Evaluation Activity 6

  What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
   constructing this product?
CAMERAS
• When producing our preliminary task, we
used a Sony camera, which in all honesty was
fairly useless. However, it served a purpose of
familiarising myself with a camera, the
  play/pause/stop/record buttons and learning
to upload to iMovie. The Canon 650D DSLR
camera's were used for the final piece, and
made a huge impact upon the quality of the
  picture of the opening.
TRIPOD
• Another key piece of equipment was the
tripod. It allowed for us to adjust shots to
  different heights for high/low angle
shots, panning and zooming to enhance
viewing for the audience and most
importantly added much focus to the shot
that couldn't be achieved by hand. Taking all
this into account, I have learnt how effective
the tripod is in film production.
FLIP CAMERA
• The flip camera became a very useful resource
for recording feedback from classmates on
various tasks and videos. As well as this, they
are also very easy and quick to upload files to
a desktop. From this, I have obviously learnt
how effective they are and useful when in
  situations to get quick feedback.
MACS
• The Macs were the most important tool for us.
They opened up a wide variety of programmes
for me such as iMovie and GarageBand, both
of which I have learnt to use.
BLOGGER
• The main programme I have learnt to operate
was blogger, uploading all of my work to the
site. A great benefit of using blogger was that
it was easily accessible, but also easy to post
work and edit if needed. Using blogger I have
also learnt how to upload YouTube clips and
how to embed Prezis and Slideshare
  presentations.
