Essay Summary Generator
Crafting an essay on the subject of an "Essay Summary Generator" can prove to be a challenging
endeavor. Firstly, the topic itself demands a comprehensive understanding of both essay writing
principles and the specific intricacies associated with summary generation. It requires a delicate
balance between summarizing the content effectively while maintaining the essence and
coherence of the original piece.
To start with, one must delve into the complexities of summarization techniques, exploring
methods that capture the essence of the essay without sacrificing its core message. This involves
honing the skill of condensing information while retaining its relevance, a task that demands a
keen analytical mindset.
Additionally, a writer must navigate the nuances of language and style. Crafting a summary
requires a nuanced approach to language usage, ensuring that the brevity of the summary does
not compromise the clarity and eloquence of the original essay. Striking this delicate balance
requires a deep understanding of the nuances of language and a keen sense of the intended
audience.
Moreover, the challenge lies in avoiding mere repetition of the original content. A successful
essay summary must go beyond a mechanical regurgitation of ideas, instead offering a fresh
perspective that adds value to the reader's understanding. This demands creativity and a keen
eye for identifying the core ideas that truly matter.
Furthermore, the task is not complete without considering the technical aspect of summarization
tools. Exploring and understanding the available tools for generating summaries is a crucial part
of the process. Integrating these tools effectively into the essay requires a level of technological
literacy and the ability to critically evaluate their output.
In conclusion, crafting an essay on the topic of an "Essay Summary Generator" is an intricate
process that necessitates a blend of analytical thinking, linguistic finesse, creativity, and
technological awareness. Success in this endeavor hinges on the writer's ability to navigate the
challenges posed by summarization while maintaining the integrity of the original essay.

Eating Meat Or To Eat Meat Essay
To eat meat or to not eat meat? This is the question...
There is little doubt that the evolution of humans has been connected to meat in
several ways. Humans are not herbivores in an obligatory way; our enzymes evolved
to digest meat whose consumption assisted in higher encephalization and higher
physical growth. Cooperative searching of meat promoted the event of language and
socialization; the evolution of previous World societies was, to a major extent,
supported domestication of animals; in ancient societies, meat uptake, quite the
consumption of the other class of foodstuffs, has guided humans to fascinating
preferences, bans and numerous food ways; and fashionable Western agricultures are
heavily meat oriented. In biological process terms, the links vary from satiation
afforded by uptake fatty mega herbivores to meat as a status food throughout ... Show

Larger brains benefited from overwhelming high quality proteins in meat containing
diets, and, in turn, searching and killing of enormous animals, business enterprise of
carcasses and sharing of meat have inevitably contributed to the evolution of human
intelligence and to the event of language and of capacities for designing, cooperation
and socialisation. Albeit the trade off between smaller guts and bigger brains has not
been as sturdy as is claimed by the expensive tissue hypothesis, there s little doubt that
the human digestive system has clearly evolved for omnivory, not for strictly plant
based diets. Therefore the role of scavenging, and later searching, within the evolution
of body and therefore the mastery of endurance running can not be underestimated,
and neither will the impact of planned, coordinated searching on non verbal
communication and therefore the evolution of
My First Day Of Middle School Essay
Dad c mon we re going to be late, I jumped into our families suv with a fresh cup of
coffee in hand, slammed the door and started up the Honda Pilot. I looked to my
right seeing my spouse before looking over my shoulder to the looks of my son
placing his book bag on the floor, it was his first day of middle schooland I couldn t
be more nervous for him. He was slightly anxious to get there on time, as was I.
Flying out of our neighborhood as we started to drive towards this new chapter in
our families lives, I could only stop and think back of a moment that helped shape
me into who I am today... I was so nervous to start middle school... Oh My God.
Middle school is the time I think when parents utterly question the whole reason why
they had unprotected sex in the beginning. Your body goes through such an awkward
state of being, puberty. Ugh, just saying the word makes me cringe, just like my
voice did for the longest time. You could say I was the definition of a late bloomer,
my mind was advancing and I was growing taller but never gained any muscle,
facial hair or balls dropping, unlike the other boys. Middle school was this
transitional period where boys and girls started to get interested in each other, the
whole cootie phase was over and now they started to either get physical or at least
think they were getting physical with one another. I had one girlfriend throughout
middle school and lets be honest, she wasn t my girlfriend. Let s get something
The Role Of Propaganda In The Holocaust
Propaganda was used to be prejudice against Jews;it was something that made them
feel bad about themselves and their decisions. Jews were being treated with hostility
because of the religion they were.
That then led to Propaganda being used against them.
Propaganda was formed around the holocaust when Joseph Goebbels was Hitler s
minister for the Holocaust. He played an important role in being part of the
Holocaust to the Nazi Germany. He wasn t able to participate in the first World
war, because of his weight and he also had a clubbed foot. Joseph then decided to join

Greenhouse Gas Emissions And Climate Change
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Resulting in Climate Change
The Sun is responsible for all of the energy that enters the Earth s atmosphere. The
Earth s energy is in balance when Earth emits the same amount of energy as it
absorbs (Schneider, 1987). But today, the Earth is absorbing more energy than is
what is being released due to increases in greenhouse gases in the Earth s
atmosphere (Herbert, 2007). Out of the total energy entering the Earth s
atmosphere, as seen in Figure 1, only 30% is being reflected back into space due
the Earth s albedo (Schneider, 1987). The other 70% of this energy is being
absorbed by the Earth s surface and atmosphere (Schneider, 1987). Here we are
going to discuss how increasing greenhouse gas concentrations leads to climate
change, some consequences that come with climate change and what can be done
about it.
The Earth has been known to go through various natural warming and cooling
periods throughout history. During warmer interglacial periods, CO2 levels are
higher and during cooler glacial periods, CO2 levels are lower (Monnin, 2004). This
is because the heating and cooling of Earth s surface can cause significant changes in
greenhouse gas concentrations (Monnin, 2004). These changes often act as a positive
feedback, intensifying the existing temperature changes (Monnin, 2004). For
example, it was slightly warmer during the Holocene Climatic Optimum about 5,000
6,000 years ago and was slightly cooler during the Little Ice Age from about 1600 AD

