Essay On Education System
Crafting an essay on the subject of the education system can be a challenging task due to the
complexity and breadth of the topic. The education system is multifaceted, involving various
components such as curriculum design, teaching methodologies, assessment techniques,
institutional structures, and societal influences. Addressing these aspects requires a
comprehensive understanding of educational philosophy, sociology, psychology, and policy-
making.
One of the difficulties lies in navigating the vast amount of information available on the topic.
The education system is dynamic, continually evolving in response to societal needs,
technological advancements, and pedagogical research. Staying updated with the latest
developments and incorporating relevant information into the essay adds to the complexity of
the writing process.
Moreover, discussing the education system often involves addressing its strengths, weaknesses,
and potential areas for improvement. This requires a nuanced approach, considering diverse
perspectives and acknowledging the intricate interplay of factors influencing the effectiveness of
education systems worldwide.
Furthermore, the essay may require a critical analysis of various educational models,
philosophies, and their real-world implementations. Evaluating the impact of different
approaches on student outcomes, equity, and societal development demands a thoughtful and
well-reasoned discussion.
Additionally, the writer must be able to present a coherent and logical argument while
maintaining clarity and conciseness. Balancing depth of analysis with accessibility for a broad
audience can be challenging.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the education system is no simple feat. It demands a deep
understanding of educational principles, a critical examination of various perspectives, and the
ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner. As with any intricate topic, it
requires time, effort, and dedication to produce a well-crafted piece that contributes
meaningfully to the discourse on education.

Prevention Of Personal Injury And Loss Of Life
10) Employee Involvement: Each facility manager must decide on the extent of
employee involvement in response to an emergency, awareness, regular drill,
reporting channel, response procedure, etc. Drills: Planning for fire emergencies
requires drilling. The prevention of personal injury and loss of life are the prime
objectives of emergency planning. Fire drills must be conducted to test the
organization s abilities and readiness to handle a fire emergency. One of the most
important elements in fire protection EVACUATION of employees can be tested.
Planned and unannounced drills should be conducted, each one serving its own
purpose. Planned drills focus attention on inspections and training while
unannounced ones truly test your organization s response. Planning for fire
emergencies requires drilling. (The prevention of personal injury and loss of life
are the prime objectives of the emergency planning.) Carefully plan and periodically
carry out fire drills. Train employees to evacuate the building immediately at the
proper alarm/signal. All employees should recognize the evacuation signal and know
the exit route they are to follow. Upon hearing the signal, they should shut off
equipment and report to a pre determined assembly point. This point generally will
be located outside of the building. Primary and alternate routes should be established
and all employees should be trained to use either route. When employees are
assembled, the line manager of each
Income Statements
The 2012 income statements for Google and Apple are built according to the
following assumptions. For each company, the revenue will increase at the
average rate for the past two years. The dynamics for each company have changed
significantly in the past two years, as each in that time span has grown from being
a relatively small player in mobile to being the two world leaders. Apple in
particular has only had the iPad for a couple of years, so prior growth rates are not
applicable. For Google, the short time frame reflects what should be maturity in
the online advertising market, resulting in growth rates that are slower than the
company has enjoyed on average in the past 10 years. The expense categories are
going to be assumed as equal to their average of the past three years, which allows
for the expenses to be understood in terms of the mobile era for each of these
companies. No unusual expenses are expected; they are unusual in nature therefore
are probably not going to be budgeted. Taxation will be budgeted at the average rate
for the past three years. It is also assumed that there is no low, average and high
estimates for revenues. As software companies, employees are the most significant
operating cost other than COGS. These companies can adjust hiring easily should
revenues lag, hiring can be adjusted within a month or quarter. This negates the
usefulness of the low estimate, which would be more valuable to firms that have a
more difficult time adjusting their

There are those who are quick to get into the holiday spirit, and there are those who
blog angrily about how they saw candy canes on the Wal Mart shelves before
Halloween. To satisfy those in the former group, radio stations have been jumping on
the 24 hour holiday music train since the mid 1990s. To the disappointment of the
latter, the trend is gaining momentum and starting earlier than ever this year.
I have never seen a more successful, impactful and sustainable impact on ratings as all

They also point out that competition between broadcasters often leads to stations
turning earlier and earlier.
This year, Pandora is pushing over 35 holiday themed channels, and Sirius XM
boasts 8, with one that is nonstop year round. But the iHeartRadio Network has been
plotting their attack all year. President Darren Davis said their all holiday preparation
usually begins in August.
It s about more than just the songs, said Davis. When you walk into a Hallmark store
around the holidays, everything is Christmas the carpet is Christmas, the window
decorations are Christmas, it smells like Christmas candles and cookies. That s the
environment we try to create with our Christmas radio station.
While most radio stations are racing to be the first, one UK station hopes to be the
last. Starting today, Birmingham s Free Radio 80s aims to set a new record as the
first FM radio station to broadcast nonstop holiday tunes for 33 days
Cons Of Eugenics
The idea that one can improve the human race by careful selection of those who
mate and produce offspring is called eugenics. It is better understood as the process
of selective breeding can improve human society. The term eugenics is from the
greek, meaning well born . The idea of eugenics is to have a society be abundant with
many wanted traits, during a movement called the melting pot where people tried to
solve their problems with the use of technology. Inquiries into HumanFaculty and Its
Development, is the book in which Sir Francis Galton first mentioned the term
eugenics. In the book he says that humans believe that humans were disrupting
evolution in maintaining the weak and sickly through social welfare programs, mental

The way eugenics will be used is by correcting genetic problems in embryos. Soon
enough a parent will be able to find out the accurate view of their child s genes,
allowing any defects to be seen. If the child seems perfectly healthy no changes
will be made. On the other hand if a problem is spotted the parents may choose to
go through with gene therapy, also known as eugenics. This process will not only
be able to identify health problems, but also personality traits. It allows the baby to
be deigned to the parents desire. There are many pros and cons to this concept,
which is a reason why there are questions to whether the situation can be resolved
or not. One of the greatest benefits of eugenics is the possibility of fighting
illnesses and curing types of cancer. The chances of cancer or genetic illnesses is
when the persons genes are altered and the traits are passed on to their children. A
way to prevent genetic illness is when the doctor injects an artificial human
chromosome into the fertilized egg, which will cause the child to cancel the
effects of the illness as the child grows. A result of this would be that people will
be able to live longer and healthier lives. By using this method, there is a possibility
to creating the perfect child as it can possibly alter the behavioral and physical traits
as well. Although there are positive effects there can also be many drawbacks. In a
way eugenics can be compared to

Every person or family member who has faced a medical crisis during his or her
lifetime has at one point hoped for an immediate cure, a process that would deter any
sort of painful or prolonged convalescence. Medical research always has paralleled a
cure or treatment. From the beginning of the turn of the 20th century the most
unspeakable appalling atrocities against human beings was The Tuskegee Syphilis
Study. One of the most horrendous breaches of ethics in The United States history is
Tuskegee s studies and associated research.

