Before Gordy come along to change the standards of american culture whites and
blacks had different labels and music. Motown Records is the first record label to

If we can only know that our existence is real, who is to say that there is not an
outside force that makes of the rest of our reality that we supposedly live? If our
dreams are just distorted pieces of our reality and our reality is merely a show put
on by the evil deceiver, we know for certain we cannot base our beliefs on what we
see and the tools unto which we use to perceive it; i.e. extension, hands, and eyes.
Conclusion
Descartes makes it clear that we cannot be certain of anything. The method of doubt
brings us to understand this better by giving a set of guidelines to follow to
systematically understand and get closer to some kind of truth. By trying to find
some truth to base all thoughts on, Descartes tried to find an absolute truth by
coming to the realization that nothing he believed was of any truth. Although not
finding much truth in his journeys, he found a systematic way to come closer to
finding truth. Descartes was presented with a problem of not knowing anything, and
by creating the method of doubt he came closer to finding the truth.

The site is located at the northwestern side of the intersection between Houghton
Street and South Street. The project site is shown in Figure One, Locus Map: 1
Houghton Street, Hudson MA.
The project site is labelled as Assessors Sheet 29, Lot 218 and is a historic mill
complex. Therefore, certain activities are exempted from requirements stated in 310
CMR 10.58(1) through (5), but Best Management Practices (BMP) will still be
applied.
The site area is currently vacant and is approximately 14,757 SF. The lot is bordered
to the west by the Danforth Brook, with Houghton Street to the east, South Street to
the South, and a one story commercial structure to the north. There is a footbridge
southwesterly of the site which connects to a parking lot. The site is flat with an
elevation change of 1 foot from the northern property line to south street.
The Danforth Brook is a perennial stream, with a running water depth of roughly
one foot. The bottom of the stream is covered with plants and various pieces of
rubble. It is confined by stone walls, both of which are over 100 years old. The
riverfront is degraded because, parts of the stone wall are covered by overgrowth and
a tree has grown in the riverbed in an area adjacent to the footbridge. The wall is in
various states of disrepair with pieces of it lying in the riverbed.
Additionally, a small area of Bordering Land Subject to Flooding (BLSF), extends
onto the western portion of the property. Based on the FEMA Flood Insurance
Study for Middlesex County from July 6, 2016, the elevation of the floodplain was
determined to be at 204.2 feet. The flood zone area is having been calculated to be
approximately 4,588 SF. The actual area of the flood zone could vary slightly
because the site is flat and could have various undulations not considered in the
survey.
Description of Existing Conditions
Prior to its demolition in 1999 the building housed a three story shoe factory. After
its demolition it was used as a drive through ATM until 2002, when the ATM was
removed. Currently the lot is vacant with low lying plant growth and random debris.

Paradise Lost Reflection
In Paradise Lost by John Milton, it falls into the account of the book of Genesis; he
adds a lot of detail about the beginning, the creation of man, and the beginning of
Satan. Even though it is a hard read for new readers, Milton keeps ones attention by
adding specific detail of what happen during the times of Adam and Eve. For some of
the things he said happen, doesn t go along with what is said in the Bible. Taking
ideas from the Bible and extend them into more detail, it almost made Satan look
like he was punish for no reason, almost the hero in the story, but at the same time
isn t, just another angel that has fallen over jealously. He is just a sympathetic
character that knows he got kicked out of the presence of God, and wants to destroy
what he created for doing so. Without him tricking Eve, we wouldn t be here today.
For Milton, he had to create tension about what happen, even though God already
knew.
In Genesis God is wise and known as the creator and is more as the narrator of what
is happening in the Bible, than in Milton s epic. Also He is referred to as Lord God,
instead of God, like Milton refers to Him. Paradise Lost was about Adam and Eve,
how they came to be created, the fall of Satan and his journey to get back at God by
corrupting Adam and Eve, in God s creation called the Garden of Eden. Paradise Lost
is similar to the book of Genesis because its story comes from the main pages of
Genesis, chapters one through four. But unlike the Bible, Milton gives us more
detail as to what happen and why. Genesis states only the key points for us to
understand the big picture. Genesis starts out saying In the beginning, God created
the heavens and the earth... And God said, Let there be light and there was light
and God separated the light from the dark... (Genesis 1: 1 4). Milton describes God
as a being who you can have a normal conversation with, as if He was an angel, with
no high authority. Not even Satan. Before the fall, Satan was formerly known as
Lucifer, known to be Gods favorite angels. He was even leader of the worship. You
were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in
Eden, the garden of God: every precious stone adorned you ... you were the holy