Self Driving Cars Are Becoming Realistic And Reliable
Technology is everywhere around us, it lead to many useful creations such as
computers, cellphones, airplanes, televisions and many more. Technology created
many ways for people to move from one place to another, like the metro, bus, train,
bicycles and cars. They are the most common transportation tools used by the
people who live in big cities. Science is trying to take it a step further by making the
car driverless. Self drivingcars are becoming realistic and reliable, since it is
developed by many big companies competing with each other for being the first to
release it for sale. Big corporations competing with each other are great for the
progression of the self driving cars, because they will all try to make the better one
compared to other companies and if they make it, the potential is absolutely insane.
The first autonomous driving ever achieved was around 10000 B.C., when the first
horse rider got onto a horse s back and rode on it without directing it to any
direction. Although this technology rarely achieved the goal of arriving at a target
destination, for 11980 years, this was the only form of autonomous driving
humankind could get. This is the earliest traces of the autonomous found. The
second earliest was a Mercedes Benz team making a van drive itself on empty
streets at the speed of 100km per hour. After that, they achieved a autonomous
driving on its own for 1600km. Challenges from DARPA (Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency) spread this idea and
Loyalist Or Patriot Analysis
Shall I be Loyalist or Patriot? After the victory towards French in the Seven Years
War, the political and social relationship of the colonists and Great Britain had
shifted to a different direction. The colonists began to think of themselves as
Americans. At that time, The British government felt that the colonies had become
quite independence, and they wanted their colonies to start paying tax in order to
help England pay the national debt. Not only were Americans forced to pay direct
taxes, but they were also obliged to involve in strict regulatory acts such as Sugar
Act and Currency Act. Sugar Act (1764) strongly affected American s trading in
which their oceanic vessels and cargos could be inspected by the British Navy and
might be confiscated if the paper and the goods that being transported were in
disagreement. Currency Act (1764) restricted colonial governments to print their own
paper money. These two acts put some colonists in anger but they were not enough to
result in civil disorder until the Stamp Act was passed. The reason that the colonists
resisted government authority with the passage of the Stamp Act (1765) was because
the Stamp Act collected taxes in all type of papers including newspapers, playing
cards, licenses, and stamps. This outraged many colonists especially the educated and

What Does It Means To Be A Good Photographers
5.1 INTRODUCTION FIELD OF STUDY
A photographer is a professional that focuses on the art of taking photographs with a
digital or film camera. Photographers use artificial and/or natural lighting to take

The Joy Of Heaven, By G. K. Yancey
The chapter begins with a quote by G. K. Chesterton, and he talks about a saint
(Yancey 59). The quote was peculiar to me. It said that a saint exaggerates, which
confused me. I thought a saint should be humble and not exaggerate. When I think
of someone exaggerating, I do not think of it in a good way. Although, maybe the
saint exaggerates to bring awareness to the things people do not realize or
something. I do not think I agree with Yancey when he said, be grateful for your
povertybecause I do not know if I would be grateful for my poverty (61). A person
who lives in poverty is faced with many tough situations, such as being homeless or

Capitalism on Wages and Income Essay
Introduction
Capitalism is an economic system in which industry, trade and factor and means of
production are controlled by private investors or owners with an aim of making profit
in a market economy. It affects the rate of capital accumulation, labor wage and the
control of competitive market. This usually affects the economy of different societies
since the government has no control over the economy. The forces of capitalism
greatly affect the societies in that the poor continues to be poorer while the reach
society continues to accumulate wealthy and become richer. It widens the income
disparity gap. It influences both the economic aspect and social aspect of the
societies largely. This mainly is influenced by the forces that... Show more content on

For the wages to increase mostly the intensity of labor and cost of long hours are
inevitable. Therefore, capitalist cannot benefit the poor.
Capitalism and free trade According to Richard N (2006), the free movement of
goods due to free market or trade has led to globalization. Though the effects have
been assumed to benefit all, there is a large inequality among the poor and the rich
both within the countries among the nations. Capitalism is contributed to
technological advancement, which has then influenced free trade. The uncontrolled
globalization has resulted in more developed societies becoming rich. The rich
economies are able to exploit the market by producing at lower price due to their
level of technology and advancement in research. They are also able to protect their
economy through export subsidies and production subsidies to their farmers. This
translates to lower prices for their goods in the global market hence controlling it.
The poor countries despite having comparative advantage in production of some
commodities they also suffer from competitive advantage from the developed
countries they are forced to sell their commodities at a lower price than their
expected. They suffer a lot in global trade, which is mainly controlled by the
wealthier nations. There are regulations, which restrict the flow of goods in the world
market from poor societies. This makes
Violations Of Parole Supervision Are Technical Violations
Studies have found that many violations of parole supervision are technical violations
instead of the parole reoffending. Technical violations can range from a curfew to
stipulations that the parole must not drink alcohol or be in a house that contains
alcohol. These technical violations, while some may consider small or insignificant
violation, can cause hardships and negative outcomes for the parolee.
These technical parole terms are put in place to hopefully lessen the likelihood that
the parolee will reoffend. For example, the members justice system may believe that
parolees are more at risk to reoffend when drunk thus they place the parolee under
strict instructions to not consume any alcohol or even be in the presence of alcohol
to hopefully help curb temptation to drink. The members of the justice system may
also want to help the parolee stay away from the negative and deviant life they were
living before prison. To accomplish this the parole board might put in the parole
terms that the parolee is not allowed to associated with current or past known gang
members. The technical parole term of not drinking may also be a way the parole
board is trying to keep the parolee from going back to their old lifestyle of crime.
When the parolee drinks they are less in control of their actions and may go back to
hanging out with their old deviant friends. The parolee may also have less control of
their anger and may go back to their habit of being violent.
These parole terms
The Importance Of Job Description And Job Analysis
Job descriptions and job analysis help to provide accurate information to
incumbents about the daily functions of the position available and its expectations.
A job analysis is completed to determine activities, skills, and knowledge required
of an employee for a specific job (Jahn, 2014). Questionnaires, observations,
interviews, and employee recordings all play a role in determining a job analysis.
Job analysis provides a method to understand a job by examining the tasks performed
on the job, the competence to perform those tasks, and the connection between the
task and the competencies (Bortz Steisel, 2014). The final analysis provides essential
tools, such as the job descriptionand job specifications. Job specifications identify
critical attributes of a person suited to the job, which includes the minimum education
and experience needed to perform the job (Jahn, 2014).
Job descriptions help to support the job analysis. Job descriptions are narrative
statements defining a job and what the employer expects regarding on the job
performance (Jahn, 2014). Job descriptions include a list of responsibilities and
duties required for a particular position. Job descriptions further define the employee
s functions in more general terms than what is described in the job analysis. Job
descriptions usually begin with an action verb and close with a noun defining the
activity. Without job analysis and job descriptions, companies will not have the ability
Essay on Dobbie the Duck
On a farm near the state of Oklahoma, there lived a little duck named Dobbles.
Dobbles was the most energetic, loud, and crazy duck on the farm. The pond near
the farm was his favorite place to play. He and his friends were always having fun
and causing mischief at the pond. It was the perfect place to cool off during the
summer. One day when Dobbles went to the pond, none of his friends were there.
They met at that pond at the same time everyday, so he was very worried. Dobbles

