What Is Abu Ghraib Unethical
A prison located in Iraq, Abu Ghraib was occupied by United States army in the early 2000s,
where Iraqi detainees and tortured. While the United States hoped to acquire information about
terror in hopes to save a greater number of people, reducing other people to merely a means was
unethical. In this review of the case of Abu Ghraib, I will examine various events and possible
contributing factors to unethical treatments of prisoners. Further, This essay will explore two
opposing perspectives for and against reasoning for tortures. To respond to the unethical nature of
the guards behavior, I will apply Kant s method to ethics. Additionally, while trying to explain why

completely unethical. Immanuel Kant in his book Religion within the Bounds of Reason Alone
(Part I: On the Indwelling of the Bad Principle along with the Good; or, On the Radical Evil in
Human Nature) , explains evil as knowing the difference between good and evil and choosing to
do evil. Some of the guards from Abu Ghraib stated they knew some of the abuse techniques
where unreasonable however they want to head to do it. Additionally while trying understanding
morality and society, Kant uses the categorical imperative. Kant s categorical imperative holds
that to indicate whether an act is ethical, apply your maxim as a universal law if the result is
positive then the act is acceptable. In the case study of Ghraib, Kant will respond by considering
the result of making extreme torturous to gain information while dehumanizing people is made

Lady Macbeth s Vaulting Ambition
In the beginning of the tragic play Macbeth by William Shakespeare one sees that Macbeth and
Lady Macbeth are an ideal couple, but both suffer from a serious flaw ambition that destroys their
lives.
Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are an ideal couple in the beginning of the play. King Duncan favours
them, they have good friends and they have a happy marriage. Macbeth considers Lady Macbeth
his equal and one can see that when he addresses her as My dearest partner of greatness. He shares
all this thoughts and plans with her. But both have vaulting ambition which destroys their lives.
Firstly, the evil queen , the antagonist of Macbeth. Her vaulting ambitions drives her to call upon
the forces of darkness and asks to be filled ...from the crown to the toe, top full of direst cruelty.
One cannot tell whether she is ambitious to be queen or for her husband to be king, but
nevertheless it is ambition that drives her to kill King Duncan. She thinks a little water washes

Macbeth destroys his own life with his very own hands. Ambition turns Macbeth into traitorous,
deceitful, mean, evil character with no conscience. He loses all his honourable qualities like
being a brave soldier, loyal, superstitious, caring, kind. He loses his Christian beliefs when he can
t even say amen . His bad side takes over completely as he solely sticks by fair is foul and foul is
fair and cannot perceive anything beyond that. Macbeth even kills his own best friend for the
sake of ambition. He becomes so obsessed with being king that he is unaffected by her death
and one sees that when he says she should have died hereafter, there would have been a time for
such a word . By the time Macbeth realises his mistake its too late, his life comes to an end. He
has lost his wife, his best friend and all his admirable qualities that everyone

experiential learning theory, student learning styles and learning space in this report. Experiential
learning theory have six propositions: Learning is best conceived as a process, not in terms of
outcomes ; All learning is relearning ; Learning requires the resolution of conflicts between
dialectically opposed modes of adaptation to the world ; Learning is a holistic process of adaptation
to the world ; Learning results from synergetic transactions between the person and the environment
; and Learning is the process of creating knowledge . This report also point out four basic learning
styles include diverging, assimilating, converging, and accommodating. Authors think learning
space was influenced by people and environment, under this kind of situation learning space can be
formed into the behaviors which combines position, region, locomotion, equilibrium of forces,
positive and negative valence, barriers in the person and the world, conflict, and goal . Then they
use learning space framework method and depend on three different universities in order to study
learning space. After their complete analysis, they conclude enhance experiential learning in higher

Gantt Chart Analysis
Introduction
I have been assigned the job of creating a project schedule for the construction of a new hotel
complex in Preston Town Centre; it is next to a major roundabout in the town centre which is less
than half a mile away from the local train station and bus station. As planning permission has been
approved, work will begin shortly on constructing the complex.
I have been given a list of all the major tasks that are included in building the complex as well as
the duration of each task and an approximate cost of each job, as per standard I will be charging

It needs a good procurement policy to find the best and most realistic cost for each of the task.
The analysis needs to be consistent as it relies on being accurate to complete the analysis as if it
isn t consistent then there will be problems if they are not spotted and rectified before the
construction of the complex.
If the analysis does not have good documentation the project will fail as there will be no
explanation or details on how the construction should work, there would be no approximate dates
for when each task is due to be started or finished, as well as the approximate duration of tasks.
This means that as important as costing is, it ensures that the company can make a profit from the
project or they will not want to extend their business if it will lose them money as they will have to

The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 was amended in August 2011. It presented the implements of
existing types of forbidden online gambling, and also checked the ability to eliminate harms that
online gambling could bring to consumers.
Economic The Australian gambling market is remarkable in the world s gambling industry. It has
already been mature and showed a very strong growing momentum with 2.9% annually over the
last five years, and it was predicted that the growth rate would be constant in a medium term period.
(Sudarsanam, 2011)There are four categories of gambling activities. Gaming is the largest type with
the annual turnover over $10.2b, and other three types are Casino, wagering and lotteries, and the
annual turnover was $3.2b, $2.6b and $2.1b respectively. (Sudarsanam, 2011)
Social Although gambling industry can bring more employment opportunities and offer diversified
leisure activities for the public, it could also lead harms. Problem Gambling is the main
disadvantage that gambling produced, it may result in an increasing number of personal
bankruptcy, suicide, crime and child welfare may be ignored and so on (Williams, Rehm Stevens,

