- The student planned their project well by researching the horror genre, including looking at popular classics to understand conventions. For example you knew which shots you needed to capture and what order to edit it in, this helps the process to be smoother. - We planned out our project quite well, we made sure that we researched quite well into the genre, we looked specifically at existing companies and the way they portray and create there movies. We created a prezzi to show of our research into the genre, we focused mainly on the history of horror movies and looked deeply into some of the popular classics. The research provided us with a good idea into what makes a horror movie good. We found out what the popular movies had in common and what conventions where used the most. We also created a storyboard to show our idea in full, we used this form of idea to show of our product because we thought it was not only the easiest to read in forms of film but also the easiest way to show people exactly what we want to include in the product. All this detailed planning helped us create a good final product because we got ideas which where common in a lot of horror movies and added them into ours. The conventions that the other horror movies followed obviously made the movies popular. For this reason we tried to follow these conventions.
