do the bad. I remember just a few years ago
hearing of people near and far being infected with the swine flu, which is the
transmitting of pig influenza into humans. It is also known as swine influenza, pig
influenza, or hog flu. This was devastating to hear. Being of a younger generation,
this was my first time hearing of something as drastic and severe as this. I began
wondering what caused this and why now? This disease destroyed the lives of many.

Its significance began with the initial onslaught in 1347 to 1354. Frequent
recurrences made it hard to regain the balance of the middle ages, and the social
pillars of the church, family life, and the economy were changed forever.
Monasteries and clergy suffered the greatest loss. The Europeans began to blame
God because they had no explanation for the outrage. Priests and bishops could not
give answers for what was happening so they abandoned their Christian duties and
fled. This caused the monasteries to be run by less educated people, who
eventually resigned. As the church weakened, so did the hope of the European
people. Animosity between the Christians and Jews arose, art and music became
dark and depressed, and people became obsessed with cultural death. The rich and
poor, the young and old, man, woman, boy and girl were all impacted. No one was

Implementation Of The Machine Learning Classifier For...
chapter{Implementation}
Implementation of the machine learning classifier for anomaly detection involves
using some libraries which help to execute the different steps to classify data and
perform analysis. In the next section the detailed implementation of this project will
be discussed.
section{Dataset selection}
This was the most important part of the entire project and consumed a lot of time.
Selecting a suitable database to perform the desired type of analysis was a very
difficult task as there are a very few well organized and labeled medical databases
which are suitable to perform anomaly detection. The database used by this project is

This helps to display the data points, attributes and various features in the dataset.
The other library that is used in the project is Scikit learn cite{scikit}. This library
plays an important role in building the classifier and designing the machine learning
algorithm. Scikit learn cite{scikit} is an open source library which provides efficient
tools for data mining and data analysis. It is based on other Python libraries like
NumPy cite{Numpy}, Scipy cite{Scipy} and Matplotlib cite{Matplot}. Scikit
cite{scikit} provides various functions and methods for classification and hence
helps to build an efficient classifier to detect anomalies in the data.
section{Machine learning algorithms}
There is a vast collection of machine learning classifiers that are provided in the
Scikit learn library cite{scikit}. All that is needed to do is install and import the
Scikit learn cite{scikit} library. Three different machine learning algorithms are used
to build a classification model to detect anomalies in the data. Out of these three the
one which provides optimal accuracy is chosen. The machine learning algorithms that
are used on the data are the Gaussian Naive Bayes algorithm, Logistic Regression
algorithm and Support Vector Machine algorithm.
After loading the dataset, the next important step is to visualize the data. Further,
there is a need to split the data into training and
The Argument Of The Sacrament Of Confession
For Protestantism, the act of professing one s sins to a priest for the Lord s
forgiveness the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a sacrament that is unnecessary and
not instituted. Valid arguments are made in favour of avoiding confession. First
most, only God can forgive sin; it is not man s right to cleanse the eternal soul.
Truthfully, God is truly the only one who can forgive us by his own authority of sin.
The practise of forgiveness began through the Lord and should continue in an unique
relationship between Him and his follower independently. Another objection to the
practise is that it is a man made explanation, not God s teaching. In the bible, there is
no teaching directly put forth on the idea that man can forgive sin. Rather
interpretations have been made to institute the practise, though there is no proof in
the infallible rule of faith (The Bible; Sola Scripture). As discussed, this act belongs
to God and only God. For Protestants, there is no need to... Show more content on

Though there are obvious disagreements between the two sides, I believe that the
Catholic sacrament of Confession paired with personal confession that embodies the
traits of the Protestant Confession (specific, acknowledges consequences, and
precedes forgiveness) would be the correct solution for the profession of my sins
to God. I believe that it is necessary for major digressions that we ask a priest for
intercession for the forgiveness of sins. However, I have been raised in a family,
where personal confession has held a place of importance. It strengths an
individualistic relationship with God. Fostering our ability to analyze our faith and
explore our intrapersonal sins, while including the intercession of saints suited to our
cause and person. I support the Catholic Church in their practice of Reconciliation,
but the Protestant Church is correct in how individual confession should be carried

times all over the planet, and has a major impact on the environment, both positive
and negative. Wildlife can be found in all ecosystems. Deserts, rain forests, plains,
and other areas including the most developed urban sites, all have distinct forms of

untouched by human factors, most scientists agree that wildlife around the world is

bearing states in India, be it financial or technical for protection of elephants and
their habitats. Elephants, the gentle giants of the forests are much loved in India and
this project was launched when their numbers started decreasing at an alarming rate.
The Project Elephant in India also aimed to decrease the human elephant battles and
help in the welfare of domesticated elephants in India. Though project elephant was
launched with much enthusiasm years ago, but it has still not led to as much
increase in the number of elephants as it was expected. Wildlife conservationists
state that the progress has been real slow and people in charge of the project are
themselves not very clear of the causes of decline in the number of elephants. Project
Elephant tries to ensure a free movement for the elephants and thus conserve large
areas for them that are called elephant reserve range .

each element in the molecule and the empirical formula gives the lowest whole

For instance, sodium chloride and sodium oxide should be and are NaCl and Na2O
respectively. Aluminum chloride and aluminum oxide should be and are AlCl3 and
Al2O3. When there are multiple oxidation states of a metal, more than one compound
is possible. For instance, copper and oxygen form Cu2O and CuO and more
information are needed to distinguish between the two. When naming a copper
oxide, it is very important that the name distinguish between the two possibilities
[copper(I) oxide or cuprous oxide and copper(II) oxide or cupric oxide].
Care must be exercised as chemistry often contains wonderful surprises. Suppose
the percent by mass experiment for an iron oxide results in 72.36% Fe by mass
and 27.64% O by mass. Following the procedure above, results in a molar ratio of
1.296:1.727. Division by the lowest number, results in a mole ratio of 1:1.33. For
cases like this, the next step is to multiply by the lowest whole number that converts
each of the subscripts to a whole number. Thus the formula is Fe3O4. As iron has two
oxidation states (+2, +3), the expected formula is either FeO of Fe2O3. Anytime a
result that is inconsistent with expectations is obtained, the first and immediate step
should be to recheck all the data and calculations. In this case, the results are real and
Fe3O4 is a known compound often called magnetite. Understanding the oxidation

