Nevertheless, the video got so famous that other from NND created their own remix in different
music genres, such as: R B, Rap, Heavy Metal, Rock, etc...
It became so famous it was published as an article on MSN Sankei News. Additonally to those
strange remixes version, a monk decided to upload a video of himself using the actual Buddhist
altar equipment ( butsugu) covering the video. This video went on Television NHK. Because of all
those phenomenon related to the Hannya Shingyo, they decided to call this period the DaiKukai
Jidai.
This music video is non sense for me, the whole video is a cartoon situated in a temple or shrine,
where Kukai is hitting the mokugyo while Hatsune Miku chants and hits the meditation Gong. My
question is why Hatsune Miku is there? Maybe because it was funny to put her in this situation or
maybe it was because it was funny to make sing Heart Sutra to a vocaloid.
I don t really know what Kukai reaction would be if he see this video...
I think he will be mad about it, because it s direspectful for all the time he have spent into
understanding this text in a thoughtful way. To see that the scripture has become a joke with this
video and is nowadays put on the net to make a hit. Especially the part where they put a Hatsune
Miku wig on his head, I think he will be
