2. Introduction
 One of the leading experts on celebrity and pop
culture memorabilia in the United States, Nelson
Deedle has been appraising and selling items from a
wide range of celebrities for more than two decades.
Serving both regular collectors and celebrities, he has
helped several icons find pieces to support their
charitable efforts, including Dame Elizabeth Taylor,
with whom Nelson Deedle joined forces to support the
Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
Since its founding in 1991, the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS
Foundation (ETAF) has been committed to fighting
HIV/AIDS by increasing awareness of the disease and
raising funds to support various AIDS organizations.

3. Grants
 All of the money raised by ETAF goes toward funding other
AIDS organizations, and the foundation focuses on
supporting organizations that either provide AIDS education
to the public or provide care to individuals who live with
HIV/AIDS. Over the course of its existence, ETAF has
provided more than $17 million in funding.
In 2015, ETAF provided grants to more than 350
organizations around the world, including the Bugangaizi
Self-Help Alliance Program in Uganda, EBA/EVA in Russia,
and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation in California. The
funds will go toward everything from supporting mobile clinics
and promoting treatment adherence for youth to funding
couples testing and integrated care services. Grant funds last
only one year, and organizations are not guaranteed funding
in consecutive years.
