1. How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation?

2. Movie editing When editing our music video’s we use a software called iMovie. This software is made for Apple Macs’ which were the computers that we were using. When using this software you can cut and edit footage that you have filmed, when using this software it made it easier to lip sync. But with this It took a lot of time to get all the lip syncing at the same time as the visuals. 9

3. Desktop publishing I used Serif Page Plus on the school computers to make my ancillary task of my CD, the reason I used this software is because I have had past experience with using this software therefore it would have been easier for me to use this software rather than a new one. To make my magazine advert I used Serif Photo Plus, again I used this software because I have had past experiences with it so it would have made it easier for me to use something I already know how to use.

4. Camera and Tripod We took out a school camera and tripod when filming, the camera’s are easy to use but we found when going out to film that the battery didn’t last a very long time and some of the tripods were broken which meant trying to find something else to use as a tripod. When we uploaded our footage, we found that it didn’t look as good as we thought it would look, the camera’s had trouble picking up light and made our footage look grainy, but as it was the only equipment available to us at school it would work fine for our music video with the addition of lights and filming at different times of the day.

5. Blogger This website was used as my online diary, it is a place where I can show my planning of tasks, problems, and where I can showcase my final product. I liked working on blogger but sometimes it can take a long time for things to upload. A good thing about using blogger is that other people can look at my work and give me advice and I can do the same to them.

6. Bluetooth I used Bluetooth when I wanted to upload still images that I had taken when were out filming to show our location shots, we also use still images in our music video to show fast cut montage,

7. Software used within blog I used slide share to upload PowerPoint presentations in my blog, to make it look neat and so its easy to understand.
