This document discusses planning for evaluation and assessment in virtual intercultural exchanges. It recommends determining learning objectives and outcomes, how to assess online intercultural interactions through participation proof or interaction products, and assessing student ability to interact and reflect on learning. Tools for evaluation include pre-, during-, and post-assessments; reflective journals; rubrics for activities, products, and outcomes; and teacher and student interviews. Assessment of intercultural competence, electronic literacy, and language and culture development is important.
