I will be using a Canon 600d camera, Velbon DV7000 tripod, SD card to store footage, and a computer to edit the film opening. The camera and tripod will provide reliable and steady footage. Footage will be uploaded to the computer and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, which the filmmaker has experience using for preliminary films.

1. Equipment I will need
I will be using a variety of equipment to film my film opening, I will be using a Cannon 600d
because I have previously worked with these cameras and I have found that they are reliable and
easy to work with. I have also chosen to use a Velbon DV7000 Tripod to keep the camera steady
so the film is clearer and runs smoothly; I will be using a tripod for many of my shots. The only
other equipment I will need will be the SD card to hold all the clips and images on until I put them
on a computer to start editing and a computer to upload my footage onto to start the post
production. I would have needed a go-pro camera had I been making the whole film but in the
opening scene I do not need one as there will not be any running. I will be using an editing
software to put the clips together for my opening scene. I have decided to use Adobe Premiere
Pro CS5.5 because I have used this software for my preliminary film and it is an efficient and
relatively easy software for editing films.