For some people life may not be satisfactory. Life has many troubles including death,
pain, and suffering. It leaves little hope. There are ways in which people can live to
have a good life. This method of how a person should live is viewed differently
thoughout the world. James Hilton represents this combination of ideas and cultures in
the novel, Lost Horizon (1933). This novel tells the tale of four distinctively different

The mental environment of the people of Shangri La is the search of knowledge.
Platonism, the theory of Plato, maintains that to live the good life, one must first
acquire certain kinds of knowledge. This theory represents the environment of
Shangri La, searching for knowledge. Hilton portrays the Shangri Lite s search of
knowledge through their extensive library which contains the world s best
literature (95). This great asset of Shangri La represents the theory of Plato and

philosophical view aiding in the setting of Shangri La is the theory of Aristotle.
Aristotle believed that the good life is one of balance. The people of Shangri La
also lived this way claiming that our prevalent belief is moderation. (74). The
people are moderately sober, moderately chaste, and moderately honest (75).
Moderation is abundant throughout the setting of Shangri La, and the people claim
that moderation [is], y know the motto of the firm (180), whereas firm represents
Shangri La. This principle makes for a considerable degree of happiness (74). This
relates to the view of Aristotle, that the good life is a life of happiness. The
happiness of Shangri La is portrayed as one of the pleasantest communities, (108)
where the inhabitants are courteous and carefree (108) and where one will doubtless
find great happiness (198). Even in happiness there is moderation. Shangri La

To What Extent Was It Right For Gideon To Test God
Was it right for Gideon to test God?
In this essay I will provide evidence and thoughts on the proposed question, Was it
right for Gideon to test God? I methodically answer the question stated above,
starting with the current events; I will show how they effected Gideon and his
people. I will also show how Gideon interacted with the Angel and the characteristics
that he displayed when conversing. I will show the actions of Gideon when he
responded to God s commands. Lastly I will show the steps Gideon took when
communicating to God and how his actions reflected his faith.

Gideon replies, countering what the stranger said, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be
with us, why then is all this befallen us? (Judges 6:13) The first Lord used in this
sentence is aМ‚doМ‚n, it s root meaning: (meaning to rule); sovereign, that is,
controller (human or divine): lord, master, owner (Strong s Concordance H113).
Here we see Gideon addressing the stranger politely, but he doesn t realize that he
is talking to an angel of the Lord. Gideon also presents more doubts to the stranger
later on in verses 13, and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of,
saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath
forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. Gideon at this point
may be wary, he doesn t know this person , plus he was just interrupted, his hiding
place for threshing wheat was found out. Gideon s language contains questions and
he also states his doubts, he mentions that he believes the Lord has forsaken them.
So far the characteristics Gideon portrays is fearfulness, and doubt. In verse 16 of
Judges 6, the Lord tells Gideon, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the
Midianites as one man. This obviously perks Gideon curiosity as we see in the next
verses (17 18); he starts to realize with whom he may be conversing.
Mrs. Turpin s Character In Revelation By Flannery O
Connor
Flannery O Connor recognizes how the arrogant attitude of society has begun to
damage the reputation of the Christian community and emphasizes this problem in
her story Revelation . In the short story, Mrs. Turpin experiences several critical
character defining moments giving her the opportunity to reflect on her distorted
perspective of society. Mrs. Turpin believes she is highly respected and admired.
While in reality, she is a pretentious lady who has never liked to admit when she is
wrong. Through her physical description, condescending remarks and thoughts, and
her revelation with God, O Connor illustrates Mrs. Turpin s hypocritical morals. O
Connor begins Revelation by emphasizing Mrs. Turpin s appearance and relating it to
her pompous
The Federalism Of The United States
Americans utilize the Federalism idea as putting into effect the Constitution for
Federal, State, and Local governments. These areas are served as different areas with
different needs and goals within the federalist theory. The National Government has
expressed powers over the nation and subjects that effect our nation. The State has
limited powers that are involved within the State s boundaries. The local government
is expressed to help regulate the states. All together the governments make one
unitary system that can metaphorically be described as a cake. The breakup of
federalismstarted out being broken up in layers, like a layer cake, with distinct
separated powers of National government and State. Accordingly, as the New

The arguments resembled that the Federalist held the upper hand since they were
wealthy landowners to take charge of the democracy. Conversely, Antifederalist
were afraid to give into signing the constitution in favor of the Federalist ideas
because they felt it would grant too much power to the National Government instead
of the States. The dispute between the Federalist and Antifederalist lead to, what is
known today, as a breakthrough of famous Federalist Papers that lead to the greater
understanding of the Constitution. The Federalist Papers appeared as persuasive
writings developed by what we know today as historical figures that make up the
founding fathers of the ratification of the Constitution. The writings of the Federalist
argued that they held the privilege to secure the government to favor the economy.
The Federalist wrote to convince the public in the newspapers that their views and
actions would create a perfect balance and protect the Nation s people. On the other
hand, Anti Federalist opposed ratification of the Constitution in favor of the
federalist ideas. The Antifederalist persuaded that the Federalist would favor slavery,
and people s rights would be in danger. The two groups feuding created an important
factor in the U.S. Constitution. Like so, the Federalist considered the Antifederalist
ideas and managed to compromise a Bill of Rights to be added to the Constitution in
favor of absolute security to people s rights
The Drastic Transformation Of Macbeth And Lady Macbeth
Jeongkyu Park