China s Nationalism And Isolation From Western Society
For thousands of years China has operated dynastically, in a cyclic mode, causing no forward
movement or linear progress. China s ethnocentrism and isolation from Western society led to
internal disorder. The isochronous nature of the Chinese feudal system eventually led to the demise
of the last dynasty, the Qing Dynasty, in 1911. This vulnerability provided Western influence
allowing for imperialism throughout the country. Students and intellectuals with Westernized
educations saw that the political and social turmoil was attributed to a long history of rejection of
anything Western. On May 4, 1919, students led a revolt, called the May Fourth Movement, against
Confucian culture promoting science, democracy, and anti imperialism. The May Fourth
Movement was a period of total iconoclasm, of complete rejection of past tradition, and of absolute
ratification of western ideals resulting in a literary revolution. By exploring Lu Xun s realist
writing style and Yu Dafu s romantic writing style, the true function of literature during the May
Fourth era is revealed.
May Fourth Background: The May Fourth movement occurred as a response to the Chinese
government s poor response to the Treaty of Versailles, known as the Shandong problem. The
Treaty of Versailles took the rights to the Shandong providence, in China, from Germany and gave
them to Japan. When attending the meeting, China came with three requests; first was abolition of
all foreign privileges, second was the

Asian Carp Case Study
The threat of the Asian Carp entering Lake Michigan s waterways has now become a serious
issue. The main access into Lake Michigan for the Asian Carp would be through the Chicago
Sanitary and Ship Canals which connects to the Mississippi River. These natural waterways
have also been connected to man made rivers to allow easier access to the lake for trading and
transporting goods. Though along the river there are a couple of dams, this does not stop the
Asian Carp, but merely slows the Carps movement. Their solution for this problem was to build an
electrified barrier to keep the Asian Carp out of the Lake. In December of 2009 the U.S. Army

The Cultural Analysis On The Maasai
To fully comprehend the connection between cultural, environmental, and increasingly globalized
forces on the Maasai, we must first understand the concept behind all of these factors about human
society as a whole. Starting with the way humans acclimate to the environment around them and
how the way the environment affects the progress and functions of a culture. The societies that are
living in much more dangerous circumstances of climate face a more perplexing means of
survival just as the Inuit people who are from the northern part of Canada or even pastoralist
societies in dry East Africa. Finishing the conversation of theory with a clarification of the
struggles over ownership of land that is shaped by the growing effects of conservation and
globalization. The theory part follows the Maasaiand the cultural analysis in specific. The cultural
analysis on the Maasai involves four notions that are necessary to understand the full
comprehension about the effects of globalization that have had an effect on Maasai culture and the
neighboring environment. By first evaluating the difference between the Maasai s traditional
beliefs along with the modern forces of globalization, this will also explain the process of
appropriation of the Maasai land by colonialists, like Germany and also Great Britain, along with
added limitation of land usage which is due to the conservation and privatization of land by the post
colonial government bodies. The final notion that is found in the

Water Recycling Reduces Drinking Water Scarcity Essay
Water Recycling
A Regional Administrator named Felicia Marcus once stated, Water recycling is a critical element
for managing our water resources. Her statement symbolizes modern technological ideals to
increase the reuse of water. Also known as water reclamation, water recycling is the process of
extracting previously used water and treating it for reuse. Currently, modern technologies have
allowed the application of recycled water to enter many different areas. Reclaimed water is cleaned
and redistributed for land irrigation, to recharge ground water, for industrial applications (cooling
the water for power plants and oil refineries), for toilet water, to irrigate golf courses and to create
artificial snow. By utilizing the many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Recycled water not only helps decrease human habitat destruction, it also is considered more
effective than natural water for agricultural irrigation. At first, farmers were skeptical of using a
previously contaminated water to irrigate their food crops. However, when studied in further detail
it was determined that reclaimed water actually contributed to plant growth. The added nutrients in
the recycled water improve crop quality and development, without polluting the crops themselves.
Farmers and others that use recycled water regularly also appreciate the dependability of receiving
the reused water. Use of reclaimed water decreases the chance of future drought and insures farmers
a more stable source of water than ever before.
In contrast, there are also many problems and questions linked to the reuse of water.
Economically, the initial installation to supply recycled water to an area can be expensive, and
complicated. Separate pipes and specific labeling is required for all reclaimed water distribution.
Another concern in using recycled water is its potential health risks. A study done by three Bay
Area scientists was conducted to search for Salmonella, Cyclospora and E. Coli 0157:H7 within
water after it had been disinfected in the tertiary stage of recycling. Fortunately the scientists did not
find any of the three bacteria within the reclaimed water, further

Force Field Analysis
In creating a force field analysis, I first had to look at the presenting problem of what I plan to
change within my agency. For my field practice assignment, I am working in conjunction with my
supervisor (Assistant Director) and the Director of the program on implementing changes to the
provider s contract. There are many policies and procedures that are being violated on the provider
s end of the contract that are in turn causing violations with the Department of Health and A.C.D.

issues that we face with the providers. In consultation with my supervisor and other caseworkers, it

Child care providers must re apply for their license every two years and then once they submit
their new license to the network, they then sign a new contract. What could cause the contract
from not being revised would be its disapproval from the Vice President of the child care division.
In addition, if the provider s contract were to stay the same there would be no progression or drive
from the providers to adhere to the guidelines that have changed within the Department of Health
and the Child Care Network. The Critical Actors of the change would be the Vice President, the
Director and the Assistant Director. The driving force of the Vice President would be that she is
very much for a change in the providers behavior and professional attitudes toward the parents and
the caseworkers. She would also like to establish a more business like attitude with the caseworkers,
other network staff, and the parents. Lastly, she is looking for the providers to learn more
educational techniques from the trainings and workshops that are offered for them through the
network. The restraining forces would be that she would not approve the contact because its trying
to implement too much change at one time. Another restraining factor would be that the providers
would contact the UFT union (United Federation of Teachers) because of the extra demands that
are being asked of them without extra monetary compensation. A final restraining force of why she

James Paul Gee s What Is Literacy
If Gee s What is Literacy were a boat, we d all be bailing water.
In recent weeks all of us have been introduced to the essay What is Literacy written by Linguist
James Paul Gee in 1987. Within this document we learn Gee is going to employ his learned
skills to provide a useful definition for the word literacy. Prior to providing us this insight,
however, Gee must educate the reader on various definitions, idea and numerous theories in an
effort to provide support for his conclusions and ultimately woo the reader into believing the
postulations he makes. It is my belief that while Gee is eventually able to turn the reader to his
way of thinking, he is not able to as eloquently as he would like. In fact, upon closer examination, I

immediately adds the adjectives dominant and powerful as a means to better express the meaning
of the definition he has provided in the very next sentences. While I acknowledge that for purpose
of this essay Gee s definition may offer up a viable definition to support his arguments, it is by no

