through art making can help to reframe these emotions into something that is easier to carry.
In facilitating an art therapy group with adults who are bereaved and grieving, it was
apparent that art making allowed for exploration of both loss orientation an restoration
orientation. For the first session, the theme was around strength and groundedness. The group
began with the question of how do the adults define strength and groundedness in daily life and
closed with the poem Advice from a Tree (Shamir, 2016). The directive was kept fairly simple
and open ended, and the adults were instructed to trace their hand in any way to create a tree

The Female Pilots Of The United States During World War II
During World War II, the United States had a shortage of pilots, and the leaders decided to train
women to fly military aircraft so male pilots could be released for combat duty overseas. The
group of female pilots was called the Women Airforce Service Pilots, WASP for short. Young
women between the ages of twenty one to thirty five, all civilian volunteers, flew almost every
type of military aircraft but were not considered to be formally militarized. The program began
in 1942, and was closed by 1944. But within this time frame, the female pilots flew sixty million

Through the questionnaire and responses from all six participants, some dominant and overall
themes emerged. I found that the results of this investigation did and did not cooperate with my

While the Kid is drinking water in the bone filled ravine, the Judge shoots at the Kid and misses.
The Judge is an excellent marksman and has a clear shot. However, at this point, he allows the Kid
to live. Instead of shooting to kill, the Judge s shot serves as a way to control the Kid; to maintain
his suzerainty over the weakest member of the group.

Regis should have the shuttle be more accessible to students more frequently. As a freshman who is
not allowed to have a car on campus I find it inconvenient that the shuttle to the NatickMall comes
every three to five hours.