The Drastic Transformation of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth
Throughout William Shakespeare s tragedy Macbeth, the characters of Macbeth and
Lady Macbeth develop profoundly differently over the course of the play. Macbeth s
character transforms from a noble hero to an ambitious, blood thirsty murderer. When
Macbeth is on the battlefield, he is heroic and brave by defeating the traitors of
King Duncan and the Norwegian Army, and he is crowned as Thane of Cawdor.
Later in the play, Macbeth cold heartedly murders his King, a woman and her
children, and his own beloved friend. This illustrates Macbeth s drastic
transformation from a hero to a murderer. On the contrary, Lady Macbeth changes
from a manipulative, ruthless wife, and an accomplice to murder, into a guilt ridden,
and a paranoid madwoman who commits suicide. When Lady Macbeth and her
husband are quarrelling, she insults her husband s manliness to make him commit the
murder of Duncan. Later in the play, Lady Macbeth deeply suffers from her guilt,
that she becomes mad. Lady Macbeth constantly sleepwalks and washes her hands of
the imaginary blood of her husband s victims and of her ambition. It is evident that
over the course of Shakespeare s tragedy Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth
develop profoundly differently throughout the play.
Shakespeare utilizes various dramatic devices throughout Macbeth to show the
audience a character s inner and personal thoughts.
Essay On NASA Twin Study
NASA Using Analytic to Analyze its Twin Study
The recent NASA Twin Study could be categorized as your typically Nature vs.
Nurture studies that observe twins in different environments to determine which one
the two factors supersede the other...genetics or environment (Powell, 2015)? The
Nature vs. Nurture debate has been traced back to 13th Century France. The answer
to this historical debate has yet to be discovered; nevertheless, most scientists can
agree that both of these factors do a play a part in growth even though that specific
part is unidentified (Powell, 2015).
In NASA s twin study, the two chosen environments to separate the twins were earth
and space. Yes, outer space! That once unreachable environment before July 20,
1969, when Astronaut Neil Alden Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon
(Williams, 2005). Since 1969 and with the advancement of technologies, NASA
continues to study space to understand its mystery characteristics because society is
even more fascinated about the world beyond its reached. I believe that some people

FPD Canines Definition
The report also indicates that the FPD uses canines not because it is necessary to
protect themselves or others from violent offenders, but to punish offenders, without
due process rights, and because the culture perpetuates a sense that the officers do not
need to use any skills or tactics to reduce injury, but to use methods that ultimately
ensure that pain and injury occur:
They appear to use canines not to counter a physical threat but to inflict punishment.
They act as if every offender has a gun, justifying their decisions based on what
might be possible rather than what the facts indicate is likely. Overall, FPD officers
use of canines reflects a culture in which officers choose not to use the skills and

Social Norm Breaching Experiment
1.What social norm did you select for your breaching experiment?
The social norm that we selected for our breaching experiment was invading people
s personal space and creating an instant intimacy with a stranger by saying I love you
at the end of a short conversation. To breach the norm we conducted a social
experiment where we initiated conversations with 16 men and women aged 20+ of
different ethnicities to test out their reactions. The reason I chose this social norm is
because I have observed that people do not interact with people who don t fit our
personal social criteria. As a result, we have grown to stay in little social bubble and
stay away from things that get us out of our comfort zones like talking to strangers or
having intimate face to face conversations.
2. Method
To violate the social norm, we conducted a social experiment where we had a short
conversation with strangers and ended the talk with saying I love you , as well as
giving them an I love you sticky note. The social experiment took place at Chapters
and Starbucks at noon on a saturday. The reason we picked the time and day is
because saturdays at noon is a rush hour ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When observing the younger males, we inferred that the guys who found
themselves more attractive had more confidence, thus were more outgoing and
accepting towards the random compliment. While the mature guys felt like they
had to filter or censor their response because they need to live up to being a role
model. Moreover, we found that the only negative response could be traced back to
how men act when they are with friends as they feel the need to fulfil the male
dominance stereotype and showcase their masculinity. This explains the rigid and
rugged behaviour of the man. It also brings to light how men react positively when
alone and negatively with friends when a girl takes dominance in a social

The Typists Character Analysis
The play The Typists is a play about a time in WW2 how these women s who write
letters to families whose sons have passed away when serving in the military and
do not realize how things could be hard for them to know what would it be like if
they were in their shoes and dreams. This was also the first theatrical play I have
attended and to my surprise it was a great experience, so it also gave me an
affective memory to what I was dealing with in my life. Though the production was
excellent there were things that I enjoyed, and only some that I disliked as well.
Hopefully this will help clarify my likings and disliking of the production The
Typists. Starting with my dislike of the production, it came to my attention that some
parts of the playwhere Sofi, the new girl who was always getting blamed whenever
her boss did not like how she would type her letters in Spanish. In my opinion, the
boss should not have gotten after for that reason since there are some families who
do not always read everything in English. She initially thought if they have a Spanish
last name she was being consider it on typingtheirs in Spanish rather them suffer in
trying to find out what was said in English. Another thingthat I didn t find interesting
was when the all the girls in the office had a night out talking about their guys who
were serving when they had a job to fulfill instead of Sofi. I had saw how much Sofi
was working hard on her letters trying to impress her
The Implications Of A Theory Of Foreign Policy

POLS 321: American Foreign Policy

Response Paper 1 Prompt 1
The Implications of Clinging to Theory in Foreign Policy
Analyzing foreign policies under the lens of a particular conceptual theory can be
useful because it allows us to pinpoint problems and focus on particular solutions in
an otherwise complex international environment. Using general theories as predictive
models of foreign policy outcomes allows us, as a nation, to unify our beliefs in an
otherwise contentious arena, and make decisions for our future that can be weighed
and tested. The problems with adhering to a single theory, however, are that we can
often entrench ourselves within a certain perspective, oversimplify a situation, and ...