Congress Review Act Analysis
With Republican President, Donald Trump, and the Republican Party holding the majority of both
chambers of the 115th Congress, passing environmental protection legislation doesn t seem to be a
priority (or even a thought). Not only are Congress and the President ignoring environmental
protection, but they have also worked together to reverse current environmental protection
regulations. Normally, repealing any form of legislation is a lengthy and challenging task.
However, during the spring of 2017, the Legislative and Executive branches were able to quickly
and easily get rid of two environmental protection rules. This ease of change definitively had do
with the legislation being bureaucratic agency rules and laws. Though, not only were... Show more

Additionally, the intent of the procedure is pretty pointless because the president could just
override an agency rule. Though, because the tool is meant for Congress but has a road block of
the presidency, this Congressional tool has barely left the toolbox. In fact, it has only worked
one time before 2017 (Feller). However, since Trump was sworn into office, the CRA has
resurfaced. When a political party takes over the Presidency with control of both Congressional
chambers this device can be very affective. Because the CRA allows the 60 day disapproval
window, many of Obama s midnight regulations were at risk of being overturned. Specifically, in
the Congress and Trump were able to roll back 14 out of the 15 Obama regulations that fell into
the 60 day window (Larkin). The Stream Protection Act was one of these 14 disapprovals that
was passed in the spring of 2017. In December of 2016, the Federal Office of Surface Mining
Reclamation and Enforcement issued a regulation requiring coal companies to monitor water
quality near mines. Specifically, the rule established a buffer zone rule, blocking mining within
100 feet of streams. In general, the rule put stricter regulations on coal mining companies in
efforts to reduce pollution and preserve natural resources (Feller). This rule was in effect for a
very short period before the new President and Congress changed it. This rule disapproval was

did country and market conditions have on this? What is the importance of social capital and

Domino s Pizza: A strategy to enter the Czech food service market
Introduction
Domino s Pizza is among America s favourite pizza chains and, although it ranked below well
known chains such as Papa John s and Pizza Ranch, the company still managed to have a slightly

and his brother James in the city of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Domino s experience a rapid growth and

Satire Essay
Satire is a great tool used by many writers and actors since ancient times. The earliest example
that we know about is a script from 2nd millennium BC in Ancient Egypt (Definition: Satire) and
since then has evolved into a great part of our society. Satire is used to point out the faults of
human vice in order for change and reform in either of two ways. There is a very bitter Juvenalian
or a mild and light Horatian. In order to fully understand these forms of satire, method, purpose, and
applications will be addressed.
The best ways to present satire is either through incongruity, parody, reversals, or exaggeration.
When a writer presents incongruity, there are elements that are out of place, and they shouldn t be
there. This not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For this reason, satire offends very few people, but still inspires that important change. Whatever
form satire takes is how this will be accomplished. If it is Juvenalian, it is done with indignation
and harshness. This tone is somewhat dark and makes inspires change though a form of
resentment. This is usually more successful than the other because anger causes action. The other
form is Horatian, and is the amused and witty form of satire. It is presented as mockery, but never
to insult or offend anyone. This is just to show the faults of something and make people realize why
they are wrong. Both encourage change, and both are important.
Arguably, one of the most successful Juvenalian satires ever written is A Modest Proposal by
Jonathan Swift. Swift satirizes many things in the essay, with the most prevalent being the way
that England treats Ireland. Many of the inhabitants living there were poverty stricken and
starving to death. Swift then presents his plan to sell the children for food and that way they
could earn a little bit of cash. He says, I have been assured by a very knowing American ... that a
young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food
(Jonathan Swift). This is a very strong incongruity because eating babies isn t something

An Objective For The Week 5 Reflection Paper
An objective for the week 5 reflection paper includes highlighting and summarizing some of the
most distinctive core competencies that were galvanized as the result of exposure to course
materials. The topics discussed over the previous 4 weeks have helped to identify and distinguish
between various key leadershipelements which stand to benefit tremendously from developing a
conscious awareness pertaining to the concepts themselves. Throughout life, individuals must
overcome a seemingly infinite array of obstacles and challenges, for some, succumbing to
failures were never an option. While taking everything into consideration, many realizations
began to occur, the following paper reveals the importance for having leadership and conflict
resolution strategies in place and available at a moment s notice. Personal and professional
environments are always subject to change, one day a person might be washing dishes for a
restaurant and instantaneously becomes wealthy and decides to purchase the restaurant.
Examples like these are all too common, also reflective of challenges and obstacles currently
faced with on a daily basis. Last year, a professional job title comprised of an ownership role for
a car dealership, last week entailed a reserve insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Group, and as
of Friday, the money was paid to the current agency owner whereby a deal transpired to purchase

Types Of Fake Friends Essay
Classification of friends
Making friends is an essential part of growing up. When we re younger the friends we choose
are often made shallowly. Children may befriend other children who have the favorite color as
them. Or when you are a teenager you might befriend someone because they like the same
musical artist as you. The older you get the more you realize these friends play a special part in
your life. These people have different traits from their personality that appeals to you in one way
or another. Either way, friends play an important part in a person s life. Friends are there to help
you and provide support. Friends can also be used as a scapegoat when life is just becoming a bit
much they can help you calm your nerves by just simply being there. Some people might look for
loyalty, humor, and honesty in a friendship. There are four main types of friend s fake friends,
social gatherers, acquaintance s, and best friends.
The Fake Friend
The first type of friend is the fake friend. You will run into a fake friend at one point of your life.
These are the people how parents typically always have a bad feeling about. Usually being
younger we never really pay attention to the things our parents say about them. Or we never pay
attention to all the signs of them being fake. Fake friends can talk about you behind your back.
And they could also pretend they like you even though they don t. Fake friends are often just
users. They ask you for favors, but never offer to do

The Nature of Communism and Nazism Essay
Two totalitarian systems, Communism and Nazism were the two most frightening totalitarian
political systems in the history of mankind. They were the systems most brutal to its political
adversaries but also to its own people and other races and/or religions. Unfortunately our own
country, Croatia faced both of them during the 20th century, and some of bad influences we still
feel today. In my essay I will do my best to examine these two totalitarian systems, describe their
nature in essence and answer question How did Communismand Nazisminfluence the societies .

