2. Who's the audience?
Well, we have decided to have a target audience that consists of
females of ages 13-25 because we found that the average viewers for
high school dramas are mostly females roughly around this age. This
would be because in high school dramas, the main character is is
always nearly a female and the main plot is either a new event or they
have fallen inl ove, so since our film is a high school drama and its
genres are romance and comedy, we thought that we should have a
target audience of ages between 13-25 which are females. – this always
we can get a bigger audience since female viewers can relate to the
film easily.
We did not only create this film aimed at only females of this ages but
we also have a wider audience which would be males. To attract males
to our film, we have added a boy character which plays the role of
being a geek/loser boy.

3. The typical audience for high
school dramas.
To find out the typical audience that a high school drama
would get we used YouGOV to find out the profile of the
typical audience/ viewers that the film ‘Mean girls’ would
get. Which then appeared to have gathered other 200
profiles from the general public that had a interest in this
movie.
The reason behind why I chose to look up the audience for
‘mean girls’ is because we as a group were inspird by the
film ‘mean girls’ and also ‘breakfast club’ to creat our
own high school drama film.

we could get a
audience that would
be roughly round the

however mean girls
have scenes that are
