Hackathon experience
27/28th September 2019, Rennes, Brittany France
Develop digital tools for PWD employment
Why did we organise an Hackathon ?
 In France, to take care, there are priority politic funds to develop e-health or e-medical
BUT for social approach to help people with disability, digital tools don’t exist
 At EPNAK organization, we imagine a model for employment of PWD : PAOFIP (Platform of
Orientation, Vocational Training and Professional integration). And to help PWD who can’t
have mobility, we imagine ePAOFIP concept with 5 features
1. Create Social link between supporter and PWD
2. Allow the medico-social professionals to provide remote support
3. Provide access to digital resources (distance learning, MOOC…)
4. Ensure secure data transfer
5. Access local resources
Hackathon
It’s a contraction of 2 words : « hacking » and « marathon »
 We met some Hackathon Organizers
 They told us about Motivation, creativity and the emergence of new ideas, employee
involvement, innovation in working method…
 We would like to bring Digital Technology into the medico-social sector
 Develop digital tools for the employment of PWD
Why did we organize an Hackathon ?
To prepare this event, we have :
 Created a national steering group to manage the project
 Launched a national call for volunteers
 Met students from a French national engineering school : INSA
 Received support of institutions, companies and associations
 Obtained the French Tech Label
