Candidates will evaluate their creative work digitally and reflect on the creative process. The evaluation can be done individually or with their production group, and may involve a formal or informal presentation. It must address four questions: how their media product uses or challenges real media conventions; the effectiveness of combining the main product with ancillary texts; what was learned from audience feedback; and how media technologies were used in construction, research, planning and evaluation. To receive the top mark, candidates must demonstrate excellent understanding and skills in using digital technology, understanding forms and conventions, the role of new media, combining main products with ancillary texts, significance of feedback, and ability to communicate.
