This document discusses three cinematography techniques: match on action, which portrays continuity of character movement; the 180 degree rule, which uses an imaginary line to maintain continuity of characters' positioning on screen; and shot reverse shot, which alternates between two characters in a conversation to distinguish who is speaking.