Exposure to Violent Television Causes Aggressive Behavior in Children
Abstract: Studies of the aggressiveness in children in relation to the amount of
violent television viewed were examined. The results are discussed and a potential
solution is proposed which assigns responsibility for the control of television viewing
and its effects to parents and children.
Television is the most powerful medium the world has ever seen. Never before has it
been possible to communicate and so strongly influence millions of people at the
same moment right in their own homes. But its misuse has been felonious, and
society is paying an increasing price (Langone, 1984).

The on off switch is the ultimate defense, and parents wield it (Mortimer, 1994).
Parents do have a duty to protect their children from the effects of violent
television (Zuckerman, 1993), and one way that parents protect their children is to
teach them such moral values as honesty, courage, and self control (Browden,
1995). However, because the children are directly involved in this problem, and are
the ones who are watching and being affected by the violent television they are
viewing, They need to participate in the effort to resolve this issue. Parents cant do
it all by themselves; especially in these days of single parent and two career families,
parents just cant be with their children all of the time (Mortimer, 1994).
The questions that are to be addressed in this paper are the following: What is
considered violent television? What are the effects of violent television on children?
Who is responsible for the effects on children? How can we begin to resolve the
issue of the effects of violent television on children?
Several definitions of violent behavior in relation to the media have been put forth.
A violence index compiled for cable television programs defines it as a clear cut and
overt episode of physical violence hurting or killing or the threat of hurting and/or
killingin any context.
Myths In Greek Mythology
1. A myth is a traditional story that helps convey a fundamental or cultural worldview,
wherein values are established by heroes in a legendary context. These values often
contain important human truths or universal truths about human nature. For example,
Homer s Iliad contains many important truths even though the story itself is full of
fantastic/mythological elements, such as the appearance of the gods in the midst of
the battlefield at Troy. However, Homer deftly mixes Greek mythologywith historical
accounts of real persons. What Homer did with the Iliad was to link Greek heritage
and history with Greek religion, to create a kind of historical religious epic poem that
could teach Greeks about the past, their heritage, the value of honor, truths of
human nature (such as the way valor is lost and won on the battlefield, or the way
a mother like Thetis will do anything to protect her son). Not only does the Iliad
explore the way the Greeks believed the gods to behave and look upon them, it also
showed the way they saw themselves and the characteristics they most valued as a
people.
2. The Iliad also reflects important social issues and concerns of the period in which
it was composed. For example, it depicts how the Greeks really believed that their
gods participated in their lives. In the Iliad, Zeus at first refuses to let the gods
involve themselves directly in the fight between the Greeks and the Trojans.
Nonetheless, the gods go behind his back and risk his wrath in

quot;anyone lived in a pretty how town quot;
I first read this poem and I thought of love, two people in love. Anyone and noone
are in love and that is what matters to them, to be in love with each other and with
life. It involves the day, the night, and how the weather changes. The seasons revolve
and the children grow up to become adults. As I read the poem I realized there were
three sections to it. Which consist of anyone and noone, quot;women and men quot;
in line four, and the children. The first stanza is strange the first time you read it.

The portion of line two which states quot;many bells down quot;, is possibly referring
to the death of the children and somewhat the death of anyone and noone. The
reference to death in lines twenty nine and thirty by stating quot;deep by deep quot;
and quot;more by more they dream their sleep quot; shows how they surcome to
death. In line thirty three quot;ding and dong quot; I think could be anyone and noone.
Death is a part of the poem but the turning point lies in line twenty five, which states:
quot;one day anyone died i guess quot;. The main focal point is the uncapitalized
quot;i quot;, in analyzing poems I have begun to look at punctuation to tell me
something about the author and look more deeply into the poem and it amp;#8217;s
meaning. The uncapatilized quot;i quot; gives a detached feeling when you look at
the line closely. It seems as though he could be detached because of the death that
surrounds this poem, has if does not want to involve himself as much in it. The quot;i
quot; could also represent the importance of something, probably love which one of
the underlying themes of the poem. The children are still alive until line twenty five.
As in lines twenty two and twenty three they are thought to be just playing, not being
an important part, but Cummings is quite possibly showing their lack of maturation.
They do not seem as though they are too old to be just playing around, but as it says

9.Describe methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and its implications
for patients who are diagnosed with this. Methicillin Staphylococcus aureus is
defined as strains of bacteria that are resistant to beta lactam agents, including the
synthetic penicillins (eg, methicillin, oxacillin) and the cephalosporins. MRSA can
resist the effects of many common antibiotics, so it is difficult to treat. If the
infection spreads to the blood stream and becomes systemic may increases risk for
life threatening complications. First sign of MRSA are small red bumps that
resemble pimples, boils or spider bites. Next they may mature into deep and painful
abscesses that require surgical draining. If the bacteriais not confined to the skin and