No record exists of garnishment of consent of the participants. One of the ongoing
debates occurring during this time was the possibility of racial variation in the effects
of syphilis. A Public Health Service doctor by the name of Taliaferro Clark suggested
that this syphilis study would not fail by studying the effects of syphilis on untreated
living subjects. Taliaferro Clark s suggestion was adopted and a study set in motion.
During this time in American History African Americans had virtually no health
coverage to speak of, and most of the participants never had any sort of examination
ever. Study participants received medical examinations. Examinations were free along
with transportation and food. Benefits of the study were not made known and no
therapeutic research conducted that would benefit the participants. Study participants
were told nothing of their infection with syphilis. Treatment was withheld from
participants, and no satisfactory treatment given for satisfactory recovery to a few.
Public Health System officials denied study participants treatment and prevented
other medical professionals and agencies from supplying medication and treatment.
Another alarming fact resulting from the study is that the United States Draft Board
requested that 50 of the participants receive syphilis medication. The Draft Board
withdrew their request after receiving notification from the Public Health
Future of Passenger Aircraft

Every year the brightest minds in aviation compile the greatest technological
advances towards creating the safest and most economical aircraft on the planet. No
detail is over looked, and the bottom dollar is the all controlling factor. From private
aircraft to public aircraft, space exploration and beyond, the future is bright for the
passenger aircraft market, and everyone who purchases air travel should be excited to
see how industry unfolds.

Description And Main Objectives Of The Act
Informal carers often comes in the guise of friends, neighbours and relatives who
normally provide care on a voluntary basis.
A vital social welfare policy, is the NHS and Community Care Act 1990. The
concept and main objectives of the act as identified by Nocon and Qureshi, was to
enable and provide those of ill health normality, independence and a voice in daily
living and services that they received.
This policy also defined the difference between the more community responsible care
by the community as opposed to the older version of care in the community, when
individuals were cared for in a home type setting.
One of the traits of community and personal relationships is that individuals
normally share same or similar background and norms and values. so are therefore
from a social perspective in the best position to cater for the requirements for those
with a long term condition. According to Bigsby 2012 an individuals social network
featured a variety of people who offered various types of care. He reported that
neighbours although in close proximity offered low commitment and brisk response,
as opposed to intermediate relatives and partners who offered a continuous and
immense amount of contact. Bigsby went on to include other family members who
although they may not be in close proximity nevertheless still offered other forms of
support such as finance and advocacy. The last group that he identified in the social
network were friends who contributed emotional

They are considered as being in the class of sporting dogs, one that is generally used

They were being mainly used as gun dogs in the war. Gun dogs are a category of
dog breeds that are used to assist hunters to find and retrieve game, and the Labrador
Retrievers were especially useful for this because they are born with a natural knack
for retrieving.
There are 2 genes in Labrador Retrievers that decide the dog s colouring. The first
gene determines the real colour, yellow, black or brown; the second gene is in charge
of the pigmentation of the actual colouring of the dog s coat. It determines whether
the Labrador Retriever should be light yellow or a rich dark brown colour.
Yellow, Black and chocolate are not the only colors of Labrador retriever. Silver
Labradors are chocolate Labs with a dilution gene that makes their coat to be
lighter in color. Yellow and Black labs may also have these dilution genes, except
the difference in their coat color isn t as remarkable as it is with the chocolate.
Although, the idea of silver Labs is still controversial among breeders, as no kennel
clubs recognize it as an acceptable color. Still, some breeders passionately advocate
for silver Labs to be recognized and allowed to compete in
In Plato S Euthyphro, Socrates And Euthyphro Discuss The
In Plato s Euthyphro, Socrates and Euthyphro discuss the nature of piety. Euthyphro
first proposed that piety is that which the gods love. His proposal was quickly
objected by Socrates though, since the gods often disputed amongst themselves and
therefore what one loves can be what another hates. Euthyphrothen revised his
hypothesis to say that piety is that which the gods love unanimously and for the
moment this was their conclusion. This definition however, that piety is what the
gods love unanimously, further proposed the question of whether the gods love the
pious because it is pious or whether the pious is pious solely because the gods love
it. If it is true that the gods love the pious because it is pious then the definition of...

In saying that things are not good by virtue of any rule of goodness but solely by
virtue of the will of God, it seems to me that we unknowingly destroy all of God s
love and all his glory. For why praise him for what he has done if he would be
equally praiseworthy in doing the exact contrary? (1)Therefore there must be
some moral standards independent of God that would be right or wrong
regardless of his being. This conclusion creates another problem, it could mean that
God has no freewill as he can not then act outside of the presupposed good morals
and therefore can not make his own decisions. If there are moral standards
independent of God and his will then that would limit God s sovereignty. It binds
God to something that makes him not independent. Instead of the good being
established by him he is established by what is good and in essence a new god is
created. This is used as a common argument for atheism, For if morality can exist
without God there is no need to answer for the inherent sense of morale that humanity
has in some context no matter what culture they are raised in.
There are also those who would believe in the divine command theory, otherwise
known as voluntarism. One philosopher named Duns Scotus held the opinion that the
ten commandments do not all follow the natural law. In other words not everything
God commands the world to obey is inherently morale to the world. Scotus believed
that while
The Reasons For The Failure Of World War One
When World War 1 broke out in 1914, both the Central Powers and the Allied
Forces believed that it would be over by Christmas. That rationale was greatly
mistaken. WW1 lasted from July 28, 1914, until November 11, 1918. There are
many reasons why the war lasted so long, mostly from the failure of the Scheiffen
Plan, new technology, a lack of supplies on the front line, and trenches. All these
dilemmas caused a stalemate. The stalemate is the main reason to blame for the
length of the war. On the Western Front, the Germans quickly invaded Belgium and
moved efficiently to put the Scheiffen Plan into effect. The Scheiffen Plan was
created so that the German army would not have to fight on two fronts. By mid
September, the plan had failed for a number of reasons. Because Belgians were able
to hold up the Germans at their forts, the British Expeditionary Force was able to
then mobilize and began to arrive in France by August 15. The French then had
plenty of time to move north to confront the German... Show more content on

WW1 introduced machine guns, modern artillery and airplanes to the battlefield.
A farmer created the most destructive weapon of World War 1, a useable form of
barbed wire. It was initially used to fence large sections of the American West, but
in World War 1 bared wire was threaded by the mile in front of the opposing
trenches. When soldiers would cross through No Mans Land, they would become
intertwined in the wire. During the beginning of the war, massive artillery barrages
were targeted to cutting the enemy s wire, which failed miserably. Also, because
soldiers were not used to new technology advancements, they were not properly
trained. Furthermore, many soldiers had difficulty killing the opposing troops and
were horrified as to what they saw which added a great deal of time to the war;

The caretakers of the zoos and the animal care staff always make sure that the
animals are always well looked after and feel as close to their natural habitat and
home as possible. The safe environment of the zoo increases life expectancy of
endangered animals. As said by naturalist Kate Sheridan from Quora.com that
animals live longer in zoos because they are removed from the food change and
from natural hazards. The animals health and diet is monitored carefully so if
anything is wrong with the animals , the zoo veterinarians know what to do and
how to heal the animal. Several species have been protected and reintroduced by
zoos. A study by Ariel Woodruff on Uproxx.com lists many animals who were saved
by zoos. Here are a few endangered species who were protected by zoological parks;
the Red Wolf was placed on the list of most endangered animals in 1969. With
fewer and fewer wolves left , The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and the U.S
Fish and Wildlife Service took action by working on four of the Red Wolves left in
the world. By 1980 the scientists of the The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and
U.S Fish and Wildlife Service declared that the breed was extinct but then in 1987
the Red Wolf was revived . Now there are more than 100 Red Wolves in the world.
In the same study by Ariel Woodruff , the California Condor was placed in the near
to extinction list in the early 1980 s with only 23 birds streaming in the skies.