African American In Motion Pictures
How did African Americans enter film? When did they? African Americans had a hard time
entering film. Who are some successful black actors today in Hollywood?
According to the sources I ve read, American Americans had a very complex time in the history in
the American motion industry. In the early 20 s, things like the Civil War were still being
discussed. Society wanted African Americanto stay in their place, so they were given roles such
as criminals, servants, and other negative roles. Society wanted to keep the social order. Most
roles that were played by African Americans were played in an all black casted film. In movies like
this, Blacks were given more positive and diverse roles. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

have been complaining about the less diversity, not seeing more than one race. That s why Disney
has created more princesses with different cultures and ethics. Mainly, we used to see more
Caucasian princesses . Now, we see Hawaiian, African American, and other ethics on animation

Significance Of Shake Hands With The Devil
Shake Hands with the Devil The movie Shake Hands with the Devil is a true story about the
brutal history of the Rwandan genocide. It is originally a book that was written by Romeo
Dallaire; who is a Canadian humanitarian, and retired senator, that served as a force commander of
UNAMIR (United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda). The movie shows tragic scenes of
how the feud between the Hutus and Tutsis affected their way of living harshly. Overall, the
validity of the film is quite high, however, it contains some additional incorrect facts. Therefore, the
accuracy of most of the information in Shake Hands with the Devil is reliable.

However, since I know about what happened in the Rwandan genocide, I found this movie
interesting and have a lot of opinions to share or analyze. I think the film displays the brutality that
is in some people s hearts perfectly. I also think I can relate the history of the genocide to current
situations around the world like in Syria, or Yemen. These two countries do not have the same
history as the Rwandan genocide, however the fact that there are many fundamentalists involved in
the killing of numerous people in the three countries relates them ideally. Therefore, I enjoyed

Siddhartha Comparison
In the novel Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, the main character, Siddhartha, lives his life as a
Brahmin s son. Although everyone may have thought he was happy with his life, he was in fact
not. He left his home and family as a young man and went on a journey to find enlightenment. In his
attempts, Siddhartha follows the eightfold path, a guide to end all suffering and help reach
enlightenment. Similar Siddhartha, my journey made me strive to become a better person overall.
Utilising right action, I have made myself a better person by donating to charity, volunteering for
those in need, and respecting people s wishes. At the beginning of the novel, Siddhartha lives his
life as a brahmin s son. Despite all the wealth and riches that come with being in the family of a
Brahmin, Siddhartha leaves his home to become a Samana, which live a life full of deprivation.
Siddhartha politely asks his father to leave the family and join the Samanas. With your permission,

Bike Safety The Importance of Activeness
Biking is not only fun but also a healthy way to stay fit. The experience is breathtaking and
thrilling. However, unless the safety standards become a personal responsibility, chances are as
motorcyclists our lives are exposed to the risks. Therefore, you not only need your best motorcycle
helmet but also a solid understanding of what are the bike safety tips to be abreast of as you stay
active on the road. In addition, on why it is important to stay safe.
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, 2 percent of motor vehicle crash deaths
are related to bicyclists, worst injuries are to the head.

Inspect that your helmet has a safety sticker. Always wear your helmet when you ride.
Personally, I like those approved by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the Snell
Memorial Foundation, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or American Society for
Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Tip 3: Leave enough space around
If you are riding on the footpath, be keen to check around for cars moving into and out of the
ridgeways. Keep in mind the pedestrians and give them enough space when passing them. Use your
bell or honk to let them know you are behind them and are about to overtake them.
Tip 4: Avoid distraction
This should be avoided at all costs. You need to stay hyper aware of everything going on around
you. Don t assume that drivers will always spot you on time.
Avoid taking your hands off your motorcycle or bike as this leaves you with less control, just in
case of an emergency need of braking or shifting a position. Don t wear headphones or put your
phone where it will be hard for you to get it, forcing you to react and end up being distracted.

Although the company is known for their coffee, they also drive a great portion of their revenue
from baked good sales, which differs greatly from the Keurig Green Mountain strategy. Dunkin does
compete against Dunkin intensely in the New England market, as both companies were founded
and based in the area.
B. Value Chain Analysis The Keurig Green Mountain Inc. value chain has seven main steps.
Step 1. Cultivation
Farm management techniques can affect coffee cultivation. Water irrigation isn t used often in
the coffee cultivation because much of the water needed for coffee growing comes from
rainfall. Step 2.Packaging Shipping After coffee is harvested, it must be dried, packaged in
sacks, and transported. During this stage, energy is sued for drying, storing, and mechanically
hulling the coffee beans. This stage of the value chain also includes transportation of green
coffee beans to facilities. Step 3.Processing Once green coffee beans arrive at facilities, they are
roasted and grinded for packaging. There is an established infrastructure to track the energy use of
the roasting operations in a new way, providing data that is more useful for managing energy
efficiency. Step 4.Packaging After the coffee is roasted it is packaged. This stage of the value
chain includes the physical packaging of the roasted coffee as well as the upstream material
requirements for the packaging itself. Step 5.Distribution After packaging, coffee is

Waste Land Brazil
Art, Inequality and Dirty Work
The really magical things are the ones that happen right in front of you. A lot of the time you keep

Vic Muniz
Different films and documentaries about other cultures help expand our knowledge by
introducing values, struggles, innovations and beliefs beyond our daily experience by
encouraging us to explore values that a different from our own. The acclaimed documentary Waste

All waste that Brazilians throw out is sorted and categorised by the hardworking Catadores, as
TiГ o a character in the film says we are not pickers, of garbage we are pickers of recyclable
materials. Garbage can t be reused, whereas recycle material can. . The Catadores wear uniforms
that symbolise an organised group, which prevent recyclable materials from ending up in the
landfill so they can protect the wasted resources that have good use from the rich and middle
class people in Brazil. Materials collected by the pickers are then used to recreate useful objects
such as furniture and as seen in the film the materials can be used through Art. Another example
from the documentary that conveys the idea of sustainability is through the character named
Irma. Irma is an elderly lady who makes use of all food that is found in the landfill. She provides
the Catadors with Juice, Coffee and provides food for everyone. In the film, Irma quotes I never
let anyone go hungry . She makes use of everything even the expired food that is found in the
wasteland which is still cooked and eaten ensuring that all waste and resources are used. Comparing
these values to Australians, Australians value the resources we also have such as food, water,
shelter, clothing and our wide useful range of available materials. The Australian population has