Health care providers and visitors are required to wear personal protective

surfaces, and laundry items are properly disinfected to prevent the spread of
MRSA. In addition to policy and procedures, patient teaching is also helpful for
preventing exposure and spread of MRSA. As aforementioned earlier, hand
hygiene is key to prevent exposer or transmission of the bacteria. To properly wash
your hand effectively, first scrub hands rapidly for at least 15 seconds. Next, use a
disposable towel to dry them and another towel to turn off the faucet. In addition,

Brooklyn, New York. He was Gabriel and Teresa Capone s, fourth of nine children;
his parents were Italian immigrants. At the age of 14 Capone was expelled from

Swot Analysis Of Cadbury
Different Markets
Cadbury is the leading player in confectionery, with its Dairy Milk brand, as
mentioned before, accounting for over 13% of total confectionery value at the end
of the review period overall. This however wouldn t be possible without the company
being highly visible in the mass media channels with its tagline of kuch meetha ho

Cadbury has unfortunately seen lack of penetration in the rural market where people
tend to dismiss it as a high end product, as the prices do range between standard and
premium, never any less. The reason for high prices is due some of the cocoa, a
major ingredient, having to be imported, resulting in several charges and a higher
inventory. The company must also find solutions to natural conditions, for example,
heat. The majority of the markets in India are not air conditioned, hence cannot store
chocolates, at least during hot summers, which limits market access.
Industrial Production
Cadbury, beside many other companies, supply the local market through its local
production units. Cadbury India manages to practice this through five factories,
located in Thane, Pune, Induri and Malanpur in West India, and Baddi in North
India. Cocoa, being a major raw material as discussed, is not only imported but also
procured mainly from local plantations in South India, in the states of Kerala, Tamil
Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The company, after manufacturing many of its
mouthwatering products exports them in bulk to Sri Lanka, Dubai, the US and the
Maldives. The positive outcome of this is that Cadbury India does not have to be
involved in third party manufacturing.

Blount s Disease Research Paper
Causes Infants start out with bowlegs because of their folded position while in
their mother s womb. The legs begin to straighten once the child starts to walk
when they about 12 to 18 months. By age 3, the child becomes knock kneed.
When the child stands, the knees touch but the ankles are apart. By puberty, the
legs straighten out and most children can stand with the knees and ankles touching
without forcing the position. Knock knees can also develop as a result of a
medical problem or disease, for example: Injury of the shinbone which mean only
one leg will be knock kneed, Osteomyelitis which is a bone infection, Overweight,
and Rickets is a disease caused by a lack of vitamin D.
Symptoms
Bowed legs are most evident when a child stands and walks. The most common
symptom of knock kneed is an awkward walking pattern. Toddlers with knock kneed
usually have normal coordination, and are not delayed in learning how to walk. The
amount of bowing can be significant, however, can be quite alarming to parents and

Effects Of Martial Law In The Philippines
On September 21, 1972, President Ferdinand Marcos issued Proclamation 1081,
declaring martial law over the Philippines. It has been 44 years since that dreadful
day, but the scars still remain in the heart of every Filipino citizen. Martial Law
proclaims that an area is placed under the control of the Armed Forces of the
Philippines. It is usually imposed when the government or civilian authorities fail to
function effectively. The reason behind the declaration of Martial Law in the
Philippines was to suppress a series of bombings, threat of a communist takeover,
and an assassination attempt on Secretary of Defense Juan Ponce Enrile in
Mandaluyong. This was also imposed to save the republic and to improve the social,
economic, and political... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, these good gains did not last long. Basic human rights were not attained
during the Martial Law. People at that time did not practice being disciplined at
that time, but instead, they followed orders because they feared the authorities
who had the power to arrest civilians who would disobey the rules. With power
given to the military to save democracy, they committed a number of human rights
violations. An estimate of 7,000 victims of torture, 2,000 people salvaged, and
1,000 people disappeared. (Malanes, 1999) Statistics are not just numbers. This
was a serious case of human rights violation wherein thousands of lives were lost
and thousands of families destroyed. Thus, the Martial Law is considered as the
darkest days of democracy. Human rights violations is the best evidence that there
was no democracy in the Philippines during Ferdinand Marcos regime. Additionally,
the economic crisis and debt crisis caused by the Martial Law made the country
suffer. Unemployment rates were high and poverty in the Philippines only grew
larger. A lot of people remember fondly the peace and order brought by the Martial
Law, but the brutal side of the Marcos regime brought us Filipinos into hardships,
sufferings, and

information interesting. After speaking with my father, I made the decision to

falls under two categories of Dr. Elzar s three political subcultures, which are
individualistic and traditionalistic.
Being that Houston is a city with many businesses, one can conclude that the political
subculture in the city is individualistic. For instance, when Annise Parker, who is
openly gay in the conservative state of Texas, was running for mayor of Houston,
she spoke about her experience with the city s finances and how that experience will
allow her to help the city in the financial crisis it was going through (). Annise Parker
won the election regardless of her sexuality. The assumption that one can make is that
the fact that Annise Parker has good financial experience, motivated business owners,
and entrepreneurs to vote for her on behalf of their own self interest, which is to have
a successful business. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

on the Confederate side were devastating to the Northern Army of Virginia at a time
when the south could not replace its dead soldiers effectively. What Lee hoped to do

emphases on the alteration of the Southern United States, as engaged by Congress,
from 1863 to 1877, with the rebuilding of society and state. Two men appeared as
the foremost applicants in the 1876 election: Samuel J. Tilden who was a Democrat
and Rutherford B. Hayes who was a Republican. Samuel won the Self governing

disreputable Boss of the New York City, Tweed Ring. He attained the administration
of New York in the year 1874 and by the year 1876 was chosen as the president. The
Democrats and republicans turned to previous Ohio governor and Union general,
Rutherford B. Hayes. The voting was centered on corruption issues in the party of the
Republican and swaying the blood spattered shirt at the Democratic Party. Itself the
election voting was contaminated with fraud, particularly in those South states which
are still engaged by Union forces. Initial returns of the election specified that Tilden
accomplished the general vote, but shortly disputed the returns raised in South

in a doubtful election; the voting was caught in an impasse. Congress then decided to

seriously, those are missed opportunities that you will never get back.
There are many large, and valuable, events scheduled around North America (and the
world, for that matter) that are a gold mine of opportunity when it comes to learning
and networking. Attending these events is one of the best ways to grow your
business and develop valuable and meaningful contacts, too.
I like to be prepared before arriving at these events whether they are the large, once a

many entrepreneurs, you just don t know what you don t know. I want to share some
of my best tips for seizing the opportunity and really getting the best return on