I will argue that the best approach to foreign policy theory is to use all three theories
and adapt them to the current political atmosphere because it allows us to more
easily unify as a people and make more correct predictions about how to create
peace for the world. There are three main realms of political theory: realism,
liberalism, and constructivism (Snyder 53). Realism is essentially the shifting of
power between nation states as they gain or lose military might in the international
arena. It assumes that peace comes from a balance between states as they seek
what is in their self interest, and that less powerful states will coalesce against the
more powerful hegemony (Snyder 55). Realism falls short in that it fails to be able
to adapt to changing international norms in what qualifies as a nation state, such as
explaining why the U.S. would go to war with a group like Al Qaeda. Additionally,
it tends to ignore the strong ideological focus in the U.S. on creating democracies, or
to explain why other nation states have not joined together to combat the U.S. s
hegemony (Snyder 59). However, it does tend to explain the nation s strong military
response to terrorist attacks and shows of military strength such as Pearl
Child Abuse s Deathly Toll

Child abuse s deathly toll Child abuse, a very sensitive yet susceptible issue. Many
people do not want to face the consequences that child abuse can impose in children
s futures. The way a child is raised plays a very important role in how the child is
going to grow up to be. More than likely if a child is raised in a stable, well brought
up home, the child is going to grow up to be an average individual. On the other
hand, if a child is raised in a home where they are physically and mentally abused,
they have a greater chance of developing mental issues, and leading a wrongful life.
Child abuse plays the most influential role when it comes down to criminal
behaviour. Most identified ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some believe that genes and other mental disorders are the biggest cause of a life
of crime. In 1993 the Netherlands conducted a study where a family of Dutch men
with an aggressive history were reportedly missing the same gene. (BBC News,
Are Murderers born or made?) Although missing this gene may cause violent
outbreaks, the factor that triggers it abundantly, is the occurences in your
childhood. As Jim Fallon says in his TED talk video, to fully express this gene you
have to at a very early age or before puberty, be exposed to a very traumatic 3D
event. Even though mental illness also plays a role in these notorious crimes, when
a person tried to use the insanity plea, the justice system often goes back to see if
their childhood persisted of any abuse or neglect. Although many factors play a role
in the influence of these notorious crimes, child abuse is clearly the most influential.
Child adolescence is a time period in our life that is the most crucial to us as humans.
Most people who engage in criminal behaviour lack the love and nourishment of
parental figures at a young age, which they then try to sadistically recuperate by
committing these horrendous

his wife who is very obedient and he raised animals. When he was drunk, he easily
got mad and became violent so he hit his wife and his animals except a black cat
whose name is Pluto, which was his favorite animal. One day, he returned home much
intoxicated and thought Pluto was neglecting his presence. Caught in a fury, he
scooped one of the cats eyes. At first, he felt sad about the cat but soon, the sadness
became an anger to him. He ended up hanging the cat in a tree. On the night of the
day, there was a conflagration in his house. Somebody threw the cat had been hung
into his room to wake him. Strangely, the wall against his bed was not burnt and

An Analysis Of Sunday In The Park With George
Sunday in the Park With George: An Analysis White. A blank page or canvas. His

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, is a very curious musical indeed. The first
and second act are separated by a century, the protagonist manages to control the
entirety of the show, from the way the story flows, the style, even down to the
arrangement of the set pieces. The show transcends a traditional musical in the way
it tackles a very specific issue, that of the artist s struggle to connect to the rest of the
world. It has been argued that this show is completed in its first act, but that is
actually not the case. Those that argue that the show is complete after the first... Show

He creates a piece of art using light and lasers to recreate his great grandfather s
masterpiece, and is again criticized for his lack of vision. He finally finds
confidence in himself when he reads from a grammar book with notes inside
written by Dot, given to him by his own grandmother. While reading the notes Dot
wrote, Dot appears to this younger George and addresses his doubts and tells him
he needs to move on and stop worrying about if his work will please others. In this,
George and Dot are finally reunited and George manages to find his vision again.
The first act of the show introduces us to the struggle of our main character. George
struggles with something that many artists struggle with: the need to create great
work, often at the cost of other things in life. George s life is consumed by this, as
shown in the number Finishing the Hat, where George expresses how his view of
the world works. How you watch the rest of the world from a window, while you
finish the hat. George laments on how his art consumes him and how he can only
see the world through a window. The problem with the first act is that it never
resolves this struggle with George. Without the second act, George never is fully
resolved, left in this state of imbalance. The second act focuses on Seurat s
descendent, and his focus on being a successful artist. This new George has both the
same and opposite problem
Epilogue To The Avengers
They found themselves in a grand theater, with luxurious red seats and grand

bags under her eyes. Her medium length brown hair was pulled up in a ponytail.
She wore a strange ensemble, to say the least. She wore a long black vest with Her

Recycling Vs Recycling
The first step once every person or at least country is equipped with the money to
start making changes is commit to the small stuff. This means recycle your paper,
metal, class, and plastic. This is not hard, and you can even get a small amount of
money back for some of your recycling. The government could be able to provide
incentives for the people in the United States, and in other countries to get them to
recycle. This could be as small as coupons to cash back. The next step is for
manufacturing companies to quit producing items that will just break down in a few
short years and rather start making things that are going to last along time and make
them out of the correct materials. Plastic does not decompose but rather sits in a
landfillfor hundreds of years. We need to eliminate the use of plastic and replace it
with a material that will last, and once it is no longer useable it can be recycled
again. As a community there needs to be changes made with in each.
Transportation needs to be eliminated as much as possible unless you think that it
is economically feasible for everyone to drop their old car and spring for the even
more expensive electric car. We would have less of a problem with switching from
gas to electric if it was possible to find an inexpensive part or make it possible for
people to trade in and not pay in full for an electric car. But other means of
transportation would not be difficult, you just have to have a system set in place such
as steam

