5. Who is our target
market?
Then establish who your audience
are. Justify this with reference to
your primary and secondary
audience research.
• Our target audience for our
teaser trailer is 15-40 year olds,
who are interested in crime
thriller mostly ,male and their
social class is C1, lower middle
class. The type of job that they
might would be supervisory or
clerical, junior managerial,
administrative or professional.
• Also in most mystery/drama
films there is strong language
and the scenario is that
revolves around the solution of
a problem or a crime and there
is a massive twist about half
way though the film. The
younger audience would like
this genre because there can
sometimes have scenes that
might be considered scary.
7. How did you use this feedback? Was it useful?
Did you make any changes to your work because
of it?
We got our audience
feedback thought feedback
forms that people in the
classroom completed in there
groups. we got feedback 3
times. Once for out pitch
presentation, then for our
rough-cut screening and lastly
for our final products. For our
final product we got feedback
from each induvial in the
class thought them
commenting on our YouTube
video.
This was helpful because it
allowed us to see what other
people think and understand
what they liked and what they
didn’t, and what they think we
could improve on. We made
some changes to our work
after getting our audience
feedback. We did this when
we showed a rough cut of our
teaser trailer. We changed the
sound because they thought
that it wasn’t loud enough.
8. Pitch Presentation feedback
The first time that we got
audience feedback was when
we did our pitch presentation
to our class for our teaser
trailer. We go feedback via a
question sheet that was
handed to each group. The
questions on this sheet helped
us understand what people
think about our teaser trailer
idea. It allowed us to see is
people understood what our
film was going to be about
and that the storyline was
clear.
