Second I think that people weren t necessarily sure that what they saw was a real event. Sure, it
clearly happened, but the events seemed fictional because of their magnitude. I know that even
though I saw footage of the attacks, it still seems surreal. The magnitude of the attack makes it
seem like something that no one would expect to actually happen to us. Overall I think that those
who did not turn off their cameras did something positive because we would not see so much about
the attacks or ever forget them with this much visual coverage of it.

previously calved 2 or 3 before and were in early, 50 70 days, lactation during the study. The trial
took place for a span of 60 days, 30 during the May June months and the other 30 in the August
September months. 6 buffalo were placed under constantly running water showers (Group 1),
while the other 6 were allowed to wallow in a water pond from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M (Group 2). They
collected blood samples from both groups on 3 day intervals for both trial time periods, specifically
testing for plasma thyroxine (T4), triiodothyronine (T3), cortisol, and insulinhormones. During the
study the buffalo had ad lib water and access to green maze fodder. They wanted to also see how
differences in humidity would impact the effectiveness of the cooling methods and how it would
impact the buffalos milk and feed yields. The average temperature humidity index (THI) was
80.3% during the hot dry season and 83.6 during the hot humid season. The results showed that
the buffalo that wallowed in the water pond had a higher average plasma T4 and insulin level

vDuring the Victorian era, medicine was not as advanced as it is today. Medical practices
employed techniques that have been used for a very long time. Even when there were new
breakthrough in medicine, doctors, such as physicians, surgeons and apothecaries barely used them.
Medical training in the early nineteenth century was very different and diverse. Even though
some people had degrees from colleges that were very advanced and very known, some were

sanctions against them.
In the United Kingdom, there were three groups of authentic medical groups. They were the

dance Homecoming to the song Traditional African Music Compilation by Kevin Macleod. This
dance is a symbol of all we have learned this semester and our intent was to demonstrate that. This
semester we studied tribal dance, more specifically african dances, such as the Maasai Jumping
Dance. We also learned about war dances and the different reasons villages dance during times of
war. We attempted to include elements of all these different dance styles relating to our theme.
This project is the only time I have ever been able to perform on a stage for an audience, whether it

In a modern society we are led to believe that there is a fair exchange taking place when
workers(working force?) sells their labour power ( Gary Lapon, 2011.).( define this) Karl Marx
believed that the working class were being exploited through laborious jobs. In today s society
wages are determined by the current cost of living within provinces across Canada. Usually the
wage workers receive do not allow for many to live a comfortable life yet we continue to work
these jobs as they feel we have no other option. This feeling of desperation comes from the term
wage slavery (cite ), where one feels as though they are stuck working a job that makes them
unhappy, so they remain feeling successful or are able to meet the cost of living. As a result of
wage slavery, employees come into work on days that they had previously booked off, are
frightened to call in sick when sick and often take abuse from their boss. Employees are showing
up with their work persona, believing that these low wages are equal when in reality they are not

In Literature, writers apply allegory to add various layers of significance to their works.
Furthermore, allegory makes their stories and characters, intricate, so that they represent something
greater than their literal standing. Provided that, how is Lord of the Flies, an allegory for humanity?
As a matter of fact, several characters in the novel represent a larger aspect, and together, unite the

The final character, Simon, is a religious symbol. Simon exemplifies the spiritual side of man,
for he is compassionate, peaceful, and in conformity with nature. On page 50, Simon is the only
boy helping Ralph build the shelter, proving to be compassionate. His persona is akin to that of
