The idea of searching for a new planet has merit. The idea of finding an abandoned spacecraft and
trying to put the pieces together of what happened to the ship also is engaging. There s a ticking
clock tension to get home or to get to the new planet.
The script is driven by the theme of second chances. It also examines the man vs. machine premise.
Ironically, due to social engineering, the humans have become more robot like, suppressing their
emotions, while the android featured in the script, is almost more human than the real humans. It s a
clever contradiction.
While the script has definite strengths, the overall script would benefit from more development to
build upon those strengths.
One area that would benefit from more development is the structure and pace. It s crucial to
immediately engage and grab the audience, especially in the first ten pages. The current first ten
pages of the script feels slow. It introduces the characters, but nothing exciting happens to
immediately draw the audience into the plot. It s not until around pages 16 or 17 that they find the
planet and this perks our interest.

Correspondingly, to gain the support of the German s, Hitler told the citizens what they wanted
to hear. In 1929, the stock market crash not only affected the United States, but many European
countries, including Germany. The German people were quickly attracted to Hitler s promise of
news jobs, a strong economy, and military power. WIth the hardships that the Great Depression
brought to the society, the people were desperate for any and all relief that could get them back
on their feet. Using similar leading tactics, both Jack and Hitler developed methods of persuasion
to win over the groups they were trying to obtain. Both leaders were able to gain the support of
many through persuasion and promises, but after they gained that power, they used it as a way to
control their followers. The two were able to successfully do this because of the amount of faith
people had in them. Hitler once said, What luck for rulers that men do not think. In this sentence
explains in simple word, that when followers put huge amounts of trust in their leaders to make the
correct choices, they don t think twice about the actions that their leaders take part in. In

Four philosophers met together to discuss political, economic, and social questions. They all met in
Europe and it was the period of time of high intellectual ideas. This meeting helped improve our
capitals and our democrats. The four philosophers were John Locke, Voltaire, Adam Smith, and
Mary Wollstonecraft. They called this period of time the Age of Enlightenment or the Age of
Reason. All four thinkers have main ideas that are both the same and different. John Lockeliked
