Shoulder impingement syndrome is a progressively worsening condition in many
individuals. The use of a chiropractic adjustment or myofascial dry needling as forms
of treatment are both yet to be differentiated as to which is more beneficial (Fitness
Pain Free. 2016).
The aim of this study is to research the effect of a chiropractic adjustment on the
shoulder and the cervical spine, and compare to dry needling of the shoulder and
cervical musculature.
The research study will include three separate groups that will receive chiropractic
adjustments, dry needling or a combination of the two treatments. The results will
then be evaluated and an outcome will be based on these results as to which
treatment is more effective.

Introduction After the signing of the Convention on Biological Diversity in the
United Nations Congress on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in
1992, a number of development projects addressing the theme of biodiversity has
considerably increased. Many of these projects have been channeled through the
Global Environment Facility (GEF) or other international agencies. Also, many
bilateral projects have seen light. In the aftermath of the signing of the Convention
the Peruvian Government approached the Finnish Government in 1995 with a
proposal of a technical assistance project to assess the biological diversity of
Peruvian Amazonia and to assist Peru in developing a national strategy for
conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity in that region a requirement of the
Convention. This request was a result of a long term research engagement between
Peru and Finland through institutional cooperation between Peruvian institutions
and universities and the University of Turku in Finland. This cooperation had
already produced valuable new insights to assessment of biodiversity in Peruvian
Amazonia (Kalliola et al. 1993, Tuomisto et al. 1995, Ruokolainen et al. 1997,

Plural elitism is the pluralistic relationship between multiple elitist groups in the

Nurses Role as a Leader
Hand in hand with education progression and nurses being full partners, the IOM
fully expects that many more nurses will emerge as leaders. The report proposes that
leadership be embedded in nursing education to prepare nurses for this role. It
describes the importance of mentorship in helping nurses to achieve advancement,
leadership and partnership. Along with leadership roles a nursing residence or
preceptorship program would be prudent to better transition nurses all the way from

The film?s setting was in present and past scenarios, which made it very
interesting. As the old man Duke read the story, in a past plot, and the story began
to climax, he would be interrupted by someone in the nursing staff, bringing them
back to the present. This lineup of events leads to a sense of curiosity as I began to
wonder what these two plots have in relation. This curiosity will soon be fulfilled
as the story develops, and the two plots start to intertwine. The director of this film
did a fantastic job in combining these two plots, and giving the audience just
enough time to figure out their relation. He didn?t give it away too soon, or so late
that the story got boring or confusing. He also made very good use of underscoring
(background music with no apparent source) in a previous scene where Allie and
Noah where dancing alone in the middle on nowhere, to the sounds of Billie
Holiday. This particular shot was a three minute continuous shot taken with a
camera on a 300ft dolly track. The actors and actresses in this film did a
remarkable job in playing their roles. The language and wardrobe fit the perfect
description of a 40?s teenager. Now, this is what I call a love story. Based on the
novel by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook is most definitely the way a love story

Persuasive Speech Essay
For this assignment, I reviewed Ivan Coyote s persuasive speech, Why We Need
Gender Neutral Bathrooms, In this speech, Ivan told the audience that he was
transgender and had a difficult time using public restrooms. The reason being was
due to the fact that Ivan was not a woman, and not a man. Ivan used a lot of
different persuasive techniques to get the point across that there should be gender
neutral restrooms in every public space and outlet. One of the impactful parts of
this speech was the use of introducing personal stories. This utilizes the term logos
which means evidence and reasoning. It is very difficult to open up and talk about
past experiences that have heavily impacted you in some way. Doing it publicly,
or a greater cause and with a goal of bringing awareness is completely different.
Ivan was able to go to TED and discuss his/her story to the public, while also
knowing it would be taped and posted to the media forever. This was a very
commendable and brave thing for this speaker to do. It was heartbreaking when Ivan
mentioned stories of attempting to do a simple human everyday task, go to the
restroom. Ivan talks about being glared at, being talked about, yelled at, physically
assaulted, and plain dragged out of the restroom by security guards while still pulling

because I enjoy watching the game as long as playing it. I always wondered why
people would want to do steriods. It makes them better but also their at risk for a
