everywhere, there are curved and bold lines, the bold lines are very obvious since it is of a
darker granted shade than the rest. The line starts off being a straight bold line,but then seems to
end up being curved into the free forming shapes. The texture of this is rough all around, the only
smooth section that is noticeable on the statue could be the flat part of the shapes or the bold
line as well. However, from the overall, sight of the piece it seems to be rough,but not too rough.

My First Clinical Shift As An Emt Student
Mangled Hearts Clipboard and stethoscope in hand, I walked toward the double doors that
flashed emergency in bright red letters above. It was my first clinical shift as an EMT student,
and first day jitters fluttered around in my stomach. I had no idea what lay ahead of me.
However, I was not expecting to witness the fragility of life. About a half an hour into my shift
the rapid response alarm blared through the emergency room. I turned to my preceptor and
quizzically asked what this meant. A rapid response is a patient who is in need of immediate
medical care and intervention. As an EMT who is part of the rapid response team you will be
expected to assist with vitals and chest compressions. Let s head toward the recess room, and I ll

already there preparing for the arrival of the patient. A nurse was on the phone with the firefighters

The Leading Causes of the Opium Wars The Opium Wars were a series of conflicts that
eventually led to China s decline through the trade and abuse of the drug opium. The first of the
Opium Wars (1839 42) was fought between China and Britain, and the second war (1856 1860)
involved France as well. In both wars, the foreign powers triumphed over China, causing havoc,
causing the fall of the Qing dynasty. Prior to the Opium Wars, China was full of rich culture,
remarkable goods, and useful inventions. They had invented gunpowder, kites, and porcelain,
all of which were in demand. The Qing dynasty had believed that they were superior to other
countries, and refused to let any foreigners access any Chinese territory. There was only one area

questions in regards to human behavior. According to Schwartzman (1993), Ethnographyis used for
research involving cultural sharing, and is linked to the use of anthropology as a way to view
modern organization (p. 3). The researchers examine individuals from the inside in order to gain a
better understanding of their actions. One of the keywords in ethnographic research is culture.
Culture is the focal point of ethnographic research. As stated by Van Maanen (Merriam, 2002), the
result of ethnographic inquiry is cultural description (p, 237). This involves the researcher
conducting extensive time to the research.
According to Merriam (2002), methods of Ethnographic research include interviews, observations,
and archival research. Through these methods, researchers are able to gather information on the
shared activities and patterns of individuals (Creswell, 2007). Several procedures are necessary in

study, gaining access, collecting data, phenomenological data analysis, gathering themes, and

production plants. In case of appreciation in AUD against USD, the price competitiveness of
products would not be weakened as compared with local products. Flexible sourcing could be
applied to allow switch of production from one country to another. Learning from Stanley Black
Decker, Billabong could reduce its import to the U.S. and export more from the U.S. production
plant to other countries when USD depreciate against other currencies. This help to create long

For diversification of market, a more balanced market distribution is recommended. The current