History Of The Irish Famine
The United States had a huge impact on Ireland. It can be stated that it started off
with the Americas shipping potatoes up to Ireland. The Irish became dependent on
the spud as there were many available and the variation in meals you can prepare
with them. One can boil them, mash them, or stick them in a stew along with many

almost entirely on potatoes.
Along came Ireland s great famine between 1845 and 1952. This famine not only
killed through starvation, but also with terrible illnesses and bone deterioration.
These diseases included, but were not limited to, typhus, scurvy, syphilis,
osteomyelitis, tuberculosis, and rickets. These people were not getting
Transgenders In America
Being a transgender person in today s society is one of the major issues facing
America today. Through education, people will hopefully develop a better
understanding of what it means to be a transgender, and realize that they deserve fair
and equal treatment in our society.
Transgenders are people that feel more comfortable identifying with, and acting as,
the gender opposite of their own. This includes behaving, dressing, and even thinking
like the opposite sex. Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenner is a well known example that has brought
the transgender issue to the country.
Another form of a transgender person is a transsexual. A transsexual is a transgender
who has taken medical steps such as hormone therapy, or even surgery, to change
their physical appearance. Men can take female hormones like estrogen to develop
female features such as breasts. Women can take male hormones like ... Show more

Recently North Carolina has passed a law that states that in government buildings,
transgenders must use the bathroom of their original sex. North Carolina has taken
the view that grown men should not be allowed into women s restrooms.
This, however, creates a difficult situation for the transgender. For example, a
male transgender dressed as a female, could possibly pass for a female and go

immediately identified as a transgender. At best they would made fun of, and at
worst they could possibly be in a life threatening situation. The movie Boys Don t

vegetables consist of complex carbohydrates. Proteins are complex molecules made
up of amino acids that help in the regulation, structurization, and functioning of the
body. Proteins are found in meat and legumes and are utilized slowly, which helps the
body avoid producing unneeded insulin due to spikes in glucose. Supporters of both
the Atkins and South Beach diets claim that highly refined carbohydrates are the
foods to blame, which means dieters on either plan specifically avoid starches,
cereals, and most baked goods. Both diet plans instruct the user to replace the void
left by the refined carbohydrates with fewer, healthier carbohydrates, such as
vegetables. By keeping the body s glucose level moderately stable, the body does
not need to produce unnecessary insulin, which eventually results in weight loss.
During the first two weeks of each brand of diet, the restrictions for each method are
relatively identical. Although users of either diet plan are not allowed to consume
any type of breads, rice, pasta, alcohol, or sugar, they

Survival in The Bean Trees
In 1859, Charles Darwin published his most famous work, On the Origin of the
Species by Means of Natural Selection (Encarta 96). This book explained Darwin s
theory of natural selection, a process not unlike separating the wheat from the chaff,
where the least fit are eliminated, and only the fittest survive. An extension of this
theory known as Social Darwinism emerged in the late 19th century. Social
Darwinists believed that people, like animals and plants, compete for survival and,
by extension, success in life (Encarta 96). Under this theory, the individuals who
acquire the power and wealth are deemed the fittest, while those of lower economic
and social levels are considered the least fit (Griffin ... Show more content on

takes it in stride.
At first glance, Taylor may seem to be a little flighty; after all, venturing out cross
country in a 1955 VW that must be push started and has no windows hardly seems
responsible. However, as the novel progresses, Taylor is revealed as a sort of down
home superwoman bright, articulate, innately fair and decent, tough as they come

one when she was a child.
Despite the fact that she has barely enough financial resources to keep her own body
and soul together, she takes on the care of a Cherokee child of indeterminate age,
Noting In William Shakespeare s Much A Do About Nothing
Shakespeare s Much A Do About Nothing has seen many different interpretations of
the title. Much A Do About Nothing could imply that a great amount of chaos has
come about from an insignificant event. There are various different interpretations of
the word Nothing , also pronounced noting, this was said to be the orginal title of the
play, as the ending and final resolution comes about due to the exchange of notes as
well as characters taking note of certain aspects of other characters. The word Noting
was also slang for eavesdropping, which adds even more dimension to the title.
Eavesdropping is what drove all the characters actions in the play and is what
ultimately lead to the resolution of the climaxtic events.
The literal title of the play, Much A Do About Nothing revolves around the idea that
there is a large fuss, about nothing. Although there is plot and character development
throughout the play, the main plot is esssentlaily an uprising about absolutely nothing
at all. An example of this is the dynamics and development of Claduio and Hero s
story development. Their relationship and storyline ruins friendships, but in the end
all is forgotten and they end up marrying eachother. A big fuss is made yet in the end
a simple resolution is reached, which ties in perfectly with the title. ... Show more

Noting could either mean the notes exchanged by Beatrice and Benedick at the
very end of the play, as well as the characters deriving opinions about other
characters based on what others have noted about them. The most promnant example
of this, seen early on in the play would be when Claduio, after first seeing Hero, he
asks Benedick Dist thou note the daughter of Signor Leonto? (Act 1, Scene 1, Line

could not occur in real life.
Plot Summary The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician s Nephew, by C.S. Lewis, is
about a young boy and girl named Digory and Polly, respectively, who are
neighbors living in London. Digory and his mother recently moved in with his Aunt
Letty and Uncle Andrew after his mother became deathly ill and his father was away
in India. One day, while playing in a tunnel in the rafters, Polly and Digory

Polly: Polly is caring, firm, and knowledgeable as evidenced by her commonly
making wise, well thought out decisions.
Uncle Andrew: Uncle Andrew is foolish, greedy, and selfish which is shown by him
using Polly and Digory to test the rings instead of doing so himself.
Aslan: Aslan is wise, courageous, and thoughtful for allowing Digory to take an apple
to heal his mother.
Jadis: Jadis is evil, cruel, and crafty, which is shown by her ability to trick various
people into trusting her just enough to use them for her own benefit.
Setting This story primarily takes place in London and the world of Narnia,
occurring in the late 1800 s.
Theme One theme of this book is one bad choice does not have to define one s
characters. I believe this to be true because in the book, Digory made several
mistakes that lead to bringing Jadis to Narnia, but he helped protect them from her by
retrieving the apple.
Mood The mood of this book is encouraging because it shows that even throughout
all the negative choices and people, there were many people who were unselfish
and cared for each other. Some examples of this are Aslan giving Digory the apple to
help his mother, Digory retrieving the apple to protect Narnia, and Digory caring

This came as a shock to me and I was surprised to learn Illinois does not have any
laws governing payment in exchange for petition signatures.
Substantive Learning The majority of my practical learning has been gained through
collecting petition signatures for a number of political candidates. Through talking to
voters of ages ranging from 18 90+, I learned how to successfully collect petition
signatures and gained insight on voters most important issues.
Successful Signature Collection As I began working for the campaign, I was
immediately drawn back to when I took Campaigns and Elections with Dr. Black.
This class was taught leading up to the 2016 presidential campaign with class time

followed a number of successful strategies I previously learned about in this class.
First, the campaign used the Illinois Republican Party s voter database in order to
ensure I went only to favorable doors. Only two or three times did voters refuse to
sign citing they were Democrats. Through micro targeting conducted by the party, I
was able to have greater success gathering signatures and avoided activating strong
Democrat voters. Political polarization was another concept I did a research project

founded in order to make a big change in history. This is why he was describing the
many brutal incidents throughout his letter that has been accruing to African
Americans to convince many that the way they are living is not fair or right.
Furthermore, King s letter not only covers ethos and pathos, but he also tries to
demonstrate the readers logic in their laws, which is logos. He mentions how they,
whites, are nervous and afraid of them because of what they are doing. For

Dilemma at Devils Den
Susan was working at a snack bar, called The Devil s Den. At the time she was there
she realized that there were some difficulties of the employees doing their job right,
such as thefts that were going on for a long time now. Something else that bothered
Susan was that no one paid attention of the behavior of the night shift employees.
Devil s Den had a contract with the College Food Service (CFS). The employees
from the snack bar took advantage of this situation and they got too loose. They
took food after their shift and gave to their friends these freebies to. Susan s
colleagues took large quantities of freebies but no one ever checked the storage. The
storage room was unlocked all the time and all employees had free access to the food.

