The document discusses the creation of a film poster and film review as ancillary tasks to promote a short film. Photoshop was used to design both pieces as it allowed for professional manipulation of images and text. Color schemes, fonts, layouts, and images were carefully selected to convey the drama genre of the film and elicit interest from the target audience. Feedback acknowledged strengths in telling the film's story but also opportunities for improvement in the designs.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING.ppt for graduating class (1).ppt
Evaluation activity 2 imporved
1. HOW EFFECTIVE WAS THE
COMBINATION OF THE ANCILLARY
TASK AND YOUR PRODUCT?
Evaluation question 2
2. THE OBJECTIVE OF OUR ASSIGNMENT
• The aim of our assignment was to create a short film which would be approximately 5
minutes in length. The genre of the film could be anything out of drama, action, horror/
thriller or romance.
• After making our film we would have to make both a film poster to advertise the films
release and a film review giving expert opinion on the film.
3. WHAT WAS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE
ANCILLARY TASK?
• The aim of the ancillary task was to create two pieces of promotional material. One
being a poster ( visual ) and a film review ( written text ).
• Both of the pieces of promotional material were supposed to be something that our
target audience could relate to. Both the film review and the film poster were supposed
to signal the genre of the film and give the target audience a hint of what the storyline
will be.
• Both the film poster and film review were to be made as high quality materials. So the
actual pictures used for the poster and film review were taken on a high quality camera
and it was produced on Photoshop to ensure it was appealing.
4. PHOTOSHOP CS6
• Both my film review and film poster tasks were carried out on Photoshop, this was the
best software available for me to use as it had a vast amount of tools, and allowed me to
manipulate the images effectively in order to convey messages in both my ancillary
tasks. The result of using Photoshop is that both the film review and the poster and film
review had a professional outlook to them, and this is something that probably wouldn’t
have been achieved on any other software, for example Microsoft publisher it would look
amateur in comparison. As this was going to be shown to target audiences
professionalism and creativity was paramount and Photoshop was the best software to
display this.
5. COLOUR SCHEME FOR FILM REVIEW &
POSTER
Red – this was used to signify danger and pain. This
demonstrates the mental trauma she experiences
throughout the duration of the film, whilst also highlighting
how dangerous her inner demons are, and what effect
they have on her.
Black – this is again a colour that is typically
associated with negativity. It is a dark colour, which is
representative of the darkness going on within that
Natalie is experiencing.
6. HOW DID THE POSTER MEET THE DRAMA
GENRE
The title behind the true
image suggests that Natalie
has many dimensions to her
character.
Natalie in a reflective
manor, and looking as
though she is
struggling with
something. The real life
situation she is facing
is something that is
conventional in this
genre. This angle in
most cases would
bring empowerment,
however the eyes
behind, representing
her emotions are
higher up therefore in
control.
The variation on the colours
shows reflects a range of
emotions she is experiencing
at one time. The red used in
the title, was there to signify
the danger that her inner
demons bring.
The eyes in the background overlooking her, is
representative of her demons within, and is what is
behind her true image. Additionally the graphite was
something usually associated with hooligans and
lower class people, the fact that this is surrounding
Natalie insinuates that she isn’t held in high regard
and she is a social outcast.
Changeable colour scheme in
the text represents her
changeable personality and
her other dimensions. Also
representative of the
complexity of her lifestyle.
The use of imagery
conveys the emotion
of the character, and
through semiotics and
unravelling the
signage we can depict
the cause of her
emotion.
Having Natalie in the
background with the
opacity lower holds the
connotation as the real
Natalie fading away and
her inner demons taking
over.
7. IMAGES USED FOR FILM POSTER
This image portrays Natalie’s emotional state,
and she is reflecting on her life's current
situation. From this we can also see that
she's in a distressed mood, and this is a good
image as it tells a story as to what the film is
about.
With some changes to the colour done on
Photoshop I feel this was the most suitable
and meaningful background. The eyes
Behind Natalies head, reflects that there is
something that is hidden within, and there
are inner demons, and this is what I aimed
to portray.
