effective image in putting across the sense of troubles that she encounters because of her
inadequacy.

I am currently enrolled in Calculus and I am feeling overwhelmed because just the year before I
had only taken Algebra II so a jump from Algebra to Calculus is pretty big because I skipped

Activity 2 I chose to go for tutoring. The tutor I chose is the Valedictorian and she could have
chose to graduate as early as last year. She is currently taking this last semester here and then

I had a C in calculus when I chose to get my tutor to help me with test corrections and a few
homework assignments that were worth a lot of points. Alyssa my tutor really helped me

didn t understand on the first question I was very close to the correct answer but I factored

Intro:
There is less than one third of Americans are engaged in their jobs in any given year.
How engaged are you at your company? Do you feel like your work is valued or even appreciated?
Most of us would like to be part of a company that makes us feel involved.
Being a current Intern I have several things I ve been assigned to do each day. One particular
program that I work with is tied directly to a goal that I have set for myself and I would like to
reach that goal by the end of my internship. By setting a goal I have become a more engaged
employee because I have set a precedent and an expectation for myself, which I plan to accomplish.
I can achieve this goal with the use of motivation and productivity, which will contribute to my
overall performance in the company.
With out the help of the goal I ve set for myself there would be a lack of engagement and drive to
achieve something. This can be said for any employee who doesn t have a set goal. Motivation,
productivity and the opportunity to increase overall performance in the company, can help
employee engagement for anyone who sets a goal for themselves.

motivation or motivation from others. Depending on your personality one might work better for