Example Of Comparison And Contrast Essay

  • 1. Example Of Comparison And Contrast Essay Writing an essay on the topic of "Example of Comparison and Contrast Essay" can be both challenging and rewarding. The difficulty lies in the intricate balance between comparing and contrasting two or more subjects while maintaining a coherent and logical structure. It requires a deep understanding of the chosen subjects, the ability to identify meaningful similarities and differences, and the skill to express these insights in a clear and compelling manner. One of the challenges is to avoid a mere listing of facts and details without providing a meaningful analysis. A successful comparison and contrast essay should go beyond surface-level observations and delve into the significance of the identified similarities and differences. Crafting a strong thesis statement that highlights the purpose of the comparison and contrast is crucial, as it sets the tone for the entire essay. Organizing the essay can also be a complex task. Striking the right balance between the two elements is essential, ensuring that each point contributes to the overall argument without becoming overly biased towards one side. Transitions between paragraphs and ideas should be seamless to maintain the flow of the essay and guide the reader through the analysis. Moreover, the selection of suitable subjects for comparison adds an additional layer of difficulty. Choosing topics that are both relevant and meaningful requires careful consideration. The research involved in gathering information about the subjects should be thorough, and the sources should be credible to support the essay's claims. In conclusion, writing a comparison and contrast essay necessitates a blend of analytical skills, critical thinking, and effective communication. While it can be challenging, successfully navigating these challenges leads to a well-crafted essay that provides valuable insights into the chosen subjects. • 4. Jonathan Swift Poetry Analysis In the early twentieth century Ireland two poets were well known for their radicals views of the country. Theirs names were Antoine Raftery and Jonathan Swift. Raftery was a blind man that was able to get by from traveling and singing or telling stories about Ireland. A lot of his tales were based on how beautiful all the nature was and how connected the people were to it. He makes this point because of the hard times in Irelanddue to the French rule. The French did not care about how poor the majority of Ireland was. Swift is another poet of the time who was more focused on bringing forward the idea to rebel against the French. He would not come right out and say this in his work but would instead suggest different points of action like in his poem A Modest Proposal. Their work did not have a great effect until later when a poet by the name William Butler Yeats , based his poem Cathleen ni Houlihan, off of their inspiration. In Rafterty s poem County Mayo he talks about the land of plenty. This is the town where he was born and can remember how it was before the French took control. Being a poor, blind, old man he would ask to stay with people and in exchange he would tell his stories. He was almost always on the move so many people heard of his tales and he became well known. The people he would stay with were the common people, often poor farmers who loved to hear about the natural beauty of Ireland. In his stories he would tell of the land of plenty and how it was now
  • 5. Ree In The Ozarks Ree has also developed confidence as a survival attribute. Watching the turn of events, it is apparent that the entire Ozarks are full of meth cooks. This is clearly illustrated by the fact that she is attacked on her attempt to seek the intervention of the local crime officer; everyone lives in constant fear of betrayal. However, the young lady is confident enough and doesn t fear explaining her case to people she believes can be of help (Paludi, 2011). Having been once bitten by the Milton women, she quickly agrees to accompany them to the bond with hope that she will find her father. She has the courage to face the women for the second time, even though they beat her in their first meeting. Unlike her neighbors and kinsmen, Ree has only ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All in all, I liked the movie for a number of reasons. For instance, the movie clearly brings out the plight of young children who are burdened with parental responsibilities at a very tender age. While the case in the movie is as a result of crime and medical incapacitation, there are so many other vices in society that have turned young children into parents even before they internalize the true definition of who a parent is. Vices such as civil wars, the HIV/AIDS menace and even sporadic wars between warring nations have left so many young children with the responsibility of bringing up their siblings. Ree is thus portrayed as an example to be emulated by all other children of her age who unfortunately finds themselves in similar circumstances (Paludi, 2011). Rather than sit around crying the whole day, it s always advisable to pick up the left pieces and move on with life since at times, those you expect to offer a helping hand might turn out to scorn you

