 Use a real picture.
 Don’t leave gaps in your work history.
 Mention volunteer work.
Only invite people you know

 Never invite people you don’t know to connect!!!


 You can send invitations if you know the person.


 Your account will be suspended if 5 people say they
  don’t know you. (IDK)
LinkedIn Secrets
 Groups are the Key to networking!
 Search for groups in your field or region.
 Search the group membership.
 Find people you wish to know and send
  them a message…not an invite to connect.
 Avoid “pitching”! It is all about THEM…not
  you.
Fifth Commandment

 Your word is your bond.- only a person
 with honesty and integrity can be
 accurately motivated or directed.