The only concern within aviation was the safety of flying. Hardly any thought was
put into the security sector of the aviation industry. This changed when Peruvian
revolutionaries took over a Pan American mail plane. In the period of time from
1930 to 1958, there was 23 hijackings reported. The first serious incident happened
in 1947 when the aircrew member was killed. In 1955, Jack Graham, placed a
bomb in his mother s luggage. The bomb exploded during the flight killing all

majority of hijackings were made due to either escape from the USA or hold
people for a ransom. In 1961, in order to prevent hijackings, the federal government

The Election Of A New President
ntroduction
The election of a new president can shift the policies of the United States in different
directions. From 2009 to 2017, Barrack Obama and his administration used a liberal,
globalist approach to foreign policy and domestic policy. Obama involved the United
States in global affairs and in treaties with other states. The election of President
Donald Trump reversed the globalist, liberal policies the U.S. had pursued for 8
years. President Trump has shown and stated that he supports an isolationist and
realist approach to foreign policy. Therefore, President Trump has made campaign
statements on defense, terrorism, trade, national security, and immigration that
subscribes to the realist paradigm.

. The budget increase for the DOD was 9 percent (52 billion dollars), in addition to
a 7 percent (2.8 billion dollars) increase in funding to the Department of Homeland
Security (Soffen and Lu). This budget increase is to help accomplish the goals
President Trump outlined on the campaign trail as mentioned previously. However,
this change did not come without costs to other departments such as a 31 percent
decrease in budget for the EPA and a 29 percent decrease in the StateDepartment s
budget. The action taken toward the budget and defense spending shows evidence
that president Trump subscribes to the realist paradigm and believes that the self
interests and protection of the state is the most important thing compared to
environmental protection and other liberal ideals.
Immigration
The issue of illegal immigration and the magnitude that occurs in the United States
was an issue voters cared about in the 2016 election. Throughout the campaign,
President Trump made controversial remarks about Mexico and Mexicans. President

over eleven million illegal immigrants, deny citizen ship to children born by illegal
immigrants inside the United States, and increasing border security. First, President
Trump is working on developing a plan for the wall and securing funding from

Enzyme Responsible For Regulating The Human Circadian
Clock
The specific topic being addressed by the members of this group is: Describe the
molecules responsible for regulating the human circadian clock and how they affect
metabolism in the human body. Be sure to address how the circadian rhythms are
governed, the signaling mechanisms used, and specific metabolic pathways. Note
you do not need to discuss each step in the metabolic pathway (e.g. you don t need

should identify where in the pathway the chronoregulators might be acting or what
molecules are being affected.

Introduction
Human behavior, though highly variable, tends towards a sleep cycle in which
roughly eight hours are spent sleeping after every sixteen hours awake. The repetition
of this cycle is the expression of the circadian rhythm. This paper investigates the
circadian rhythm by dividing it into three functions: an internal clock that estimates
whether it is day or night, an entrainment mechanism that adjust the clock to shifts in
day/night cycles, and a signaling method that determines whether the organism will
perform biochemical action appropriate to the clock s perception of daytime or
nighttime.
Discussion
Timekeeping
The master circadian clock is found in the anterior hypothalamus suprachiasmatic
nucleus. This region contains roughly 20,000 neurons arranged in clusters. These
clusters demonstrate low electrical potential activity at night and high electrical
potential activity during the day with a period of roughly 24 hours. This periodic
activity level mirrors the human circadian rhythm s tendency towards low arousal at
night
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ( Ptsd ) Essay
Post Traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects thousands, from abused children to
men and women in the military. PTSD can be caused by physical and or emotional
trauma, it is not exclusive to one race, gender or age group. PTSD can effect anyone
who is exposed to severe trauma and is diagnosed at alarming rates. What
neurological damage is caused, where in the brainis this damage caused and how is

Post Traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a common mental health condition
developed after a server emotion or physical trauma. The effects of PTSD include
nightmares, flashbacks, feelings of detachment, depression, and anxiety. Symptoms
are broken into three categories. The first are re experiencing symptoms, they can
include reliving the traumatic event, through flashbacks, and nightmares. The second
type are avoidance and numbing symptoms. Avoidance of things and places that
remind one of the event, detachment emotionally from loved ones and bouts of
depression. Finally there are arousal symptoms such as being constantly on guard,
outburst of anger and irritability. Due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan over the

The Abbey of Saint Denis is considered the first absolute Gothic building. It was

CuSO4.5H20 was 249.5 so that means 249.5g of copper sulphate was needed to
dissolve, in order to make a standard solution, into 1dm3of distilled water. Following
this, a linear dilution of the CuSO4.5H2O was made in order to be used to make a
calibration curve after using the colorimeter to write down the absorbance of each
sample. A linear dilution is diluted with distilled water in order for it to make the
concentration weaker and weaker. For this investigation, the dilutions made ranged