The Mind Is An Amazing Place
The mind is an amazing place. It s incredibly adaptable and incredibly complex. The study of
psychology aims to help us understand the the complexity of the brain. To help understand the
behavior and mind and to assist in embracing all aspects of conscious and unconscious experience.
And while we aim to categorize and understand all aspects of the mind, it seems that we end up
highlight complex, fascinating and uniquely different each individual s mind works. One of the
unique ways we ve categorized the way our brainprocesses information is through senses. We ll
take a look at each sensein the coming paragraphs.
The ability to detect and interpret the events that are occurring around us allows us to respond to
these stimuli appropriately (Gibson Pick, 2000). The human brain has a large capacity to interpret
information through sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. One of the examples in chapter 4 of
our book talks about our capacities for sense is like a kaleidoscope. In in a perfect scenario all
senses work together in a beautiful medley.
Take the following excerpt for example:
In many ways our senses are quite remarkable. The human eye can detect the equivalent of a single
candle flame burning 30 miles away and can distinguish among more than 300,000 different colors.
The human ear can detect sounds as low as 20 hertz (vibrations per second) and as high as 20,000
hertz, and it can hear the tick of a clock about 20 feet away in a quiet room. We can taste a

Barack Obam A New Leader
After 9/11 the United States needed a new leader to make the U.S. a powerhouse again. This
crisis was very devastating to everyone and the U.S. needed a leader who could help rebuild the
country. The foundations of choosing a president is based on great leaders of the country over
many years since the beginning. Ironically, Barack Obamadoes not meet any of these principles of a
good leader. Obama is one of the most controversial presidents of all time because of his personal
background, passed laws, and debatable decisions.
Barack Obama is often questioned when talking about his background. Barack Hussein Obama II
was born in August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up with his sister, Maya Soetoro Ng,
mother, Ann Dunham, grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham, and grandmother, Madelyn Dunham.
His father, Barack Obama Sr., left his family when Obama was ten years old. Barack Obama later
found out that his father died in a car crash in Nairobi. Obama wanted to have a father in his life,
but he would have to live without a father for the rest of his life. Stanley Armour Dunham took the
role of being Barack Obama s father by teaching him life lessons and guiding him throughout his
schooling. After high school, Barack Obama attended Occidental College, Columbia
Gombos 2
University, and Harvard Law School. While Obama was enrolled in Occidental College, he
traveled to Pakistan for three weeks to visit college friends. Some people later questioned his

Samurai Classes
A class of professional warriors arose, more than a thousand years ago. The Samurai and the
Knight class. They swore allegiance to protecting lords and fought in battle. Both classes were
mighty warriors, but if they were engaged in battle who would triumph? The real answer is, the
Samurai class. First of all, the Samurai has mighty weaponry, training experience, and suitable
armor. One reason is that the Samurai would win in combat because of their weapons. The
Knight class are taught some skills, but the Samurai took to ranged weapons the way Knights
never did. The knight s English longbows failed, where Samurai s weaponry was far more
advanced. Samurai also had the talent of shooting bows with deadly accuracy. It only takes one
lucky shot to put you down, and being under fire without a way to reply is always scary. (Quora

The data can contain malicious content in various forms such as JavaScript, HTML, Flash, or
any other form of executable code. There are also a variety of attacks that can occur through this
method, the most common being transmission of private data, redirection to malicious web
content, or executing malicious operations on the user s machine. XSS attacks can be
categorized into two categories despite the wide array of possible paths of exploitation; stored
XSS attacks and reflected XSS attacks. Stored XSS attacks permanently store the injected script
on the target server, and by requesting the compromised data the victim is susceptible to the
malicious script. This is labeled as the most dangerous type of XSS attack because a majority of
web applications require some form of storage therefore making a majority of applications prime

challenging. These types of attacks are also known as Persistent XSS Attacks or Type I XSS

example, is that Stanley teached Zero how to read and write. At first when Zero asked Stanley
to teach him how to read and write Stanley didn t want to. After Stanley came back from Warden,
he saw that half of his hole were digged already. He found out that Zero digged his hole after
Stanley told Zero that he will teach him how to read and write. Stanley and Zero made a deal
that Zero will dig some of Stanley s holes after he is done with his holes so that Stanley would not
be tired to teach Zero. The final example to prove is that

How Stability was Maintained during the Middle-Ages
Introduction
Feudalism a social structure and hierarchy containing mutual duties and obligations. Stability is
maintained as long as the system doesn t change. Physical power resides with the king and nobles
through their knights. The Church s power resides through controlling people s beliefs. Serfs were
tied to the land. The Black Death, however, brought about such massive changes in demographics
/ population that the demand for a limited labor source (the peasants) meant that this social group at
the bottom of the social ladder grew in importance (as seen in the 1381 Peasants revolt) that drastic
change and the end of the feudal structure was inevitable.
Paragraph 1
The castles played an important role in the middle ages. The castles structure was built to fortify
and maintain control over an area. The architecture that was put into building the castles, was
designed to hold back any enemies with heavy weaponry and stronger armies then them. Source 1
states The earliest medieval castles were built with mottes and baileys. Mottes were built with
wooden walls around the edges, in the process formed a ring work fort. This sort of protective
structure was used in the late twelfth century. The Motte was one of the most defensible areas,
while the bailey was one of the main places where the battle took place.
Paragraph 2
The Roman Catholic Church had the most powerful religion in Europe. The Pope was the head of
the Church, and its

