In the final study, Kibira, Nansubuga, Tumwesigye, Atuyambe, Makumbi (2014) explored the relation
of HIV prevalence and risky sexual behaviors among circumcised and uncircumcised men in Uganda.
In the study design, 9,524 male participants aged 15 59 years old were studied from data from the
Uganda AIDS Indicator Survey. This national survey was divided into a two stage stratum cluster
sampling that involved selecting households for interview (Kibira et al., 2014). During the interview
of each household, blood samples were collected for HIV status, circumcision status, and interview
questions that addressed risky sexual behaviors including: unprotected sex, numbers of partners, and
transactional sex (Kibira et al., 2014).
Based on the result, there s a direct correlation of circumcised males with lower HIV prevalence
among all age groups. HIV prevalence was 35 37% lower in the circumcised men, after controlling for
several variables (Kibira et al., 2014). The study showed risky sexual behaviors are also important
factors affecting the HIV prevalence on both circumcised and uncircumcised men. The riskiest
behavior practice in all men was unprotected sex, followed by multiple sexual partners, and
transactional sex. The practice of risky sexual behavior was found to be significantly higher in

The Democratization of South Korea Long before the hustle and bustle of the big city, ages afore the
creation of one of the world s largest standing militaries, the Republic of South Korea was one of the
farthest governments from a democracy. Following the Japanese occupation of World War Two, the
South Korean government went through many different forms of authority. According to Jung Hae Gu,
professor of Social Sciences at the University of Sung Kong Hoe in Korea, and Kim Ho Ki, professor
of Sociology at Yonsie University in Korea, the Republic of Korea has so far went through a total of 6
different regime changes since the liberation from Japanese occupation (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). The shifts in
government occurred under various regimes, Rhee Syng Man, Park Chung Hee, Chun Doo Hwan, and
the June Uprising of 1987 (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). But the lead up to the democratization of South Korea has
a more fluid past though, one of hardship and struggle, fluctuation between authoritarian regimes and

as well. However, chemical or substance dependency is a mental issue. The mind tells the body that it
needs a certain substance to function, it is a craving that is difficult for the body to ignore, and the
body cannot function until such a need is met. The change in behaviors, mood and conscious

Under the umbrella of the Enlisted Professional Military Education section, I do have an Officer that
oversees my academy and the junior enlisted academy and is ultimately responsible for all that
happens or fails to happen. I have people in my organization that I feel are more of a barrier than and