Throughout history, anti-Semitism has been a reoccurring...
Throughout history, anti Semitism has been a reoccurring problem in which the
Dreyfus Affair was an important event. The Dreyfus Affair was a political scandal,
which divided France from the 1890 s to the early 1900 s. It was a very important
event in history. 1894 marked the start of a revolution for Jewish people, as a
French Jewish artillery officer, Captain Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason
(Isseroff). The accusations against Dreyfus were false all because he was a Jew.
Following his accusation Dreyfus accumulated many followers that became known
as Dreyfusards and there were also those who were against him called anti
Dreyfusards (Drefler). Alfred Dreyfus was born into an upper middle class on
October 9th 1859 in Mulhouse,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was convicted of treason by court martial in December 1894 and sentenced to
life imprisonment in solitary confinement on Devil s Island, a prison off the coast
of French Guiana (Derfler). Before his deportation to Guiana he was publicly
degraded and humiliated. This false conviction was based on a list called the
bordereau, which contained admission to secret French military information
(Dreyfus). This list was picked out of the garbage pail of Maximilian Von
Schwartzkoppen, a German military attach in Paris (Johnson). Many years passed
before the truth was uncovered, Dreyfus was innocent and although false
information was used he was an easy target because the writing in the bordereau
matched his handwriting and the information came from an artillery officer
(Johnson). In 1899, Alfred Dreyfus was granted a presidential pardon and it is
unwritten that he had committed treason against Dragnev 3 France (Martin). It was
a matter of life or death because Dreyfus feared that he would not survive the well
known penal colony. The bordereau looked to connect an artillery officer since it
intended access to specific information regarding a new French artillery weapon
called the Modele 1890 120mm Banquet howitzer (Read). Along with the fact that
Dreyfus was a highly skilled artillery officer, he was
The Soviet Union s Nuclear Arms Race
Within four years of the United States bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the
Soviet Union successfully tested its first nuclear weapon. Ultimately, this test would
begin the arms race between the US and the USSR, which would come to be one of
the largest sources of political tension between the two countries throughout the Cold
War. While lack of information and historical bias from an American point of view
suggests that the USSR created its nuclear industry solely to beat the west, further
analysis shows that the Soviet Union had wide ranging purposes for the creation of
its nuclear industry. Therefore, while the United Statessuccesses in nuclear technology
may have expedited the launch of the Soviet Union s nuclear program, ultimately,...

The investment in alternate energy that the USSR made, especially for a highly
industrial country whose economic development largely relied on the production of
fossil fuels, is unparalleled. The Soviet Union had two main, long term incentives
for investing in nuclear energy: One, 80% of the countries fossil resources were
located in the eastern half of the country while 75% of the population lived in the
western half, and two, nuclear power is less damaging to the local environments than
conventional fossil power. Interestingly, the USSR actually led the world in the use
of nuclear power to generate electricity, creating the world s first nuclear power plant
at Obninsk on June 27th, 1954. The success and speed of the Soviet Union s reactor
production shows both advantages and disadvantages of the country s political
system, as the country was able to allocate all resources to the research of various
power generation methods without the limits of waiting for individual company
investment; however, this often incurred high costs both with safety standards and
economically. However, by 1985, the countries investments in nuclear energy
production appeared to have paid off, with nuclear energy

  • 2. Eating Meat Or To Eat Meat Essay To eat meat or to not eat meat? This is the question... There is little doubt that the evolution of humans has been connected to meat in several ways. Humans are not herbivores in an obligatory way; our enzymes evolved to digest meat whose consumption assisted in higher encephalization and higher physical growth. Cooperative searching of meat promoted the event of language and socialization; the evolution of previous World societies was, to a major extent, supported domestication of animals; in ancient societies, meat uptake, quite the consumption of the other class of foodstuffs, has guided humans to fascinating preferences, bans and numerous food ways; and fashionable Western agricultures are heavily meat oriented. I looked to my right seeing my spouse before looking over my shoulder to the looks of my son placing his book bag on the floor, it was his first day of middle schooland I couldn t be more nervous for him. He was slightly anxious to get there on time, as was I. Flying out of our neighborhood as we started to drive towards this new chapter in our families lives, I could only stop and think back of a moment that helped shape me into who I am today... I was so nervous to start middle school... Oh My God. Middle school is the time I think when parents utterly question the whole reason why they had unprotected sex in the beginning. Your body goes through such an awkward state of being, puberty. Ugh, just saying the word makes me cringe, just like my voice did for the longest time. You could say I was the definition of a late bloomer, my mind was advancing and I was growing taller but never gained any muscle, facial hair or balls dropping, unlike the other boys. Middle school was this transitional period where boys and girls started to get interested in each other, the whole cootie phase was over and now they started to either get physical or at least think they were getting physical with one another. I had one girlfriend throughout middle school and lets be honest, she wasn t my girlfriend. Let s get something

  • 5. Greenhouse Gas Emissions And Climate Change Greenhouse Gas Emissions Resulting in Climate Change The Sun is responsible for all of the energy that enters the Earth s atmosphere. The Earth s energy is in balance when Earth emits the same amount of energy as it absorbs (Schneider, 1987). But today, the Earth is absorbing more energy than is what is being released due to increases in greenhouse gases in the Earth s atmosphere (Herbert, 2007). Out of the total energy entering the Earth s atmosphere, as seen in Figure 1, only 30% is being reflected back into space due the Earth s albedo (Schneider, 1987). The other 70% of this energy is being absorbed by the Earth s surface and atmosphere (Schneider, 1987). Here we are going to discuss how increasing greenhouse gas concentrations leads to climate change, some consequences that come with climate change and what can be done about it. The Earth has been known to go through various natural warming and cooling periods throughout history. During warmer interglacial periods, CO2 levels are higher and during cooler glacial periods, CO2 levels are lower (Monnin, 2004). This is because the heating and cooling of Earth s surface can cause significant changes in greenhouse gas concentrations (Monnin, 2004). These changes often act as a positive feedback, intensifying the existing temperature changes (Monnin, 2004). For example, it was slightly warmer during the Holocene Climatic Optimum about 5,000 6,000 years ago and was slightly cooler during the Little Ice Age from about 1600 AD

Technology created many ways for people to move from one place to another, like the metro, bus, train, bicycles and cars. They are the most common transportation tools used by the people who live in big cities. Science is trying to take it a step further by making the car driverless. Self drivingcars are becoming realistic and reliable, since it is developed by many big companies competing with each other for being the first to release it for sale. Big corporations competing with each other are great for the progression of the self driving cars, because they will all try to make the better one compared to other companies and if they make it, the potential is absolutely insane. The first autonomous driving ever achieved was around 10000 B.C., when the first horse rider got onto a horse s back and rode on it without directing it to any direction. Although this technology rarely achieved the goal of arriving at a target destination, for 11980 years, this was the only form of autonomous driving humankind could get. This is the earliest traces of the autonomous found. The second earliest was a Mercedes Benz team making a van drive itself on empty streets at the speed of 100km per hour. After that, they achieved a autonomous driving on its own for 1600km. Challenges from DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) spread this idea and

