Surface roughness has become the most significant functional requirement and it is an index of the
product quality. In order to increase the efficiency of hard to machine alloys like titanium and nickel
alloys, an Electro Chemical Honing (ECH) process has been employed to achieve highest material
removal rate with the best surface qualities. This extended abstract describes the design and
fabrication of an indigenously developed tooling setup for ECH of external cylindrical surfaces of
Titanium alloys (TI 6AL 4V) and also highlights the key process parameters and their affect on
ECH process. The influence of the machining parameters on the surface finish has been investigated
and optimized the process parameters for improving the surface roughness is also evaluated.
Percentage improvements in surface roughness values Ra and other parameters like electrolyte
temperature, composition and concentration were studied while changing the processing time (PT).

Senior year is such a busy, long, and stressful school. On top of all that is deciding which college
you would want to attend and the process to get into whatever school you choose. Personally, ever
since I was young, I was kind of obligated to attend TexasTech by my relatives. Being that I was
born in the small town of Brownfield, Texas and most of my family is from there, they made
frequent trips to Lubbock being that it was only forty five minutes away. Thus, they fell in love
with the school, their sports teams, and the environment. I on the other hand, hadn t experienced
all this due to the fact that I grew up in Amarillo, Texas. But every time my family would visit

K Pax is a movie about a man, Prot, who claims to be an alien from the planet K Pax. Admitted to
the Psychiatric Institute of Manhattan, Prot is evaluated as delusional by psychiatrist Mark
Powell. Prot s unwavering ability to answer questions about K Pax and its civilization, however,
leads Dr. Powell to doubt his diagnosis, and he begins to explore Prot s past. There is some
dispute over whether Prot is an alien or a human; both sides have evidence to support their claims

debate over reproductive rights. As the movement gained momentum so did the demand for birth
control, sex education, family planning and the repeal of all abortion laws. On January 22, 1973

trillion dollars of taxpayer money yearly, but it also is unable to accurately account for the exact
whereabouts of those funds year after year. The DoD does, of course, offer its own budget,
however, due to the byzantine and ineffective nature of the Federal Bureaucracy, it is impossible
to verify if the money is even so much as used for its intended purpose. Looking at this budget,
two sections stand out as bloated, which is a statement in a budget that is packed with Pork
barrel spending: Procurement, and Maintenance. Ultimately, should these two areas of the
budget be reasonably downsized, and the others thoroughly audited, the DoD s operating
expenses could be reduced drastically, much to the taxpayer s benefit. Procurement is, by far,
the easiest section of the budget to pare down; a few simple reforms in regards to the process by
which government contracts are granted, coupled with the elimination of several pork barrel
programs, could save federal government millions of dollars. In regards to contracts, all deals

During an economics lecture the professor said to my class I do not know whether the increasing
income inequality is an issue or not . I was perplexed. I thought the goal of Economics, as a social
science, was to achieve the maximum welfare of people while efficiently using resources. So how
is income inequality that renders many people worse off, not an issue? By not stating his opinion,
he wished to remain unbiased. However, if everyone were to keep their understanding of justice and

paintings are actually personal friends of his. The woman in the lower left is Aline Charigot,
Renoir s future wife. Charigot was clearly painted with the most detail and coloring, and holds the
most presence in the painting which could be a hint as to Renoir s fancy of her. Standing behind

1901. His family soon moved to a Missouri farm where then he began to draw. That farm failed
so they moved to Kansas City where Walt started delivering newspapers. In 1917, the family
moved to Chicago. Walt started making art for his high school! Walt took classes at the Art
Institute of Chicago, and tried to get into the U.S. Army. He got rejected for being underage so
he joined the American Ambulance Corps and arrived in France as World War I ended. When
Walt returned from France he returned to Kansas City again. He got a job a commercial art
studio. In 1920, while working at an ad company, Walt found out about the world of animation
and started up with that. While sticking with his job during the day, he began making Laugh O
gram ad rolls and animations with the artist Ub Iwerks . LOG Films soon went broke, and Walt,
at age 21 moved to California somewhere with only $40 in his pocket. Walt had a passion for art.
He was creative, inspired by other artists, and he had a natural talent. He looked up to certain
people that were big in the art community and dedicated himself to strive to become successful. He
tried and tried and eventually he started breaking ground with new inventive ideas and his natural
