Equipment and Resources

This is a DSLR Camera Stabilizer.
Through the use of this, we are able to reduce the
vertical and horizontal movement when we are using
the camera therefore resulting in smoother and more
fluid camerawork.
However we are not intending on using this piece of
equipment in the wide majority of the shots as we
want to keep the film as stable of possible.
Camera Stabilizing Rig
This is a DSLR CameraTripod
Through the use of this, we are able to create static
shots from high angles, low angles and different
heights as the tripod is double extendable with a 360
degree head as well as a extender on the head to give
the camera the extra height.
TheTripod also includes a liquid compass which
allows us to see whether the tripod is straight up or
slightly leaning to one side. This will be very useful
because it will allow us to get straight shots without
having to spot it in post production and having to
reshoot.

This is a Cullmann Monopod
We’re most likely not going to use the monopod as
the tripod offers more to us than this piece of
equipment.
However it is very light weight so we will take it on
shooting days just in case we find a use for it.
It’s a lot more portable than a regular tripod as it is
lighter and smaller therefore we might take it with us.

These are Reflector Panels
These panels allow us to direct and give us some
control over the lighting indoors and out doors.
We can either add extra light or we can absorb light
and make the subject darker.
Ultimately it gives us more creative freedom for the
lighting of the piece. We value this as a vital piece of
kit.

This is the RODE Mic Pro
This microphone is one of the best in the business for
amateur aspiring film creators and is a must have
piece of equipment.
It gives us crisp and clear audio which is very
important in adding that extra bit of quality into our
final production.
The pop filter that covers the mic reduces popping
sounds as well as the wind which will be very
important as we will be filming outside at times.
The mic also allows us to cut out background noise.

These are Lens Filters
Different filters have different properties such as
blocking out UV light, blocking out sun glare and
making the picture darker.
We might find use for some of these filters whilst
filming outside as if there is glaring sun (which is
unlikely) we can put one on the lens to make sure that
the picture is as best as possible.

This is theTamron 70-300mm Macro Lens
This lens will be used for extreme close ups and close
ups as well as extreme long shots. This is because it
has a much larger aperture and zoom length. This
allows for crisp and clear images close up and far
away.
This particular lens has a macro setting therefore
allowing us to focus the image of a subject that
maybe close to the camera.
On the top of the lens we have a cap that reduces the
glare of the sun or any other light that may enter the
lens.
Tamron 70-300mm Macro Lens
This is a Canon 55mm Lens
This is the standard lens that most DSLR Cameras are
equipped with. Its lightweight and can zoom a small
distance which is okay for medium shots as well as
long shots.
This will be the lens that we will be using for the
majority of our piece as it is the most practical for the
wide majority of the shots we want to take.

Photography is a keen hobby of mine, hence
why I own the camera and equipment.
Here are some photos I have taken with the
camera to showcase the quality of the Image.
