2. We have a consistent theme throughout our piece as our
performer, or star image, appears in all three texts. As well as our
star image being consistent throughout our piece his “Indie rock”
style clothing and themes remain consistent as can be seen by the
bandana, checkered shirt and colour scheme.
3. In our magazine advert we took a still from our actual video, of our artist’s
face, and then, adding some filters and effects, put it into and used it as our
main image for our magazine advert. By doing this we are keeping a strong
link between the texts allowing and audience to easily recognize the artist.
4. Similar shot of artists
face, as in video, allows
for continuity and easy
recognition of artist.
Many London
landmarks in
digipack, also
appear in Video.
Bright colour scheme
matches “indie, folk
rocky” genre.
The hot air
balloons are also a
consistent theme
throughout our
digipack.
5. Another consistency we kept was to use the same font across our tasks, our
idea behind this was so that the audience could again see the font and instantly
relate it to our artist. By keeping consistencies we are in the process of
creating our own recognizable brand.
6. Instead of a regular bar code we used a QR code. This QR code allows our
audience to scan it on their phones and it will take them to our instagram
page, where they can choose to follow our page and receive regular updates
with what we are doing.
