- 1. HOW DID YOU USE MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND RESEARCH, PLANNING AND EVALUATION STAGES OF YOUR TEASER TRAILER?
- 2. SECONDARY RESEARCH ◦ Resources were found on video sharing sights such as YouTube, however in order to ensure we were looking into successful and effective work we found forums discussing what the top ten romance films were throughout the last century.
- 3. PRIMARY RESEARCH ◦ For both audience research and focus group feedback, questionnaires and surveys were created using the programme word. This helped us create an official looking handout, as well as efficiently printing out a large sample. ◦ In order to analyse findings from our primary research we used Excel, a technological media programme which allowed us to create tables and charts.
- 4. PLANNING ◦ We created a story board online using a professional storyboard Throughout the duration of my A2 media coursework I recorded all my work on an online blog. Using this media technology was very benefiting as it allowed me to efficiently keep track of what I had completed. ◦ Another modern media technology I used when planning my A2 work was an app available to iPhone and other smartphones. It is a calendar which sends you reminders to deadlines as well as lets you note down any extra points you want to write. ◦ When organising the cast and crew we also used media technologies. We used group emails in order to contact a range of people.
- 5. CONSTRUCTION ◦ When constructing our film trailer we relied heavily on media technologies. We used several equipment in order to film our trailer such as- ◦ Camera, boom pole, tripod, LED light. ◦ In order to edit our work we needed to use the media technology Adobe Premier.
- 6. Evaluation ◦ When evaluating I have used word. I have also used publisher and excel to get back audience feedback which has allowed me to reflect on my work. I have also arranged focus groups which requires technologies such as emails.