8. FONTS USED FOR MY POSTER
Steel Tongs – this was used to ensure that the film poster had a professional
outlook. This is the font which would typically be used in a film poster, and it
doesn’t have an overriding effect on the poster, by drawing attention away
from the more important elements.
Impact – this was used to ensure that the title of the film stood
out. Furthermore we used the same font in the tagline and the
name of the actress, to keep consistency in this poster.
The font Hobo STD was used to ensure that the films
rating stood out. We had to ensure that the font was
readable as there were colour collisions in the
background, and this was one of them that stood out the
most.
9. FILM REVIEW
Times new roman was the
font I used for the actual
content of my film review, I
used this because it is a
classic font, doesn't look
out of place on my film
review, and it is also easy
to read.
Avenir Demi bold was used for
the title. I used this as it was
simple and it stood out, which is
imperative in a title. These two
effects that the font has, means
that it is easier to remember the
title, which is key when
advertising a film.
Avernir demi bold italic –
this was used as again it
stood out, and it was
simplistic. Additionally I
chose the italic version so
I could differentiate
between that and the title.
Arial was used for the
verdict, as it is classic and I
felt it suited the design of the
film review.
The text used for the quote was
Gothic Century Bold. This was
used as it was simple effective
and it stood out. This was useful
as we could convey the message
of the film being “gripping and
inspirational” effectively, and the
target audience would be aware
of these qualities.
The text in the film
review was
informative, which
was the primary
purpose it was
serving. The
audience would then
have a taster as to
what the film was
about.
10. PICTURES USED FOR MY FILM REVIEW
This picture was used to convey Natalies
emotions in the film review. She has her head
in her hands which demonstrates a large
degree of anguish, and this was used in the
film review, as I believe it was fairly obvious
from this to understand what kind of emotions
Natalie experiences throughout the film.
This picture amplifies Natalie's
depression and anguish throughout
the film, making it clear as to what the
storyline would be. This picture
demonstrates her going of the rails
and that there was self harm in this
film. This was also a high angle shot
looking down on her to show again
her inferior state throughout the film.
11. EVOLUTION OF MY FILM REVIEW
.
.
The first film review I
made here I was
relatively happy with
although I was aware I
could still make vast
improvements to them.
The layout could have still
been much improved and
the typography was weak.
Additionally the spacing
between the paragraphs
was too large, on face
value it would still look
close to professional but
the objective was to make
it appeal so I decided to
improve upon this.
The final draft of my film
review was much improved.
The typography which was
the weakest aspect of my
previous film review became
one of the strongest, and
also the spacing was much
less so it looked ore like a
film review. Additionally I got
new inspiration from another
film review and changed the
layout to something more
creative. The result of these
changes is that it was more
professional and more
appealing to our audience.
12. MY INSPIRATIONS
My inspiration for my film review came from the empire
magazines. More specifically this one from paranormal activity.
This is the typical layout for a film review where there is a
meaningful picture which stands out at the top, and then the
title and tagline just below it, I have made slight changes the
layout and colour scheme to make it my own, but this is the film
review I based it on.
The simplistic structure of my poster was based on
this film poster. Where I had the actors names at the
top, and the title and tagline at the bottom. Additionally
looking at this film poster gave me the idea to add an
extravagant background which stands out, in order to
make my film poster one which people remember.
13. SUMMARY
• To conclude I feel that the use of the Text Imagery and colour scheme all culminated in creating a good
advertisement for our film.
• Both the film review and the poster told a story as to what was going to happen in the film, and for our
target audience in particular it is something that would entice the potential audience.
• Both of them followed the codes and conventions which was something I aimed to do which makes it
more appealing to the audience.
• Admittedly the design of both of them could have been improved, and also the parts of the design that
were good could’ve been carried out better. The placement of the image on the film review could have
been better along with the fact that there was still quite a lot of space still that could have been filled.
As well as in the poster the cropping around the image, and the colours colliding in some areas not
making the text visible.