  • 7. Research Paper On Rhizobia Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION Situational Analysis Soil productivity is an important concern for farmers. Green manuring, crop rotation and mix farming are oftenly used to improve the soil fertility at the same time the nutrients used in plant growth are conserved and returned to the soil to enhance its fertility (Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, 1993). Green manuring is the plowing under or soil incorporation of any green manure crops while they are green or soon after they flower. Green manures are grown for their leafy materials needed for soil conservation (Boller et al., 2004). Plants are commonly used for green manuring have Rhizobia bacteria for nitrogen fixation similarly crop rotation is alternating legumes and non legumes plants Most plants need nitrogen from various sources one of which is fixed by a group of bacteria known as Rhizobia (Herridge et al., 2008). Rhizobia have the ability to fix nitrogen in plant and help for their growth. The Rhizobia chemically convert the nitrogen from the atmosphere to make it available in plants. If there is not enough nitrogen available in the soil, plants look pale in color and their growth development is reduced (Ngakou, 2009). In my opinion in school Anne was attentive and diligent student, she was active and had good relations with teachers. When the headmistress went out and the noise grew in volume, because the children communicate with each other very animatedly, Anne remembered advice given her at college in such a situation: to stand still and to be calm and gradually children will notice that you are waiting. Such advice could give her one of her teachers. Plot structure of the text is direct. It consists of the exposition: Anne meets her class ; the beginning of the plot: Miss Enderby goes out of the class ; plot complications begin with the phrase Anne gave watery smile and end with the phrase Anne advanced into action ; the climax of the text is considered in the following phrase: To your desks! she roared, And quickly. and the denouement: Anne s self esteem crept back . My attitude to Anne is positive. Reading this extract I understood that she is good natured and modest person and treats with respect to other people. What about the text itself? (― Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky) Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky used music as an escape, crafting wondrous melodies to entice the heart and mind out of its worldly miseries and into the land where musical delight reigned supreme. His life lay troubled, and music became his refuge. As a result, he spent copious time dedicated to developing his musical talent and composed the worlds of fantastic delights in which, as he states, he truly lived. His wildly prolific music graced the ears and eyes of many, drawn into his finely crafted masterpieces of Russia lore. In 1875, acclaim came readily for Tchaikovsky as he embarked on a tour of Europe. During this time he published his most famous ballets, including Swan Lake and the fantasy Francesca da Rimini. Tchaikovsky displayed an unusually wide stylistic and emotional range, from salon works of innocuous charm to symphonies and operas of tremendous depth, power and grandeur. As a Romantic composer, he emulated the emotionality of the period, drawing out long, heart felt performances from the folk and native stories and legends of his homeland. Pyotr Tchaikovsky s first publicly performed work Characteristic Dances was conducted by Johann Strauss the Younger in 1865, at a Pavlovsk concert. In total Tchaikovsky published 169 pieces of music, including operas, symphonies, ballets, cantatas, concertos, and fantasias. March 1884, Tchaikovsky received an official statement from the current Tsar, highlighting his work as a Russian composer and pushing to him the title of the Father of Russian Romanticism . His works influenced several famous Russian composers, including Stravinsky, and Rachmaninov, and composers of other nationalities as well, such as, Richard Strauss, George Mahler, and Jean Sibelius. In Nineteen Eighty Four, the Party constantly manipulates the minds of its citizens and rewrites historical records in order to keep them inferior and to obey the government s commands. However, even if an individual revolts against the Party, they will be tortured to the extent where they will relinquish all of their rebelliousness and become loyal once again. For instance, in the novel, Winston s completely surrenders himself to the Party when the narrator states, But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother (Orwell 298). Winston, who initially despised the Party, is now beginning to love Big Brother as he was severely tormented by O Brien in several ways, Winston is renouncing his desire to cause the collapse of the regime, which indicates that O Brien, who is a Party member, has directly provoked the former through the tortures to state that there is no hope of forming a revolution in Oceania as the Party is the supreme power in the universe. Likewise, in The Inheritors, the Homo sapiens brutally attack Lok and Fa, forcing them to relinquish their desire to rescue Liku and the infant. Bush wants tests to be used to tell if in fact the student has taken in the standard amount of knowledge they should have while in that grade. Getting eighty out of one hundred questions would not be bad neither. That is because often times, questions are thrown in that may not have necessarily been something the student would have learned during his third grade year but rather his fourth grade year. If the student does answer those questions correctly the student is advanced and know more than the standard amount of information that was taught to them. Under Bush?s plan, if a large amount of students are not meeting state standards of what they should be learning, then tax money will be yanked away from that school. In this case, it is crucial that all teachers do their job in teaching children the standard information required to be known by a specific grade or skill level. If the standard information is taught thoroughly and correctly then it should be easy for the student to take a standardized test and come out equal to or ahead of set standards. A Norm Referenced test compare a person?s score against the scores of a group of people who have already taken the same exam, called the ?norming group.?
  • 12. The Impact Of Technology On Technology The statement linking technology negatively with free thinking plays on recent human experience over the past century. Surely there has been no time in history where the lived lives of people have changed more dramatically. A quick reflection on a typical day reveals how technology has revolutionized the world. Most people commute to work in an automobile that runs on an internal combustion engine. During the workday, chances are high that the employee will interact with a computer that processes information on silicon bridges that are .09 microns wide. Upon leaving home, family members will be reached through wireless networks that utilize satellites orbiting the earth. Each of these common occurrences could have been inconceivable at the turn of the 19th century. The statement attempts to bridge these dramatic changes to a reduction in the ability for humans to think for themselves. The assumption is that an increased reliance on technology negates the need for people to think creatively to solve previous quandaries. Looking back at the introduction, one could argue that without a car, computer, or mobile phone, the hypothetical worker would need to find alternate methods of transport, information processing and communication. Technology short circuits this thinking by making the problems obsolete. However, this reliance on technology does not necessarily preclude the creativity that marks the human species. The prior examples reveal that technology allows for

His mother was a black woman and his father a white man. Though he never knew his father, there was word that it was his master. Douglas wrote this narrative and I felt that it was very compelling. It really showed me the trials and tribulations that a black man went through during times of slavery. In his early years, Douglas lived on a farm where he watched many slaves receive harsh beatings and whippings. For example, one of his masters whipped his Aunt Hester because she was not there when he desired her presence. At the time she was in the company of another man, which was something that Colonel ... The typical overseer would have beat a slave the second he stepped out of line. For example, Mr. Gore, who took Mr. Hopkins place was very cruel and would not take any sort of talking back. He would not communicate with any of the slaves except for giving orders and beating them. He was, in a word, a man of the most inflexible firmness and stone like coolness (p. 13). There were also those white people who encouraged black people to escape, and them catch them to receive rewards. Slaves could not catch any breaks. On the other hand, there were some good whites. Douglas wanted to learn how to read, so he made friends with some little white boys on the street. Douglas spoke of running errands, and stopping in with the white children to learn to read in his spare time. As a symbol of his gratitude, Douglas would give the children bread to eat. They, in fact, had a discussion about slavery at one point. He told the children, You ll be free as soon as you re twenty one, but I m a slave for life! I have gone to a cave in South Dakota and they took hundreds of people in it at a time. So, seeing that I think they only had like five crew members was very shocking. I was surprised though how many experts they had working on mapping the map and doing other tests on the cave. I thought maybe, there would only be like two experts in at a time and not five or six. I also didn t know there was that many different experts that all can work on the same thing at the same time. Also, while watching I was surprised to see the equipment that they had to use.I never really thought about how the lights can affect the cave walls and the paintings.I was impressed that they filmed the movie in the cave with a non professional movie camera, I did not know that there were other cameras that could work that well in the dark of a cave. In class and watching this movie we find out that Chauvet Cave was discovered in December of 1994 when Christian Hillaire, Eliette Brunel Deschamps and Jean Marie accidently found it, because they had felt a draft. In the introduction to the movie we find out that the cave sits next to this beautiful river named Pont d Arc. We later find out that it might be this river that feeds into the cave that brings some bones into it, such as golden eagle bones. I also find out that the entrance that these hikers had found was actually not the true entrance. We find out that the actual entrance was covered when the cave had collapsed in earlier times. I was really surprised that they were able to find the actual entrance. I thought since the cave had collapsed that it would have damaged or destroyed the original entrance. In the cave I was shocked with how beautiful it was on the inside. The caves I have visited have never looked this neat. When we first saw the inside we see that there were these crystal icicle looking things all over the place and they looked really clean compared to other caves that I have