It seems that managers don t want to have any particular involvement with none of
the issues that the snack bar may have. The only thing that they know to do best is
to cover it up. This is very bad leadership and they cannot handle a difficult situation.
To be more specific, they don t have the knowledge of a leader.
Susan as a moral person wants all of these problems to end. She has already spoken to
Mack, the student manager of the night shift, about all of the things that were
happening under his supervision. She thought that maybe she could talk to the
morning manager, Bill, who wasn t one of the student managers. She was afraid being
blamed for spoken to one manager that actually cared about the Den. Talking to other
student managers would not benefit of something because they abused the rules like
the other employees. Susan had many potential to become a student manager next
semester. It was something that would give her managerial and leadership skills. The
only thing that she thought about was her future, but she could not work in the Den
in an atmosphere like this one.
Susan s perception like her behavior to had influenced by the annoying freedom of
employees, taking food for them and their friends. Also the weak supervision, lack
of responsibility and lack for respect. The student manager of the night shift didn t do
anything and she was in a dead end to what she
Milton Friedman Summary
American Economists, Milton Friedman stated in his famous 1970 New York Times
Magazine article, the manager is the agent of the individuals who own the corporation
, he continues with writing about how the manager s primary responsibility is to
conduct the business in accordance with [the owner s] desires . While at this time,
this assumption was greatly appreciated considered, many economists have to come
to the realization that there are a lot of flaws associated with this view. It has since
then been developed and critiqued. In this essay, it is my intention to discuss the
implications and problems that came along with Friedman s opinion. Touching upon
theories such as the principal agenttheory to solidify the limitations of this view in
practice. I will also discuss the relationship between a shareholder centered
perspective and value transfer and value creation. First, we must understand what
Friedman s view is on corporate social responsibility. What are the social
responsibilities that a corporationmust follow? Friedman discussed in his article that
it is the corporation s responsibility to make as much money as possible for the
stockholder. This statement made by him made me wonder about safety for the
workers, excessive pollution, and how situations are handled in less developed
countries and child labor laws. I think that Friedman was not aware how this
statement would be interpreted, especially in an inappropriate way. He was probably

Rohypnol is a drug commonly known as the date rape drug. According to the

the United States or Canada but it is legal in 62 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin
American and the Middle East. It is one of the most commonly used sleeping pill or
anti anxiety drug (Benzodiazepine) in these countries. People can get Rohypnol by

Tests can be done to detect Rohypnol in someone s system for up to 72 hours.
Rohypnol has been found in rape cases and it is increasing. Women are warned that
if they go out they should have their eyes on their drinks or just take their drinks
with them wherever they go. This is because some people crush Rohypnol and
place the powder into women s drinks. This intensifies the alcohol and they get
drunk quickly. This gets the to not be fully aware of what they are doing and it can
lead to problems. When Hoffmann La Roche, Inc. heard that their drug was being
used to drug people, they changed the pill so that it takes 40 minutes for it to
dissolve, and that way the drink takes longer to become affected. But even though
the company has changed the pills, people are still not sage because illegal
manufacturing of Rohypnol is taking place. It is colorless and odorless. For this
reason Hoffmann La Roche created an ad campaign to let people know of the illegal
manufacturing of the drug.
According to the article by Dominich A. Labianca, Rohypnol selectively affects
synaptic processes in the brain brought about by the central nervous system
neurotransmitter y amino butyric acid (GABA) (pg. 719). These processes involve
the transfer of nerve impulses between neurons and effecter cells. The effecter cells

Ngos As A Part Of Accountability
NGOs AS A PART OF ACCOUNTABILITY CHAIN IN SERBIAN POLITICS
INTRODUCTION
At the heart of good governance are the ideas of accountability, transparency and
participation. These ideas have grown in popularity after democratic changes in
2000; hence it could be said that concept of accountability is relatively new in Serbia.
Accountability has different meaning in different political systems, but in general by
accountability is meant the imperative to make public officials answerable for their
behavior and responsive to the entity from which they derive their authority.
Accountability also means establishing criteria to measure the performance of public
officials, as well as oversight mechanisms to ensure that standards are met. ... Show

Citizens are at the highest level of the accountability chain in Serbia and all
authorities are accountable to the citizens. Genuine elections no matter how free and
fair are insufficient in ensuring that elected officials are accountable and responsive
to citizens. Therefore, citizens need to participate in political processes between
elections and parliaments are citizens institutions that should initiate and enable
participation. As the representative branches of democratic governments, parliaments
are meant to provide citizens with links to the policy making process and with
methods of holding the executive branch to account.
While the Government is accountable to the Parliament, on the bottom of this
structure are various public bodies, agencies, etc. to which the Government assigns
power and responsibilities through regulations and policies. Independent bodies
working together with the Parliament on oversight function play an important role in
the chain of accountability.
Participants can discharge their accountability functions effectively only if they know
to whom they are accountable and for what. Likewise, they can hold others
accountable only if they understand who is accountable to them and for what. In
Serbian political practice, public officials do not have understanding of these matters
or they try to avoid responsibilities. Only at the highest level Government towards

best web design that has been done.
The Academic Editor Logo designing was the real challenge because it had to be
related to education or academics. One of our senior web designers conceptualized
this current unique logo and gave it a look which matched with the academics

The Geography of Panama and the Panama Canal Essay
The Geography of Panama and the Panama Canal
The Panama Canal is one of the greatest works of engineering and modern

Panama region had been suggested since early Spanish colonial times of the 16th

presence has greatly affected Panama in many ways, politically, economically, and

The canal is bordered on both sides by the Panama Canal Zone, a strip of land given
to the United States in 1903 but returned to Panama in 1979. The United States
turned over the control of the canal to Panama in 1999. While the Panama Canal is a
bridge of water connecting two oceans, building it ripped Panama apart.
For Panama the opening of the canal meant a great boom in it s economy. Panama
has probably earned about $200 million form the canal every year. In war or peace,
more than 12,000 ships from around the world sail through the fifty one mile long
Panama Canal every year, carrying 160 million tons of cargo, representing about
5% of the worlds total sea borne trade. The canal is particularly vital to the

Single and Not Ready to Mingle So many single people are under the impression
that they are ready to mingle again, but they are wrong! Are you one of them? How
ready do you think you are to mingle once more? People are single for many
different reasons. Some of the common reasons include that they choose to be
single, just came out of an emotional relationship and went through a trying
breakup, or that they find it difficult to meet the perfect partner. Being Single by
Choice People regularly choose to be alone and there is nothing wrong with that.
Some people perform better in life with a partner alongside them, but you find just
as many who prefer the opposite scenario. Choosing to be alone is perfectly normal
and people make this particular choice for the following reasons: They are
happiest when alone and totally love their own life They find being single to be a
simpler and easier life They enjoy doing all sorts of everyday things and activities
unaccompanied They have never been very social and are introverted around others
Depressed people find that being alone alleviates the depression Being alone give
them chance to reflect on their own situation, life, and future ambitions They have
more fun alone Various individuals find that being alone boost their self esteem Next
time that you wonder about a friend, family member, or colleague who has been
single for a long time, you may consider the above reasons instead of thinking that

