in a huge culture shock experience. Culture shock is defined as the outcome of stress
and tension resulting from contact with a new culture and the feelings of loss,
confusion and impotence, which is often due to loss of accustomed cultural cues and
social rules. This research focuses on the impact of culture and language, religion, and
personality on the adaptation of international students to the U.S. culture. It also
examines the adaptation process and culture shock experience of international

The Best Four Years Of Life
Most people would describe their undergraduate years as the best four years of their
life. It s a time for optimism, growth, and success. Unfortunately for me, my
undergraduate experience featured a slew of opposing feelings. My father had been
diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer that effects the bone marrow, during my
freshman year. This was a rare form of cancer that ultimately took his life during my
sophomore year. His illness and his death set the tone for my undergraduate career.
Watching his health deteriorate took an emotional toll on me that only one whose
endured this could fathom. My grades during this time were not at all what I knew
they could be. I felt defeated, like nothing I accomplished really mattered now that my

seeing as it is now being revealed to a narrower audience. I offered the same kind
of advice to help garner more clientele of a more mature age. Knowing that many
elders are still very keen in getting their information from newspapers, I suggested
to add advertisements in the local paper as well. After a month of giving these
suggestions, I was beyond thrilled when I was told by Mr. Kuruvila that more
prospective clients had been calling in due to coming across these specific ads.

Ethical Issues During The Nuremberg Trial
Some may say it is ethical to use information from an unethical study, but I believe
that it is unethical to use information that was obtained in an unethical way. However,
the Nuremberg Trial shows why it is unethical to use information from studies that
are unethical. The Belmont Report and Declaration of Helsinki both allow for
researchers to understand what is considered ethical and unethical before starting
their research. Unethical research has been characterized by the Nuremberg trials and
other research that has been done in the past to cause harm to an individual that is

costs, and much more. Once all of this is written out researchers then have to get
their study approved before they can move forward with their study (Neutens

like a lot, however, it may save a lot of time and energy in court if something
