The Doctor in Spite of Himself is a play that I had previously studied in France like many of
MoliГЁre s plays. I thought that it was ironic for me to go see the play for the first time in
theatre in the United States. I was really looking forward to hear how the actors would pronounce
the characters French names, which are rather exotic even for me. I think that because I had
previously studied MoliГЁre s work in class, I was expecting this play to be performed in a much
more traditional style. I was a little disconcerted at first when seeing the actors performing a more

I was not expecting the costumes to be as eccentric. Even though they were matching the
characters role and personality, I felt like they were too wacky and did not go well with the play.
Throughout the play, I enjoyed the role of music used to set a comic atmosphere and replace the
dialogs during comic scenes (e.g. when they chase each other around). I also thought that they
made a good use of light to indicate the moment of the day the scene was happening or to set the
atmosphere of the scene (e.g. pink colour during the romantic moments). Lastly, I liked the way the
play ended. Even though it was a little messy with everyone running after each other off and on
stage, and this policeman coming out of nowhere, which really surprised me; I couldn t think of a
better way to end the play.
Overall I think the actors and everyone involved in the making of this play did a very good job,
even though I liked the performance of some actors better than others. The fact that this translation
of the play was a more modern version original play made it more fun to watch according to me.

This study investigates the effects of high hydrostatic pressure processing (HPP) treatments (200
600 MPa) of eight different lamb cuts on lipid oxidation, fatty acid and free amino acid content. In
general, the eye of loin, flat, heel and tenderloin cuts treated between 400 and 600MPa had higher
oxidation values exceeding 0.5 mg MDA/kg. Saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids content
were lower in HPP treatment of almost all cuts (except rump and heel cuts) at all pressures.
Polyunsaturated fatty acids content was lower in HPP treated inside, knuckle, and tenderloin cuts
at 600 MPa compared to control. Nine essential and 8 non essential amino acids were identified in

Court bring about significant social change? In examining this question Rosenberg presents two

for social change while the constrained court view believe that there are constraints in place that

One thing that he does not make so clear is what he constitutes as significant social change, and
how he will measure what that exactly.
In reading the book Rosenberg does seem to give a hint of bias toward the constrained court as
being more correct, as it appears he spends less of his time arguing for the dynamic court view.
However it may not be bias that is perceived, but just that through his investigation he has found
that the constrained court view is a more accurate representation. There are some parts in the book
where Rosenberg almost asks too much of the Court for the dynamic court view, which makes it
appear that he is setting up the dynamic court argument to fail. As Feeley (1992) mentions in his
review of the first edition of The Hollow Hope, Rosenberg makes his arguments as a lawyer
would, which by definition sets up his opponent to fail and as his conclusion as the most obvious

children could lift massive boulders, while others could fly, make instant fireballs, or were even
invisible. Grandpa Portman stated that with the help of all these peculiar children, they would
defeat monsters. For a six year old, these stories sounded pretty believable, especially because
Grandpa Portman had photos. However, as he grew older, Jacob stopped believing these far

Today I went to my first AMP meeting. It was completely different than I expected, but I think
that will turn out to be a good thing. In the beginning I thought this was a program for youth to
attend voluntarily, and I thought most of the attendees would be from families with foster or
kinship care. I was wrong, as most of the attendees were from group homes around Ames and they
were there as part of their recovery process. This shocked me a little but in just the short amount of
time I spent with them I grew to really like them. I think that often youth in group homes are

Divine Command Theory Thomas Aquinas
Thomas Aquinas was an Italian philosopher who lived during the time of 1225 1274 AD.
Aquinas was most known for his studies in faith and reason. Aquinas ethics relies on the idea that
there is a God and that God is a perfect and loving being who is cares for his creation. But,
Aquinas does not believe that Godhas a set of commands that distinguishes right from wrong for
each individual to follow. A way to explain these rules is by the Divine Command Theory
. To further
explain, these rules are better defined as the moral status of an action determined by the will or
commands of God. It seems that God created the distinction of right from wrong in order to aid
human beings to act in a way that is morally correct according to his commands so that they
could achieve perfect happiness. Aquinas tells us that perfect happiness is a perfect relationship
with God. The Divine Command Theory is completely independent of whether or not anyone
believes it and is applicable to anyone at any time. God has also wired all human beings in a
certain way in which we have the ability to perform virtues in order to fulfill functions and acting
in ways that are against virtues and functions would not be beneficial to the human as that is not
how God has created us and commanded us to act. By understanding Thomas Aquinas ethical
views, we are able to better understand the idea of the Divine Command Theory and why these two