Immigration Laws In The Late 1800s
Immigration law have the aliens pursuing fault dreams of becoming a U.S citizen.
The United States began to get big waves of immigrants in the late 1800 s and in the
late 1900 s. Immigrants came to the land of opportunities to begin a new and better
life. The immigration laws began with the Page act of 1875, that was when the
United Statesrestricted immigrants from Asia. Next was the Chinese Exclusion act of
1882, the act stated the prohibition of all immigrants of Chinese laborers. With this
act, more and more immigrationlaws came into play. In the early 1900 s the congress
created the U.S border patrol within the Immigration Service. (cis.org) In 1952 the
United states passed the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, the act prohibited
immigrants to come to the United states because the population was getting out of
control. In 1996, congress passed the illegal immigration reform and immigrants
responsibility act. The act... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The United States passed the Life act. The Life act was a mini amnesty aimed at
those illegal aliens who hoped to become green card holders through marriage,
employment or other categories, but who were not anywhere near approval yet, due
to the long line of people ahead of them. After the terrorist attack on September 11th
the United states began to question the idea of giving immigrants visas. 4 of the
terrorist did have visas and had violated the terms of their visas and became illegal
aliens. The attack exposed long standing holes in our immigration system that
included failures at visa processing, internal enforcement, and information sharing.
One of the main arguments was should we punish all immigrants looking for a
better life when only 4 committed a crime. I think the only thing the U.S should ve
done different was do a bigger background check and every once in while they
should try to check up on
Use Of Hydrogen Fuel Cells Is Better Than The Use Of...
A lot of people in our society have been questioning whether the use of hydrogen
fuel cells is better than the use of fossil fuels. Each of the two differs from the other
massively. They are made in different ways, have different outcomes, advantages and
disadvantages, so in order to consider which of the two should be promoted all of the
things mentioned should be first analysed.
Fossil fuels are defined as hydrocarbons primarily coal, fuel oil or natural gas, which
is formed from the remains of dead plants and animals. When these fuels are burnt,
the energy released can be harnessed to produce electricity. Fossil fuels are the most
popular form of energy as they have very low ignition temperature. All fossil fuels
undergo through the process of combustion. Combustion necessarily requires oxygen.
All the reactions are exothermic in nature which therefore means they give out heat
and sometimes light. The constituent hydrogen and oxygen react with each other
chemically and produce high amount of heat and energy. Different fossil fuels burn
at different rates because the structures of the hydrocarbons are different in each of
these compounds. However, one common by product of each of these fossil fuel is
carbon dioxide.
The combustion of fossil fuels can be shown by an example of a simple combustion
reaction for methane. The combustion of methane means that it is possible to burn it.
Chemically, this combustion process consists of a reaction between methane and
oxygen in
E Commerce Impact Of E-Commerce
E commerce Impact As West London Watches are developing their e commerce
there will be many benefits. For example they will be able to reach more people,
also they will be able to reach people from other countries. For example the
customers do not have to go and visit the shop, instead they can just go online and
visit the websiteof West London Watches and buy the watches from there. Also the
people from other countries can get the watches shipped to them from the other
countries. Another benefit is that you can sell your watches 24/7. For example
even if West London Watches have closed their shop then you can go online and
buy the watches from there because the website will never close unless the website
is under maintenance or the shop has closed down for some reason. Also if you
need for the next day you can buy a day before the shop closes and you can receive
next day delivery from West London Watches. Another benefit is that you get to
compete with other companies that use e commerce. For example you can compete
with companies in the USA, Spain, Germany and many other countries. Also West
London Watches can see what the best selling watches are and then they can order
some of the watches and start selling that watchthemselves by putting it up on there
website. There will also be some drawback to West London Watches for developing
their e commerce. For example the website/system could get hacked and that could
lead to a the hackers getting your and the
Pete Rose Psychology Personality
Publisher: Rodale Books

Pete Rose was born on April 14, 1941 and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio with his
parents Harry and LaVerne Rose. His father Harry could be described as hard
working, tough, and hard nosed, especially when it came to sports. Harry played
semi pro football and always pushed Pete to give 110% at all times. This attitude
and effort that Pete was exposed to growing up with a man like Harry stuck with
Pete his entire life and as a result he earned the nickname Charlie Hustle , although
it was not originally meant to be a compliment. In spring training of Pete s rookie
year, he got walked by Yankee legend Whitey Ford. Instead of jogging to first base
like everybody else in baseball, Rose sprinted to first ... Show more content on

This need for superiority was not only prevalent in his playing days but also as he
transitioned out of his playing days. In 1986, Rose was player manager of the Reds
and the last player manager in professional baseball, a feat that is unlikely to occur
again. Pete Rose will always be most remembered for betting on baseball while
playing/managing the Reds. Rose denied these allegations for 14 years, even in the
face of substantial evidence including an independent investigative report by Jon
Dowd (better known as the Dowd Report). The defense mechanism most often used
by Rose during this time period was flat out denial. While denying the accusations,
Rose likely received negative reinforcement due to the escape of the emotions
involved in admitting such a terrible act in the eyes of baseball. A potentially big
initial factor behind this is that shortly after the Dowd Report; Rose voluntarily
placed himself on baseball s ineligible list in August 1989 with the agreement from
then commissioner Bart Giamatti that after a one year banishment from baseball,
Rose could apply for reinstatement. Tragedy struck when Giamatti unexpectedly died
from a heart attack before Rose s year long banishment had concluded. Fay Vincent
took over as commissioner after Giamatti s death and was unwilling to reinstate
Rose, as many would have seen the move as disrespectful to
Nathaniel Hawthorne s Ideal State Of Mind
A good, hard fuck, a gorgeous woman in his arms, the soothing warmth of the hot
water, and the sensation of Harper s skin under this touch; his gentle caresses in total
contrast to the manner in which he d earlier treated on her on the cross. Hawthorne
experienced a contentment unlike any other he d felt in an eternity, and put that
down to the woman he held. That relaxed state of mindmay have been why the
concept that had been just a seed in his mind had popped from his lips with no
warning, and without prior planning.
It was an instinctual request, borne from the very first meeting with Izabel , and
encouraged by events since. The man prided himself on the correctness of his
intuition, and there was no regret that he d asked when he did, however at the back
of his mind lurked a slight sense of foreboding. The position would definitely not be
what she thought it may be, no matter what that was, and the smile as he planted

The Global Financial Crisis Of The Treadway Commission
(...
Introduction
The business environment is constantly changing; it is unpredictable, extremely
volatile and complex. This makes businesses exposed to risk because of the nature of
the environment. It is therefore important for businesses to make strategic decisions
on how to either reduce or make the effect of the risk less severe as much as possible.
Businesses have to identify and manage their risks to ensure their success and
continuation. According to the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the
Treadway Commission (COSO), Uncertainties present both risks and opportunities,
with potential to erode or enhance value. Risk management is an increasingly
important business driver and stakeholders have become much more concerned
about risk. The 2008 2009 global financial crisis and the rapidly deteriorating
global economy has created a context in which companies now face risks that are
more complex, more interconnected, and potentially more devastating than ever
before. Failure to adequately acknowledge and effectively manage risks associated
with decisions being made throughout the organization can and often do lead to
potentially catastrophic results. Risk may be a driver of strategic decisions, it may
be a cause of uncertainty in the organization or it may simply be embedded in the
activities of the organization. A good Risk Management program means that the
company is able, first of all to identify, then to measure risks, to project, to set limits
and to keep losses

Analyzing The Association Between The Emotional Stroop...
Words Have Feelings Too

