This session explores the Fundraising Effectiveness Project report commissioned by AFP and the Urban Institute. The dismal news in this report can and should be an eye opener for every nonprofit engaged in fundraising.
We will focus on the root causes of poor retention rates, and offer tips for improvement based on the principles of Dr. Adrian Sargeant and Tom Ahern: two world-renowned authorities on building donor loyalty. We will show examples of their principles in action. The results can be astounding when put into daily use!
Learning Outcomes:
- Be familiar with current research on donor retention and how an increase or decrease can impact your bottom line
- Understand how to calculate your donor retention rate
- Learn new donor communications techniques in order to improve donor loyalty and retention

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

4. Value to our donors
PledgeGo works with a select group of
charities with a track record of creating the
greatest impact to society.
Our goal is to put our donor’s money to the
highest and best use.
Whether our charities address homelessness,
poverty, education, healthcare, or the
environment to name a few, they create the
greatest impact in their fields.
5. How we find the best
charities ?
1. PledgeGo reviews every charity that
launches a fundraiser on our platform.
2. Each charity completes a questionnaire,
participates in a number of interviews,
and submits organizational documents for
review.
3. We track & measure how funds (raised
on PledgeGo) are spent & the impact they
create.

charities addressing the most critical
issues facing society