In this sense, limiting campaign expenditure is specifically limiting those who are able and willing to provide private expenditures from doing so. Such a limitation can been seen as a violation of freedom of expression, and Christiano s proposal to limit certain expressions in order to promote freedom of expression can seem absurd. Christiano, however, argues that this temporary limitation is not an unduly interference because the cost of campaign regulation on freedom of expression is surpassed by its benefits for freedom of expression. Priests and bishops could not give answers for what was happening so they abandoned their Christian duties and fled. This caused the monasteries to be run by less educated people, who eventually resigned. As the church weakened, so did the hope of the European people. Animosity between the Christians and Jews arose, art and music became dark and depressed, and people became obsessed with cultural death. • 33. The Argument Of The Sacrament Of Confession For Protestantism, the act of professing one s sins to a priest for the Lord s forgiveness the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a sacrament that is unnecessary and not instituted. Valid arguments are made in favour of avoiding confession. First most, only God can forgive sin; it is not man s right to cleanse the eternal soul. Truthfully, God is truly the only one who can forgive us by his own authority of sin. The practise of forgiveness began through the Lord and should continue in an unique relationship between Him and his follower independently. Another objection to the practise is that it is a man made explanation, not God s teaching. In the bible, there is no teaching directly put forth on the idea that man can forgive sin. Rather interpretations have been made to institute the practise, though there is no proof in the infallible rule of faith (The Bible; Sola Scripture). As discussed, this act belongs to God and only God. For Protestants, there is no need to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Though there are obvious disagreements between the two sides, I believe that the Catholic sacrament of Confession paired with personal confession that embodies the traits of the Protestant Confession (specific, acknowledges consequences, and precedes forgiveness) would be the correct solution for the profession of my sins to God. I believe that it is necessary for major digressions that we ask a priest for intercession for the forgiveness of sins. However, I have been raised in a family, where personal confession has held a place of importance. It strengths an individualistic relationship with God. Fostering our ability to analyze our faith and explore our intrapersonal sins, while including the intercession of saints suited to our cause and person. I support the Catholic Church in their practice of Reconciliation, but the Protestant Church is correct in how individual confession should be carried

For instance, sodium chloride and sodium oxide should be and are NaCl and Na2O respectively. Aluminum chloride and aluminum oxide should be and are AlCl3 and Al2O3. When there are multiple oxidation states of a metal, more than one compound is possible. For instance, copper and oxygen form Cu2O and CuO and more information are needed to distinguish between the two. When naming a copper oxide, it is very important that the name distinguish between the two possibilities [copper(I) oxide or cuprous oxide and copper(II) oxide or cupric oxide]. Care must be exercised as chemistry often contains wonderful surprises. Suppose the percent by mass experiment for an iron oxide results in 72.36% Fe by mass and 27.64% O by mass. Following the procedure above, results in a molar ratio of 1.296:1.727. Division by the lowest number, results in a mole ratio of 1:1.33. For cases like this, the next step is to multiply by the lowest whole number that converts each of the subscripts to a whole number. Thus the formula is Fe3O4. As iron has two oxidation states (+2, +3), the expected formula is either FeO of Fe2O3. Anytime a result that is inconsistent with expectations is obtained, the first and immediate step should be to recheck all the data and calculations. In this case, the results are real and Fe3O4 is a known compound often called magnetite. Understanding the oxidation state of iron in this compound

The Drastic Transformation Of Macbeth And Lady Macbeth Jeongkyu Park Ms. Kochanski English 30S 27 November 2017 The Drastic Transformation of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth Throughout William Shakespeare s tragedy Macbeth, the characters of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth develop profoundly differently over the course of the play. Macbeth s character transforms from a noble hero to an ambitious, blood thirsty murderer. When Macbeth is on the battlefield, he is heroic and brave by defeating the traitors of King Duncan and the Norwegian Army, and he is crowned as Thane of Cawdor. Later in the play, Macbeth cold heartedly murders his King, a woman and her children, and his own beloved friend. This illustrates Macbeth s drastic transformation from a hero to a murderer. On the contrary, Lady Macbeth changes from a manipulative, ruthless wife, and an accomplice to murder, into a guilt ridden, and a paranoid madwoman who commits suicide. When Lady Macbeth and her husband are quarrelling, she insults her husband s manliness to make him commit the murder of Duncan. Later in the play, Lady Macbeth deeply suffers from her guilt, that she becomes mad. Lady Macbeth constantly sleepwalks and washes her hands of the imaginary blood of her husband s victims and of her ambition. It is evident that over the course of Shakespeare s tragedy Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth develop profoundly differently throughout the play. Shakespeare utilizes various dramatic devices throughout Macbeth to show the audience a character s inner and personal thoughts.