Howard University
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the association between the emotional stroop
with trait and state anxiety. Researchers chose a cluster of eight random female
students in an experimental psychology course to complete an STAI form and online
emotional stroop test. By filling out and participating in the prior stated procedures,
researchers would be able to determine if cognitive processes are linked to emotional
disorders. The STAI forms determined the state and trait anxietyscores of each
individual participant. The emotional stroop test assessed emotions by keeping time

There is anxiety that is only situational, state anxiety, and anxiety that is general, trait
anxiety. Researchers in this study wanted to know if state and trait anxiety could
calculate a correlation coefficient with the emotional stroop. They also wanted to
identify whether trait or state anxiety would have a stronger association with
performance on the emotional stroop. Researchers hypothesized that both state and
trait anxiety would be able to be calculated with a strong, positive correlation
coefficient and that state anxiety would have a stronger association with performance
on the emotional stroop. Previous studies have shown that there is no correlation
between a high ordered construct and the time it takes on an emotion stroop test. In a
study conducted by Klug and Matthews (1993), results showed that general
emotionality was not important in predicting the extent of interference for color
naming emotional words. Brosschot and Ruiter (1994) found the emotional stroop to
be bias in anxiety states. If not bias by the emotional stroop, then bias by the
participants with anxiety. A study found that participants in various phobic groups try
to suppress their high anxiety when taking the emotional stroop test (Amir et al,
1996). Few prior studies involving anxiety and the emotional stroop have a significant
interference. Egloff and Hock (2001) found that only for individuals who have high

Argumentative Speech About Fraternities
What comes into your mind when you hear the word fraternity ? If you will be given
the chance to join such would you choose to pledge? or not not to pledge? Why yes
and why not? Apparently, everyone have their own perspective when it comes to
fraternities. However, originally, fraternities or fraternal organizations were meant to
be an organized society of men associated together in an environment of
companionship and brotherhood. They must be dedicated to the intellectual, physical,
moral, religious, and social development of its members. There are many attributes
that fraternities may or may not have, depending on their structure and purpose.
Fraternities can have differing degrees of secrecy, some form of initiation or
ceremony marking admission, formal codes of behavior, disciplinary... Show more

But sometimes, the real essence of having fraternities is being repudiated because of
some immoral acts done within the organization. In the Philippines, the existence of
fraternities are not prohibited. In fact, some are existing as legal organizations
carrying the purpose of being an asset within the community. But in a setting like this
in our country where powerful people abuses those who are not in position to make
their stands, where the real meaning of brotherhood is disregarded, I believe that this
is not an appropriate country to dwell with fraternities. The government should
abolish fraternities for they take away the significance of education and morality in
the Philippines. It is argued that the establishments of fraternities bring a very good
sense of brotherhood and companionship that leads to a well organized community.
Fraternities started existing wayback because of the strong desire of people in the
Middles Ages to show companionship. Undeniably, they are really intended for good
purposes and until now the arguments between the pros and cons of such
organizations exist. First are for those
Pleasantville and Back to the Future
Everything everywhere is constantly changing. People change, weather changes,
plans change, everything changes; you can t escape change. Two movies that really
illustrate the concept of change are Pleasantville and Back to the Future. In both of
these movies, the main characters Marty, David, and Jennifer are sent back into the
times of the 1950s and are faced with a world completely different from their own.
In Pleasantville, David and Jennifer get stuck in David s favourite television show
Pleasantville as the characters Bud and Mary Sue. Jennifer seems to want to stir
things up, creating change throughout Pleasantville, while David is doing all he can
to stop Jennifer from destroying their perfect world. On the other hand, in Back to the
Future, Marty gets sent back in timeto when his parents were his age. Unfortunately,
he runs into his parents, causing his mother to fall for him, supposedly interfering
with Marty s future. All of these main characters have to deal with a lot of change
the key concept these movies have in common. While Pleasantville and Back to the
Future both focus on the concept of time and change, both movies illustrate change
from different perspectives. These movies also have other similar concepts, such as
racism and the idea of the ideal family; however, they both differ by discussing other
social issues as well. Before traveling back in time to the 1950s, the characters in
both of the movies acted very similarly. In both Pleasantville

system is an automatically water releasing system in agriculture and green house
area. Here in this paper, it proposes the new structures of sensors for high sensitivity
and three types of moisture level indication systems which can be easily used in
fields to save the power and crop. The performance comparison made for homemade
sensors and readily available sensors, sensitivity improved to the homemade sensors.
The high sensitivity and consistency achieved by tin coating to the sensor electrodes.
The system monitors the land moisture every time and maintains the fixed water
levels by turning on and off the water motor. According to the security aspects and
repeatability it is good. Its implementation is easy and low cost for affording the

he could have made it out of the camp alive, because he was so young. I guess God

  • 2. Prevention Of Personal Injury And Loss Of Life 10) Employee Involvement: Each facility manager must decide on the extent of employee involvement in response to an emergency, awareness, regular drill, reporting channel, response procedure, etc. Drills: Planning for fire emergencies requires drilling. The prevention of personal injury and loss of life are the prime objectives of emergency planning. Fire drills must be conducted to test the organization s abilities and readiness to handle a fire emergency. One of the most important elements in fire protection EVACUATION of employees can be tested. Planned and unannounced drills should be conducted, each one serving its own purpose. Planned drills focus attention on inspections and training while unannounced ones truly test your organization s response. Planning for fire emergencies requires drilling. (The prevention of personal injury and loss of life are the prime objectives of the emergency planning.) Carefully plan and periodically carry out fire drills. Train employees to evacuate the building immediately at the proper alarm/signal. All employees should recognize the evacuation signal and know the exit route they are to follow. Upon hearing the signal, they should shut off equipment and report to a pre determined assembly point. This point generally will be located outside of the building. Primary and alternate routes should be established and all employees should be trained to use either route. When employees are assembled, the line manager of each
  • 3. Income Statements The 2012 income statements for Google and Apple are built according to the following assumptions. For each company, the revenue will increase at the average rate for the past two years. The dynamics for each company have changed significantly in the past two years, as each in that time span has grown from being a relatively small player in mobile to being the two world leaders. Apple in particular has only had the iPad for a couple of years, so prior growth rates are not applicable. For Google, the short time frame reflects what should be maturity in the online advertising market, resulting in growth rates that are slower than the company has enjoyed on average in the past 10 years. The expense categories are going to be assumed as equal to their average of the past three years, which allows for the expenses to be understood in terms of the mobile era for each of these companies. No unusual expenses are expected; they are unusual in nature therefore are probably not going to be budgeted. Taxation will be budgeted at the average rate for the past three years. It is also assumed that there is no low, average and high estimates for revenues. As software companies, employees are the most significant operating cost other than COGS. These companies can adjust hiring easily should revenues lag, hiring can be adjusted within a month or quarter. This negates the usefulness of the low estimate, which would be more valuable to firms that have a more difficult time adjusting their
  • 4. Nt1310 Unit 2 Research Papers There are those who are quick to get into the holiday spirit, and there are those who blog angrily about how they saw candy canes on the Wal Mart shelves before Halloween. To satisfy those in the former group, radio stations have been jumping on the 24 hour holiday music train since the mid 1990s. To the disappointment of the latter, the trend is gaining momentum and starting earlier than ever this year. I have never seen a more successful, impactful and sustainable impact on ratings as all Christmas music, said Dan Vallie, a consultant to New Jersey s WEZW FM and other stations across the country. This year, WEZW, also known as Easy 93.1, was the first radio station in the country to start airing 24 hour holiday tunes. They kicked off their nonstop broadcasting two weeks before Halloween. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They also point out that competition between broadcasters often leads to stations turning earlier and earlier. This year, Pandora is pushing over 35 holiday themed channels, and Sirius XM boasts 8, with one that is nonstop year round. But the iHeartRadio Network has been plotting their attack all year. President Darren Davis said their all holiday preparation usually begins in August. It s about more than just the songs, said Davis. When you walk into a Hallmark store around the holidays, everything is Christmas the carpet is Christmas, the window decorations are Christmas, it smells like Christmas candles and cookies. That s the environment we try to create with our Christmas radio station. While most radio stations are racing to be the first, one UK station hopes to be the last. Starting today, Birmingham s Free Radio 80s aims to set a new record as the first FM radio station to broadcast nonstop holiday tunes for 33 days
  • 5. Cons Of Eugenics The idea that one can improve the human race by careful selection of those who mate and produce offspring is called eugenics. It is better understood as the process of selective breeding can improve human society. The term eugenics is from the greek, meaning well born . The idea of eugenics is to have a society be abundant with many wanted traits, during a movement called the melting pot where people tried to solve their problems with the use of technology. Inquiries into HumanFaculty and Its Development, is the book in which Sir Francis Galton first mentioned the term eugenics. In the book he says that humans believe that humans were disrupting evolution in maintaining the weak and sickly through social welfare programs, mental ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The way eugenics will be used is by correcting genetic problems in embryos. Soon enough a parent will be able to find out the accurate view of their child s genes, allowing any defects to be seen. If the child seems perfectly healthy no changes will be made. On the other hand if a problem is spotted the parents may choose to go through with gene therapy, also known as eugenics. This process will not only be able to identify health problems, but also personality traits. It allows the baby to be deigned to the parents desire. There are many pros and cons to this concept, which is a reason why there are questions to whether the situation can be resolved or not. One of the greatest benefits of eugenics is the possibility of fighting illnesses and curing types of cancer. The chances of cancer or genetic illnesses is when the persons genes are altered and the traits are passed on to their children. A way to prevent genetic illness is when the doctor injects an artificial human chromosome into the fertilized egg, which will cause the child to cancel the effects of the illness as the child grows. A result of this would be that people will be able to live longer and healthier lives. By using this method, there is a possibility to creating the perfect child as it can possibly alter the behavioral and physical traits as well. Although there are positive effects there can also be many drawbacks. In a way eugenics can be compared to

