Middle school and high school were very different for me. Both schools lack
diversity and consisted of people just like me, but in middle school everyone s
identity were practically the same. I attended Catholic school until high school and
had all white classes until then too. Throughout middle school I was a rather
mischievous student who did not place academics too highly on my list of
priorities, so I was often making the teacher s job much harder than it needed to be.
If not for how involved my family and I were with the church and the school my in
class experience would not have been as pleasant. The only way that we ever
learned about our own identity was through religion classes and through church so
the fact that the entire school probably had less than five students of ethnicity in a
school with grade 3 8 in it was never addressed. In middle schoolalmost everyone was
middle classor at least were not struggling like some of the families in more urban
areas. If a family did begin to struggle enough financially they simply went to
another school because the cost of Catholic school was no longer a luxury that they

The Realm Of Human Commodification
The realm of human commodification has been complicated by the consideration
of the connotation of labor. Human beings have been converted into faceless
commodities, bought and sold in order to improve the profit margins of
impersonal corporations. Thus, countries like the Philippines have evolved into a
global labor market. Human beings are now being imported and exported to serve
the whims of a capitalist market. The commodification of human beings has
resulted in an impersonalization of social relations, which have now come to hold
economic terminology. Human creativity and potential has been reduced to a
wage regulated transport of labor. While those at the top of the capitalist food
chain enjoy the pleasures of a materialist world, those at the bottom loose their
status as feeling, thinking human beings. Beyond the realm of political legality,
there exists a commodification of human for a different kind of labor. Sex
trafficking presents itself as the underground by product of the concept of tradable
human labor. Women and children are trafficked all around the world as laborers
serving sex. This has led to a dual commodification. While women and children have
been commodified as laborers , sex to has been reduced to a dehumanized product .
Thus, people no longer sell merely their products in the market, but instead, are led to
sell themselves recognizing their own value as commodities. The commodfied
humans offer their services as use value. The

Aerospace Engineering As An Aerospace Engineer
Henry Ford once said, When everything seems to be going against you, remember
that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. Aerospace engineers design
those planes that fly through the wind. People need the planes that they create to
travel long distances in a short amount of time. Many aerospaceengineers work with
the government and create designs important for national defense. Without
aerospace engineers, planes and other aircraft would most likely not be as safe, as
efficient, and as fast as they are today. In order to design these vehicles a high level
of education is necessary. Students that enjoy math and science courses and the
opportunity to earn good money will be superb candidates for this career.
A significant amount of education and training is required to become an aerospace
engineer. A student would need to take English one, two, three, and four. He or she
will also have to take history courses ranging from civil history to economics (
Aerospace Engineer ). Additionally, a person will need chemistry, physics, and
math classes ( Aerospace Engineers ). Necessary math courses include geometry,
algebra, trigonometry, and calculus ( Aerospace Engineer ). A bachelor s degree is
also needed to fulfill the job requirements ( Aerospace Engineers ). Students should
take numerous science and math classes so they understand various complex
concepts before they start working on a project ( Encyclopedia of Careers and
Vocational Guidance 88).

Water Quality Analysis Of The Potable And Environmental
Water
In this research project I conducted the water quality analysis of both the potable
and environmental water at various village sites, and in the New River Lagoon in
Belize. The data collected in this project contributed to the data collected over the
past decade by previous McMaster fellows and scholars. Moreover, we conveyed the
results from this study to the community partners in the villages San Carlos, Rancho
Dolores, and with the Programme for Belize the managing entity of Rio Bravo
Conservation and Management Area ( RBCMA ) which borders the New River
Lagoon. In the project we tested for bacterial contaminants, nitratenitrogen,
phosphorous, dissolved oxygen, pH, free chlorine, and ammonia levels.
In this project we continue to analyze new samples and the baseline data for any
trends in high or low levels of chemicals, as well as to keep the Belizean community
appraised of any hazards or precautions they should be taking for their drinking water
. By collaborating with our Belize community partners, we are able to discuss
possible solutions as to better techniques for cleaner water or more efficient solutions
to using clean safe drinking water.
Water is a necessity, but, when water becomes polluted with chemicals, both
inorganic and organic, it makes it difficult to use water for the health benefits and
sanitation it is normally used for. Good water quality is especially vital for Belize,
as they are largely an agricultural country. The data collected by the McMaster