Gender Representation In Gilmore Girls
Representation in media is hugely important as it influences, both consciously and subconsciously,
culture and society. Gender representation is especially important in this day and age because more
and more media is being consumed by younger audiences. In G rated animated movies and
televisions shows targeted for young girls, the female characters are hyper sexualized and, 9 out of
10 times, their stories revolve around finding a man to love them, facilitating our cultures obsession
with heteronormativity. Boys are encouraged to watch maledominated action movies, full of
violence, sexy, scantily clad women, and heteronormative, hyper masculine stereotypes. Boys
who are interested in any media designated for girls is seen as less masculine and may face bullies
and pressure from all walks of life, at home and in school. Society begins teaching boys and girls
how to genderimmediately, what is appropriate, tolerated, encouraged, and what is unacceptable.
As we grow up our media becomes more violent, more sexualized, and even more gendered. I
will be exploring gender representation in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, and The 100,
discussing the problematic and the progressive representations of gender, starting with Gilmore
Girls. Gilmore Girls is a fast paced dramedy following a thirty something single mother, Lorelai,
and her daughter, Rory. Seemingly progressive, as the show was written and produced by a woman,

The Process Of Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms
paragraph{Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms}
Algorithm ref{algo:spatiotemporal} shows the process of mining short time and long time
spatiotemporal swarms. Initially, all swarms are empty indicated by Lines 3 5. Then, the trajectory
data is preprocessed to remove inconsistent and inaccurate data at Line 6 and build time to
locations matrix at Line 7. After that, infrequent pruning, row and column pruning methods have
been applied upon matrix data at Lines 8 10 and mines locations based all timestamps short time

After that we will mine others swarms. The necessary steps used for mining moving objects
swarms are pointed below where we consider minimum number of objects $min_{object}$ = 2.
At first, our proposed method generates 1 length tiemstamp swarm from the given database shown
in the figure ref{example1}(b) that is called short time spatiotemporal swarms. It has been shown
that the objects in location $L_3$ at timestamps $T_1$ and location $L_4$ at timestemps $T_1,
T_3, T_5$ are removed because only one object exists in the locations which is less than the
minimum number of objects $min_{object}$. In the second step, proposed algorithm begets 2
length timestamps candidate based on previous 1 length timestamp swarms. Figure
ref{example1}(c) interprets the objects locations based on time where objects are found by the
common objects at particular times of the generated timesets. Suppose at timeset $[T_1, T_2]$ in
location $L_1$ begets objects set $left{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ from the common objects sets
between $left{o_1, o_2, o_3, o_4right}$ and $left{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ at time $T_1$ an
$T_2$ respectively. In this way, all the cells of are procreated. If their is no common object, then the
cell value is empty. Then, we apply four efficient pruning techniques: (i) candidate pruning that
prune those candidates which maintain the Apriori pruning principle that is any itemset which is

Robert Frost Poems Analysis
Robert Frost is a poet who is known for writing simple stories that contains deeper meanings
about life. In The Road Not Taken and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening both depict
measuring life s decisions as a piece of the account. These poems signify a journey, where one
must choose between two paths in life. In both poems, the speakers reach a point of uncertainty
in their journeys. Although both stories have similar aspects in life decisions, there are some
differences. These differences are based on impulses. We can deduce this based on how each
speaker reacted to their decisions in the path they take in life. The following shows how decisions
can affect a person s viewpoint. In Stopping by Woodson a Snowy Evening the speakeris on a
journey in a snowy environment. He has doubts due to being in a secluded place, a place that s
far away from civilization. He stops to enjoy the beauty and the serenity of the snow falling in
the woods. He describes the woods as gradually fill up with snow (Line 4). He s confused as to
why he is so far away from any houses: To stop without a farmhouse near (Line 6). This allows
him to capture an image and embrace the beauty of the snow falling. He even describes how the
wind is easy and he is aware of everything around him. (Frost 89). Although he is enjoying the
moment the speaker knows he must come to a decision and move on. This shows that the speaker
knows that although he can enjoy the moment, he has to continue with his life The woods are
lovely...but I have promises to keep (Line 13 14).
In the poem, The Road Not Taken , the speaker must decide the path he is taking. This poem is
about a person who comes to a road, and which path he must take. As the speaker contemplate his
decisions, he knows he must make a the road a good one. So, he should choose wisely in making
the best decision. The speaker chooses his thought very carefully. He says, And looked down as
far as I could/To where it bent in the undergrowth (DiYanni 539). After giving it some thought, he
decides to take the road less traveled (DiYanni 540). The Road Not Taken implies a troublesome
decision in a man s life that could offer him a simple or hard way out. There is no answer of

My Autoethnography Of Selfie
Autoethnography Essay
Ysabel Anne Aluquin (z5146099)
According to the Oxford Dictionary, selfie can be defined as a photograph that one has taken of
oneself (selfie, 2017). However, according to Rettberg, selfies are so much more than just a
photograph on the Internet, they are a form of digital self representation (Rettberg, 2014). I still
remember the very first selfie I took, with the back camera of an old Nokia phone. This was before
the invention of the front facing camera and in comparison, I must say that my selfie skills have
most definitely improved. Just like with age, my selfies have evolved over time and in this
autoethnography, I will be looking at three different selfies from three different points in my life
and examining how they represented me in those different moments. This essay will touch
mainly on how my selfies represent my gender and sexuality and how over time I had learned to
embrace both aspects of myself. I will start off by presenting a selfie from 2012, which was taken
during one of my more awkward stages in life when I was studying in an all girls Catholic high
school.
This first selfie was my Facebook profile picture for a while. At this time, I was halfway through
high school and was slowly, but steadily, coming out of a very awkward stage. The thing about
being in all girls school is that there were only two main ways to be yourself. This is because we all
wore the same uniform and did not have the freedom to express

The Road Not Taken Research Paper
Essay
The Road Not Taken is a very popular poem written by the renowned poet Robert Frost. This
poem tells a story of a man caught between two diverged roads and uncertain on which path he
should take. These two roads are quite obviously metaphors for the different paths you can take in
life, but what is less obvious is which path the narrator should take, and which he should leave
behind. Throughout the poem the narrator is constantly second guessing himself on which of the
two roads he should take. He reassures himself by saying that one of the roads seemed more
grassy than the other and also seemed less traveled upon. But shortly after he reveals that in
actuality the two roads were both quite the same. In the end he finally makes a decision but shows
much regret after making it. This poem may not be much of a fairytale but Robert Frost does have a
theme behind this story, which is to make the best of your opportunities. Since you can obviously
not be able to see the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the first line of the poem Frost already begins to lay out his setting for the reader saying, Two
roads diverged in a yellow wood (1). This allows the reader to visually see what the narrator sees,
which makes the poem much more powerful and realistic. Also Frost had to use imagery to put
reader in the narrator s shoes, so it s as if the reader also has to make the decision on which road
is the best to take. Even though the roads are not any different from each other, the details the
narrator gives makes even the reader for a moment believe that one is better than the other. This
manipulation that Frost creates using imagery makes the reader experience first hand the theme
that he made which is to make the best of your situation. Frost was able to put the reader in the
same situation and cause them to even weigh their options for a

