Big Goals & Class Vision At the front of the classroom is the Anchor chart for
Mr. Payne’s Class Big Goal.
All students will score 75% or higher on all Mastery
Learning Quizzes & Benchmarks.
All students will grow 1 and ½ years in reading and
math.

● Verbal warning -2 Deduction

Behaviors that will move students down the
consequence ladder are as follows:
- Side conversation or calling out in class
- Incomplete work
- Being out of your seat without permission
- Being off task
Remember to keep small, small. Getting a $2
deduction is not worth having a reaction and
earning a $10 deduction and detention for
disrespect

Relationship Building
Students are currently campaigning for student government
positions. Students are building relationships with each other.
My classroom is split in half with this divider. I love being able to
build closer relationships when my class in smaller groups

Family involvement
The class website I maintain is full of resources and opportunities for family
involvement. Websites, announcements, photos, surveys, videos, student projects,
previews of homework, standards, and lesson plans.

Discussion about social justice lead to a 4th
grade peace march.
Love in Action is the community based
organization that 4th grade regularly
contributes to with awareness campaigns
and clothing & food drives.