After the victory towards French in the Seven Years War, the political and social relationship of the colonists and Great Britain had shifted to a different direction. The colonists began to think of themselves as Americans. At that time, The British government felt that the colonies had become quite independence, and they wanted their colonies to start paying tax in order to help England pay the national debt. Not only were Americans forced to pay direct taxes, but they were also obliged to involve in strict regulatory acts such as Sugar Act and Currency Act. Sugar Act (1764) strongly affected American s trading in which their oceanic vessels and cargos could be inspected by the British Navy and might be confiscated if the paper and the goods that being transported were in disagreement. Currency Act (1764) restricted colonial governments to print their own paper money. These two acts put some colonists in anger but they were not enough to result in civil disorder until the Stamp Act was passed. Capitalism and free trade According to Richard N (2006), the free movement of goods due to free market or trade has led to globalization. Though the effects have been assumed to benefit all, there is a large inequality among the poor and the rich both within the countries among the nations. Capitalism is contributed to technological advancement, which has then influenced free trade. The uncontrolled globalization has resulted in more developed societies becoming rich. The rich economies are able to exploit the market by producing at lower price due to their level of technology and advancement in research. They are also able to protect their economy through export subsidies and production subsidies to their farmers. This translates to lower prices for their goods in the global market hence controlling it. The poor countries despite having comparative advantage in production of some commodities they also suffer from competitive advantage from the developed countries they are forced to sell their commodities at a lower price than their expected. They suffer a lot in global trade, which is mainly controlled by the wealthier nations. There are regulations, which restrict the flow of goods in the world market from poor societies. This makes

Technical violations can range from a curfew to stipulations that the parole must not drink alcohol or be in a house that contains alcohol. These technical violations, while some may consider small or insignificant violation, can cause hardships and negative outcomes for the parolee. These technical parole terms are put in place to hopefully lessen the likelihood that the parolee will reoffend. For example, the members justice system may believe that parolees are more at risk to reoffend when drunk thus they place the parolee under strict instructions to not consume any alcohol or even be in the presence of alcohol to hopefully help curb temptation to drink. The parolee may also have less control of their anger and may go back to their habit of being violent. These parole terms
  • 13. The Importance Of Job Description And Job Analysis Job descriptions and job analysis help to provide accurate information to incumbents about the daily functions of the position available and its expectations. A job analysis is completed to determine activities, skills, and knowledge required of an employee for a specific job (Jahn, 2014). Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and employee recordings all play a role in determining a job analysis. Job analysis provides a method to understand a job by examining the tasks performed on the job, the competence to perform those tasks, and the connection between the task and the competencies (Bortz Steisel, 2014). The final analysis provides essential tools, such as the job descriptionand job specifications. Job specifications identify critical attributes of a person suited to the job, which includes the minimum education and experience needed to perform the job (Jahn, 2014). Job descriptions help to support the job analysis. Job descriptions are narrative statements defining a job and what the employer expects regarding on the job performance (Jahn, 2014). Parents do have a duty to protect their children from the effects of violent television (Zuckerman, 1993), and one way that parents protect their children is to teach them such moral values as honesty, courage, and self control (Browden, 1995). However, because the children are directly involved in this problem, and are the ones who are watching and being affected by the violent television they are viewing, They need to participate in the effort to resolve this issue. Parents cant do it all by themselves; especially in these days of single parent and two career families, parents just cant be with their children all of the time (Mortimer, 1994). The questions that are to be addressed in this paper are the following: What is considered violent television? What are the effects of violent television on children? Who is responsible for the effects on children? How can we begin to resolve the issue of the effects of violent television on children? Several definitions of violent behavior in relation to the media have been put forth. A violence index compiled for cable television programs defines it as a clear cut and overt episode of physical violence hurting or killing or the threat of hurting and/or killingin any context.
  • 16. Myths In Greek Mythology 1. A myth is a traditional story that helps convey a fundamental or cultural worldview, wherein values are established by heroes in a legendary context. These values often contain important human truths or universal truths about human nature. For example, Homer s Iliad contains many important truths even though the story itself is full of fantastic/mythological elements, such as the appearance of the gods in the midst of the battlefield at Troy. However, Homer deftly mixes Greek mythologywith historical accounts of real persons. What Homer did with the Iliad was to link Greek heritage and history with Greek religion, to create a kind of historical religious epic poem that could teach Greeks about the past, their heritage, the value of honor, truths of human nature (such as the way valor is lost and won on the battlefield, or the way a mother like Thetis will do anything to protect her son). Not only does the Iliad explore the way the Greeks believed the gods to behave and look upon them, it also showed the way they saw themselves and the characteristics they most valued as a people. 2. The Iliad also reflects important social issues and concerns of the period in which it was composed. For example, it depicts how the Greeks really believed that their gods participated in their lives. In the Iliad, Zeus at first refuses to let the gods involve themselves directly in the fight between the Greeks and the Trojans. Nonetheless, the gods go behind his back and risk his wrath in

