technologies in the construction
and research, planning and
evaluation stages?

2. • When undertaking my Media Studies practical project, I used a
variety of new media technologies. Technologies such as YouTube,
Final Cut Po, Adobe Photoshop CS6. With the help of these
technologies it greatly benefited my studies and allowed me to both
develop and enhance further my poster, magazine front cover and
film trailer.
• When undertaking my A2 Media practical, I was able to both develop
and expand on techniques learnt from AS. In my AS media practical, I
used ”Blogger” to record my progress with my work. This was
carried on and continued through to A2. When undertaking my
planning and research I used a 1080p Film Video Camera, to help film
“Live” responses after viewing my horror trailer for the first time.
• Furthermore, during my research and planning, I also used new
media technologies such as YouTube. This form of technology was
extremely beneficial when undertaking the research and planning
section of my A2 as it allowed me to research previous film trailers.
This allowed me to gain inspiration, as I was able to view other
horror/thriller trailers online.

9. • When undertaking the evaluation stage of my practical, I used a
combination of new media technologies such as filming for
evaluation, Slide share, Video edited on Final Cut and IMovie and
YouTube. To answer the four evaluation questions.
• I used new media technologies such as Slide Share and IMovie to
upload presentations on to my blog. This helped me answer the
evaluation question sin depth and helped me elaborate and expand
on specific points.
• As well as the ones mentioned above, I also used a green screen to
help discuss one of my evaluation questions, with videos and
images appearing behind me it helped me elaborate and expand on
specific points and make it more visually appearing.

10. • Again In the construction stage of my practical, I employed the use of
YouTube. This was used to help e upload videos filmed to help answer a
specific evaluation question and then helped me embedded It onto my
blog.
• I believe that by using new media technologies in my A2 practical project
was greatly beneficial as it allowed me to use new and innovative methods
of displaying information. I was able to use a variety of new media
technologies such as Slide Share, YouTube, IMovie, to help present the
content that I had created and designed in a professional manner.
• Overall, I believe that the new media technologies have enabled me to
create a far superior product as the use of technology/sites such as
YouTube and specific software like Final Cut Pro has allowed me to create
a final product which otherwise would not be possible.