  • 7. China s Nationalism And Isolation From Western Society For thousands of years China has operated dynastically, in a cyclic mode, causing no forward movement or linear progress. China s ethnocentrism and isolation from Western society led to internal disorder. The isochronous nature of the Chinese feudal system eventually led to the demise of the last dynasty, the Qing Dynasty, in 1911. This vulnerability provided Western influence allowing for imperialism throughout the country. Students and intellectuals with Westernized educations saw that the political and social turmoil was attributed to a long history of rejection of anything Western. On May 4, 1919, students led a revolt, called the May Fourth Movement, against Confucian culture promoting science, democracy, and anti imperialism. The May Fourth Movement was a period of total iconoclasm, of complete rejection of past tradition, and of absolute ratification of western ideals resulting in a literary revolution. By exploring Lu Xun s realist writing style and Yu Dafu s romantic writing style, the true function of literature during the May Fourth era is revealed. May Fourth Background: The May Fourth movement occurred as a response to the Chinese government s poor response to the Treaty of Versailles, known as the Shandong problem. The Treaty of Versailles took the rights to the Shandong providence, in China, from Germany and gave them to Japan. Her statement symbolizes modern technological ideals to increase the reuse of water. Also known as water reclamation, water recycling is the process of extracting previously used water and treating it for reuse. Currently, modern technologies have allowed the application of recycled water to enter many different areas. Recycled water not only helps decrease human habitat destruction, it also is considered more effective than natural water for agricultural irrigation. At first, farmers were skeptical of using a previously contaminated water to irrigate their food crops. However, when studied in further detail it was determined that reclaimed water actually contributed to plant growth. The added nutrients in the recycled water improve crop quality and development, without polluting the crops themselves. Farmers and others that use recycled water regularly also appreciate the dependability of receiving the reused water. Use of reclaimed water decreases the chance of future drought and insures farmers a more stable source of water than ever before. In contrast, there are also many problems and questions linked to the reuse of water. Economically, the initial installation to supply recycled water to an area can be expensive, and complicated. Separate pipes and specific labeling is required for all reclaimed water distribution. Another concern in using recycled water is its potential health risks. A study done by three Bay Area scientists was conducted to search for Salmonella, Cyclospora and E. Coli 0157:H7 within water after it had been disinfected in the tertiary stage of recycling. Satire is used to point out the faults of human vice in order for change and reform in either of two ways. There is a very bitter Juvenalian or a mild and light Horatian. In order to fully understand these forms of satire, method, purpose, and applications will be addressed. If it is Juvenalian, it is done with indignation and harshness. This tone is somewhat dark and makes inspires change though a form of resentment. This is usually more successful than the other because anger causes action. The other form is Horatian, and is the amused and witty form of satire. It is presented as mockery, but never to insult or offend anyone. This is just to show the faults of something and make people realize why they are wrong. Both encourage change, and both are important. Arguably, one of the most successful Juvenalian satires ever written is A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift. Swift satirizes many things in the essay, with the most prevalent being the way that England treats Ireland. Many of the inhabitants living there were poverty stricken and starving to death. They both were successful at last. This proves that if you work together and never give up you can succeed in anything. Another example, is that Stanley teached Zero how to read and write. At first when Zero asked Stanley to teach him how to read and write Stanley didn t want to. After Stanley came back from Warden, he saw that half of his hole were digged already. He found out that Zero digged his hole after Stanley told Zero that he will teach him how to read and write. Stanley and Zero made a deal that Zero will dig some of Stanley s holes after he is done with his holes so that Stanley would not be tired to teach Zero. The final example to prove is that ... • 42. How Stability was Maintained during the Middle-Ages Introduction Feudalism a social structure and hierarchy containing mutual duties and obligations. Stability is maintained as long as the system doesn t change. Physical power resides with the king and nobles through their knights. The Church s power resides through controlling people s beliefs. Serfs were tied to the land. The Black Death, however, brought about such massive changes in demographics / population that the demand for a limited labor source (the peasants) meant that this social group at the bottom of the social ladder grew in importance (as seen in the 1381 Peasants revolt) that drastic change and the end of the feudal structure was inevitable. Paragraph 1 The castles played an important role in the middle ages. The castles structure was built to fortify and maintain control over an area. The architecture that was put into building the castles, was designed to hold back any enemies with heavy weaponry and stronger armies then them. Source 1 states The earliest medieval castles were built with mottes and baileys. Mottes were built with wooden walls around the edges, in the process formed a ring work fort. This sort of protective structure was used in the late twelfth century. The Motte was one of the most defensible areas, while the bailey was one of the main places where the battle took place. Paragraph 2 The Roman Catholic Church had the most powerful religion in Europe. The Pope was the head of the Church, and its ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. Gender Representation In Gilmore Girls Representation in media is hugely important as it influences, both consciously and subconsciously, culture and society. Gender representation is especially important in this day and age because more and more media is being consumed by younger audiences. In G rated animated movies and televisions shows targeted for young girls, the female characters are hyper sexualized and, 9 out of 10 times, their stories revolve around finding a man to love them, facilitating our cultures obsession with heteronormativity. Boys are encouraged to watch maledominated action movies, full of violence, sexy, scantily clad women, and heteronormative, hyper masculine stereotypes. Boys who are interested in any media designated for girls is seen as less masculine and may face bullies and pressure from all walks of life, at home and in school. Society begins teaching boys and girls how to genderimmediately, what is appropriate, tolerated, encouraged, and what is unacceptable. As we grow up our media becomes more violent, more sexualized, and even more gendered. I will be exploring gender representation in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, and The 100, discussing the problematic and the progressive representations of gender, starting with Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls is a fast paced dramedy following a thirty something single mother, Lorelai, and her daughter, Rory. Seemingly progressive, as the show was written and produced by a woman, Amy Serman Palladino, Gilmore Girls ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Process Of Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms paragraph{Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms} Algorithm