The combination of the trailer, poster, and magazine cover for a film promotional package are effective due to visual and thematic links between the materials. The trailer, poster, and magazine cover all prominently feature the film's logo and main character holding a gun. They utilize similar greyscale photo editing styles and depict the main character in an action-oriented manner fighting for justice. These similarities help tie the promotional materials together and clearly identify them as being associated with the same film.

4. Trailer and Poster
An instant link between all three products is the movie
title. In the trailer the movie logo is displayed at the
end along with the release date. This same logo is
spread across the centre of the poster which viewers
will straight away be able to make a link to. As you can
see throughout the trailer it mainly focuses on the main
character who is often holding a handgun. This is the
same character who appears in the poster. I think the
combination of the poster and trailer is good because of
these links that make them match up together nicely.

5. Trailer and Magazine
The same as the poster, the film logo is printed on the
screen. It is actually pinned onto the body of the cover
model which is the same main character of the movie.
On this magazine cover the main character of our movie
fills the whole page in a manor in which is resemblance
can not be missed. His action is hostile holding up a gone
towards someone. This may look similar to the shot in
the trailer of him firing his gun. There is a strong
combination because of these similarities from the
trailer to the magazine.

6. Magazine and Poster
The combination between the poster and magazine is actually very
good from my point of view. They both have very similar photo
editing effects to make them greyscale but still stand out bright. I
chose to make them both greyscale because it represented a dark
and dramatic theme. In both shots he holds his side arm fighting
for justice as he is the good guy in the film. It is important to have
the star of the film on both products because for the sake of the
project if we pretend he is a famous actor, then many of the
public would want to go to see the movie purely because they are
a fan of Ben Hafford. Finally, the two products are linked directly
through the film title being clearly displayed on both.
