Difference Between Alland And Alice In Wonderland
After reading Alice s Adventures in Wonderland and then watching the Disney movie Alice in
Wonderland, I found that there were a couple of main plot differences. A main plot difference was
that the poem the Caterpillar asked Alice to Recite was different in the book than it was in the
movie. In the movie, Alice recited a poem titled How Doth the Little Crocodile, and in the book she
recites the poem titled You Are Old, Father William. The Caterpillar is also portrayed much
meaner throughout the movie compared to the book. At the end of the book, Alice woke up her
sister and told her about the dreams that she had. It turned out that the sister also dreamt
something very similar. In the movie though, Alice had woken up her parents. I feel that the
meaning between the two different poems that are read aloud by Alice are very different. One
being more a story to follow and the other being a short riddle to solve. Each of them are
important, but in a movie context, I feel that the short riddle is a little easier to follow.
Wonderland is not supposed to make much sense, so if the riddle confuses the viewer, they are

The work I choose was Le Havre: Le Grande Quai, by Maurice de Vlaminck. The artwork was
created in 1906 during the Modern Architecture era and the Expressionist Movement (Saint
Louis Art Museum). The painting was created on location at the port of Le Havre in
northwestern France (Maurice De Vlaminck). The artwork was created on a medium of oil on
canvas, utilizing the primary colors along with white for contrast. Scaling of the work is
proportional or close to true to life, there is nothing that appears to be prominent or grander in
scale. This is similar in scale to what you would see if someone had taken a photo of the port.
The work has traveled quite a bit during its lifespan. After production it was acquired by
Ambroise Vollard in 1910. From there it ended up in a few different galleries and individual s

The teacher interviewed and observed was Mrs. Linda Grill, she has twenty eight years of
experience. Her first ten years of teaching were at an inner city school in Los Angeles, where she
said, I was the only white person there. For the last eighteen years she has been teaching a variety
of grade levels at Aurthur Hapgood Elementary in Lompoc, current she teaches kindergarten. As I
work at the same school as Mrs. Grill, I interview her almost daily, for the purpose of this paper

share in. Col. Grangerford is described as a gentleman all over; and so was his family (Twain, 96).

Colonel was kind, well mannered, quiet and far from frivolish. The
Colonel dressed well, was clean shaven and his face had not a sign of red in it anywheres (Twain,
96). These qualities are similar to those that one would find at a religious service. The person would
most probably attend in their best outfit, clean shaven, and cleaned from head to toe. Their manners
would be comparable to Col. Grangerford as well, acting like a gentleman at all times during while

both are followed till without understanding until the individual who partakes in them parish. For
thousands of years, people have attended some type of liturgical service without full understanding
of it, and for several generations, the Shepardsons and

In 1776, an important event was happening in the United States, the Revolutionary war. The
thirteen colonies wanted to break away from Britain s rule, however the chances of winning
were very slim. For this reason, 1/3 of the citizens were for a revolution, 1/3 of the citizens were
against it, and 1/3 of them were undecided. Thomas Paine realized that to become a free and
independent nation, he would need the help of every citizen in the colonies. Because of this he
wrote The Crisis No. 1 to increase the morale of the people, so that they would fight against

In all employment situations, there will be circumstances where an employee will find themselves
on a team with a specific problem to solve or goal to reach. Teams are an integral part of most
business situations. Leadership within the respective organization often creates teams. The way
that the leadershipinteracts with the teams can affect how cohesive the team is and if they reach
their goals. These two groups can cause a business to succeed or fail.

Utilizing teamwork has been a key to the success of our military for many years. The most
effective of these is the cross functional team. This is a team comprised of, employees from about
the same hierarchical level, but from different work areas, who come together to accomplish a task.
(Robbins Judge, 2009) One of these teams I was a part of was involved in ensuring a large multi
agency training event occurred without any problems. This event involved the Active Army, Army
Reserves, Army National Guard, Active Air Force, Air Force National Guard, Marine Corps, local
fire departments, local law enforcement agencies, and the Departments of Emergency Management
from multiple states. It had national military and civilian leaders that came to watch the outcome.
This extremely high stress situation was accomplished through teamwork and planning. The event
was checking the response of the agencies to a natural disaster situation. The meetings that we had
were to ensure that everything was provided for

The critics of this point of view think that private sector censorship will not be enough. They
believe that the entertainment industry will not be able to control itself. Private sector
restrictions do not have the authority of the law, therefore they cannot successfully draw the line