In line thirty three quot;ding and dong quot; I think could be anyone and noone. Death is a part of the poem but the turning point lies in line twenty five, which states: quot;one day anyone died i guess quot;. The main focal point is the uncapitalized quot;i quot;, in analyzing poems I have begun to look at punctuation to tell me something about the author and look more deeply into the poem and it amp;#8217;s meaning. The uncapatilized quot;i quot; gives a detached feeling when you look at the line closely. It seems as though he could be detached because of the death that surrounds this poem, has if does not want to involve himself as much in it. The quot;i quot; could also represent the importance of something, probably love which one of the underlying themes of the poem. The children are still alive until line twenty five. As in lines twenty two and twenty three they are thought to be just playing, not being an important part, but Cummings is quite possibly showing their lack of maturation. Capone then started working for Johnny Torrio as a bouncer at one of his brothels; this is when Capone really began to get exposed to the mobster life. He was exposed to the mobster life because Johnny Torrio was one of Brooklyn s most notorious mobsters. (Gottesman Brown) Not too long after working as a bouncer, Al took a blade to the face and that s how he got the nickname Scarface . He was soon welcomed into the Five Points Gang where he partook in burglary, prostitution, long sharking, and extortion. (Dictionary of American Biography) In late 1919 early 1920 s, Torrio moved to Chicagoto partner up with mobster, Jim Colosimo and took young Al Caponewith him (he was about 20 21). Capone was now a part of the Outfit ; a mobster organization that was ran by Jim Colosimo (Gottesman Brown); he was in complete control of the prostitution trade and a restaurant in Chicago (Dictionary of American Biography). Torrio was in charge of the resorts in Stickney and Burnham, Chicago; a working class suburb . During the 1920 s, the prohibition act took place, prohibiting the sell and consumption of alcohol. Cadbury has unfortunately seen lack of penetration in the rural market where people tend to dismiss it as a high end product, as the prices do range between standard and premium, never any less. The reason for high prices is due some of the cocoa, a major ingredient, having to be imported, resulting in several charges and a higher inventory. The company must also find solutions to natural conditions, for example, heat. The majority of the markets in India are not air conditioned, hence cannot store chocolates, at least during hot summers, which limits market access. This reveals the need for further study of Q. Introduction Human behavior, though highly variable, tends towards a sleep cycle in which roughly eight hours are spent sleeping after every sixteen hours awake. The repetition of this cycle is the expression of the circadian rhythm. This paper investigates the circadian rhythm by dividing it into three functions: an internal clock that estimates whether it is day or night, an entrainment mechanism that adjust the clock to shifts in day/night cycles, and a signaling method that determines whether the organism will perform biochemical action appropriate to the clock s perception of daytime or nighttime. Discussion Timekeeping The master circadian clock is found in the anterior hypothalamus suprachiasmatic nucleus. This region contains roughly 20,000 neurons arranged in clusters. These clusters demonstrate low electrical potential activity at night and high electrical potential activity during the day with a period of roughly 24 hours. This periodic activity level mirrors the human circadian rhythm s tendency towards low arousal at night

In this task the concentration of an unknown sample of copper sulphate using colorimetry was used to find the concentration. In this investigation copper sulphate was used which is CuSO4.5H20 as a formula. To make a standard solution which was 1M, the same clean equipment was used to make up the standard solution as used to make sodium carbonate. However there was one difference and that was that the hot distilled water was used to dissolve the copper sulphate crystals. There had to be enough hot water in order to dissolve the crystals into the beaker and then add cold distilled water to cool the solution. After this, the solution was poured into a volumetric flask just about to the 1dm3 line and then it was left there to cool to the same temperature as the room before filling precisely to the 1dm3 line with distilled water. The molar mass of CuSO4.5H20 was 249.5 so that means 249.5g of copper sulphate was needed to dissolve, in order to make a standard solution, into 1dm3of distilled water. Following this, a linear dilution of the CuSO4.5H2O was made in order to be used to make a calibration curve after using the colorimeter to write down the absorbance of each sample. It was a very important event in history. 1894 marked the start of a revolution for Jewish people, as a French Jewish artillery officer, Captain Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason (Isseroff). The accusations against Dreyfus were false all because he was a Jew. Following his accusation Dreyfus accumulated many followers that became known as Dreyfusards and there were also those who were against him called anti Dreyfusards (Drefler). Alfred Dreyfus was born into an upper middle class on October 9th 1859 in Mulhouse,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He was convicted of treason by court martial in December 1894 and sentenced to life imprisonment in solitary confinement on Devil s Island, a prison off the coast of French Guiana (Derfler). Before his deportation to Guiana he was publicly degraded and humiliated. This false conviction was based on a list called the bordereau, which contained admission to secret French military information (Dreyfus). This list was picked out of the garbage pail of Maximilian Von Schwartzkoppen, a German military attach in Paris (Johnson). Many years passed before the truth was uncovered, Dreyfus was innocent and although false information was used he was an easy target because the writing in the bordereau matched his handwriting and the information came from an artillery officer (Johnson). In 1899, Alfred Dreyfus was granted a presidential pardon and it is unwritten that he had committed treason against Dragnev 3 France (Martin). It was a matter of life or death because Dreyfus feared that he would not survive the well known penal colony. The bordereau looked to connect an artillery officer since it intended access to specific information regarding a new French artillery weapon called the Modele 1890 120mm Banquet howitzer (Read). Along with the fact that Dreyfus was a highly skilled artillery officer, he was
  • 43. The Soviet Union s Nuclear Arms Race Within four years of the United States bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Soviet Union successfully tested its first nuclear weapon. Ultimately, this test would begin the arms race between the US and the USSR, which would come to be one of the largest sources of political tension between the two countries throughout the Cold War. While lack of information and historical bias from an American point of view suggests that the USSR created its nuclear industry solely to beat the west, further analysis shows that the Soviet Union had wide ranging purposes for the creation of its nuclear industry. Therefore, while the United Statessuccesses in nuclear technology may have expedited the launch of the Soviet Union s nuclear program, ultimately,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The investment in alternate energy that the USSR made, especially for a highly industrial country whose economic development largely relied on the production of fossil fuels, is unparalleled. The Soviet Union had two main, long term incentives for investing in nuclear energy: One, 80% of the countries fossil resources were located in the eastern half of the country while 75% of the population lived in the western half, and two, nuclear power is less damaging to the local environments than conventional fossil power. Interestingly, the USSR actually led the world in the use of nuclear power to generate electricity, creating the world s first nuclear power plant at Obninsk on June 27th, 1954. The success and speed of the Soviet Union s reactor production shows both advantages and disadvantages of the country s political system, as the country was able to allocate all resources to the research of various power generation methods without the limits of waiting for individual company investment; however, this often incurred high costs both with safety standards and economically. However, by 1985, the countries investments in nuclear energy production appeared to have paid off, with nuclear energy