ref{algo:spatiotemporal} shows the process of mining short time and long time spatiotemporal swarms. Initially, all swarms are empty indicated by Lines 3 5. Then, the trajectory data is preprocessed to remove inconsistent and inaccurate data at Line 6 and build time to locations matrix at Line 7. After that, infrequent pruning, row and column pruning methods have been applied upon matrix data at Lines 8 10 and mines locations based all timestamps short time spatiotemporal swarms which is objects set size is greater than or equal to $min_{object}$ at Lines 11 17. Mining long time spatiotemporal swarm generates K length timestamps candidate swarms from the self joining of K 1 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After that we will mine others swarms. The necessary steps used for mining moving objects swarms are pointed below where we consider minimum number of objects $min_{object}$ = 2. At first, our proposed method generates 1 length tiemstamp swarm from the given database shown in the figure ref{example1}(b) that is called short time spatiotemporal swarms. It has been shown that the objects in location $L_3$ at timestamps $T_1$ and location $L_4$ at timestemps $T_1, T_3, T_5$ are removed because only one object exists in the locations which is less than the minimum number of objects $min_{object}$. In the second step, proposed algorithm begets 2 length timestamps candidate based on previous 1 length timestamp swarms. Figure ref{example1}(c) interprets the objects locations based on time where objects are found by the common objects at particular times of the generated timesets. Suppose at timeset $[T_1, T_2]$ in location $L_1$ begets objects set $left{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ from the common objects sets between $left{o_1, o_2, o_3, o_4right}$ and $left{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ at time $T_1$ an $T_2$ respectively. In this way, all the cells of are procreated. If their is no common object, then the cell value is empty. Then, we apply four efficient pruning techniques: (i) candidate pruning that prune those candidates which maintain the Apriori pruning principle that is any itemset which is infrequent, its superset should not be ... • 45. Robert Frost Poems Analysis Robert Frost is a poet who is known for writing simple stories that contains deeper meanings about life. In The Road Not Taken and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening both depict measuring life s decisions as a piece of the account. These poems signify a journey, where one must choose between two paths in life. In both poems, the speakers reach a point of uncertainty in their journeys. Although both stories have similar aspects in life decisions, there are some differences. These differences are based on impulses. We can deduce this based on how each speaker reacted to their decisions in the path they take in life. The following shows how decisions can affect a person s viewpoint. In Stopping by Woodson a Snowy Evening the speakeris on a journey in a snowy environment. He has doubts due to being in a secluded place, a place that s far away from civilization. He stops to enjoy the beauty and the serenity of the snow falling in the woods. He describes the woods as gradually fill up with snow (Line 4). He s confused as to why he is so far away from any houses: To stop without a farmhouse near (Line 6). This allows him to capture an image and embrace the beauty of the snow falling. He even describes how the wind is easy and he is aware of everything around him. (Frost 89). Although he is enjoying the moment the speaker knows he must come to a decision and move on. This shows that the speaker knows that although he can enjoy the moment, he has to continue with his life The woods are lovely...but I have promises to keep (Line 13 14). In the poem, The Road Not Taken , the speaker must decide the path he is taking. This poem is about a person who comes to a road, and which path he must take. As the speaker contemplate his decisions, he knows he must make a the road a good one. So, he should choose wisely in making the best decision. The speaker chooses his thought very carefully. He says, And looked down as far as I could/To where it bent in the undergrowth (DiYanni 539). After giving it some thought, he decides to take the road less traveled (DiYanni 540). The Road Not Taken implies a troublesome decision in a man s life that could offer him a simple or hard way out. There is no answer of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 46. My Autoethnography Of Selfie Autoethnography Essay Ysabel Anne Aluquin (z5146099) According to the Oxford Dictionary, selfie can be defined as a photograph that one has taken of oneself (selfie, 2017). However, according to Rettberg, selfies are so much more than just a photograph on the Internet, they are a form of digital self representation (Rettberg, 2014). I still remember the very first selfie I took, with the back camera of an old Nokia phone. This was before the invention of the front facing camera and in comparison, I must say that my selfie skills have most definitely improved. Just like with age, my selfies have evolved over time and in this autoethnography, I will be looking at three different selfies from three different points in my life and examining how they represented me in those different moments. This essay will touch mainly on how my selfies represent my gender and sexuality and how over time I had learned to embrace both aspects of myself. I will start off by presenting a selfie from 2012, which was taken during one of my more awkward stages in life when I was studying in an all girls Catholic high school. This first selfie was my Facebook profile picture for a while. At this time, I was halfway through high school and was slowly, but steadily, coming out of a very awkward stage. The thing about being in all girls school is that there were only two main ways to be yourself. This is because we all wore the same uniform and did not have the freedom to express ... • 48. The Road Not Taken Research Paper Essay The Road Not Taken is a very popular poem written by the renowned poet Robert Frost. This poem tells a story of a man caught between two diverged roads and uncertain on which path he should take. These two roads are quite obviously metaphors for the different paths you can take in life, but what is less obvious is which path the narrator should take, and which he should leave behind. Throughout the poem the narrator is constantly second guessing himself on which of the two roads he should take. He reassures himself by saying that one of the roads seemed more grassy than the other and also seemed less traveled upon. But shortly after he reveals that in actuality the two roads were both quite the same. In the end he finally makes a decision but shows much regret after making it. This poem may not be much of a fairytale but Robert Frost does have a theme behind this story, which is to make the best of your opportunities. Since you can obviously not be able to see the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the first line of the poem Frost already begins to lay out his setting for the reader saying, Two roads diverged in a yellow wood (1). This allows the reader to visually see what the narrator sees, which makes the poem much more powerful and realistic. Also Frost had to use imagery to put reader in the narrator s shoes, so it s as if the reader also has to make the decision on which road is the best to take. Even though the roads are not any different from each other, the details the narrator gives makes even the reader for a moment believe that one is better than the other. This manipulation that Frost creates using imagery makes the reader experience first hand the theme that he made which is to make the best of your situation. Frost was able to put the reader in the same situation and cause them to even weigh their options for a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
