What Do We Mean by “Data Governance”?
It is the exercise of authority,
control, and shared decision-making
(planning, monitoring, and enforcement)
over the management of data assets.
In other words…
It is the process of
setting, controlling,
administering, and monitoring
conformance with policy.

What Do We Mean by “Data Governance”?
It is a system of decision rights
and accountabilities for
information-related processes,
executed according to agreed-upon models
which describe who can take what actions
with what information, and when,
under what circumstances,
using what methods.

Then, What is Data Management?
It is an administrative process by which the
required data is acquired, validated, stored,
protected, and processed, and by which
its accessibility, reliability, and timeliness
is ensured to satisfy the needs
of the data users.

What is a Project?
“A project refers specially to any short-term
and or temporary task engagement or endeavour in
which a particular and unique result, often in the
form of a specific product and or service is
generated or created.”

The normal execution of standard functional

contrast to a project or program which would
