3. Audience Feedback
Throughout the planning and construction of my media products I used discussion groups
to find the opinions of those who would be my target audience. It was useful to receive
non-biased opinions and to work with the ideas of others to help improve my work so that
it suited my theme and audience.
For my main task I used the feedback I received from my discussion groups, I was able to
alter the framing of my shots after being told that they were too wide and took focus away
from the subject of the shot. I also chose the questions to include in my extract of
documentary from the feedback I received from those I interviewed, I found that some
questions suited the extra and interviewees better than others.

4. Audience Feedback
I used polls on Facebook to find out who would be the audience for my documentary, by
doing this I was able to design my documentary to the needs of my audience. I used
language and music choices that would suit my audience and allow them to connect with
my media product.
I was unable to decide upon music for my main task so I took to social media and asked for
people to choose which song they felt fit best with my theme and documentary. As I
developed my ancillary tasks I asked for feedback so that I would be able to find the
structure and layout that made my work compare to the style models.

5. Audience Feedback
From audience feedback I have been able to develop my skills on technologies such as
iMovie and Photoshop. I found that through feedback I was able to improve my work in a
way that suited the brief and my desired audience; the feedback allowed me to find new
ways around obstacles on the software that I was using.
From audience feedback I have learnt that audience opinion is key in terms of creating a
media product, I find that it is important to use the appropriate language and semiotics to
entice and engage an audience.
