Akasha used both Mac and Windows computers during her project. She found the Mac difficult to use at first due to being unfamiliar with it, but used iMovie software on the Mac to create her film opening. When the Mac wasn't available, she used Windows and Movie Maker, which was easier for her. She recorded her film opening using a Nikon camera, which she found easier to use than a phone camera. Various software programs and online tools were used, including iMovie, Photoshop, Prezi, Slideshare, Mind Meister, Dafont, Freeplay Music and Blogger. Youtube was used to upload and annotate videos.

2. Throughout the majority of my project I have
used a Apple Mac computer. This was useful
when editing my film opening as it contains
the software ‘iMovie’. Using a Mac was new for
me as I have never used one before, I didn’t
find it a good experience as I found it hard to
get used too. Although it was a good
experience and was worth while.
For when the Mac wasn’t available to me I used a Windows
computer. On this computer I also developed my
preliminary task and audience expectations video using
‘windows movie maker’. This was an easy and efficient task
for me as I was used to the workings of a windows
computer.

3. I used a Nikon Coolpix L310 to record my
film opening. Compared to the mobile
phone I found it easy to use the camera.
Although I chose to use a camera from
than a video camera I found the motion
picture came out in good quality.

7. Blogger is the basis of my work
as I was able to show my
research, planning, production
log and evaluation. As I have
used blogger before it was
easy to use although I learnt
new functions from it such as
embedding. This was good use
of an online website.
Youtube is a popular online website that
the worlds population uses. I used
Youtube to upload all the videos that I
made such as my certificate ratings and
film opening. Although I used Youtube
quite a lot I found it difficult to upload a
video although it was an obvious task.
I also used Youtube to annotate my film
opening which is a task that I enjoyed.