Skotko University of Phoenix January 13, 2010 HCS 435 Ethics: Health Care and Social Responsibility Edward Casey Every person or family member who has faced a medical crisis during his or her lifetime has at one point hoped for an immediate cure, a process that would deter any sort of painful or prolonged convalescence. Medical research always has paralleled a cure or treatment. No record exists of garnishment of consent of the participants. One of the ongoing debates occurring during this time was the possibility of racial variation in the effects of syphilis. A Public Health Service doctor by the name of Taliaferro Clark suggested that this syphilis study would not fail by studying the effects of syphilis on untreated living subjects. Taliaferro Clark s suggestion was adopted and a study set in motion. During this time in American History African Americans had virtually no health coverage to speak of, and most of the participants never had any sort of examination ever. Study participants received medical examinations. Examinations were free along with transportation and food. Benefits of the study were not made known and no therapeutic research conducted that would benefit the participants. Study participants were told nothing of their infection with syphilis. Treatment was withheld from participants, and no satisfactory treatment given for satisfactory recovery to a few. Public Health System officials denied study participants treatment and prevented other medical professionals and agencies from supplying medication and treatment. Another alarming fact resulting from the study is that the United States Draft Board requested that 50 of the participants receive syphilis medication. The Draft Board withdrew their request after receiving notification from the Public Health

  • 8. Description And Main Objectives Of The Act Informal carers often comes in the guise of friends, neighbours and relatives who normally provide care on a voluntary basis. A vital social welfare policy, is the NHS and Community Care Act 1990. The concept and main objectives of the act as identified by Nocon and Qureshi, was to enable and provide those of ill health normality, independence and a voice in daily living and services that they received. This policy also defined the difference between the more community responsible care by the community as opposed to the older version of care in the community, when individuals were cared for in a home type setting. One of the traits of community and personal relationships is that individuals normally share same or similar background and norms and values. so are therefore from a social perspective in the best position to cater for the requirements for those with a long term condition. According to Bigsby 2012 an individuals social network featured a variety of people who offered various types of care. He reported that neighbours although in close proximity offered low commitment and brisk response, as opposed to intermediate relatives and partners who offered a continuous and immense amount of contact. Bigsby went on to include other family members who although they may not be in close proximity nevertheless still offered other forms of support such as finance and advocacy. The last group that he identified in the social network were friends who contributed emotional

Gun dogs are a category of dog breeds that are used to assist hunters to find and retrieve game, and the Labrador Retrievers were especially useful for this because they are born with a natural knack for retrieving. There are 2 genes in Labrador Retrievers that decide the dog s colouring. The first gene determines the real colour, yellow, black or brown; the second gene is in charge of the pigmentation of the actual colouring of the dog s coat. It determines whether the Labrador Retriever should be light yellow or a rich dark brown colour. Yellow, Black and chocolate are not the only colors of Labrador retriever. Silver Labradors are chocolate Labs with a dilution gene that makes their coat to be lighter in color. Yellow and Black labs may also have these dilution genes, except the difference in their coat color isn t as remarkable as it is with the chocolate. Although, the idea of silver Labs is still controversial among breeders, as no kennel clubs recognize it as an acceptable color. Still, some breeders passionately advocate for silver Labs to be recognized and allowed to compete in
  • 10. In Plato S Euthyphro, Socrates And Euthyphro Discuss The In Plato s Euthyphro, Socrates and Euthyphro discuss the nature of piety. Euthyphro first proposed that piety is that which the gods love. His proposal was quickly objected by Socrates though, since the gods often disputed amongst themselves and therefore what one loves can be what another hates. Euthyphrothen revised his hypothesis to say that piety is that which the gods love unanimously and for the moment this was their conclusion. This definition however, that piety is what the gods love unanimously, further proposed the question of whether the gods love the pious because it is pious or whether the pious is pious solely because the gods love it. If it is true that the gods love the pious because it is pious then the definition of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In saying that things are not good by virtue of any rule of goodness but solely by virtue of the will of God, it seems to me that we unknowingly destroy all of God s love and all his glory. For why praise him for what he has done if he would be equally praiseworthy in doing the exact contrary? (1)Therefore there must be some moral standards independent of God that would be right or wrong regardless of his being. This conclusion creates another problem, it could mean that God has no freewill as he can not then act outside of the presupposed good morals and therefore can not make his own decisions. If there are moral standards independent of God and his will then that would limit God s sovereignty. It binds God to something that makes him not independent. Instead of the good being established by him he is established by what is good and in essence a new god is created. This is used as a common argument for atheism, For if morality can exist without God there is no need to answer for the inherent sense of morale that humanity has in some context no matter what culture they are raised in. There are also those who would believe in the divine command theory, otherwise known as voluntarism. One philosopher named Duns Scotus held the opinion that the ten commandments do not all follow the natural law. In other words not everything God commands the world to obey is inherently morale to the world. Scotus believed that while
  • 11. The Reasons For The Failure Of World War One When World War 1 broke out in 1914, both the Central Powers and the Allied Forces believed that it would be over by Christmas. That rationale was greatly mistaken. WW1 lasted from July 28, 1914, until November 11, 1918. There are many reasons why the war lasted so long, mostly from the failure of the Scheiffen Plan, new technology, a lack of supplies on the front line, and trenches. All these dilemmas caused a stalemate. The stalemate is the main reason to blame for the length of the war. On the Western Front, the Germans quickly invaded Belgium and moved efficiently to put the Scheiffen Plan into effect. The Scheiffen Plan was created so that the German army would not have to fight on two fronts. By mid September, the plan had failed for a number of reasons. Because Belgians were able to hold up the Germans at their forts, the British Expeditionary Force was able to then mobilize and began to arrive in France by August 15. The French then had plenty of time to move north to confront the German... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... WW1 introduced machine guns, modern artillery and airplanes to the battlefield. When soldiers would cross through No Mans Land, they would become intertwined in the wire. During the beginning of the war, massive artillery barrages were targeted to cutting the enemy s wire, which failed miserably. Also, because soldiers were not used to new technology advancements, they were not properly trained. Furthermore, many soldiers had difficulty killing the opposing troops and were horrified as to what they saw which added a great deal of time to the war; another phrase known as shell

