2. Video camera and tripod
We borrowed both a video camera and tripod
from college. The tripod allowed us to keep a
steady shot from various heights and distances,
it also made our panning shots look professional
as possible. The viewing screen on the camera
let us how the framing would work and what the
lighting would look like on screen.
3. Final Cut Express
Final Cut Express allowed us to edit our footage
including putting the shot we wanted in
order, things we had shot that we chose to cut
out and change the pace of shots by shortening
them. It allowed us to place them anywhere we
wanted, some sounds we recorded then
replaced the original sound with them. Another
feature it allowed us to add was inter titles, by
creating them in photoshop then adding them
in, in appropriate places.
4. Photoshop
In the construction stage we created things such
as inter titles on photoshop. Another thing we
used photoshop for was our company logos.
The main use of photoshop was during the
construction of our print work. Both on the
magazine cover and our poster it allowed us to
add layers and text to build upon the initial
image.
5. Blogger
Blogger was a way of presenting my work
electronically, it allowed me to access it from
anywhere and also aced as a form of
communication between myself and my group.
It shows the process we went through during
researching, planning and constructing our
products. It helped me share my products with
my teacher and so they could give me quick
responses. It also allows you to upload pictures
and videos easily.
6. Photobooth
We used photo booth as a means of logging
peoples responses to our products, it allowed us
to record peoples feed back so that we could go
back ad watch it. We also recorded some
thoughts that we had in the planning stage to
discuss some of the ideas we had for our
products.
7. Mac
We used Mac computers throughout this
coursework, it had all the software needed
already installed including photoshop, final cu
express etc. Macs work a lot faster than other
computers which enabled me to produce a
higher standard of work faste. I also fund Macs a
lot easier.