Using general theories as predictive models of foreign policy outcomes allows us, as a nation, to unify our beliefs in an otherwise contentious arena, and make decisions for our future that can be weighed and tested. The problems with adhering to a single theory, however, are that we can often entrench ourselves within a certain perspective, oversimplify a situation, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I will argue that the best approach to foreign policy theory is to use all three theories and adapt them to the current political atmosphere because it allows us to more easily unify as a people and make more correct predictions about how to create peace for the world. There are three main realms of political theory: realism, liberalism, and constructivism (Snyder 53). Realism is essentially the shifting of power between nation states as they gain or lose military might in the international arena. It assumes that peace comes from a balance between states as they seek what is in their self interest, and that less powerful states will coalesce against the more powerful hegemony (Snyder 55). Realism falls short in that it fails to be able to adapt to changing international norms in what qualifies as a nation state, such as explaining why the U.S. would go to war with a group like Al Qaeda. Additionally, it tends to ignore the strong ideological focus in the U.S. on creating democracies, or to explain why other nation states have not joined together to combat the U.S. s hegemony (Snyder 59). However, it does tend to explain the nation s strong military response to terrorist attacks and shows of military strength such as Pearl
  • 51. Child Abuse s Deathly Toll Ashley Flores Shawn Arnston English 1101 13 March 2016 Child abuse s deathly toll Child abuse, a very sensitive yet susceptible issue. Many people do not want to face the consequences that child abuse can impose in children s futures. The way a child is raised plays a very important role in how the child is going to grow up to be. More than likely if a child is raised in a stable, well brought up home, the child is going to grow up to be an average individual. On the other hand, if a child is raised in a home where they are physically and mentally abused, they have a greater chance of developing mental issues, and leading a wrongful life. Child abuse plays the most influential role when it comes down to criminal behaviour. Most identified ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Some believe that genes and other mental disorders are the biggest cause of a life of crime. In 1993 the Netherlands conducted a study where a family of Dutch men with an aggressive history were reportedly missing the same gene. (BBC News, Are Murderers born or made?) Although missing this gene may cause violent outbreaks, the factor that triggers it abundantly, is the occurences in your childhood. As Jim Fallon says in his TED talk video, to fully express this gene you have to at a very early age or before puberty, be exposed to a very traumatic 3D event. Even though mental illness also plays a role in these notorious crimes, when a person tried to use the insanity plea, the justice system often goes back to see if their childhood persisted of any abuse or neglect. Although many factors play a role in the influence of these notorious crimes, child abuse is clearly the most influential. Child adolescence is a time period in our life that is the most crucial to us as humans. Most people who engage in criminal behaviour lack the love and nourishment of parental figures at a young age, which they then try to sadistically recuperate by committing these horrendous

  • 53. An Analysis Of Sunday In The Park With George Sunday in the Park With George: An Analysis White. A blank page or canvas. His favorite. So many possibilities. Sunday in the Park with George, a musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, is a very curious musical indeed. The first and second act are separated by a century, the protagonist manages to control the entirety of the show, from the way the story flows, the style, even down to the arrangement of the set pieces. The show transcends a traditional musical in the way it tackles a very specific issue, that of the artist s struggle to connect to the rest of the world. It has been argued that this show is completed in its first act, but that is actually not the case. Those that argue that the show is complete after the first... He finally finds confidence in himself when he reads from a grammar book with notes inside written by Dot, given to him by his own grandmother. While reading the notes Dot wrote, Dot appears to this younger George and addresses his doubts and tells him he needs to move on and stop worrying about if his work will please others. In this, George and Dot are finally reunited and George manages to find his vision again. The first act of the show introduces us to the struggle of our main character. George struggles with something that many artists struggle with: the need to create great work, often at the cost of other things in life. George s life is consumed by this, as shown in the number Finishing the Hat, where George expresses how his view of the world works. How you watch the rest of the world from a window, while you finish the hat. George laments on how his art consumes him and how he can only see the world through a window. The problem with the first act is that it never resolves this struggle with George. Without the second act, George never is fully resolved, left in this state of imbalance. The second act focuses on Seurat s descendent, and his focus on being a successful artist. This new George has both the same and opposite problem
  • 54. Epilogue To The Avengers They found themselves in a grand theater, with luxurious red seats and grand balconies lining the walls. But to the Avengers surprise, they weren t alone. A teenager stood on the stage, screaming furiously at a small group of people seated in the first few rows. She was long limbed and curvy, with tan skin and dark bags under her eyes. Her medium length brown hair was pulled up in a ponytail. She wore a strange ensemble, to say the least. She wore a long black vest with Her small hands proceeded to flutter through the air as she screamed at the subject of her rant, a silver haired man with an eyepatch and regal armor. The man being Odin, Thor s father. What the fuck were you thinking, you stupid, stupid bastard!? Not only did you proceed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The green woman began twitching, while the burly man with red tattoos roared. The bipedal raccoon swore the air blue, and made Steve turn red at some of the things that came out. The humanoid tree just smiled. Mika just laughed. Don t worry, they re all safe! She laughed. The Power Stone was found by Peter Quill, and was prevented from falling into the hands of Thanos by him, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Drax. She said, pointing to each of them in turn. The Mind Stone, which was the gem of Loki s scepter, was used to hypnotize Loki into retrieving the Space Stone inside of the Tesseract for Thanos. Currently, Loki, along with the other brainwashing victims, is being seen to by the resident healer Anthea. Mika said, her voice cold. She looked at Steve. By the way, Captain, an old friend of yours is in there too. James Barnes, I think. HYDRA s been brainwashing him for the past 70 years into doing their dirty work, and he ll need someone to help him fix what HYDRA s done to his memories. She said gently. Steve s eyes went wide, and he looked like he was about to cry. Bucky s alive? He breathed. Mika nodded. After Steve rushed off to find Bucky, Mika continued
  • 55. Recycling Vs Recycling The first step once every person or at least country is equipped with the money to start making changes is commit to the small stuff. This means recycle your paper, metal, class, and plastic. This is not hard, and you can even get a small amount of money back for some of your recycling. The government could be able to provide incentives for the people in the United States, and in other countries to get them to recycle. This could be as small as coupons to cash back. The next step is for manufacturing companies to quit producing items that will just break down in a few short years and rather start making things that are going to last along time and make them out of the correct materials. Plastic does not decompose but rather sits in a landfillfor hundreds of years. We need to eliminate the use of plastic and replace it with a material that will last, and once it is no longer useable it can be recycled again. As a community there needs to be changes made with in each. Transportation needs to be eliminated as much as possible unless you think that it is economically feasible for everyone to drop their old car and spring for the even more expensive electric car. We would have less of a problem with switching from gas to electric if it was possible to find an inexpensive part or make it possible for people to trade in and not pay in full for an electric car. But other means of transportation would not be difficult, you just have to have a system set in place such as steam