Several species have been protected and reintroduced by zoos. A study by Ariel Woodruff on Uproxx.com lists many animals who were saved by zoos. Here are a few endangered species who were protected by zoological parks; the Red Wolf was placed on the list of most endangered animals in 1969. With fewer and fewer wolves left , The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service took action by working on four of the Red Wolves left in the world. By 1980 the scientists of the The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and U.S Fish and Wildlife Service declared that the breed was extinct but then in 1987 the Red Wolf was revived . Now there are more than 100 Red Wolves in the world. In the same study by Ariel Woodruff , the California Condor was placed in the near to extinction list in the early 1980 s with only 23 birds streaming in the skies.

Autism Spectrum Decisions People with Autism Spectrum Conditions Make More Consistent Decisions Introduction It is known that people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) have atypical interpretations of local information, as they isolate local information from its context. For purposes of this experiment, the investigators were interested in knowing whether the reduced context sensitivity that people with ASC have, affects their decision making skills. It has been stated that a person capable of making rational choices between two items should not be influenced by a third item. However, it is known that decisions made by neurotypical adults are strongly influenced by third cues. This is due to the inability to perceive an item independently from the other options.... The major aim was to have a great color combination and along with unique design. Our team of experienced web designers came up with various innovative designs and finalized the one that is presently on the website. The designing had to be innovative, so lot of research was done to have a concept similar to disk imaging. Today, the design of AX64 is counted among the best web design that has been done. The Academic Editor Logo designing was the real challenge because it had to be related to education or academics. One of our senior web designers conceptualized this current unique logo and gave it a look which matched with the academics domain. Further, layout of website was little tricky as there was lot of description that needed to be put on the headers of the academic editor. Furthermore, the web development team decided to create the landing page in phases and see how the website appeared with all the text. Scent Station Our team was given this website Scent Station Fragrances with aim to give an eye catching design. As it s an e commerce website, which have more or less the same designing concept. We decided to give it a modern look by using images of the perfumes and at the same time user could get all information including the price. An all water passage through the continental divide of the Panama region had been suggested since early Spanish colonial times of the 16th century. Today a canal that was cut through the Isthmus of Panama is a reality. It s presence has greatly affected Panama in many ways, politically, economically, and socially. The United States turned over the control of the canal to Panama in 1999. While the Panama Canal is a bridge of water connecting two oceans, building it ripped Panama apart. For Panama the opening of the canal meant a great boom in it s economy. Panama has probably earned about $200 million form the canal every year. In war or peace, more than 12,000 ships from around the world sail through the fifty one mile long Panama Canal every year, carrying 160 million tons of cargo, representing about 5% of the worlds total sea borne trade. The canal is particularly vital to the economies of South America, connecting the Atlantic coast with the Orient, and the Pacific coast with Europe. Fifteen percent of all U.S. trade goes through the canal, and the oil pipeline beside it caries 600,000 barrels of Alaska crude oil to the U.S. eastern seaboard and beyond. Each of the two differs from the other massively. They are made in different ways, have different outcomes, advantages and disadvantages, so in order to consider which of the two should be promoted all of the things mentioned should be first analysed. Fossil fuels are defined as hydrocarbons primarily coal, fuel oil or natural gas, which is formed from the remains of dead plants and animals. When these fuels are burnt, the energy released can be harnessed to produce electricity. Fossil fuels are the most popular form of energy as they have very low ignition temperature. All fossil fuels undergo through the process of combustion. Combustion necessarily requires oxygen. All the reactions are exothermic in nature which therefore means they give out heat and sometimes light. The constituent hydrogen and oxygen react with each other chemically and produce high amount of heat and energy. Different fossil fuels burn at different rates because the structures of the hydrocarbons are different in each of these compounds. However, one common by product of each of these fossil fuel is carbon dioxide. The combustion of fossil fuels can be shown by an example of a simple combustion reaction for methane. The combustion of methane means that it is possible to burn it. Chemically, this combustion process consists of a reaction between methane and oxygen in

Rose denied these allegations for 14 years, even in the face of substantial evidence including an independent investigative report by Jon Dowd (better known as the Dowd Report). The defense mechanism most often used by Rose during this time period was flat out denial. While denying the accusations, Rose likely received negative reinforcement due to the escape of the emotions involved in admitting such a terrible act in the eyes of baseball. A potentially big initial factor behind this is that shortly after the Dowd Report; Rose voluntarily placed himself on baseball s ineligible list in August 1989 with the agreement from then commissioner Bart Giamatti that after a one year banishment from baseball, Rose could apply for reinstatement. Tragedy struck when Giamatti unexpectedly died from a heart attack before Rose s year long banishment had concluded. • 46. The Global Financial Crisis Of The Treadway Commission (... Introduction The business environment is constantly changing; it is unpredictable, extremely volatile and complex. This makes businesses exposed to risk because of the nature of the environment. It is therefore important for businesses to make strategic decisions on how to either reduce or make the effect of the risk less severe as much as possible. Businesses have to identify and manage their risks to ensure their success and continuation. According to the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO), Uncertainties present both risks and opportunities, with potential to erode or enhance value. Risk management is an increasingly important business driver and stakeholders have become much more concerned about risk. The 2008 2009 global financial crisis and the rapidly deteriorating global economy has created a context in which companies now face risks that are more complex, more interconnected, and potentially more devastating than ever before. Failure to adequately acknowledge and effectively manage risks associated with decisions being made throughout the organization can and often do lead to potentially catastrophic results. Risk may be a driver of strategic decisions, it may be a cause of uncertainty in the organization or it may simply be embedded in the activities of the organization. A good Risk Management program means that the company is able, first of all to identify, then to measure risks, to project, to set limits and to keep losses

There is anxiety that is only situational, state anxiety, and anxiety that is general, trait anxiety. Researchers in this study wanted to know if state and trait anxiety could calculate a correlation coefficient with the emotional stroop. They also wanted to identify whether trait or state anxiety would have a stronger association with performance on the emotional stroop. Researchers hypothesized that both state and trait anxiety would be able to be calculated with a strong, positive correlation coefficient and that state anxiety would have a stronger association with performance on the emotional stroop. Previous studies have shown that there is no correlation between a high ordered construct and the time it takes on an emotion stroop test. In a study conducted by Klug and Matthews (1993), results showed that general emotionality was not important in predicting the extent of interference for color naming emotional words. Brosschot and Ruiter (1994) found the emotional stroop to be bias in anxiety states. If not bias by the emotional stroop, then bias by the participants with anxiety. A study found that participants in various phobic groups try to suppress their high anxiety when taking the emotional stroop test (Amir et al, 1996). Few prior studies involving anxiety and the emotional stroop have a significant interference. Egloff and Hock (2001) found that only for individuals who have high trait anxiety
